The Best Date Night Restaurants In Mexico City - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"This French spot might not be trendy, but it’s been around for over 15 years and has hosted more date nights than a Tinder Platinum account. Catering to a slightly more seasoned crowd, it’s the perfect spot for dinner with someone you’ve been seeing for a while. The chef and owner is always in the kitchen, doing what he does best. The short rib à la bourguignonne is fork tender, and the foie gras crème brûlée is the definition of decadence. Don’t skip the apple strudel à la mode that’s a classic for a reason." - guillaume guevara

Eloise Chic Cuisine - Review - San Ángel - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"At Eloise, the decor—and the name—might feel a little dated, but don’t let that fool you. This beloved 15-year-old French spot is full of flowers, cozy seating, and dishes prepared à la minute. The chef and owner is always in the kitchen, doing what he does best. The short rib à la bourguignonne is fork tender, and the foie gras crème brûlée is the definition of decadence. Don’t skip the apple strudel à la mode that’s a classic for a reason. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Guillaume Guevara

French Flair, Fancy Food, and Parental Approval ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looking for a place to impress your parents? Eloise might be it. This French-inspired spot boasts tasty food and good service, though it comes at a price. The Good: * French Fancy: The French influence is clear, and the food is well-executed. * Tasty: You won't be disappointed with the flavors. * Good Service: Expect attentive and professional service. The Not-So-Good: * Pricey: Be prepared to spend a bit more. * Small: It's a relatively small restaurant and it's not the most comfortable. The Bottom Line: Eloise is a solid option for a slightly more upscale meal, especially if you're dining with your parents.

The place itself is beautiful and the servers are all really attentive. The good is incredible. Don't miss the tuna tartare, the beat carpaccio and the shrimp risotto.

Duck with orange was incredible. Perhaps one of the best dishes I've ever had?

The best meal of our trip! The service and the food exceeded our expectations and the price was a fair reflection of the quality of the restaurant. Highly recommend if you love French fine dining.

Great food, service, music. Everything. The best…especially in this area. They never forget a single thing. The bill is always correct too. I have been here many times and love it.

The service at Eloise was beyond impeccable. Fernando really elevated our dining experience with his attentive and prompt service - truly the best!! His clear explanations about the menu showcased a genuine passion for the culinary offerings, adding a personal touch to the evening. We shared a total of 8 plates and 3 desserts - every single one was divine! An unforgettable dining experience. We will definitely be going back! Thank you!

So, my grandma had been willing to come to this place since forever and we finally took her. We were not disappointed. I think I have not had better french cuisine in CDMX than Eloise. Onion soup was AMAZING. Tuna tartar was just ok; nothing to report there. Waiter (who was amazing, btw) suggested some charcuterie entree with different kinds of meat (a duck-prosciutto to die for). What really amazed me was my apple tart. I would come back just for the dessert. I believe it usually comes with cinammon ice cream, but the waiter (did I say service was wonderful?) managed to switch it to cardamom. Heaven on a plate. Wine cellar is diverse, but a little expensive (at least for the Mexican wines). Prices are fair; service is top level, desserts could not be better. Come, come, come!

had the eloise burger with braised beef, bacon burger, and the margaret burger with mushrooms. surprisingly, they had a buy 1 get 1 special on tuesday; a coworker and i visited and each ordered the eloise, then split the bacon and margaret burgers. i have a hard time picking a favorite! i'm not a mushroom guy, but the margaret ended up surprising us both and we really enjoyed them all. i don't think you can go wrong with a burger here.
