"After a months-long closure due to a small kitchen fire, the steakhouse at the Park Hyatt Aviara has reopened with great fanfare with celebrity chef Richard Blais (California English) bringing on James Beard Award semifinalist Jonathan Bautista (Kingfisher, the Fishery) as its new executive chef. The menu will include much-missed favorites such as the beef rib chop “Storm Breaker Cut” and Epic Snack Tower, along with the iconic Smoking Ember cocktail. New additions include scallop crudo in a pineapple vinaigrette and squash blossom stuffed with pork, shrimp, and vermicelli." - Candice Woo

"A Richard Blais project led by executive chef Jon Bautista, the steakhouse restaurant sits on the 18th green of the Aviara Golf Club with views of the Battiquitos Lagoon. One private dining room can accommodate up to 14 people, and the other can seat up to 50. A few menu highlights include the ahi tuna tostada with toasted coconut, swordfish prime rib, and the beef rib chop “storm breaker cut,” a 40-ounce cut of Brandt Family Beef with seasonal vegetables." - Helen I. New this season is the Palmer Peach, a tequila-based cocktail with peach Giffard, Aperol, and a squeeze of lime." - Kelly Bone, Candice Woo
