Emmy Squared Pizza: Midtown West, New York

I first tried one of their pizzas when we went to Emily's downtown and was not impressed. Felt that the size for the price we were paying wasn't worth it. We tried this location sometime last year, and ordered the MVP. Still think it's pretty pricy; but they definitely delivered on flavor with this particular pizza. The upgrade to the VIP would cost you another $5, and I'm not sure that that is worth it, as the pizza is greasy enough without pepperonis; but I do like to order takeout and add my own chili peppers to cut the fat.

I recently hosted my daughter's birthday party at Emmy Squared Pizza: Midtown West in New York, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting a party, Kelsey, the general manager, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Planning a party for over 20 guests can be overwhelming, but Kelsey made the process seamless and stress-free. She was incredibly helpful in suggesting menu options that would cater to everyone's tastes and preferences. Her expertise in table setting and decoration truly elevated the ambiance of the restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests of all ages. On the day of the party, Kelsey and her team were an absolute delight. They were not only attentive and efficient but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making our celebration special, and their warmth and hospitality made all the difference. Located within walking distance from Lincoln Center, Emmy Squared Pizza: Midtown West is the perfect spot for any occasion. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, enjoying a post-show dinner, or simply dining out with friends and family, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're planning an intimate dinner for two or a larger gathering, I highly recommend Emmy Squared Pizza Midtown West. My second visit to Emmy Squared (since they debuted in Williamsburg as a stand-alone pizzeria) and I feared that the conversion to a chain would have destroyed quality. Fortunately, NOT. Not only were the pizzas beyond delicious (Colony, Margherita & Vodka), but equally importantly, the staff were super pleasant & kind. Portions were huge but I couldn't help scarfing down a whole pizza in one sitting ... cos t'was *that* good! As a plus, this location was not packed to the gills on a friday night (unlike the rest of the locations) so we got seated immediately without reservations. Decor is en pointe with a dark minimalist interior. The restrooms were super clean which is indicative of staff morale - shows they take pride in their workplace. Drinks (beers and the Warwick Valley Apple Cider) were delish and moderately priced as well. Highly recommended <3

Good Detroit style pizza in NYC. Good size restaurant, plenty of seating. Also some nice outdoor seating.

Favorite neighborhood pizza spot!!! The Detroit style pizza is amazing, and the garlic bread might be the best I've ever had, even with substituting for vegan cheese due to a dairy allergy! The staff is also fabulous and really adds to the great experience. Nick, Mel and General Manager, Kelsey were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of this past weekend. I will be back often, and definitely when I have my family and friends visiting from Detroit :)

Randomly went in after a night at the opera and was so so happy I did. Got the MVP which was a great and tasty choice. One order is a whole slab that most people wouldn't be able to eat in one sitting. We were two who had enough leftover for a midnight snack later! It was hard tho bc this pizza smells so good that it barely made it home. The flavors were very thoughtful with an everything seedy crust, punchy vodka sauce with a bright pesto drizzle, ties it together and makes it feel less greasy. Nonetheless- heavier than a NY slice, this deep dish is a perfect treat after a three hour opera. Will return to opera if that means I get more of this thick &juicy slab.

The food here is exquisite. Great quality & fastest service. The servers and the owner/manager were super nice. Great drink options! I highly recommend the MVP pizza among the speciality ones (pic with red sauce). They also have custom pizzas (pic with white sauce) Among appetizers roasted cauliflower has a very unique recipe and great taste.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE.....I've walked past this place so many times and I'm sorry I'm just now discovering this gem. The staff were super friendly, I love the food. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Crispy and that was probably the best Chicken Sandwich I've had in a long time. My friends and I will definitely be back.
