"Helmed by Franco Tassone, who comes from a family of chefs, this quaint neighborhood restaurant boasts a robust wine list sourced from 13 different Italian regions. Menu highlights include their anima “soup of the soul” with potatoes and pastina in a richly rendered chicken broth, spaghetti Romano, and desserts like the Pope’s Pillow with custard and mascarpone in a pastry square. The homey interior and partially covered patio make it an easy choice for dining in." - Helen I. Hwang, Eater Staff

Came here with my family based on the reviews online. The whole package exceeded expectations. I’ve eaten in many Italian restaurants all over the world including many in Italy. The food was so authentic, the service was perfect. Barbara was so helpful and welcoming. Eat here if you are looking for the perfect Italian experience. Highly recommended.

I’m so glad I finally tried this place! It’s super cute, cozy, and the food is delicious! It’s a great date night spot. It was easy to make reservations. We came to celebrate a friends birthday and the servers were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. Food review: Literally everything that we tried was fantastic! Complimentary bread/olive oil: (5/5) We had to get a few plates because we could not stop eating it. So good, perfect texture, and had melted cheese inside. Bruschetta: (5/5) It was super fresh and so flavorful. We devoured this super quick and should’ve ordered 2 or 3 for the table. Burrata: (5/5) This was SO good. Super fresh, the balsamic was delicious and good portion. Orecchiette pasta: (10/5) This was my all time favorite dish. It was embarrassing how quickly I devoured my bowl of pasta. The noodles were so fresh and the sauce… was bomb! Lasagna: (4.5/5) Super big portion, very tasty! Definitely would order again. Desserts: (3.5/5) These were pretty tasty, but I could’ve gone without desserts here.

Google
Great place to eat dinner, meet friends and enjoy an evening. Wonderful outdoor seating area with heating for those cool nights. The food is absolutely wonderful, the price is extremely reasonable and the staff very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the La Jolla Pacific Beach area. No cocktail ... only wine and beer but I don't think you will miss it because you'll have a wonderful evening with great food and an extremely reasonable price

Google
This was my first time dining at Enoteca Adriano. I find the restaurant options in pacific beach to be rather lack luster so I wasn’t sure how this would be. Thankfully I didn’t need to worry. We were sat right away for our reservation and the service was very friendly and timely. To start, we had the burrata special which had grilled eggplant, cherry tomatoes, capers and arugula drizzled with a roasted red pepper sauce. So good! For main courses we had the spaghetti carbonara and the gnocchi. Both were very tasty, you can’t go wrong with a well done carbonara. The gnocchi were very light and fluffy. Overall, this was a perfect date night spot!

A lovely dinner in PB while visiting San Diego. We made reservations and had a delicious Italian meal. Bruschetta and Burrata apps were chefs kiss. Merluzzo And Rigatoni al Brasato pictured, family thoroughly enjoyed their meals too!!

Google
What a gem! Loved the cozy and charming atmosphere. I’ve found owner operated establishments to be much better in terms of quality and service than the typical restaurant. No exception here. The appetizers and pastas were all excellent. The tiramisu I’ll be dreaming about until I can return. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Enoteca Adriano is a must try!

Google
The food here is excellent—I had the fettuccine Alfredo and orecchiette bosco, and both dishes were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was great too, making for an overall fantastic dining experience!

Yelp
I haven't visited this place since my mother's birthday years ago. When my parents came to town to visit, it was actually my mom that wanted to eat here. Highly recommend making a reservation. We were seated promptly. They expanded their outside, and there were many heat lamps to help with the cold weather (SD cold). The food was the absolute best. Everything we ordered was delicious. Be sure to ask about their specials!

Rom L.

Yelp
My favorite Italian restaurant in PB! I came with friends around 7:30 PM, the place was full and we waited until our tables were ready around 30 minutes. The food was great and Three of us shared two main courses. Highly recommend for dates, good time with friends and family:)

Hubert Z.

Yelp
We came on a Friday night at 5:30 and there were several empty tables. I was surprised because every time I drive by, the place looks packed. But as we dined the dining room filled up and by the time we left, there was a crowd waiting outside. Our server was so kind and attentive. She even talked Pokémon with our son. The owner or manager stopped by our table several times as well. All staff were so kind. Beautiful ambiance that felt comfortable and inviting. Homey but not typical Italian restaurant or trendy modern. I had the Chilean Seabass over ink pasta special. It was sooooooo good and cooked just right. Fish was fresh and moist. Pasta was not too al dente and not too soft. It looked as good as it tasted. Nitrate is one of their specialties so we got one off the menu and one of the special. Both were good but not as good as I've had elsewhere. I preferred the bruschetta. The burrata was just a bit firmer than I like. My guest had the pesto and it came in a cheese bowl. It also was delicious and really cool looking. The pesto was creamy and mild. I wish I had saved room for dessert. Next time. Parking is street parking so you may need to circle a bit but it's worth it. They also have a very extensive wine selection.

Bridget B.

Yelp
Coming from someone who has tried nearly every italian spot in SD, this is by far my favorite and most consistent. My partner and I come here once a year on our anniversary and I get the pasta romano (the pesto pasta in the cheese bowl) every time, it is seriously so good. Happy to see it hasn't blown up quite yet, it's a nice little hole in the wall but it's a must go. They have a movie playing on the projector sometimes in the main dining room which is a great touch (Nightmare before Christmas in October!) Highlights *Best pasta texture *Great flavors without over salting *Fresh ingredients *Great service

Yelp
We just had a lovely dinner at this cozy, laidback, neighborhood restaurant. What a hidden gem! When we arrived a little bit early they brought us right in to our table. I was worried because it is an indoor/outdoor restaurant, but everything had great heaters making dinner cozy. The meal was perfect. We had a spinach salad with pears and gorgonzola and a mista green salad. Both were fresh and tasty. For pasta, my husband had a lovely seafood/saffron infused linguini. I had a nice winter mushroom rigatoni. Both were distinct and delish. They brought out a free gelato, because it was my birthday. The best was the house bread with mozzarella and a perfect olive oil infusion. Service was attentive. The owner made the rounds to see how things were. A perfect night.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great food and service is always incredible. When you go to Enoteca Adriano you feel that you are in Italy. The burratas are so yummy

Rachel W.

Yelp
The food is so good! I highly recommend the orecchiette. I've heard there has been a shift in the restaurant which explains the portion size changes but none the less, very tasty. Service was friendly and the ambiance is nice

Angie C.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of having dinner here for a friend's bachelorette party Saturday night and the food and ambiance literally transported us to Italy-- let me tell ya about it . Upon arrival, we waited in line behind another party to get checked-in to our 7pm reservation, but the host was no where to be found . After waiting 10 minutes, which seemed like forever in our group of 6 dressed in our show-stopping bachelorette party themed outfits, we finally got our table . The inside was decorated classic, lights were romantically dim, and the place itself had a very vintage feel . There were wine bottles in the background used as part of the esthetic . We were sat right in front near the left side of the door. Water jugs and cups were pre-set on the table and we waited another 10 mins to be greeted to order wine . We finally were greeted by Hector who was very kind and friendly, but he definitely was a busy man . He took our wine orders, brought us the complimentary bread and oil dip, and then we placed our main dish orders . Here's the food review: Cabernet was smooth and hit the spot. Perfect to balance out the rich Italian dishes ! 8.5/10 complimentary bread and dipping oil was tasty and a nice freebie. 7.5/10 Spaghetti Romano was ready to be photographed for Instagram ! Spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente just how I liked. Burrata was fresh and creamy . Pesto cream was deliciously rich and flavorful . Crushed pistachios gave some nuttiness . The pecorino cheese crust bowl was the star of the show-- Crispy, crunchy, salty, and sooo fun to eat . Recommend sharing ! 9/10 My other friends had the salmon entree, both gnocchi entrees, prosciutto salad (which i almost ordered for myself)-- they all enjoyed their dishes and presentation was lovely . They offered me to try, but I honestly was too full from my spaghetti to try them lol . The bride was offered a free dessert which was a nice touch-- she loved every bite ! Overall, food was very authentic and satisfying . Love that they have plenty of variety and even gluten-free options . We were there for a total of almost 3 hours which is a little much due to the fact that we all only had one drink each-- the bride had two drinks lol . I would love to be back to try more of their dishes, but maybe on a less busy time and day !

Ted K.

Yelp
Food was very good. Carppacio was excellent, Carbonara was good, but I have had better. The service was very disappoiting. The servers seem overwhelmed.

K. I.

Yelp
Service was AWFUL. Got sat, waited 20min before we had to ask the host for a server. The server came by just to say she'd be right with us. We watched her walk around helping other tables, but she then came back AGAIN to tell us she'd be right with us. We waited more until the host came over and said she'd take our order. The bread didn't come out until 30min later. After eating we waited a good amount of time AGAIN and when she didn't come back, we had to ask the host to take our dessert order. The only time the server seemed attentive was when we were ready to pay. We had also watched what looked like the manager go say hi to every table but ours. This wasn't originally where we were going to have dinner so we weren't dressed up. It seemed like we weren't seen as important because we were wearing sweatshirts. We felt awkward the whole time with how we were neglected and avoided. This was a really disappointing experience. We've never been treated like this before.

Jack B.

Yelp
Food is excellent and service is good. New owners just took over and they are trying to keep it the same. I guess time will tell!

Leonard R.

Yelp
One of the best hidden gems in San diego. We have been going there for many years and absolutely love it. The food is amazing, the vibe is relaxed and the vibe is sophisticated. The new owners have upgraded the restaurant and now its even better.

Phoebe L.

Yelp
Since new ownership has taken over, Enoteca has gone extremely downhill. Pasta came out in a brick as if it were made yesterday, put in the refrigerator, and reheated today. I'm appalled.

Charlotte B.

Yelp
What a great find! We went on a Tuesday and it was very busy. Sitting outside is definitely preferred especially in the summer. The gnocchi tre gusti wasn't anything special, but it was still good. The minestrone was lighter which was nice and had lots of fresh veggies. The burrata wrapped in prosciutto was delightful and the burrata was so perfectly fresh. The carbonara was made well too and it was more authentic. The dessert's custard and mascarpone was well made and had great flavor as well. They seemed to overbook which was a bummer after having a reservation. The service was ok, nothing memorable. The food was all quite good and I would return! We did street parking in Pacific Beach.

michelle s.

Yelp
This place had lots of charm, playing black and white music in the background. The hostess was really friendly, so was our server. Food not so much reminded me of spaghetti factory pasta sauce was I feel like ragu nothing special love the atmosphere to bad food did not match .

Jeanene E.

Yelp
One of my favorite Italian restaurants amazing ambiance wonderful food, awesome awesome location...close to my home !! Service is top notch, reservations are phone made .....

Rachel K.

Yelp
My absolute favorite Italian place in San Diego. The ambience is unmatched- a cozy comfortable environment- great for intimate dining or a group dinner Plays great movies on the projector outside The food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone! The bread (with melted mozzarella)and appetizers are some of the best i've had!

Noreen D.

Yelp
under their new ownership Enoteca is 110% chefs kiss Went in for dinner tonight and it's all the same recipes and layout. They did what they could to facelift and revamp everything from the furniture, movie projector, kitchen flow, and the way they source and store ingredients. From the bread basket to your entree, you can taste the difference in the small steps they took to elevate the Enoteca experience. In the past, the bread was sometimes stale or the food was sometimes good but not always great. I can tell Giueseppe's attention to detail in the kitchen is retouching our favorite recipes. If you loved or liked it before, it is a must visit again in the immediate future

Yelp
I came in to celebrate a special night with my partner and Enoteca Adriano did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays with a Christmas movie playing on a large screen on the patio. There were all kinds of people-- parties, dates, families-- which made the vibe really fun and special. My date and I ordered a bottle of wine and got the meatballs, pesto pasta, orecchiette pasta, and finished with the tiramisu. Everything was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the orecchiette with fennel sausage. Our waitress was lovely, funny, and attentive and all of the staff made our night even better! I live in the area and this was my first time in-- I am excited to be back again soon and would highly recommend this restaurant to any Italian lovers in PB!

Rachael R.

Yelp
I've lived in PB for 6 years and always wanted to try this place. Finally did! Made a reservation the day before and got there right when they opened. The ambiance of the restaurant is cute. Half indoors and half outdoors. The flys outside were really bad and kept flying in our wine and food so I'd recommend sitting indoors this time of year. My husband and I requested the bread and meatballs as an appetizer. The bread was amazing and had cheese melted inside of it. The meatballs were very good and my husband loved the sauce so much that he kept the remainder and requested more bread for dipping. That bowl was licked clean. I got the popular pesto spaghetti dish in a cheese bowl which was phenomenal. My husband got the rigatoni with short rib which was also good! We both enjoyed our dishes with a glass of montepulciano wine. We concluded the meal with the gelato which was just okay- nothing special. Should have tried the cannolis instead! I was so excited for my leftovers the next day. This place is cute and they have free corkage on a certain day during the week which would definitely be worth going back for!

Curt T.

Yelp
This review is mostly just for the gnocchi. The pesto and the shrimp in the gnocchi was spectacular. Very good and delicious. However the gnocchi itself was a bit mushy in texture and just didn't hit the mark for me. I like my gnocchi soft, billowy and more fluffy and this was kinda mushy. Although the flavor was there it was the texture. The spaghetti carbonara was very delicious. One of the best carbonaras I've had.. The meatballs and the burrata also were very good. The customer service also was good. Again. If it wasn't for the texture of the gnocchi I would have given 4 stars but I am big on gnocchi and I've tried many of the gnocchi in San Diego and for that I took off one star. I'd totally eat here again just probably wouldn't get my favorite Italian dish ever which is gnocchi.

KayAnna A.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Italian in PB! Make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you can be seated as they get busy quickly. Decently easy to find street parking. Plenty of half indoor and mostly outdoor seating. Our server was very quiet but attentive and kind. We definitely enjoyed our time here! We started out with their complimentary bread w/cheese "filling" and EVOO balsamic vinaigrette/red pepper flakes for dipping sauce. The bread was fresh and warm and the EVOO was perfect. My friends and I split our entire meal so we shared the Mista salad, Spaghetti Romano, and the Orecchiette Bosco. The Spaghetti Romano was hands down the best choice and all of our favorites. The burrata in the pesto cream and cheese nest was absolute heaven. Would go here again and again just for this dish alone. Fair warning, it is quite heavy to eat so definitely split with someone or be prepared to take a box home. The Orecchiette Bosco was perfectly Al dente and the Italian sausage in the creamy tomato sauce was yummy. Great overall but doesn't beat the Spaghetti Romano. The Mista salad was fresh, but nothing special. Try the Spaghetti Romano, you won't regret it!

Jay G.

Yelp
I'd give this gorgeous restaurant six stars if I could! As close as you can get to actual Italy. The laid-back, welcoming ambience, awesome staff, family-friendly vibe, and seriously good, unpretentious food make it an all round winner. We had complimentary bread first, served with a balsamic & olive oil dipping mixture. Then the bruschetta with delicious tomatoes, and burrata, which is incredibly fresh and light. My husband had the rigatoni porcini, which he loved, and I had the delicious papardelle bolognese, which was so big I could only eat half my portion. Leftovers will be amazing! We were both too full to eat dessert, but had been thinking about the lemon cake and the tiramisu. Next time...

Saleen D.

Yelp
I highly recommend this Italian restaurant! The ambiance is amazing & the food is incredible. Located near the outskirts of PB. The restaurant has seating inside as well as outside. & the outside has string lights & roses, perfect for a date night. Service was friendly & quick! Complimentary Cheese Bread:

Ashley W.

Yelp
Feel- this place is super cute, especially with the outdoor seating, string lights, and cozy ambiance. I'd definitely suggest getting a reservation since the line started piling up while we were on our way out. Service- amazing and relatively fast regardless of how busy it was. Food- I personally ordered the special, which was a spinach-infused cavatelli with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes in a parmesean sauce. The pasta itself was pretty good, though I would occasionally get somewhat salty bites (a minor complaint). The portion size was perfect, and I was happy with my order. My mother ordered the lobster ravioli, which like others have said, was a pretty small portion. I'm sure the sauce was rich enough to make up for it, but a few more raviolis would have been nice. Our drive to Little Italy is quite taxing, so a local place like this is greatly appreciated. It's worth a try!

Selena R.

Yelp
Our first dinner for a short trip to San Diego. It had a small special dreamy vibe to it. The Adima pasta soup was so delicious, full of fresh veggie and pasta flavor! It was so simple but full of flavor. We ordered a variety among us and the stand out were the pork chops. The most tender almost melt in your mouth delish! Saving for future trips back.

Jamee S.

Yelp
Lovely setting with outdoor seating. Ambience has dim lighting and makes you feel like you're in Italy. Service is warm and friendly. They were able to seat us right away without a reservation. (Thank goodness!) We were served delicious warm cheesy bread. Food arrived quickly and they are huge portions! We ordered: Spinach Salad Spaghetti Carbonara - cooked the correct way with only eggs and cheese. No cream! Spaghetti Romano - It's like a combination of Alfredo and pesto sauce, and served in a fried cheese bowl. Pappardelle Bolognese The servings are huge and rich. We took home half of all our pasta dishes.

Carl N.

Yelp
The absolute best Italian food n SD. I was amazed at the service n food. I'm a lifer I don't have anything else to brag about this restaurant

Josh M.

Yelp
The best thing about this place...you know what you're going for to get. In all the best ways! Very straightforward menu. Recommend the lasagna which was a special that day. The soup with sausage in it...amazing. Highly recommend. All the wines are pretty fairly priced and the ones we tried were great! We will definitely be back. Sit outside. Inside looks a little tight.

Matt M.

Yelp
Quite neighborhood restaurant with amazing Italian food and a very chill vibe. Definitely try the artichoke appetizer!

Cicely R.

Yelp
Delicious house made pasta. Enjoyed the Bolognese. Nice place to take friends from out of town. Service, food perfect.

Linda D.

Yelp
What a great evening at Enoteca Adriano! Annual B'day party for Pam was, again, a huge success! Barb, our server, and the crew were extraordinary,as usual, and the food delicious! Chef Giuseppe came out to wish Pam a happy birthday and visit with us. Just a fantastic evening with good friends at a neighborhood gem of an eatery! Can't wait for our next visit! Graci! Enoteca!

Hannah N.

Yelp
After living in pacific beach for years I had driven past this spot so many times and never seemed to make it in but it was finally the day to check it when a friend and I decided to do a girls night and treat ourselves to dinner. It was a rainy night in pacific beach but we were so excited to enjoy a nice dinner before the storm came in. They start you off with complimentary bread that was filled with melty cheese with olive oil and vinegar and it was so good we had to stop ourselves from eating it all before we even ordered dinner. We decided to share a bottle of wine and go straight into entrees because we were excited to try two of the dishes. The fish special was a sea bass in a lobster cream sauce with black squid ink noodles it was sooo delicious and perfectly cooked. The pasta was also amazing and both were dishes that were perfect to share as they are both on the larger side and we were full after all the bread we had. The service was pretty quick and super friendly I wish I remembered the name of our server but he was very kind and helpful and knew the menu very well which I always love. I can not wait to go back and try more because everything on the menu really did sound amazing!

Nancy L.

Yelp
The food is wonderful and service good as well. All seating is outside. The ambiance pleasant.

Jason W.

Yelp
Great local restaurant but not a great restaurant. Food was good and busy but could have been better. Why is it so hard to find terrific Italian food?

Raymond A.

Yelp
When I want that feel of a home cooked meal, this is my go to for takeout. I need to try more tasty items, I'm currently stuck on the Pappardelle Bolognese & Pollo Piccata, the Anima soup is really good!! I also love the desserts!! The cheesecake and Popes Pillow are very good!! Staff is accommodating, professional and everything wonderful. I look forward to my next visit.

Mara M.

Yelp
Another delightful visit to Enoteca Adriano! This has become our go-to Italian spot and we bring everyone here when they visit. It's always a hit! Great ambience, fast and friendly service, delicious food and extensive drink options. This time, we had the orecchiette, rigatoni funghi, chicken piccata, and a pasta special - ravioli funghi. We finished the meal up with the tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake. Nothing was less than perfect, as always!

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Serendipity struck and we treated ourselves to a marvelous dining experience. I was filled with gratitude at the end of the meal for the wonderful food and hospitality. I started with had the Caprese Mozza and it was well, perfect. Every bite was rich and filled with flavor. I followed it with a pasta dish I will never forget, Spaghetti Romano. It was the best pasta dish I've ever ate, it was Sabroso! On to the bread, did I tell you about the bread? I ate so much bread I had to take half of my pasta back to the hotel. My friend had soup and salad and she raved about the flavors. The service was outstanding. This is a lovely modern Italian restaurant. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food, service, and ambiance. This was the best meal we had all vacation.

Peace U.

Yelp
Great spot if you're in the mood for high quality rich Italian food! Convenient location and great service!

Sid S.

Yelp
There were four in our party and we arrived on Tuesday evening on time for an early-evening reservation.Seated immediately on the front patio,we enjoyed watching people passing by walking their furry friends. Three of us had Lobster Ravioli with shrimp in Vodka sauce. It was perfectly prepared and delicious! The other member had rigatoni in a mushroom sauce and loved it! The service was very good, servers were attentive and professional. The outside side and front patios were comfortable. The noise level was moderate ( we could carry on conversation). The patio is pet friendly and some folks brought their dogs. A nice feature was the foreign film.An old Sophia Loren flick projected on the wall like they do in Amalfi Coast bistros. All in all it was an enjoyable night!

Kaitlyn H.

Yelp
We recently celebrated a family member's birthday at this restaurant, which he loves. Thankfully, we had a reservation because there was a wait when we arrived. The appetizers and drinks came out quickly, and we were impressed by the specials of the night--they were amazing! Although the Pope's Pillow on the dessert menu was a bit too sweet for our taste, the tiramisu was phenomenal. The servers are always friendly and chatty, adding to the great dining experience. We sat on the patio, which is nicely enclosed from the street with rows of bushes and small trees, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a great night out!

Monster L.

Yelp
A client recommended this restaurant, so I checked it out with a companion based on that. The location and ambiance are fine but what was lacking was the service and food. Regarding the former, our waitress introduced herself within a few minutes of our seating but then disappeared for approximately 20 or so minutes. As such, we were left twiddling our thumbs waiting to place our orders until I brought it to the attention of the hostess. That's strike one. Strike two was the food. While there's no real complaint to be made about the taste, texture, temperature, or other stuff, there's plenty to be said about the portion size. When dining at well-to-do eateries that serve small portions, the food is usually made in such a way that it's filling despite the size. That wasn't the case here. The number of ravioli served wasn't many and they were wont of filling. Given these two things, I have to rank this restaurant toward the bottom of Italian restaurants I've dined at in San Diego thus far.

Tina M.

Yelp
Wonderful food , and atmosphere, made all the better by having Ada as our server! She knows her wine and everything else on the menu! Loved every minute she came to the table. Ask for her on your next visit in.

Danielle C.

Yelp
This is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant! We've been coming for years for the fresh pasta and awesome feel you just get being there.

Caroline R.

Yelp
Enoteca is always delicious! A PB neighborhood favorite. It is quality Italian without being overpriced or stuffy. Cute atmosphere - they often play movies on a projector outside! Personal favorites are the orecchiette bosco and the carbonara!

Debbie B.

Yelp
Excellent food and on certain nights you get a pretty good deal bringing your own wine

dean g.

Yelp
Finally was able to stop by for dinner here. Short wait but worth it as the spot is cute and romantic vibes. I started with a salad and it was tasty but small portion. So ordered a pasta dish and it was large and tasty! Only thing I'd like to see is more vegetarian options. :)

Gale R.

Yelp
The meal begins with their wonderfully warm and slightly cheesy complementary crusty bread and EVO/balsamic dipping sauce. This bread is not only delicious but an important tool in successful mopping up of main course sauces later in your meal. Enoteca has Wonderful burrata combinations! In addition to a daily specials, the standby Burrata Enoteca includes the soft luxurious burrata wrapped in prosciutto, paired with fig jam on a bed of arugula with heirloom tomatoes. Plenty to share with two or even four people. This delicious burrata has set the standard for the best burrata in town. Their spinach salad is delicious and also perfect for sharing. My other favorite dish is the Sea-bass with the neri linguine and the lobster sauce! It is truly one of the finest prepared fish in San Diego! The sear of the sea bass locks in the succulent flavors. The pasta pairing and the sauce is to die for! They also have wonderful gnocchi dishes. The Orecchiette Bosco is my son's favorite dish with Italian sausage. I have also enjoyed theirPappardelle Bolognese. If you have enough room for dessert, their cannolis are solid as is their Popes pillow. They have a comprehensive wine list and a reasonable corking fee. Service is attentive and their Ambience is Italian charm especially with more post Covid Al fresco dining.

Yelp
Great little Italian restaurant in PB! Known for great pasta and fresh seafood. Busy spot, so call them directly for a reservation (they don't use any of the Apps). House Bread 5/5: served warm with balsamic/olive oil for dipping. Bread was mouthwatering. Bruschetta 4/5: tasty bread. The honey ricotta was a nice addition. Wasn't the best bruschetta though. I'd try the Burrata instead. Rigatoni Costine Corte 4/5: braised beef short ribs Ragu. This was good. Ravioli Rossi 5/5: AMAZING. Order this! Lobster ravioli with tiger shrimp all in this amazing creamy sauce. Soooo fresh and flavorful. Food and service were great! I would definitely come back to Enoteca Adriano. Very affordable and great quality.
