The Chicago Burger Delivery Guide

"Acadia is an upscale South Loop restaurant with a seven-course tasting menu that is 100% available for carryout and delivery. So what the hell are we talking about it here for? Because they serve an excellent burger (with gruyere, bacon onion jam, and a truffle mornay) and you can get it for curbside pickup and delivery." - adrian kane

Where to Order Easter Meals for Takeout and Delivery in Chicago

"Two Michelin-starred South Loop restaurant Acadia has a few luscious Easter dinner options: The first includes a queen-cut prime rib (au jus, horseradish cream) with dauphinois potatoes, heirloom root vegetables, English peas, foie gras butter, and Parker House rolls for $45. The other highlights a lobster pot pie for two ($95) with two whole butter-poached Maine lobsters, roasted fingerling and whipped potatoes, pearl onions, baby carrots, sour creamy pastry, smoked whitefish roe, and lobster bisque. If there’s any remaining room, end on a sweet note with white coconut cake ($12). Order online while supplies last." - Naomi Waxman

Great place to pick up dinner and go home to relax! I've picked up and prepared a few meals now, and they have all been tasty. The icing is the Playlist that comes with the entrée.

I have ordered delivery multiple times. Food quality has been outstanding, and since you heat everything at home, hot food is hot and cold food is cold when you're ready to enjoy - no more tepid restaurant delivery. Portions often appear smaller than they actually are, do not be dissuaded. Flavors are well developed and pasta dishes in particular are always winners with these folks.

We order from here usually once a week and even though we’re pescatarian we can usually find at least one or two good options for dinner. We’ve ordered the Nonna Rossa multiple times. The chocolate chip cookies are the best cookies I’ve ever eaten. It takes like no time to put the meals together, and it’s so easy to get some wine or a good cocktail with your order. I love the idea and it’s great to not have to buy a bunch of ingredients to make a meal at home.

My apartment just installed an Entree Ourpost, a “grab & go” version of their brick & mortar! They came to the apartment and did a tasting and explained everything. My boyfriend and I purchased the “Savoir” meal & it was INCREDIBLE. I don’t even feel the need to comment much on how easy it all was because that’s the whole point of the service but it really was THAT easy. Bags in the microwave, plate it, done! The meat was SO tender, the truffle potatoes were so flavorful. There was a beautiful balance of savory and a slight sweetness! Just honestly amazing!! Can’t wait to try more! Also, at the tasting we tried the roast chicken, Brussels & broccoli salad & both the carrot and chocolate cakes and everything was just incredible!!!

Wife and I order pretty frequently. Amazing alternative to things like Uber Eats--always end up being less money and higher quality. We'll order when we want a special occasion dinner but are too tired (or don't want!) to go out. Can't recommend highly enough!

Google
Today, Entree was giving out free samples of 4 of their desserts (chocolate chip cookies, vanilla butter cake, chocolate cake, olive oil torte). While I am sure that the other desserts are very good, I am glad I chose the olive oil torte. It was simply amazing! There was white chocolate mousse with apricot coulis, pralines and pistachios. The white chocolate mousse with cardamom and pistachios was reminiscent of an Indian dessert, white and fluffy like a cloud. Very sophisticated.

Love Entree. The food, the drinks, the desserts and the service are all amazing. On top of it all, they include a custom Spotify playlist for each meal which makes it a great experience. They recently started doing breakfasts and we love the breakfast pizza also.

Google
Amazing, high-quality food and even better customer service! This place is a gem within the South Loop, perfect for at-home date nights, a delicious weeknight dinner, or for having friends over to prepare dinner together. Highly, highly recommend supporting this delightful small business! Can’t wait to keep trying all their fabulous entrees, sides and desserts.

Yelp
My building installed an outpost recently so I gave it a try. Have only tried the vodka pasta. I was very surprised by how flavorful it was. Pros -food was fresh and tasted good -meal prep times were accurate -very easy to follow instructions -the packaging is well done and minimal -convenient -free delivery was main plus for me Cons -I would have appreciated some indication of spice level. The vodka pasta was only described as, "creamy," and "family friendly." I think it would be too spicy for most younger kids. -would love kid friendly options -portion sizes on the smaller size. A little bit of a stretch to say it's for 2 people. I ordered a few meals for the end of the week to be delivered and can report back.

Yelp
Nice and easy pickup at our building. Choices are sometimes limited but when available pretty tasty!

Yelp
We went to visit some friends in Chicago and they recommended giving this a try since we knew we would be out and about a lot that weekend and ordering in and having some wine just sounded nice and chill for an otherwise scheduled weekend. The meals arrived cold and they provide heating instructions that are very detailed. I loved that the box came with a note about the chef who designed this meal; it was a chef from The French Laundry! You have a personal concierge to call and ask any questions you may have about your meal. We each ordered the steak and cut it in half to split with our spouses because they are good sized steaks. The potatoes were a STAR of the meal... The meat was well-seasoned and very tender. It was such a nice concept and a really elevated take-out experience that was a bit beyond typical takeout and somewhere above a HelloFresh type situation. So cool - wish we had something like this in STL!

Yelp
I paid $40 for slop. Two servings of mushy, tasteless "prosto pasta" went into the garbage tonight. A waste. This "gourmet" experience left much to be desired. Save your time and money and avoid the "Entree Experience".

Yelp
so overpriced for what it was- the packaging looked cool, but for the price you could order in from a fancy steakhouse. My friend had a free sample so we ate it. it reminds me of Hello Fresh, but trying to be more..

Yelp
We've had Tosa, Nonna Rossa, Artusi-the Bolognese, and the Breakfast Pizza! All the food is delicious- exceptionally good. The Bolognese takes like 8 min to prep and the sauce takes you back to Italy. The pasta a freshly made and perfect. Mmmm.... The pork in Tosa is so tender and delicious it melts in your mouth. The Breakfast Pizza is very unique and addictive (ps it's the bacon jam, and the combo of meat/cheese) Leftovers have been great all week. Delivery and communication is very easy and the prices are very reasonable! PS: Get the malted chocolate cake and chocolate peanut butter pie! Both are so good. Given the choice, the pie is mind blowingly good.

Yelp
Jason called me directly to settle an issue I was having and couldn't be kinder or more helpful. The food is always timely and homey. Happy to continue ordering and trying all their new menu items!

Yelp
Great concept. I hope they can socialize their presence enough outside of Facebook. I'm not a user and when I've walked by they have been closed. they get 4 stars because the one box we bought was great
