Every Erewhon Los Angeles Location, Ranked

"The Beverly Hills location should be rebranded as the Official Erewhon Gift Shop™ because it’s packed with tourists looking for LA keepsakes. You may hear ten different languages when you walk in, but everyone shares a common desire to spend money on random sh*t. Families of five swarm the drinks aisle to debate the difference between sparkling tonic and sparkling probiotic, crowds from the smoothie bar often almost spill out the front door, and it’s nearly impossible to get a seat on the busy patio. If you're easily claustrophobic, do not come here. After you park in the public structure next door (where the first two hours are free), the elevator spits you out directly into the community of impatient smoothie drinkers. They offer high quality products and are a bit pricey. The corner where you can cater cooked food like Whole Foods was the most popular, and the bakery and drink corners were also crowded and popular. The staff worked hard to display the products neatly. The staff who took food orders and the cashiers responded very quickly and kindly when taking orders and paying for items. Even in a busy situation with customers, there was not much waiting time, so there was no inconvenience. The items were organized so that they could be easily grabbed and went, saving time while shopping. The food was very tasty, and the bakery was also very tasty.

Erewhon is super clean and tidy, even with the constant crowd in the middle of Beverly Hills. I had the Hailey Bieber strawberry smoothie, honestly worth $20, it was that good. The hot bar staff were great and let me sample a few things. I ended up getting the buffalo cauliflower wings delicious! I didn’t like the noodles or the mac and cheese, though.

Erewhon is an absolute dream for anyone eating gluten-free — especially if you have celiac disease, like I do. I had no symptoms at all after eating here, and I felt completely safe with the food choices. We visited the Erewhon location near the shopping district in Los Angeles Beverly Hills, but there are several other stores across the city, including popular ones in Venice, Silver Lake, and Santa Monica. Erewhon is more than just a supermarket — it’s a high-end organic grocery store with a fantastic hot food bar, smoothie & tonic bar, and a wide variety of pre-packaged meals, many of which are clearly labeled gluten-free. I picked up a Sushi ORG Spicy Sandwich (GF) from the refrigerated section. It was a standout! Ingredients included: Organic cucumber, avocado, wild tuna, real crab, wild salmon, ginger, wasabi, organic nori, and organic white/brown rice (fried in non-GMO avocado oil). The sauce was a mix of organic sriracha, chili oil, sesame oil, sea salt, black pepper, vegenaise, allulose, and teriyaki — and it was delicious. Even the soy sauce provided was gluten-free, which is rare and much appreciated! It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality is outstanding and the range of healthy, GF, and organic options is impressive. There are some outdoor seats available, but they’re limited and people usually don’t linger — it’s more of a “grab-and-go” lunch spot, and it can get quite busy around midday. If you’re gluten-free in LA, Erewhon is absolutely worth a visit — safe, high-quality food, and a great selection for people with dietary needs.

We visited Erewhon specifically to indulge in the "Hailey Beiber" Smoothie. I personally found the smoothie tasty, but at $20. it seemed overpriced. Saturday afternoon, the store was extremely busy but also surprisingly clean. There was no clear indication of how to place or retrieve your order. I ended up placing an order with a woman from a kiosk near the line for ordering. Maybe the chaos is meant to add to the charm; but it seems a clear process or signage would allow for quicker and more organized ability to obtain the much-coveted Beiber smoothie. There was signage on the tables outside to ensure no one lollygags too long during peak hours. The smoothie was good enough as a viral phenomenon. And at 48 grams of sugar, once was enough for me. A final fun fact - Erewhon backwards is "No Where" .. which almost is enough of a fun twist for me to visit again!

Google
Well stocked, great location, fast service, huge selection compared to other Erewhons, fresh prepared food is the best here. Nuts are super fresh, cauliflower is chef's kiss, smoothies are incredible.

Google
Went for smoothie obviously(if u know the TikTok trend). Did like the fact that layout was so good, wanted to buy everything but hey we ain’t paying overpriced products for what should be a basic quality of products, but not Erewhon fault, smoothie was good. Food was fresh. N all the employees did makeup n everything, it’s like models working part time. Crazy to see. Got granola yogurt (I got tempted n got it lol I don’t even like granola yogurt ) , also got a bag for $50 🤣😭so yeah.

Wow the quality of food at this place is amazing the prices are high but you playing for freshness and quality 180 aud for just what I got there not bad But still Wow, the quality of food at this place is amazing! The prices are high, but you’re paying for freshness and quality. For what I got, it was 180 AUD, which isn’t bad. I would definitely come back. I would come back

Google
Erewhon Beverly Hills is undoubtedly top-tier when it comes to organic and health-conscious products, but the prices are borderline ridiculous. An $18 smoothie? A $40 lunch? The quality is great, but this place feels more like a luxury wellness showroom than a grocery store. Sure, you might spot a celebrity, and the aesthetic is beautiful, but if you’re doing your weekly shopping here, do you not feel bad for your wallet? If you’re just stopping by for a trendy smoothie, it’s an interesting experience. But to shop here regularly, you either need to be a Hollywood A-lister or so wealthy that you don’t care about prices. Does healthy living have to be this expensive? According to Erewhon, yes.

Yelp
The Beverly Hills location of Erewhon is especially crazy and almost always way too busy. Perhaps people are hoping to catch a glimpse of a celebrity. It does feel as though that Erewhon is slowly losing some of its initial appeal as a boutique grocery store and is just turning more and more into a Walmart for the rich. If you haven't heard of Erewhon yet you may be living under a rock. Erewhon is so on brand with a certain LA stereotype, haling itself as the grocery designer store. Forget keeping up with the Joneses; we're here to clobber them. When you go inside, you are transported into a different world. The smell of a higher tax bracket is in the air, mixed with candles of unicorns and aura crystals. They've definitely elevated the ordinary grocery store experience to something; don't want to be confused and mixed up with the poors and too-commercial whole foods shoppers, you know? Depending on when you go, anywhere between 10 and 50 percent of shoppers are just there for the food court, mostly to have the honor to have their lips blessed by those bougie $20+ smoothies. If you went to Erewhon and didn't get a Hailey Bieber smoothie, did you even go? Jokes on us because they have such strong brand recognition, they are probably charging their suppliers an inclusion fee to proudly list them as part of the ingredients. Not many can boast the same level of cultural cachet. The staff is extremely friendly and likely underwent intense training which surely prepared them to masterfully deal with any do-you-know-who-I-am Karen and diffuse the situation by assuring them they are indeed the most important person in the world. As a bonus, you'll get to practice your valley girl accent, like oh my god like literally no joke, I'm so dead right now... So you may be asking if those smoothies are worth the exorbitant prices but that would be the wrong question. Going back to the analogy with designer brands - many charge not based on how much it costs to make the garment but what the market would bear; the price is not so much a byproduct of the means of production but the main deterrent helping to weed out the other in order to form the it crowd (some may call it the fan base, others a cult). So when someone is rocking the $150+ Erewhon tote bag, it's not because they thought it cost more than $15 to produce but because having it is used a signal to others about their status and values.

Yelp
Well of course I had to follow the TikTok trend and had to come and see what this place was talking about. Flew into LA and wasn't going to be here long, but knew Erewhon had to be a stop during my short stay. This place is just wow! I mean the produce section is like no other. I'm convinced the west coast has the best fruit compared to the south. Service was prompt considering the amount of people in line to order smoothies or foot from the hot/cold bar. I will give you a heads up that if you're new here and not expecting to spend a lot at a grocery store, walk right back out. You can't come here and get 1 thing. You've got to try it all. Don't forget to grab your Hailey B smoothie before you head out. This has to be one of THE BEST smoothies I've tasted. I need the recipe stat.

Yelp
Erewhon Beverly is truly an exceptional market! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how neat and organized everything was. The clean, well-stocked shelves and high-quality selections really stood out. It's definitely a high-end grocery store, but worth every bit for the experience and the amazing products they offer. I had a fantastic carne asada lunch that was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. And I couldn't resist trying the famous Hailey Bieber smoothie - it was beyond this world! Creamy, delicious, and unlike any smoothie I've had before. If you're looking for top-notch groceries, a great prepared food selection, and some unique treats, Erewhon Beverly is definitely a place to try!

Yelp
This is a store where you can find anything to cook or ready to eat. We come every time we are here. I found sweets that satisfies me and that are not to bad. They have many options for all type of diets. They make fresh and hot food every day. They have smoothies and bakery, pizza, noodles, Mac and cheese and many more. It is pricey. But when you get satisfied you don't think about that. The place it's always very busy. People come in and out and they have seating outside. I just come and get my dessert and vámonos!! lol! Sometimes we get pizza. The sauce it's pretty good and the cheese yum cheese. They use the good ingredients thinking about your health always. That is why it's pretty pricey.

Yelp
I came here for the hyped up Hailey Bieber strawberry glaze smoothie. It was good. Like really, really good. But was it worth $20? Not sure... but again it was some of the best smoothie I've had in a while.

Yelp
Flew all the way from IL to try the Hailey Bieber pink drink & holy moly, it's pricy but delicious. The wait to order went by super fast however, we waited approximately 25-35 minutes for our drinks. It's really packed inside especially where people are waiting for their drink order.

Yelp
So I could not come to LA and not make a stop at the famous Erewhon. The cashier was very helpful because there are so many choices and this can be quite overwhelming. I ordered the Hailey Beiber smoothie and it was delicious. A little pricey however in LA why not. It was packed with ingredients and very filling. I mean I was full for awhile. It did get a little crowded but they were moving.
google avatar

Yelp
I mean... they were good + all natural ingredients with lots of benefits but for $43... I would rather spend on something else

Yelp
Finally, got to try the famous Hailey Bieber smoothie! I still can't get over the price for the $20 smoothie but it is for the experience. I was able to park near The Grove and just walk over. This grocery store was very busy for a weekday mid-day! I wanted to try the other food out but I would have to come back another time I come back. The service was alright. I just ordered and waited in line for my drink. I saw that they made a bulk of the Hailey Bieber smoother because so many people ordered it. I wish I could try more food but I couldn't justify paying for everything after looking at the price. The smoothie itself was pretty good. It tasted very refreshing and tasted as if it had actual fruit compared to the syrup that is usually put in. I would say there is nothing particularly outstanding about this smoothie, other than how fresh it was. I am glad I was able to try it out since I've been seeing it everywhere. I wouldn't get it again for the price but maybe in the future I would try out the other smoothies that they have. I would still say this place is worth a try!

Yelp
Erewhon, nestled in the chic area of Beverly Hills near Rodeo Drive, is an upscale grocery store that stands out for its curated selection and luxurious ambiance. I dropped by during lunch time, and the place was buzzing with activity. The lines for smoothies and hot foods were notably long, with the Hailey Bieber smoothie drawing a lot of attention. Product Range and Pricing: Erewhon offers a diverse array of products, ranging from pantry staples to skincare items. While some products are priced higher than what you'd find at a typical grocery store, I found that not everything is exorbitantly priced. For instance, I bought 5 eco-friendly sponge cloths for $5, which is quite reasonable. The store's private-label items are intriguing and varied, including everything from packaged foods to personal care products. Store Atmosphere: The store's layout and presentation are impeccable. Every product seems thoughtfully placed, contributing to a visually appealing and organized shopping experience. The displays are not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing, making shopping here a bit of an experience . Shopping Experience: Erewhon is not your go-to for everyday grocery shopping if you're budget-conscious, but it's definitely a treat for those who enjoy exploring high-quality and unique products. The ambiance and product variety make it a compelling stop, especially if you're visiting Los Angeles.

Yelp
I love erewhon. But I think it's wrong for the store not to accommodate allergies by allowing people to modify their influencer drinks. I'm allergic to coconut and almost all of them have coconut cream and when I asked for it to be left off, I was told they aren't allowed to modify influencer drinks at all.
google avatar

Yelp
bright grocery store off rodeo drive prices are expensive for the things are. though there are a few niche things that you cant find at other places. if youre in the nutrition section you really have to kno what herb you want as there are absolutely no descriptions for the items. it just tells you what it is, not what it does. line for the coffee/smoothie side was long. but the other hot food lines were empty for the most part. so many tasty looking choices it was hard to decide. when i got to the front i was going to pick a quiche, but then they put a new chefs special toast out, so i got that instead since it looked good. ended up being basically like a lox bagel, but on toast. there was even a hidden avocado under the salmon. overall it was tasty. wouldve been tastier if it had been warmed. bread was ok. crust was soo sooo hard, but the middle parts were softer decent amount of tables and chairs outside and under cover so you can enjoy your food. good experience. great spot to grab a small breakfast if youre in that area.

Yelp
Arrived at a busy time, first mistake. Hard to find a seat outside but did. Food was good, more than I needed. Chicken nice and moist but was not hot or warm. I was not about to stand in line again to ask for another piece. Overall it's too many people ordering at the same time. Should be less so you can see the choice for a novice like me. This place did not leave an impression to go back. The people were not very helpful or attentive at the register. Kinda odd I thought. Ambiance inside pretty non existent. The African American guy cleaning the tables outside was really nice and talkative to guests. Seemed to be the only one acknowledging guests.

Yelp
There were SO many people in this erewhon! We waited 25 minutes for our three smoothies, and they tasted absolutely disgusting!! I've had smoothies from other erewhons that have tasted so much better than this one! It feels like they rushed through our smoothies, and the proportions of the ingredients were off! The erewhon itself was also pretty small and didn't have much stuff.
google avatar

Trisha A.

Yelp
I stopped by here to try the infamous Hailey Bieber skin smoothie. Not gonna lie, it was good but not an 'out of this world' smoothie. SF smoothies are already $10 so I could see this being $15, but $19 is a lot. I'm sure the sea moss costs a pretty penny so that probably ups the price too. The employees were all nice, the sushi looked good (but I didn't get any), and the store was busy overall. It feels like and is a true bougie grocery store haha
google avatar

Russ C.

Yelp
This store is clean, well organized, pleasantly staffed, good variety of cooked foods ready to eat! Been here many times and always well received! Some stuff is overpriced, but they have it all here. Open till 10pm weekdays in Beverly Blvd. I've had delicious Chicken soup, Turkey sandwich, roasted chicken with potatoes and other organic stuff. Patio seating available to take a nice break or just put up your feet. Ample public parking next door. Only moments away from Rodeo Drive.

Yelp
Everything is so aesthetically pleasing! But sheeeesh this place is constantly busy. Literally doesn't matter what time I go, tooo many people. I get it, everyone wants to check one the super expensive, boujie grocery store. Their hot foods look delicious, I hear they are really good. I got some sushi one day, solid. Just expensive for grocery store sushi. Of course I had to try these wild smoothies everyone talks about. Expensive for no reason? I think so I got the green goddess, tastes earthy and healthy. Seems like tons of people get the Hailey Bieber smoothie, literally saw a whole family of 4 get one each. I got my friend the energy elixir, that was really good too!
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
The store is tucked away in a very busy shopping center. Parking is available both in front and in the public parking structure. I opted to get a few items while I was out here but was a bit disappointed to find these items were not exclusive to Erewhon and were much more affordable elsewhere. The entrance was very busy due to the customers waiting to pick up their drinks from the cold bar. Most of the items in the store were well-stocked and neatly labeled.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
I got the strawberry glaze smoothie and it was good! I liked that it wasn't too sweet and I liked the flavor. However, the store in general was very chaotic and the ordering process was a bit unclear. We also had to wait a while for our drinks.
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
Very busy place, was the Hailey Beiever shake worth it!? I also got the blue coconut cloud with my friend, I would buy both of them again!! It was SERIOUSLY PACKED with so many flavors and it tasted so healthy. The Hailey shake was very sweet, it's still enjoyable but if you don't like too sweet, it might not be for you. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Definitely worth trying and getting again.
google avatar

Jooa Eun K.

Yelp
The Hailey Bieber smoothie at this location is better than some of the other locations I've tried! Other Erewhons smoothies are either not sweet enough, or too liquid-y, but this location does it pretty well. Definitely a smaller Erewhon, though.

Yelp
Like most people who do come here but don't live in the area, I can honestly say my visit was just for the experience. I dont think erewhon would be a lifestyle choice even if I lived in the area. I came here with a sibling to try out what this market has to offer. It offered $10 gummy candy, $50 half dozen roses, and long lines. And thats not the worse of it. Its near rodeo drive so its a busy area and parking can be a stretch finding. The market wasn't as big as I thought it would be, but it is visually appealing and organized. However, I would be kicking myself trying to get ingredients to cook from scratch here. Its probably better to get their ready to heat and eat meals, but expect to pay 15-20$ for a serving of those. We walked the market and wanted to buy snacks. At first I was going to get the mushroom jerky and cheese crisps but I put those back since I could get those at any market. My sister wanted to try a bag of gummies so we did get that. It was normal tasting. Then we got in line to order the food and a smoothie to try. The employee that scooped my food was nice and friendly to me. I ended up getting the salmon with some broccoli and mac and cheese. My sister got the Korean short ribs, the avocado kale salad and the Buffalo cauliflower. Those 2 plates plus the Hailey Bieber smoothie came out to $85. Here is when service became less than expected. Sandra S. was the cashier who rang us up. While my payment was processing, I asked for a bag and she said they usually charge 20 cents for the bag but today she was going to give it to me for free. I did say thank you and meant it until she told us to move out of the way before even handing us the free bag. Lol very unnecessary. She started ringing the next person right away and I realized she didn't give us a receipt so I asked for one. She looked at me and told me you don't really need one while handing a receipt to the next customer that she was helping. What the heck is her issue? I've never had an employee of any business tell me i don't need a receipt and if thats the case, please save paper and give no receipt to anyone. So silly. I would have rather pay for the bag if I knew getting a bag for free came with an attitude. Lol my goodness. Even the employees at LV around the corner were nicer. The other issue is watching some of the employees making smoothies roll their eyes and make fun of customers. There were a lot of people waiting for their smoothies, but their system of handing out the drinks was to call out names. So some employees are quiet and others are louder when calling out names. Combine that with a long wait and you get customers who come up asking if their name has been called. I saw employees rolling their eyes twice and laughing with each other about customers. It's not necessary to be so snobby to customers paying your minimum wage. After getting the food my sister and I went over to the park to try the food. My honest verdict is I can make better salmon at home. The mac and cheese had a weird texture and their macaroni is overcooked. The broccoli tasted like vegan orange chicken. I tried my sister's kale salad and it was decent. The Buffalo cauliflower needed to be more crunchy. Despite these comments, the food had decent flavor and it did fill me up. The pink smoothie also had good flavor. It does taste like a strawberry banana smoothie but I tasted a bit of coconut too which elevated the taste. We only drank half of it though. The food gets a 3. The market gets a 2. The service gets a 2. Im rating this particular location a 2.4989. Some places are meant to be a one time thing and erewhon is one of them.

Yelp
Goodness. What a store. Everything is so beautifully displayed and so eye pleasing. And then you see the prices of everything. Oh boy. What do we get? I want to try everything. Teenage daughter tells me we MUST get the Hailey Beiber Smoothie. OMG, $18 for this smoothie. Um okay, I don't think we'll ever be in this area again anytime soon. And we're on vacation right? So I give the go ahead to order it. We each take a sip of this smoothie. It was so good. Nothing like any smoothie I've ever tasted before. What a marketing catch Erewhon, nice job. But $18 for one smoothie? I take a look at the ingredients. Oh okay, I can "kind of" see why this is $18. That was our one and done for this store. I can say we would be back for that very same smoothie in the future to be honest, tasted one of a kind actually. Erewhon seemed like a museum of grocery goodies, almost too pretty to buy anything. Very appealing and it felt very bougie to be in it...and I can see why there's excitement about it. Thankfully I still have my usual local Grocery Outlet & Trader Joe's to run to for cheap grocery needs and just treat Erewhon as a tourist attraction.
google avatar

Miriah S.

Yelp
Ah yes, it's the review that's been done a million times before. Erewhon is great, it's expensive, it's crowded, it's small. What really struck me was the friendliness of the staff running the hot food and tonic bar. Someone came out from behind the bar to ask if we had any questions. My bf thinks the guy was interested, but I'm gonna go with he's a worker that goes beyond the bare minimum lol. When ordering a smoothie, we were forgotten in the line for a couple minutes, but those peeps quickly corrected course and made sure we got our order in. My Hailey Beiber skin smoothie came out pretty quickly too. $18 to be associated with Hailey Bieber for 10 minutes. Not sure if that's a rip off or a steal. Minus a star because it was not the perfect experience I planned the visit to be. I was overwhelmed upon driving by, at the busyness, crowdedness, and multi-step parking process (park under ground, take a ticket, elevator up). I considered hitting up a local Gelson's instead, but I pushed through, because I had to do it for the Gram. Then to top off my anxieties, the cashier who rang up my 4 items for $60, and whose strength is NOT customer service, couldn't even crack a smile or be bothered to answer my simple questions without practically groaning. If you're not local, it's a fun tourist spot having a cultural moment, so go check it out. If this is your usual grocery store , you must be really energized by people and I envy you. Have fun!

Yelp
The interior was super small and aisles were very narrow. People in general were not very nice at this location and quite entitled. This sushi rice sandwich was not good at all. The flavoring was bland. The crispy rice served cold is not ideal. Filling was pretty mediocre and seafood was not particularly fresh. Would absolutely not get this again.

Annie M.

Yelp
Their dairy free ice cream is really good and so are most of the hot bar items. Smoothies are kinda mid
google avatar

Madeline C.

Yelp
Emma chamberlain soft serve was amazing. So worth it. The peanut butter and the crunch of the granola added unique elements to the soft serve with the matcha. Would definitely come back for this at any of the other erewhon locations. Flower selection was lacking when we went sadly which I love to see all the flowers there. 2 hour parking at this location is very generous but be sure to get it validated since we forgot and ended up just paying anyways.
google avatar

Trisha V.

Yelp
My friend Hanh has been dying to go here for months now and we finally set a date to go. Parking is free on the streets before noon and they also have a parking structure that offers validated parking. Such a cute and very clean place with tons of food and groceries and their hot foods section really caught my eye. We came for the smoothies of course but I just had to order something off their hot food section for breakfast. Everything looked delicious. She had to get the Hailey Bieber smoothie and loved it and would get it again. I got the Coconut Cloud which looked so beautiful to drink. It took awhile to make the smoothies so just be aware for the wait. I wanted to buy groceries but it would get ruined in the car because we were gonna explore the area afterwards. The breakfast sandwich I got was humongous and couldn't eat all of it at once, it was very heavy but delicious. Huge portions and very affordable. We got the inside scoop and found out they will be having a location in the OC area next year. Don't know the exact city but my friend is excited about it.

Yelp
Tried the viral Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie and it was 1000x better than I expected it to be. The listed ingredients in the smoothie are: almond milk, bananas, strawberries, avocado, dates, maple syrup, Vital Proteins vanilla collagen, vanilla stevia, sea moss, organic coconut creme, Driscoll's Organic Strawberry Glaze. I really thought this was going to be a regular strawberry - banana smoothie, but it tasted even better. The flavor is hard to describe because of how unique it is. I think the coconut creme is what really elevated the smoothie. I also got the viral Spicy Tuna Sandwich. Make sure to read the labels if you want the one with crab, because some have crab and some don't. The sandwich was super rich and there were too much ingredients going on in the sandwich. I think the spicy tuna and avocado on its own would have sufficed for a sandwich. I would definitely go back for the smoothie, but the sandwich is a skip for me. I would honestly get the smoothie more often if it wasn't so expensive! Definitely overpriced, but worth the try for the experience.

Yelp
Visiting Erewhon in Beverly Hills was a highlight of my LA trip. I had to try the famous Hailey Bieber smoothie. The place is great, and while the smoothie was good, it wasn't quite worth $20--it's more about the experience. Service was whatever. We also had a brownie, which was delicious. Sitting at Erewhon, enjoying my smoothie and brownie, was one of my favorite, most peaceful moments.

Yelp
A really refreshing and tasty lunch. The Kale White Bean Salad is a new fav of mine. Light, refreshing, and yet filling! Friend got the Spicy Tofu stick and it had an Asian sesame glaze with a nice kick to it. Gotta admit that Hailey Bieber smoothie really is great! Fruity, but not too sweet and goes down so smooth. Perfect for any sunny day! Friend and I stopped in for lunch and definitely forgot it was Golden Globes day across the street. So it was definitely packed. My drink got forgotten in the sea of orders, but understandably so with the packed crowd.

Yelp
What a nightmare. I was so excited to return to Erewhon on this trip to LA and I had a great experience at the Santa Monica location two years ago. AWFUL experience at this one. The hot bar employees are so incredibly rude (they seemed both understaffed yet not busy enough). We went around noon and I asked one of the hot bar employees if I could have a breakfast burrito, he looked so irritated and pointed to the fridge behind me and said I had to get one there and give it to him to warm up. I quickly grabbed it, but by the time I turned back around, he was helping someone else. Finally I flagged someone else down to help but it was a super uncomfortable experience and the burrito was still cold after the second person "warmed it up". Then we went to order smoothies at the other counter and they lost my friend's ticket, so we were waiting for about 20 minutes before finally asking. There were two teenaged girls in front of us who were asking the smoothie employee if he could split their smoothie into two cups. He said they could do it themselves, and then they said "We paid $20 for this smoothie, can you please just split it into two cups for us?". He replied with "You aren't paying for the smoothie, you're paying for the influencer status". So, so rude.

Yelp
Been wanting to come to Erewhon when in California and glad finally stopped it. Ordered a smoothing and it was so good. Flavors were just right. Once I had my smoothie I strolled around and spoke to Belen around the liquor area and she was awesome. Gave me some knowledge and background on the tequila that I ended up buying. Belen was great, made my first visit a non forgettable one. On the way out I grabbed some sushi and it was super fresh. Definitely coming back when I come into California again.

Yelp
Amazing shakes! Try "The Girls" shake, it's so so good! Also "Mint Chip Energizer". The food is amazing!! The place is beautiful and great for people that like healthy food and well being.

Yelp
I dropped by this Erewhon location recently. I like that they carry a variety of goods. Many things are pricey, but I understand that it's an upscale grocery store.

Yelp
Definitely lives up to the hype ; highest quality everything here. Touristy but who cares, it's just visual testimony to what a great shopping experience you'll have. Desserts, food, smoothies (they're $20), soups, sushi are ALL amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and eager to help. You'll feel the hospitality. They can get really busy but move everything along quickly without seeming rushed or stressed. You can tell everyone loves working here! Prices are high but the quality warrants the cha-ching when you hit the register. Just do it. Parking is super easy here, they are directly above public parking and they validate so it's usually free. Pro tip: Smoothies are BOMB.

Yelp
Just have to update this review for one item that was reallyyyy good. The last time I was in town they did not have babka. This time they did and I ate way too much of it. It was around $5 a slice which sure is expensive but justified. The chocolate was so fresh and high quality and it was a huge slice. Totally worth it if you ask me. Didn't even get much else was going strictly for my morning babka.

Yelp
Pricey, touristy, $100 for a tote bag, full of macrobiotic non-GMO organic etc etc etc, basically peak LA. And that's why we love it. This is a classic Erewhon location with all the things we've come to expect from Erewhon. It's well-designed and always crowded nowadays because it's viral but I can't lie, the froyo hits the spot (and it's ~only~ $12.50). The hot bar is also pretty fire. I always see random tik tokers/influencers at this location so if that's what you're after, this is a good spot. Parking is validated in the structure next door for 1-2 hours which is plenty of time to browse the shelves for sea moss gel and sphere ice, get your smoothie fix, then ponder why the heck you just spent $22 on one drink. But at least it's better than a drink from The Victorian.

Yelp
I am AMAZED at the empire that Erewhon has created since I first started shopping at their Fairfax and Beverly location back in the early 1990's! I had just returned from living in Osaka, Japan and I was so excited to find my favorite organic, Japanese ingredients at Erewhon. My friends and I could meet there for an amazing lunch, I could meet potential clients there, even my little Mama would request going there when she'd come down from Northern Cal. That store was the spot for what turned into so many incredible life memories over the next 20 years. Now fast forward to today. ALL OF THEIR new stores are just beautiful, but WOW, incredibly expensive. The joke used to be about Whole Foods being called "Whole Paycheck," but Erewhon is like this, times 10, lol! The average person would have to sell an organ to shop there, daily/weekly. Even with their pricey produce and beautiful products, I still enjoy going in and getting something from the fresh food deli. I appreciate their gluten-free options, and am glad they have the consideration to offer such to those of us who live with Celiac Disease.

Yelp
LOVED THE STRAWBERRY GLAZE SMOOTHIE. My friend and I ordered the strawberry glaze and the mango smoothies and they were both great considering we used EBT but def wouldn't pay for these on our own. It was about $38 for the two. Additionally, we got the tuna with crispy rice and that was delicious. It was too spicy for my friend but was a good level for me so if you're sensitive maybe skip on this item.

Yelp
Erewhon sure is happening. People just love to hang out here. I didn't know supermarket is the new hang out these days. Well, everything is nice and organized here as it should. Competition is on baby! Supermarkets are the place to be!! Thank you, Erewhon, just walking in, I feel healthier and lighter...lol.

Yelp
I was in Beverly Hills yesterday for my birthday and was delighted to see they opened an Erewhon on Beverly Drive with free 2 hour parking. It's a beautiful store and it's much bigger with wider aisles. I love all of the new seaweed chips! I also enjoyed looking at all of the custom juices that you can grab and go instead of waiting in line for them to make it. The check out was seamless with Apple Pay. I will be back soon! They should open an Erewhon in Newport Beach!!

Yelp
Ok relax social media. They have enough Hailey Bieber Smoothie's for everyone. Just came from a workout and came to pick up groceries only coz when I turned the corner I got parking straight away. I like all the healthy stuff here. This is Beverly Hills 2 seconds from Rodeo Drive on a Saturday afternoon so the smaller sized Erewhon is rammed. Tons of influencers creating content and tourists taking selfies which is fine. Nice to see everyone enjoying the warm weather and nice stroll thru Rodeo. In case you decide to do the same leave your pet at home. Unless they are service dogs they aren't allowed inside. I rucked up and met a nice worker who offered a sample of a Passion fruit fizzy drink which was lovely. The hot food line had a constant line that was moving fast and the food all looked yum. Same with the a steady flow of people coming in to cool off with fresh smoothies. Some of the aisles are tight and some are wide enough. I got what I came for but didn't see a particular item. At check out I asked if they still carried it. The staff here are stellar. This nice kid asked someone to call in the back and someone came out to bring me one. Again, LA! Girl! When did you become so nice? Ok Rodeo Drive really Beverly but same thing. You are making up for the past. When the worker brought the item out several people asked where was that item? I replied "I know right? Great gift for tourists or gift to self." I don't know why it isn't out on display maybe because this location is a smaller store not enough shelf room. I left with everything I wanted. A very nice experience coz the workers are rock stars here. Nice day in Beverly Hills 2 seconds from Rodeo Dr. Mel M Yelp 24:2

Yelp
picked up erewhon for lunch and it was my first time trying their hot bar. it was around $30 per plate however compared to other hot bars i've tried, the quality of their food lives up to the price. very clean ingredients and tasty as well. i'd love to come back and try more!

Yelp
The service here is very good. Prices are very high but you are in Beverly Hills. The ambiance is very good there are still pretty long lines for smoothies. If you want to find specialty items you come here. But some of these items you can find elsewhere for cheaper. All the premade food is really good that you can eat outside at some tables.

Yelp
Um I went in here this afternoon and waited in line for the hot bar. As I was waiting I witnessed a male employee behind the kitchen counter wipe his nose and with the gloves he had on and didn't change his gloves nor wash his hands. He proceeded to touch the food he was preparing. I was beyond disgusted and shocked I immediately told an employee and he told me he talked to the employee and made him change his gloves. How about you make the employee go through the health and safety training again?? As someone who's been in the food and beverage industry for years I've noticed an increase in restaurants being shut down by the health department due to poor training and protocol not being followed and this is an example of why it's happening.

Yelp
I'm a bigger fan of this spot than I'd like to admit, having previously had a mid experience at their Calabasas location. I had just finished a hike and found myself craving a healthy smoothie to aid in recovery. I was going to go to Kreation but the supercharged smoothies there were even more expensive than they are here, so I caved and returned to Erewhon. I had the Hailey Bieber smoothie the first time I gave Erewhon my business, but I've been on a blue wave lately and knew I wanted to try the Coconut Cloud this time. Placing your order onsite in the store is a nightmare so I learned my lesson and ordered via the app this time. There is free two hour parking in the garage right next door, with elevators that drop you off right in front of the tonic bar pickup area. Time estimates in the app might be a bit generous as my smoothie was ready 10 minutes before my estimated pick up time, but I made the mistake of waiting at the tonic bar pickup for an extra 10 minutes after I got the notification that my order was ready in the app. I finally caught one of the tonic bar workers and inquired about my order, ended up getting told that app pickups were on the other side of the store. I remember seeing a sign for app pickups at the Calabasas location but I was definitely a little annoyed having stood around for 10 minutes being in the wrong and having none of the employees ask why I was waiting around looking more and more impatient. I was a bit upset my smoothie had been sitting in the fridge for 10 minutes, but it was partially on me for not speaking up earlier. I really wouldn't recommend the Coconut Cloud as I'd heard from one other person that it tasted like nothing, and it really does just taste like banana. It didn't even taste like coconut like I was expecting since the Hailey Bieber tasted like coconut once I got to the coconut lining the cup, so in terms of flavor I can't recommend spending your money on this one. I will say that my stomach was a bit upset from eating too much raw fish in the hours prior and having the smoothie really did relax my digestion, so even if it didn't taste like what it costed I can't say it was money poorly spent.
