The 26 Best Restaurants In São Paulo - São Paulo - The Infatuation

"Notiê has emerged as one of São Paulo’s most interesting restaurants. It’s set in a grand old building overlooking the Theatro Municipal, and its chef, Onildo Rocha, focuses each menu on a specific Brazilian biome, using ingredients and techniques from that region, based on extensive on-the-ground research. Focusing on the likes of the Amazon or Cerrado, each menu lasts six to nine months. Highlights from the most recent, Chapada Diamantina, a high-altitude canyon-laden area in the northeastern state of Bahia, included a cashew and black tucupi custard with fish eggs and grated cashew, and coffee-crusted lamb. Though fine dining at its finest, the atmosphere is breezy and friendly, and there's no formal dress code." - tome morrissy swan

"Although only recently opened, this restaurant is already being talked about by the city’s foodie community. Located on the rooftop of the Shopping Light building, its design comes as a pleasant surprise as soon as you walk through the door thanks to its decor of yellow tones, glass-fronted kitchen enabling guests to watch the chefs hard at work and, first and foremost, the 18m panel on the ceiling depicting images of nature. At the helm in the kitchen is Paraíba-born chef Onildo Rocha who impresses with his use of typical Brazilian ingredients and combinations that result in intense and striking dishes. His recipes are based around his journeys to different Brazilian regions every season, and are showcased on 5-, 8- and 11-course tasting menus. The name of the restaurant is a fusion between one of the country’s most colourful birds, the tanager (tiê in Portuguese) and the Portuguese word for night (noite)." - Michelin Inspector

Best views of the city from the rooftop of this historic building. Inside a shopping mall but you can take the antique elevator to the sixth floor rooftop. I had lamb from this Michelin listed restaurante and it was incredible. Staff very friendly and kind. Upscale but not up tight!

First time visiting this spot in Sao Paulo, it was highly recommended for brunch and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is inside a very old and iconic building in the city center, it has a nice decoration and feel to it. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The food was very tasty and abundant, I believe the brunch is you pay a price and can eat as much as your body allows. Overall it was a great experience.

Great food with special combinations of products. Prices are fair, and I feel the VFM here is very high. Both for food and drink. The view from the top of the shopping light is amazing! I truly recommend visit this place.

Pleasant rooftop bar (1 of 3) with pretty downtown views, attentive service, creative food & cocktails with local ingredients.

Second visit to Abaru. The settings are amazing, Decor sensational, but something was not right in the kitchen the last time we visited. Service is excellent (i say that because they did everything to save a disastrous meal, not charging one dish and offering deserts on the house).

Google
Fency wannabe place that has a lot to improve in service. We did a very simple order (tapioca and desert - just a quick bite before moving on) outside of busy hours and waited an 1:20 to receive the food we ordered, which usually takes 15 minutes. In the meanwhile, we received a completely wrong deliver to our table. They did not know what table had what order, a complete mess and they were not able to tell us what was going on. That's not the kind of experience you usually pay for in São Paulo. It's worth for the environment and view, for the rest there are plenty better options in town.

Everything about this place is amazing. The menu we had was flavors of the Northeastern part of Brazil and it was delicious! The using vatapá to flavor the gnocchi was a nice touch as well. Plus, the açaí was rich and not too sweet - just perfect.
