First, most importantly, they have a happy hour every day! The atmosphere is great. You’ve got indoor seating outdoor seating. The menu is mostly new American with some interesting choices that enhance some routine meals like the chicken sandwich. Service was great throughout the meal and drinks were delivered promptly. You’ll enjoy the experience in this is sort of country and kind of eclectic restaurant.

Very busy restaurant, but despite the crowd, the service was still prompt, and on point. Nice rustic ambiance. The food was served hot and very tasty. Nice variety and shareable portions. Really great specials available for their happy hour. Good music playlist. My daughter was with me, but I do feel this is more of an adult environment.

Steak, frites, Brussels and the adult happy meal are fantastic. Shane provided consistently great service. Atmosphere is very nice and great happy hour prices. Highly recommend!

We hosted a private event at Establishment and it was a huge success. Note - we are from out of state so planned the event sight unseen. Management was very communicative and involved in planning. David even hired a DJ for the event, making it extra fun and unique. He made recommendations and ensured we had ordered enough of everything. Food and drinks were great, and we had positive feedback from party attendees. Event space was perfect for our needs, and there was a high level of service from everyone on staff. We would recommend Establishment for any event you have in Atlanta!

I really wanted to like this place, but it is average at best, and that's being generous. I'm not sure if it was due to the time/day my friend and I went, but the drink and service were underwhelming. First, the hours for Saturday were incorrect (it seems they might have updated that, but it's probably safer not to go anytime near opening if you want to be able to enter). We saw online that they were open an hour earlier, but when we tried to enter, the door was locked. Other customers also tried to patronize the restaurant and were told to come back because they weren't open yet. My friend and I specifically wanted to visit this place, so we walked around to kill time, and when we returned, they still weren't ready. Secondly, the happy hour menu online differs from what they offer you in the restaurant. Most of the drinks that I was looking forward to trying were not available, so that was disappointing. I did order something else, which did not taste good, but I didn't bother to send it back. My friend ordered wings and at least she enjoyed them so that is the one thing they got right. The decor/ambiance is really cute, though! However, I definitely will not be back. If you want to deal with incorrect times, incorrect menus, and underwhelming drinks, feel free to check it out. I hope you have a better experience than we did.

Came in on a Friday night with a friend. The DJ's set was awesome and kept the energy high. Brussel sprouts were delicious, the rest of the food was okay. Drinks were refreshing and tasty too.

I had the steak and fries. They were very delicious. She had the wings(if she said they were the best then believe me they are to die for) She's very picky

I came here with my office colleagues for a dinner and good time. We got both actually. I was surprised that someone is serving a Bone Marrow Butter Steak and Burger. I tried only steak and it was good, though I asked for Medium rare and it felt rare, but i am ignoring that for now. I could be wrong in judging the temperature. We had lot of starters like Wings, Brussels, fries etc. everything turned out to be good. Flavor - Star - 7 / 10 Authenticity of Flavor - Star - 7 / 10 Cleanliness - Star - 7 / 10 Service - Star - 8 / 10 Value for Money - Star - 8 / 10 Suggestion for owner: I don’t have anything for now but if i think of something, will surely let uou know. Suggestion for customer: The steak is bit different so don’t expect Longhorn steak, but it’s good. Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

This cocktail lounge is a cool spot! We had a private party for 20 and reserved the "Tight Squeeze" section which was behind a very nondescript door (like a speakeasy??) and right next to the bar, with a big center table where most of stood around, and then comfy sofas and chairs on the periphery. Since the other side of the bar was pretty much almost outside with a deck, they had heated lamps throughout. To order food or drinks, we went to the bartender - there is no server walking around to take orders. All of us kept an open tab - and they do automatically charge 20% tip. Our bartender was really good and super nice! And they have Happy Hours specials 4:30-7pm - even Sat/Sun ... so I took advantage of that! MELON BALL - $9 I'd never had a melon ball before and it was really yummy :) DOS CONFIT DUCK TACOS - $10 Two corn tortilla tacos w/ duck confit (birria style), NY sharp cheddar (actually I don't remember having cheese in mine), and mango chutney ... good option if you're looking for a lite bite. I enjoyed mine! LEMON PEPPER FRITES - $6 House-cut fries w/ lemon pepper dusting. The tacos weren't enough, lol - plus the fries were a good portion for sharing. I wish they sprinkled more lemon pepper but it was fine. Next time I'd like to try their Big Mac sliders - those looked really good! The shrimp po' boys looked good too! Looking at the regular menu, the food prices are very reasonable. Overall great spot for groups! They are located at Colony Square - although I knew the restaurant location, I did get disoriented after coming from the parking garage and trying to figure out where was 14th Street but a lovely policeman walked me there. Remember to bring your parking ticket and then ask the hostess to validate your ticket when you leave the restaurant - supposedly it's free up to 2 hours but I stayed there for over 6 hours and didn't have to pay for parking, yay!

Great food and wine scene! This restaurant provides consistently excellent food and service. We have been dining here for years for personal and business events. Last night we dined here to attend the Owl Lantern Parade kicking off from the adjacent Politan Row space. Service was excellent and all of our food was hot and fresh. Prices are a great value for the quality and portion size. Ghost in the Shell is our favorite cocktail. The duck fat chicken sliders and sandwiches were delicious. The truffle fries with Parmesan cheese were delicious. My brother loved the burger! The deviled eggs paired well with all the food. We dined on the patio and the fans and live DJ music kept us cool and entertained. Music is at a level that still allows conversation. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. We love this restaurant!!

Ambiance: Fun & trendy bar/restaurant/lounge in Midtown with multiple seating areas, all of which provide a bit of a different vibe/mood! The patio outdoor seating is very open/breezy with views of the Midtown area. We enjoyed the bar seats outside, however there were also lounge chairs and couch areas. The inside feels more moody & dark - perfect for a date night or upscale night out. There are dining table areas, seats at the bar, and lounge seating for a more club/laid back vibe. The menu was on the pricey side - I think you're paying for the ambiance! We enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Bar service was fast and attentive. Great spots for groups, tourists, and hanging out in a trendy ambiance. Bathrooms were clean. Street parking available, walking distance to several other spots. Definitely a place I would visit again next time I'm in Atlanta for the whimsy/industrial decor and aesthetic!

The Establishment is one of the many bars in the Colony Square/ West Midtown area, and it has a very chill but chic vibe. They have a very expansive bar with my favorite drink being the bluegrass bramble. Each of their bartenders are extremely personable and don't mind being the life of the party. If you're hungry, they do offer a food menu but I didn't have a chance to try any of those items. On the weekends, this place can get packed but thankfully there is a lot of first come first served seating for a small party. If you have a bigger one, I suggest getting a reservation. The music here is also very good! They play a good mix of all genres and everyone will enjoy it. There is valet parking available for Colony Square, or the paid parking deck.

TLDR: Longer wait time but the pimento burger was amazing! Stepping into the dim, warm ambience felt like slipping into a chic Christmas movie: twinkling lights, festive decor, and a sophisticated buzz that was just right for conversation. The place was spotless, and the wood details added a touch of rustic charm. Despite the slightly slower service (~20 min wait), the flavors and quality of the pimento burger made it well worth the patience. I highly recommend. And if you prefer a crispier fry, these will be your new gold standard. For a chill, satisfying lunch in a sophisticated setting, Establishment is a great spot!

So establishment has a pretty good happy hour. It's a decent crowd, if you go after work. You'll see a lot of business come in, so if you're looking for something a little more rowdy this would not be it. The drinks are okay, decent specials, but I had the EST burger, and that was amazing! It was kind of a smashburger cooked with dripping cheese all over the place. It was super flavorful and tasteful and I would 10 out of 10 get it again. Overall, if you're in the area, this will be a good spot to go for happy hour.

We came here for a Happy hour on a Friday night before heading out to the High museum of art. I highly recommend making reservations so you can be seated right away. They did look busy. We pretty much got everything on the happy hour menu and everything was really good. My favorite was homemade chips that they serve with onion dip. Oh and my bf got a drink and it was sooo strong. You only need 1 They also validate parking at the garage which is a huge plus at the Colony Square

I checked out Establishment for their happy hour before a play at the Alliance Theatre. It's located in the colony square. The vibes were great for a Wednesday. I liked the interior. We sat in the outside bar area but found out from the bartender that the specials were only for inside but she accommodated us, that was a win. All of our selections were good. Good bar food. I would come back to check out the entrees. I definitely recommend for afterwork happy hour.

Had a good experience at this restaurant. Ordered the Wagyu burger and it was HUGE and very good. The Garlic/Truffle fries are one of the best I've ever had. I ordered the champagne cocktail which was AWESOME! It's the same thing as a French 75 but they add their own name to it (highly recommend). The staff was very nice and the food and drinks came promptly. After 9pm they increase the music and it becomes a fun vibe where people come to chill and drink.

Went tonight for happy hour and was impressed by the food and service. The sliders and eggs were great....Nicole was great and the patio is perfect on a warm day. The only downfall was no prices on the regular drink menu for cocktails and beer. Personally would just like to know if I'm paying $10 or $19 for a cocktail..

A very chill pub/bar to hangout with friends. We usually frequent the colony square for brunches and movies and sometimes we end up hanging out here as we wait for our movie time. It's casual, parking is same as it would be at any other restaurant in colony square. Not sure if they validate parking as we got ours validated at IPIC. The drinks are good. I haven't tried their food yet, service is quick. They have a fire pit outdoor which I can see getting very popular during winter. I'll definitely be revisiting.

Located in colony square, Establishment is a great restaurant to go if you want a great selection of drinks , food , and a great ambiance. They have a wide selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. I had the rabbit pot pie and I loved it . The rabbit was delicious and the shiitake mushrooms balanced the pot pie perfectly. I would definitely recommend coming here if your looking for a fun time and fantastic food.

Only went for happy hour, but absolutely recommend the Horse's Neck and white been hummus. Horse's Neck was one of my favorite bourbon drinks ever, outside of a good old fashioned.

What a gem! Be sure to visit both bars, they have two different menus. We were told there were no tables available, but that we could add our name to the list. My group of five was seated nearly 10 minutes later. A win! Everyone enjoyed their food, and the drinks were delicious. I lovedddd the brussel sprouts. I'll be back!

My first time here since before the remodel. Ate at the bar. Staff was friendly. You order from the bar if you are not seated at a dining table. It's pretty hectic in there. Nice view overlooking the side patio of colony square. The establishment has always been nice. The Philly sandwich was good. The Mac & cheese was okay. The deviled eggs were okay as well. I had a few drinks before we arrived here so I can't recall the drink I had here but it was really good.

I came here solo for Valentines day after work. The weather was nice so the patio was open therefore the whole restaurant was kind of open air. I wanted ot sit out on the patio. The hostess shared they whole area had reservations except for a couple of seats at a long high top table. I took it. By the way, no one came to sit at my table and maybe one couple came in the patio area while I was there. Rest of the time it was empty. My service was great. I was requested to have the heat lamp on and my server obliged. My food was excellent. Even the plates were nice, ceramic stoneware. The ambiance is really nice from the patio to the bar to the sitting area and then tables in the back. There is also another bar and sitting area. I would definately recommend for dinner or just somewhere for drinks and to sit and chat.

Came here for drinks late Friday night while visiting friends in town. Love the drinks and vibes for sure. Their unique cocktails are attentive to details. Flavor profiles definitely hitting the scales! Have not tried their food but perhaps next time

Love the vibes love the happy hour. I walk here and when the weathers nice there's tons of seating outside. Bartenders are great and food too. Happy hour specials are actually good prices. I've been several times and I'll keep coming back! Apparently they switched to cashless though which is a bummer but lots of places doing that now.

I had a great time at Tight Squeeze at The Establishment which is the outside bar area. The bar area is really nice and instagrammable with neon lights, greenery and nice decor. Some coworkers and I were in the area for a conference and decided to stop by for some after work drinks. We all ordered a gin cocktail. The one I had was called Endless Summer which had strawberry infused gin. It was really good, but somewhat on the sweeter side. We also ordered two appetizers to share from the after work menu. This menu is available from 4pm-6pm. I'll definitely be returning soon.

Service was terrible. Never saw our waiter after food came until he brought the check at the end. One person in our party never got her drink. They auto-gratted 20 percent on a party of only 5. Food was just ok. It was a Tuesday night so not super busy.

We went here for a group happy hour and had fun! As the name suggests, this is a place very much geared for the whiskey lovers, BUT they still have options for others. They have a solid happy hour (4-6pm when I went) that has $10 whiskey cocktails (think traditionals- mint julep, whiskey sour, whiskey ginger, etc), a cheap Prosecco option as well, and affordable apps! I got the one with whiskey, ginger, and lemon peel (the name evades me), which was strong but refreshing. It was all reasonably priced. My service was unfortunately so-so, with infrequent check-ins. The ambiance is awesome though -- open patio with overlying string lights and just a really cool aesthetic bar. The truffle fries are INCREDIBLE -- perfectly crunchy, nice salt, good truffle flavor and covered with cheese. This is a place I will definitely go back to try more things, but word to the wise... the adjacent parking garage is quite expensive ($30 for ~ 3 hours). **not to be confused with whiskey bird (very different) **

I originally came to this restaurant to check out the North Pole holiday pop up bar they have on their small rooftop area. Upon arrival, there was already a line forming just to order drinks. Plus it was raining and the rooftop isn't covered. I decided to go back downstairs and have a drink at the indoor bars until traffic slowed down a bit. Chris was my bartender and he was super cool. He made great drinks and was very accommodating to my off menu request. I wanted something refreshing with a summery feel and he delivered. I intended on hanging at the bar for a little while, but I stayed for at least 2.5 hours. The energy is very welcoming here too. They have two bars on the main level and a limited time pop up bar on the roof. I'm not sure what they usually have out there, but the space would make a nice spot for additional outdoor seating. I eventually went back to the rooftop and was able to snag seats in the pop up. I would say I 100% had a better time at the lower level bar. But check out the North Pole if you can. It's quaint! This restaurant itself is pretty ducked off in colony square so it can be tricky to locate. However, it's adjacent to the CFA. Enjoy!

Establishment passes the vibe test! The most lively happy hour I've been to in a while. Great happy hour menu (4-6 pm). The food and drinks were on point. I got the truffle fries and a bubbly cocktail. The serving size for the fries is plentiful for sharing. My friend was very satisfied with his burger, regular fries, and cocktail. The music playlist was fabulous and had our heads bobbing-I almost got out of my seat to Chicago Step...lol! Special shout-out to Melody who got our order in within the last ten minutes of happy hour. Parking is available in the garage or you can opt to park in a nearby lot. My friend who was visiting from Chicago agreed that the Establishment is definitely a winner for happy hour!

This place was okay! Came here on a Friday night around 9pm and had a drink and the pimento cheese plate. It was good, but the bread was just a bit too hard and honestly impossible to break! Tough on my teeth to even bite through, weird to mess up something so simple. The drink was also mediocre at best and also the bartender was super confusing. We didn't want to start a tab but he did anyways; also wanted to pay separately between two people but he only brought out one check¿ Probably wouldn't return to as there's so many other better options around the area

Came here for a weekday meal and drinks. To drink I had the summerthyme fling. It was okay. Not as strong as I'd have hoped. Mostly ice. But large glass, because of the ice. To eat I had the chicken Philly sandwich. Decent. The sandwich was definitely missing some spices. Got it with garlic fries. Pretty tasty. My friend got the Mac & cheese, that was delicious! I'd def come back and try out something else. Vibe indoors was loud, crowded but nice. We sat in the back in a booth so it was away from the big crowd

Food was OK, service was terrible. It was not busy at all, and it took literally 15 minutes after we asked for our check to actually get it because the server was walking around, chatting with other staff and drinking at the bar. I would have reflected this in the tip, but this place automatically added 20% tip, and had the audacity to suggest additional tip at the bottom of the bill. Avoid this place, and if you don't, ask for a different server than Mike L.

If you are looking for a whole menu filled with unhealthy foods, you've come to the right place. There is nothing for a vegan to eat here, little choice for a vegetarian, and virtually no vegetables. I had the mushroom risotto which was so dense, you could use it as mortar on your brick walkway. My colleagues who are not vegetarian and tried a variety of menu items were also unimpressed. Let's just say, the sign of bad food is when a lot of food is left over and no one wanted to take it home. There are better options in Colony Square.

Saturday night vibes! Get the watermelon Margarita, light and super perfect for bar bites! We ordered 3 apps, one didn't make the photo because it was tasty AF which was the garlic fries. Half eaten eggs because protein LOL We didn't really care for the onion dip but the chips around it were really tasty and fresh. This is a perfect for a GNO or date night. Honestly more a date night, me and a girlfriend went and noticed after 2 drinks that everyone around us were BOO'd up. Service was great, would rate 5 star but the onion wasn't creamy, tasted like paste like

We walked over to this bar after a recommendation from the staff at Joys Cafe. Amazing food, great atmosphere, tasty cocktails, attentive and kid staff. Couldn't ask for much more.

Had lunch here. Looks like a cool place. The burgers are great. Had the chicken wings tasted great but were too salty as were the fries. But the food came out quick. That is good ass were they here for lunch and had limited time.

Happened upon this joint walking thru Politan Row. Fun outdoor seating with delicious food. After discussing options with our server, Heidi, we change our mind from the risotto and got the burger. What a great choice!

Chill restaurant with a dinner party vibe. Lots of small groups of friends sitting together for eating and drinking. Not really great for singles. I didnt try any of the food but it smelled great. They have a really good live band that plays a mix of old school and new skool songs. There isn't really a ton of parking but there are a few valets nearby (5 church and the W) if you need parking. I would go back for dinner with friends or on a date but not for a solo drink at the bar.

First time here...The atmosphere, location and space was relaxing, especially for a end of the week vide. We went on a Friday night about 7 PM, recommend reserving ahead of time, we had about a 50minute wait from a walking reservation for 2. The bar was packed for waiting area, but very fast drinks and were pretty good considering it tasted like the mule I prefer. Ordered from a few other places, but this one hit the spot. The staff was busy busy busy. I didn't see a single person not doing something and they were packed. After our drinks, we walked over to the patio area. During the time we went, there were patio heat lamps throughout the area as we sat around a massive fire pit. Then our table arrived. Nice spot, music was blasting so it was kind of hard to have a conversation without shouting. They had a live band playing, think it was Fundraising Tuna...don't quote me on that. Didn't see any marketing info on site. The music was good, people around were talking and dancing, so overall the tunes welcomed a relaxing vibe as we noticed the band and the bartenders having shots. I say all this, because our meal didn't live up to the reason why we were there...HUNGER. We shared the Marsala Mussels as a appetizer more then enough for 2 maybe 3 max if you love mussels. I ordered a grill chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Fries we're awesome, the sandwich not so much. Bread was toasted well and tasty, the bacon was cooked well, it has a green sauce that seemed to be missing something. It was ok for taste, but the chicken itself was not seasoned, marinated, beaten or anything. It was very tough. I tried a few bites of the half I cut to see if there was some tenderness still...nothing. Instantly thought I should have tried the Chicken Philly.

Excellent bar!!! The decor is pretty, and the bar stools are comfy. The bartenders are talented and friendly. I appreciate how attentive they are and seem to support each other. No matter how busy the line/wait for a drink is never too long. Chris makes delicious creative cocktails. I had a purple cocktail, a lush orange one with egg foam on top, and an expression martini. They were all superb, and I would have again if I could recall their names. I will be back.

Mike is the best bartender ever. Talk to him about the queen! My boyfriend and I had an excellent time, we will be back to talk more british geopolitics.

This area is so cute! The spot has many restaurants to choose from: italian, mediterranean, asian, mex, ect. You walk in & order food from wherever, then wait for buzzer to go off once it is ready. There is a bar to get drinks from, and they have indoor/outdoor seating. Cute spot for a date or girl time! They have a big outdoor green area with tables/chairs, plus you can bring your own. Love that they are pet friendly!

Never been drive past it all the time always wanted to try it so today was the day. I was not disappointed. This is a coo place to go brag drinks and something light to snack on. They have a after work special that have drink specials and food specials. They have a nice fire pit outside and the service is face but they kinda forget about you if you walk away. Will most definitely be coming back with some friends beer it get real cold out. The burger was good and the drinks were strong

Happy we found this spot. Super cool and trendy spot. The decor is everything, the staff is super cool. This spots has 2 bars, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor bar in the back is a vibe. There's tons of seating so if you go with a big group you should be able to find seating. The only thing I didn't like about Establishment is that the bathroom is small. There is only 2 stalls and not much of a waiting area.

Decided to check out this spot in midtown located next to the W with a friend on a Tuesday. The Establishment has a large outdoor seating area which we sat at. There were a decent amount of people there for a Tuesday. Our waitress provided good recommendations on drinks and food. I decided to order the Bluegrass Bramble which was a good whisky drink. For food I ordered the chicken Philly and garlic fries. They were delicious and filling! I appreciated the vibe of the restaurant. It gave me a lounge feel. I would definitely come back here to grab a drink and food and just chill and hangout.

Been here many times and it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is on point. Other times you want to send it back. I've noticed if I'm in a larger group the food is better. 2-4 party that's when it may be a miss. The servers are nice but the kitchen isn't consistent. The ambiance aside from everything is great. Good music, nice vibes, they just need to get the kitchen to be consistent.

Not sure why I've never stopped in. But this past weekend I did. The weather was perfect. They have a nice patio with a fire pit! I didn't eat. I had the old fashioned which was perfectly made. If you're looking to lounge, chill, and enjoy the outdoor with a friendly staff, I urge you to stop at the Establishment.

Immensely overpriced to begin with. A 20% service fee just for ordering from the bar on top of that. The ambiance is nice but not worth it by any means.

I hosted a work event at Establishment. The booking of the event was very easy and menu selection for our small group was a nice selection of appetizer type of options. The space we had was private and casual ... perfect for our event. The sliders, wings and risotto were excellent! The service however was average at best specially the snobby bartender who had zero customer service and had nothing but a frown to offer. I would have expected much better service to match the food and atmosphere. I could have easily rated 3 stars but the scheduling of the event and actual food had me lean towards 4 stars. A little "chick fil a ...my pleasure" training to the servers and would easily be a 5 star.

Shane is awesome. We were first timers. Shane was patient, kind and genuine. The food is great as well. Check out the kale salad (add the shrimp if you are not allergic), the warm bread pudding and the braised wings. We shall return soon.....

Can't say I was impressed with the food or drinks. The atmosphere is super chill and elevated but we sat on the patio, which is nice but doesn't carry out the same feel. For my drink I tried the Corpse reviver and it was decent but nothing I would order again. For apps we tried their mussels. Pretty good and quite a large portion. Enough to share between 2-3 people. For my meal I ordered lamb. Not as flavorful or juicy as I expected. I definitely had better. Our server wasn't the most friendly or personable either. Overall: patio, great atmosphere and well stocked bar but if I come back, I'd eat else where.

Met up with a friend here for dinner. I've always seen this place so I was really excited to finally go. With the recent renovations at Colony Square there is so much to do now. I love the decor of the restaurant. I order the lemon pepper for an appetizer. They were okay. I would try another flavor when I go again. I also order the steak and had a lot left over for take home. The steak, haricots, and mash was really good. I highly recommend Our server was on point and quick. I highly recommend. Next time I will sit on the patio so I can people watch lol.
