We read some wonderful reviews about this restaurant and decided to try and get a table on very short notice. The lady on the phone couldn’t have been nicer and her friendly and helpful response set the tone for our lunch there.
The food we got to enjoy was truly wonderful. From the amuse bouche (the asparagus mousse was our favourite, followed by the tarte train of onion). There was a wonderful flaky bun with sea salt and lime zest. Next came possibly the best vegetarian entree I’ve ever tasted. Zucchini in all its textures, as a mousse, tartare, purée, coulis … magical, then came a fillet of whiting, beautifully cooked with a herb mousseline and cabbage rolls and finally a vanilla soufflé with elderflower sorbet airy as a soufflé should be but still some texture complemented by this lovely refreshing sorbet.
Special mention also to our wonderful waiter who recommended some great wines to go with our menu.
We loved it and highly recommend it.
