Onion Soup was delicious! Had the 8 pieces deep fried Halibut and fries, so flakey was the Halibut and very tasty! Fries are homemade. We got 1 serving and shared, we still didn't finish it, almost but not quite. Service was friendly and fast. A good place to visit

Professionalism all around. The experience you wish you'd have at every restaurant. Great vibe, fair prices, the classic restaurant experience. And oh yeah the food is incredible.

Google
This was my first time visiting F Street Station. A friend of mine highly recommended the fish and chips dinner and it was very good. So good in fact, that after eating a 4 piece plate, I ordered another plate. The server/bartender was very nice and attentive even though the place was packed on a Friday night. As far as atmosphere, I'd say the place was cozy, quaint and casual. What I liked were the tons of stickers at the bar that represent many different military units from around the world. I was very surprised to immediately see a sticker from the unit I served with in the Marines about 30 years ago! It's actually the first time I've ever seen that sticker anywhere and because the unit is in Yuma, Arizona I was never expecting to see it hanging in a bar in Anchorage, Alaska of all places! It was very cool that one of the locals noticed me staring at the sticker and offered to take my picture in front of it. He and I ended up talking about all kinds of stuff for about an hour. I will definitely be going back to F Street next time I'm in town.

Google
It is a seat yourself place. The food was very good. Prices were pretty reasonable. It is packed so the service can be a little slow. My food came out really late compared to my friends. Other than that it’s a great place to visit. The fried halibut was so good. It was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Google
I came in to place a carry-out order but they don’t do that so, fortunately, there was room at the bar. I ordered the Beer Battered Alaskan Halibut- 4 pieces/Texas size. As you can see by my plate, I appeared to be more four pieces. They were tender, lightly-breaded and cooked to perfection. The homemade fries were delicious, too. I hadn’t paid attention to cost so when the bill came, I was shocked at the price. So reasonable! My server was very friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely return when I’m in town again.

Google
This is a really nice pub-style restaurant. Please know that the majority of the seating is bar side. There are only a couple of freestanding tables. It is really busy in there, but the food is worth it.

Google
Great spot with a lively atmosphere, full kitchen, and speedy service. Visited on a Friday and enjoyed a very happening space with good drinks and conversation. I appreciated the bartender's professionalism and speed. Got to talk to other patrons, and everyone seemed open to conversation.

Google
Great place. It is a bar. No reservations and given the good food and popularity you typically have to wait along the wall for a seat or try and grab an open bar stool and ask others to move over to slide in a date or friend. Tomi was a great server! She knew when to stop over for a drink refresh etc. she was on the money for food and drink selections. Plus she was happy and funny! We sat at the bar next to where they do the food. All I can say is that Phil was the “master of arms” or better said the “Bobby Flay” of the cooking section next to us. Great personality, point on for food and friendly. The team of guys working with him were “a well honed machine”. It is worth the wait and the halibut special was a killer as was the escargot and steamed clams. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Was SO impressed with the quality of the food at this bar. I don't drink so the bar scene is not my favorite. Needed dinner and this was right next to my hotel. Halibut sandwich and a side salad were wonderful! I'm real picky about fish but this was great! And a simple salad with flavorful dressing rounded it out.

Yelp
A downtown staple for aviators, tourists, and locals, in my opinion. We have been here 4 times and the average experience is why I rated it 4/5 stars. The sourdough crab sandwich for the first 3 times was the best that we have ever eaten! It is a nice portion served with either fries, salad, or soup. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed, but the last time we visited it tasted different and not in a good way. The calamari and mussels are also a staple for us when we visit and they are usually delicious. The biggest drawback with this restaurant is the lack of space when waiting for a table. There isn't a hostess to seat you, it is a first come, first serve basis and it can be very difficult to find a table/spot for you and your guests. The restaurant isn't the biggest, so again it can be exhausting in the winter time. The bartenders are attentive and friendly and the service has been fine. Overall, I'd recommend the restaurant.

Yelp
Finally getting around to reviewing this place. We visited around labor day and this spot was recommended by our BNB host. We somehow got a seat at the bar after someone leaving offered it to us. Its pretty rowdy and busy and no one tells you where to sit, so you need to fend for yourself. I had the best fried oysters of my life here. The food comes out hot and fresh. But be prepared as food does come out a bit slow, its made to order. Overall the food is filling and its a good spot to people watch as well. We would definitely be back next time we visit the area.

Yelp
F Street Station reportedly has the best fish and chips in town. That was great for my wife who ordered that and really loved it so, it's probably good for you too if that's what you're looking for. I went along to support her in this endeavor, but I'm a vegetarian and the offerings for me are limited. They have one vegetarian item on the menu, a pasta...I'd been a bit over-pastad on this trip so I didn't want it. I would have loved it if the French Onion Soup was vegetarian (but it wasn't) so I ended up ordering bread. Hurrah! And availing myself of their famous (and free) carve your own slices of Tillamook cheese station, despite the warning sign stating the cheese was for display purposes only. So the main plus for me here is that I got to see my wife really enjoy her meal! Plus, seated at the bar (it's a pub so first come first serve, every person for themselves seating) the bartender (and our server) was really nice. The Bread I ordered was a mediocre baguette...I was happy to have it to concoct myself a cheese sandwich from the slices I carved myself. (I mean free cheese ups any place a star in my book.) Fries and garlic bread were also available. I also got the house cabernet to drink. It was poured from the end of a big bottle and tasted like it may have been open for a couple of days. They don't have a cocktail menu but they do have a full bar available (and nicer wines) so know what you want going in. For me this was a 2 or 3 star experience with very limited options for vegetarians, and what I got wasn't great...but because my wife thought the fish and chips was just about the best she'd ever had, I'm giving a four for the benefit of the doubt.

Nicole B.

Yelp
We love this place! Only bad thing is it's hard to get a seat in here. Came in here on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty! We also got a parking spot in front, which never happens! We usually get the same things. If this place is too full, we walk down to 49th state.

Harvey G.

Yelp
Was not super crowded probably due to the freezing rain! Love the cheese block on the corner of the bar! Waitress was prompt and took our drink order. When she came back we both ordered the Halibut sandwich, I swapped French onion soup for fries, and was glad I did! Best French onion soup I have had in while. Good piece of halibut, bun was nothing to write about. Overall good experience. I would visit again!

Arden Y.

Yelp
Visit for lunch, sat at the bar as there was a good crowd. Good location, very nice and welcoming. Quick friendly greeting and employee helpful in answering questions and providing suggestions. Started with shrimp gumbo- The the halibut special of the day and fish and chips. Both were very good, tasty and fresh. Fries were hot good stuff.

Eric S.

Yelp
Simple, fun and local is how I'd describe F Street Station. It definitely has it's own vibe and you'll either love it or you'll hate it but it's where you'll find many of the locals hanging out. Beer is served from Mason jars which keeps it simple and fun. The place gets pretty busy in the evenings with standing room only sometimes. Sit at the bar and you'll have some engaging conversations with the ladies at the bar. They tell it how it is without a filter and I love it. They have a simple menu with a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and entrees. In my opinion they have the BEST halibut 'n chips in town. So delicious. There's a Texas sized portion or the Alaska sized portion depending on how hungry you are. There's often a daily special as well listed on the chalk board on the back wall. Give it a try but if it's not your vibe that's okay...there's other places to enjoy in town.

Jay T.

Yelp
Still the best restaurant/bar in town. A good mix of locals and tourists, where everybody seems to be happy. This was a return visit for us. We visited this location every day during our visit to Anchorage. Be prepared to wait as the place is packed most of the time. The grilled halibut sandwich is amazing. We also had the salmon spread, fresh oysters, steamed clams, and fried calamari. The beer is always cold. The service is always great. We will return. Note: they do not offer to go orders, but you can take leftovers.

Scott Y.

Yelp
We came in at 11AM on a Sunday. Already packed. We sat at the right side bar and watched the chefs work their magic. If you're a foodie and enjoy watching good chefs work, I highly recommend this. The food takes a while to come out when it's busy here, but it's well worth the wait.We heard one of the chefs mention to a customer that they prefer that the food comes out good rather than fast. I agree. This is the second time we've been here in the last few days. Everything we tried was very very good. I'm sure everything else is good as well. Place fills up quickly so get here early. Good fair prices. I highly recommend F Street Station. 4.5 stars.

Maria S.

Yelp
This was fine - honestly very underwhelming. You walk in and it doesn't say to seat yourself, but you have to, which you realize after not being greeted after a while. I wasn't the only person who appeared confused when they walked in, which was comforting - it looks like a mix of regulars and tourists come in. I sat at the bar, and the smell from the cleaning rags is very unpleasant and kind of overpowering. The bartenders are super nice once you get their attention, which is hard to do since they're busy. I had a Texas-sized portion of halibut and was unpleasantly surprised at how dry it was, given the reviews, but the fries were pretty good. The fish and chips are priced at market price, which that day was $13, and that seemed reasonable enough. I think the reviews just let me to expect a more exciting experience.

John F.

Yelp
Fun place! Super good oysters and the Halibut was excellent and a nice value too. Lots of beer choices both draft and bottle. The French Onion soup was outstanding and delicious. Service was outstanding and even better is the bar is owned by a former submarine sailor. Great aviation ambiance too. Great choice.

Anna L.

Yelp
F Street Station is a popular restaurant/bar in Anchorage. If the place is full, you'll have to wait for an empty table. Sit anywhere that is available. We got bar seats. The line cooks are super hardworking. We had the calamari, king salmon salad, and grilled halibut salad. Everything was good. I especially liked the cranberry vingette dressing on my salad. Service can be a bit slow if the place is packed.

Jocelyn F.

Yelp
F Street weekend breakfast was incredible! Have been here MANY times for burgers, NY steak sandwich, halibut fish and chips, Caesar salads, calamari, butter clams, French onion soup, and delicious hand-cut skin-on french fries, but this was a first! They had two options, chicken fried steak, served with home fries and choice of scrambled or poached eggs, or eggs Benedict served with home fries. We watched the head chef use an industrial immersion blender to expertly create the hollandaise sauce, continuously checking the temperatures on the vats of butter and egg mixtures. It was so creamy and delicious, even my dining partner enjoyed it even though he doesn't typically like eggs bennie. The chicken fried steak was perfectly breaded, fried, and topped with a what tasted like a delicious reindeer sausage gravy. I will order an extra cup of that next time to add to the home fries. The potatoes were par boiled then deep fried and were so perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good they didn't even need seasoning. So fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen prepare for the day and week. The kitchen staff are so fun to chat with. We accidentally went at opening (10am), and had to wait until 11 to place our order, which took about an hour to land, so keep that in mind for timing on the first run of plates.

Susan B.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch. After reading a few yelp reviews about the customer service, I was a bit hesitant. But glad I decided to go. The food was excellent. I had the grilled halibut sandwich and soup of the day (salmon and corn chowder). It took a bit long for the food to come. But I wasn't in a rush. The place was packed with mainly local. Everyone here was friendly and welcoming. I'm going to come back here again!

Yelp
It's been 4 years since my first review so I figured I'd give you an update. I've been about 100 times since then & thats no joke!! This place has incredible food at amazing prices. The servers are amazing, all beautiful women and I love that! They are quick on their feet and offer great service with a smile! Depending on the day and time it can be tough to get in here though. Friday between 6-9pm ?! You'll be standing and waiting for a table. But gosh is it worth the wait. Every day they offer a lunch and dinner special. Some of my favorites to note are the soups! Clam chowder, potato bacon and of course the signature French onion. Which NO one in Anchorage comes close too. Their Friday French Dip lunch special is a favorite but get there early (opening @ 11am) (for kitchen) because they will sell out of their specials! I'll add some photos of the great meals I've had over the past 4 years. Thanks for always serving up a good time and great food !!!

Shōn D.

Yelp
March 30th, 2024 My wife asked me to take her here today. It was about 1:45 on Saturday, and we both had the Beer Battered Halibut with fries. Was very delicious! Nice place to have a meal! Parking was free. Thank you, F St. Station!

Rob P.

Yelp
When you get right down to it, I'm a pretty simple guy. While I can appreciate a virtuoso performance on the plate, all I really need is good food and drink. F Street really takes style over substance to heart. - Drafts are served in mason jars. - Food is placed on the plate by cooks and servers, not food artists. - And, of course, there's the communal 25 pound block of cheddar. That's not just a euphemism: there's a massive block of cheese sitting on the bar, and patrons are welcome to shave off a piece. Everyone seems to understand that they should place the plastic wrap back on top of the cheese when they're done. The cheese is not the highlight of the experience, but it is pretty cool. The bartender was quick with our drinks. The Moscow Mule was strong, and of course they have a nice compliment of beers from Alaska. She also told us that the salmon was fresh today. While they wouldn't make a salmon sandwich (though they do have a halibut sandwich), they did serve it on a salad. The salmon was phenomenal...there's nothing quite like freshly caught, freshly baked salmon from Alaska. The rest of the salad? The Caesar dressing is excellent, but the rest of the salad is nothing special. That's not a problem when the salmon is this good. I liked it so much that I ordered a salad to go. It was then that I learned that they don't, technically, do carry out. They will bring you the food you want on a plate, with styrofoam boxes, and you have to box it up yourself. Not a big deal, but not exactly a selling point. It was a Saturday night, and it was busy, but the service was great. And, there was a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. They know they have a good thing here. No frills, but who cares when the food and service is that good?

Tormy L.

Yelp
Very good food, everything is made fresh . The calamari was the best . Service was awesome we were seating at the bar near seat ever Please was nice decent and clean . I was surprise that they close at 230 am which it work great for us .

Andrew T.

Yelp
Great spot in downtown Anchorage. Bar like atmosphere. Ordered the French onion soup, fish and chips, and crab sandwich. Everything was great, service was nice and fast.

Kory J.

Yelp
Great local spot in Anchorage. The salad with salmon was delicious and we met some friendly folks who gave us some good advice for our trip

Greg G.

Yelp
Always has a following, always a great experience; never short on cheesy constipation, put it on a cracker and add hot sauce laxative .. definitely maybe!!

Brandy C.

Yelp
One of my favorite meals while in Anchorage (so good I went twice). Seating is limited but, we were able to grab a couple of spots at the bar top. Their menu items were decently priced and consisted of soups, salads, sandwiches and fuller entrees (mostly seafood). My first visit, I enjoyed a turkey sandwich. The second visit, I had their sautéed shrimp and scallops with added noodles to make it a pasta. Definitely recommend!

Priya S.

Yelp
Our hotel receptionist who lives in Anchorage told us that this was her favorite place in town. It's a fun vibe and the food was delicious! We got the salmon dip (served with capers, onions, lemon, and nice soft bread) and fried oysters with bread (ask for tartar sauce). Much better than your regular bar food!

Cil H.

Yelp
I could eat here everyday! There's never a bad dish here. Never disappoints, the seafood is incredibly delicious. Love the daily specials they have. The staff is ok considering how busy they are all the time. It's small in there and usually a little wait for a table or bar seat but it's worth the wait.

Ryan E.

Yelp
Great spot in downtown Anchorage. Saw plenty of good reviews and had to check it out for my first time in town. The dinner rush on a Thursday evening at 6 PM was real, and the place stayed consistently busy with many opting not to wait for a table or spot at the bars, but it was worth it. Excellent service from the servers and bar staff, food came out quick and was excellent. Highly recommend and I'll be back.

Bob L.

Yelp
Always a good stop... open LATE... kitchen open until AT LEAST 0045. Last call at 0200, if "memory" serves. Daily special go fast. Great food, great service from MOST of the staff.. Laura, however, is the one to avoid... all others pleasant to deal with, but honestly--not sure how Laura is still around!!! Should've been fired YEARS ago! Free "display" cheese... long historical story... plenty of tap and bottled choices. One of my favorites, in spite of one staff member.

Pax F.

Yelp
The food here was honestly just as average as the service, all this would have meant that I just never went back and didn't leave a review until I noticed the extremely transphobic sign pictured below that instantly made clear the uncomfortable vibe that this place gives off that flows under the radar at first.

Cary J.

Yelp
Without a doubt, the best service, food, and company in Anchorage. Make sure you show up on Tuesdays so you can enjoy Jenny & Lori's hospitality!! Most fun ever!

Jessica P.

Yelp
I came here as it was close to the hotel and didn't want to walk too far or wait too long (ie. over an hr) to eat. [The restaurants here are packed on Sundays so make sure to make reservations if there are places you definitely want to check out.] The nice thing about this restaurant/bar is that you can find your own seat and then the waitress will be there to serve you. I was lucky to find a spot at the bar. Parking: There is metered street parking or parking (pay at lot) near by. Staff: the bartender served us and she was real quick and efficient! Kudos to her for managing soo many customers that sit at the bar all on her own. The restaurant had an interesting smell to it but food and service were great. Food Beer battered Alaskan halibut ($19): yummy "fish & chips" to end the night. The beer battered halibut was crispy, hot and just right. More fish compared to batter which is great..most places I've found to have little fish & tons of batter. The fish didn't have a fishy taste and was fresh. The fries that came with it was just okay.. I'd be back for some "fish & chips"

Lillie M.

Yelp
Very nice staff, the Whiskey crab bisque was delicious! My husband had the halibut sandwich special and it was delicious as well.

Charles C.

Yelp
Amazing food! I visited Anchorage for my 1st time, and my local friends took me here on my first night in town. All the great reviews are spot on about this place. I tried a little bit of several dishes: halibut fish & chips, calamari, scallops/shrimp, and clams. Everything was awesome!! Cooked perfectly and with lots and lots of flavor. Our servers were very attentive and on top of things. I read some comments in previous reviews that mentioned getting a table being difficult and they're very correct. This is a bar/pub style place. There's no hostess, no reservations, no to-go ... none of that. It's a "find a spot if you can... if you can't, wait for someone to leave" type of place. Totally fine with me, since I knew to expect that.

Wade K.

Yelp
A long time staple of downtown Anchorage. This bar and grill features a lifetime of Alaska military and commercial aviation as well as many local friends enjoying drinks during the long summer days and even long winter nights. The ladies behind the bar and the guys in the kitchen keep the food and drink flowing nearly nonstop even at 2am during the summer months. Need a quick appetizer before your meal? Visit their world famous cheddar cheese block along with some crackers. Soups and a cocktail warm your insides during the long cold winter months. Fish and chips are the standard for many folks visiting Alaska. Additionally I would highly recommend the fresh salmon on a sandwich, salad or any plate really. Doesn't get better than fresh fish during the salmon runs. Grab a couple of friends and walk on down to the popular and casual F Street, you won't regret it.

Karen B.

Yelp
I went back again just last month and the food is still off the charts amazing. Great atmosphere and excellent service. If you are lucky enough, Lori will be your server. She is hilarious, on point, and one of the best servers ever. If you're in downtown Anchorage, stop in. You don't want to miss a great meal.

Murray H.

Yelp
Awesome pre-gastro pub food and atmosphere. Tried the Beer Battered Alaskan Halibut with a cup of clam chowder and a side of garlic bread. The halibut was perfect! Just the right amount of batter and fired to perfection. Almost like tempura. The clam chowder was solid and the garlic bread was simple and toasted just right. Sat at the bar by the kitchen and the crew had the appropriate WTF attitude. Bonus points for sitting next to a signed photo of Pappy Boyington! Next time I'm trying the fresh oysters.

Jeanie H.

Yelp
In search of a good burger and he found it. Halibut sandwich was equally great. Perfect find and I'm told the pilots come here.

Mark G.

Yelp
These are the best fish and chips in the world This is not an opinion, it's a fact. I've eaten fish and chips in Vancouver, London, and Iceland and these reign Supreme over all! Perfectly battered and fried halibut nice and hot not dry super flavorful and juicy and a perfect tartar sauce and excellent fries! Just bravo all around to the kitchen staff on this meal. I also got to enjoy their Blackened Halibut special as well. Again cooked exceptionally well and super flavorful. The seasoning spot on too. Side note: had lunch there earlier that day lol and enjoyed the halibut sandwich. It's halibut-fest over here I tell ya! The sandwich wasn't much of a looker but it made up for it in the flavor yet again. Please eat here when in Anchorage!

Mauka U.

Yelp
We were visiting Alaska for the first time about a week and a half ago. The tall long-haired woman was not very pleasant. The initial encounter seemed very awkward. It's too bad as this place was recommended to us. We will not be returning in the future.

Kaycee M.

Yelp
Sorry to say this restaurant was the worst part of our trip and we went upon recommendation from a friend. We went around 3 pm on a weekday for a late lunch. It was not crowded at all. We lingered for a minute at the door. No one passing said hi or paid attention to us waiting, which was when I remembered that my friend had said it was seat yourself, so we did, but that was our first hint of what was to come. Our waitress had long blonde hair and didn't greet us in any kind of way. I asked what the soup of the day was and instead of telling me she motioned to the chalkboard on the other side of the room. I asked what it said and she gave me a look like I was not very bright, and I had to explain that I'd forgotten my glasses and couldn't see. All that awkwardness just cause she couldn't speak a few words. Her demeanor made me nervous like I had to hurry to say my order and it ended up with my husband and I ordering the same thing. She rudely said, "So 2 French onion soup and 2 fish and chips" as if we wasted her time by repeating it twice? While we were waiting for our food, she stopped by to give us water and while my husband was in the middle of asking a question.. she began walking away! Poor thing he tried to speak louder as she trailed off. She couldn't even wait for him to finish his question and they spoke back and forth across the room as she replied back to him. The fish was good, fries ok, French onion soup ok. But our waitress attitude was so rude it made the experience and the food completely unenjoyable. It gave me the feeling that tourists are a nuisance and not welcomed. We get that this is a local establishment and it can get hectic when tourists visit, but being from Hawaii we actually completely understand this, but in no way have we seen local places allow this behavior. Please be respectful to all customers!

Vic C.

Yelp
Best halibut I have ever had. The kids got the crab sandwich which was also epic. If I wasn't heading out on a cruise, I would have eaten here everyday. People of Anchorage are lucky to have this little gem of a place.

Eric B.

Yelp
It's a locals joint and that's fine. When we are in Anchorage we always stop in, whether for dinner or just a drink. We first started coming here maybe 20 plus years ago on the recommendation of a friend whose Pop hung out here. We never did run into Frank but everyone knew who he was. The place hasn't changed since! Drinks are stiff.. the cheese is a riot and the food great!

Duane B.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and attentive staff. I highly recommend their French onion soup, baked potato soup and fresh cut French fries.

Tank G.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the tourist area of downtown Anchorage. It has a small dining area, very small. I like to call it cozy. And you will find a full bar with seating. There were no tables available when I was there. It was pretty packed, so I just snagged a spot at the bar. The bar is decorated with stickers of military units and has a fun type of vibe with funny saying posted around the dining area and nostalgic decorations. There is metered street parking available on the street in front of restaurant and within a reasonable walking distance. It has a compact menu with items such as fish, burgers, pasta, salad and calamari. There are also some daily specials available to order. I got the fried oysters with fries. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it was ok. My main issue with the oysters was that they were not cooked all the way through. The middle looked and tasted raw. It may be because they were so thick, but that is still really no excuse. On a positive note, you get a ton of fries with the meal and they were pretty good. The hand cut variety. The the bartender/waitress was so friendly and attentive enough. I would not be against eating here again, but I would keep in mind that the place gets packed (its is tiny tiny), and to steer clear of the fried oysters.

Lucas K.

Yelp
I come up to Anchorage once a month and after a day of flying, I was in the mood for a place I've been wanting to try for several months. I finally made it to F Street Station on this snow day. I knew I wanted to try the Sourdough Crab Sandwich, and it didn't disappoint! I almost ordered an appetizer, but decided I would have the sandwich first and decide if I wanted more food later. I'm glad I didn't order more food. This sandwich was piled high with red crab meat. The bread was soft and toasted. The fries were cooked perfectly. If you find yourself in the mood for some seafood and a sandwich, this does not disappoint and it's plenty of food. If you haven't been to the F Street Station, give it a try.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Best food you'll find within walking distance of a lot of Anchorage downtown hotels. We were in Anchorage for four nights and we ate here three of those. Amazing shrimp and chips! Garlic bread was perfection. Please keep in mind the place is very tiny. There are very few tables and the rest is bar or counter seating around the kitchen. Personally, I enjoyed sitting at the counter around the kitchen, so I can watch the cooks perform their magic. One of the waitresses is a little gruff, but the others were perfectly pleasant. Please don't miss is downtown gem

Spencer R.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer and stayed awhile. Really enjoyed this dive bar and all the airplane related stickers all over the bar

Scott T.

Yelp
Chef Aaron provides food recommendations fit to your style. The second oldest bar in downtown Anchorage AK. The buttered clams is a wonderful choice as an appetizer to share unless you are hangry. Fresh food is what you expect and receive paired with tremendous alcohol beverage selections. The atmosphere is based on an Aviator bar and the nostalgic ambiance brings back history from 1944.

Yelp
You go for the food not the service (not that service is bad just small and always busy). Value exceeds expectations.

Yelp
Started coming back more regularly here now! I figured out that you could ask for the clams to be extra SPICY! They serve the bestttt steamer clams and beer battered halibut. Their caesar salad is really good as well! I usually get the caesar salad with my halibut instead of the fries. Best time to come is right when they open at 11AM to snag a table. Otherwise they're normally always packed. They will let you come in before 11AM, but they won't be able to take your food order until 11AM. You can always grab a drink while you wait though! :)
