"Chicago export Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea, a coffee shop known for its dazzling array of craft-roasted coffee beans, will officially make its debut in Highland Park next week. It's a destination for serious coffee nerds, who can choose from a dozen different types of beans from craft roasteries from all over the country. In Dallas, local roasters Ascension and Greater Goods will be available at the 'brew bar.' In addition to the coffee, Fairgrounds also boasts a lengthy menu of kombuchas, juices, 'elixirs,' and fancy teas. A tight menu of food options will also be on offer for breakfast and lunch." - Amy McCarthy

"Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea, a soon-to-open cafe in the Highland Park neighborhood, will give coffee-lovers the option of choosing beans from more than a dozen craft roasters from across the country. The cafe, which will open in early 2021, is billed as the first of its kind in Dallas, and will also offer a large selection of teas, kombucha and cold brew on tap, and coffee flights, alongside breakfast, lunch and small bites. The company already operates either other locations in Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and LA. The Dallas location, at 4514 Cole Avenue, will be the first in Texas." - Brittanie Shey

Of all of the coffee shops I have been to, Fairgrounds Craft Coffee and Tea is one that I will continue to return to. The staff has been the most inviting and understanding. Taylor makes the best lattes on this side of Dallas and is always looking for ways to perfect her craft , Cristina and Raemi are extremely personable at the counter and don't hesitate to help with key suggestions, and Mars is always creating an amazing brunch for customers. The team couldn't have been better assembled, and this place is a landmark in a great location. Right across from Trader Joe's, you can do your shopping, then come for a chill Honey Lavender Latte, a personal favorite. Their snack options are well made, but the personality, inviting nature, and great options are amazing. Kindest group around making amazing lattes, serving great food, and creating an understanding and inviting atmosphere. 10/10, and I will be back as long as I am in Dallas.

Came here for a quick bite and coffee. The vibes were great. Service was great. And the food and coffee were also great! Dog friendly patio is also a big plus! We got the roasted chicken sandwich and I would definitely get that again. My wife got the dirty chai on tap and she was loving it. I got just a normal coffee and it was solid. Definitively a good spot with great stores in the area to walk to after as well!

First time not impressed, is in a rich affluent neighborhood. But the service and friendly okay, I sat out side the server brings me my frittata no form and no napkins. Then why just say to wait for your food. I got up again and and back inside instead. Over and over I saw the same thing. People getting up from the chair to come back inside. Solve the problem by placing a small tray with all you need on the patio. The inside has over crowded with side couches and table, I literally want to move one of the couches and create a separate sitting area.

Got a strawberry banana smoothie and a mango smoothie and it wasn’t very good, doesn’t taste authentic. Got a grilled cheese, tuna melt, and no meat breakfast bowl and it was pretty below average for my liking. Food came out cold, as did the grilled cheese with the soup it came with. Tuna melt was good! Service and atmosphere is very good For the price it wasn’t worth it

Absolutely love this coffee shop, it’s nicely decorated with a touch of industrial and rustic. It’s very cozy while having a clean atmosphere and vibe to it. I’m a coffee, fanatic and vouch for the coffee itself, and the service is always great even when it gets busy.

First time here. Came for late breakfast. Tried mocha latte, it’s a good mocha but I did ask for a sweet drink and was recommended this and it was not sweet at all. Family tried the cherry lemonade, which was good. And strawberry smoothie and the mango smoothie. They were both not fresh and honestly super bitter, I’ve had my fair share of smoothies and they’re typically only bitter if it’s not made fresh. Also god grilled cheese and tomato soup which was amazing. Breakfast bowl was whatever- just hashbrowns cheese and sauce. Tuna melt was good. Amazing service and wonderful and cute and clean place. Not bad overall but definitely not recommended for 66 dollars.

Last time I mentioned in the survey that there was a shortage of ceramic cups and guess what, they got new ones and plenty !!! Love, love, love that they listen to the customers. This place is consistent with the quality of coffee (top 3 in DFW for me), top 2 for hot chocolate for my kids and hubby love food here. So this place have something for every member of our family that keeps same consistent quality throughout the years

The staff is extremely nice and the drinks are great! I almost always get a dirty chai with oat milk, and they make it perfect every time! To add to my original review, because I’m now a constant regular, I really need to emphasize the kindness of the staff. It rarely happens but anytime I try a new drink and don’t like it, they always offer to make me a different one. It’s such a good community that they have. I’m extremely thankful that this coffee shop is so close to my job.
