The food at Fan Szechuan is amazing! The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for NYC. The service was quick, the place looks elegant although the atmosphere is casual and very nice. My favorite part, besides the food, is that the menu comes in a tablet, so I could see how my plate would look like, something that definitely helped me to make my decision

We were sat immediately and the atmosphere was beautiful and modern. There were many different food options that satisfied all my cravings. The food came out quick and my favorite appetizer was by far the soup dumplings or the sweet and sour slow braised spare ribs that practically fell off the bone. My kids loved the boba drink. Overall a great experience and the staff were incredibly kind and even gave my son a candy.

真的好吃四川餐馆。 Servers are friendly and food is delicious. I really enjoyed the cabbage and beef tofu dish. Reasonably priced and big portions. For two people, we ordered 2 dishes and had ample food to takeout. If you order $50 worth of food or more, they give you fried rice for free. Quality is still good after coming here 4 times in a row.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in Manhattan. The food tastes delicious. We ordered the black truffle and pork dumplings, beef with homemade brown sauce, custard buns, the pretty blue colored signature cocktail, and we also got a 1$ fried rice which came with the entire order. Every item was delicious. The fried rice was one of the best we’ve had.

Fan Szechuan turned out to be a pleasant surprise for a spontaneous visit. Although the restaurant’s trendy decor gave an initial impression that it might not be authentic, the dishes exceeded expectations and delivered on the promise of real Sichuan flavors. For appetizers, the Chengdu cold noodles were my favorite—the aromatic but not overly spicy red chili oil sauce perfectly matched my expectations. The spicy chili sauce wontons had decent seasoning, but the meat filling was quite average. The Mapo Tofu was fresh, tender, and spicy, but it lacked some of the key elements like the numbing “ma” sensation and a rich aroma. The absence of ground meat in the tofu dish was also a bit odd. The diced chicken with crispy pepper was made entirely with chicken thigh meat, which was good but lacked complexity. On the other hand, the spicy fish fillet stood out for its bold and robust mala flavor, making it ideal for those who enjoy strong, heavy tastes. In terms of price, Fan Szechuan offers great value compared to other Sichuan restaurants in Manhattan. The service was friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, I would recommend giving it a try—especially for those craving authentic Sichuan food without breaking the bank.

Amazing new Chinese restaurant in LES! We ordered the Chengdu Cold Noodles, House Special Spicy Roasted Whole Fish, and Roasted Pork Buns. Highly recommend for friends and family. The atmosphere was really nice and staff were very attentive.
