FARM Bluffton

My husband and I have been coming here for years and will continue coming back. Our dining experiences are always great. The menu is not flashy or pretentious but the food and drinks are always delicious and thoughtful. Last night we dined outside for the first time and it was still lovely. I always get whatever crudo dish they have and have never been disappointed. We also love their oyster dishes both roasted and chilled. The brown butter cornbread served in a skillet is always a favorite. The hanger steak was phenomenal. We will certainly be back

We had brunch at Farm after running the Hilton Head Half Marathon, and it completely hit the spot! I was thrilled to try multiple dishes — one of my favorite things to do — and everything was fantastic. We ordered the shrimp chilaquiles, the frittata, the fancy hashbrown, the apple salad, roasted broccoli, and crispy bacon. The apple salad wasn’t what I expected, but it ended up being delicious. Our server recommended the frittata and I’m so glad she did — it was perfect. And the shrimp chilaquiles were outstanding. I’d love to come back and try even more menu items. Also, a big shout-out to our server for being so knowledgeable and attentive with food allergies and making sure everything was safe. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I continually come back to FARM. It is absolutely delicious for both dinner and breakfast! We get excited to try their new menu every time and can’t wait to be back again. We have 5+ visits under our belt and hoping for more! (Pictures are from different menus and different visits)

Heard great things and it really delivered ! Food and server were great. Amazing dishes and very knowledgeable / personable server added to the experience. Atmosphere is nice but basic - no complaints at all however. From apps to desserts everything was excellent both flavor and preparation. Highly recommend !

This place is a must go if visiting Bluffton, SC. We had a party for 45 in their upstairs space with a speciality menu for our group from Texas. Dishes were brought out in family style. Every dish was fresh, true flavors garnished with fresh herbs. NOT oversalted or oversauced ----just fresh. Lasagna, fish, cerviche, oysters, melon with pickeled cucumber. Service was prompt with delightful servers.

Amazing food! What a flavor experience! The orchiette pasta and rib eye steak were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Small quaint dining room with personable staff. Would have ordered another drink but server didn’t ask. It was perfect though! Next time will try dessert.

Had a lovely outdoor brunch experience this afternoon on the main downstairs patio - the food was incredible and the service is always top-notch. My server Molly was knowledgable and so incredibly kind. Andrew, the host, was great too. Can't wait to come back!

This restaurant deserves a 12/10. I’ve dined at this restaurant three times and wanted to leave a fair review. First, the food is amazing. I love that every time I dine here, the menu changes due to seasonal changes/selection. I love trying new dishes & they do not disappoint. Second, the service every time has been impeccable. From the bartender, to the waitress/waiters, to the kitchen staff, they are kind & well mannered. Lastly, the atmosphere made me feel cozy and at home. Overall, this place is wonderful & would gladly recommend this place to anyone. I will return in the near future.

This was our last dinner before flying home, and it was the best by far. We had reservations early on a Tuesday evening. We opted for the tasting menu with optional wine pairings. Portion sizes of each course were just right, not too big, not to small. It is a decent amount of food overall, so come hungry. Prices were on par with other fine dining restaurants. Service was excellent. We appreciated that they were quick to clear our dishes and keep our water glasses filled. Since their menu changes frequently, I won't go into detail about the food, other than to say everything was well-presented and delicious.

Living in New York City I have high standards for restaurants. FAFM is probably the restaurant in Bluffton/Hilton Head that best meets those standards, My father's birthday is a week before Thanksgiving usually. He's impossible to shop for (oh another golf gadget? Boring.), but he does love a good meal. Looking around FARM's tasting menu looked appealing, so I reserved it for my parents and me. FARM is inside of a charming building downtown, with an open kitchen downstairs and a few tables (including a shared "community table"), and an upstairs (I've not been). We were seated fairly quickly and the waitress came over and excitedly explained the menu. We opted to start with cocktails and then get into the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The cocktails were excellent, with my Ode to Cornbread being quite interesting. It felt a bit like an old fashioned but with licor de elote and mole bitters. No sooner had we finished our cocktails had the sommelier (level 2)/GM come over to serve our first glass of wine. I won't go into detail on the wine pairings, but each was well thought out and beautifully enhanced the food. The first course was a winter green salad and beef tartare. The salad was wonderful, with the crisp ham being a lovely contrast with the rest of the salad. The beef tartare was mixed with giardiniera and served with potato chips, which was a fun twist on the tartare. Second course roasted brassicas (broccoli) with miso ranch alongside the wood oven clams. The broccoli has a nice bite from chili peppers, and the miso ranch was a showstopper. My mom had long taught me it's rude to lick plates, I was worried I'd have to remind her. The clams were lovely as well, especially if you get some of the roast pork with it. The third course is when you select your protein, a departure from when we had done the tasting last year. Each protein was tasty, though potentially bigger portions than you'd even want at this point in the meal. The roasted cabbage and mashed rutabaga was a nice side to break up the heavy proteins. Dessert, served with sparkling wine, was a chocolate flourless torte and a s'mores cake. Both were a fantastic end to a lovely meal. Overall, FARM might be the very fine dining on and off Hilton Head Island. The meal was so good my dad is scared to go back in case it isn't as good the second time. Highly recommend if you are looking for something that could compete in Atlanta or New York City.

We were seated quickly and found all the employees so welcoming! This restaurant does Farm to Table right using local and regional produce, products and spirits, too. Everything was DELISH! We were in the mood for oysters and their starter of Roasted May River Oysters with breadcrumbs, country ham, sherry, butter and garlic- fantastic! The Oysters on the Half shell were also yummy and in season! We look forward to their oysters sooner than later!

Finally tried Farm tonight. I have heard a lot of people talk about how wonderful the food is, and I was so looking forward to trying it, but hubs and I both came away disappointed. Overall, our food was fair or good, but not great. Our server was helpful & attentive, but not overwhelming. She was good about making sure our waters were refilled when needed. The only thing that she could have done better would be to explain some of the dishes, since the explanations on the menu were lacking. I am sure that if we had asked her specific questions, she would have been able to answer them, but we just didn't think to ask more questions about ingredients/food prep before ordering. For starters, we considered doing the steakhouse tasting menu, but decided just to order a la carte instead. I really liked the concept of the tasting menu, but many of the menu items just weren't things my hubby or I liked or wanted. Unfortunately, the menu for a la carte is pretty limited. Hubby wasn't thrilled with the entree choices, so he decided just to order an appetizer (ham & burrata with melon) and a small plate (shrimp & rice). The quality of the ham looked to be top notch. The cheese was seasoned with fennel, basil, aged balsamic vinegar, and benne seeds and sat on a bed of thinly sliced cantaloupe. It was served with delicious thick, rustic house-made sourdough garlic bread. He said the ham & burrata & melon was one of the best appetizers he's ever had. Unfortunately, though he did not like the shrimp rice at all. For starters, the shrimp was ground up and mixed into the rice. The description on the menu failed to mention this. The rice had berbere spice, red pepper paste, peanut and benne. He did not like the flavor of the seasoning. He barely ate half of it, which is not typical for him. I am much a more adventurous eater than he is and even I didn't totally love the flavor profile of this dish. Neither of us would order this again. We decided to share an order of the brown butter cornbread. This may be the best cornbread either one of us has ever eaten. The cornbread was perfectly cooked and had a nice crisp top, with the bottom soaking in the cane syrup and sea salt. So, so good! I decided to try the redfish entree, which was served with rice and tomato/okra kimchi. I am not a fan of kimchi or pickled anything, and don't like raw red onion so I didn't really eat any of the veggies, just the rice and fish. The fish was not overdone, but did not have much flavor on its own. My guess is that they expected the kimchi to do the heavy lifting with regards to flavoring the fish. The Carolina Gold Rice did not taste like it had any seasoning; it was very bland. Overall, it was an underwhelming dish, and I would not order it again. Since I didn't think I would like the veggies served with my entree, I ordered a side of succotash. The corn was freshly cut off the cob and was sort of creamed, there were not a lot of butter beans, and I don't know what the heck the "Umami Sparkle" was, but I did not care for it. I would not order this side dish again. We decided to split a dessert and chose the coca cola chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. The texture of the cake was very dense and the texture of the icing was very light. Overall, it was a nice balance and tasted good but was so rich. Definitely glad I split this with hubby, because otherwise, it would have been too much.

The Farm is one restaurant in Bluffton that is consistant . They change there menu based on what it in season . We go for brunch as well and the food is always so full of flavor . There cocktails are always delicious and its all made from scratch. You def need reservations as they are always booked .

The steakhouse tasting menu offered mostly exceptional food, but the pricing was confusing and not at all reflective of the portions. At nearly $90 per person, it's simply not worth it--especially when ordering à la carte provides better value. See bottom for an abridged version of why the rating. --Ordering Confusion & Pricing Frustration The experience started on a frustrating note due to unclear pricing on the tasting menu. The ribeye option reads: "$125 for two $85 each". We (my wife and I) interpreted that as $125 total for a shared 16oz Delmonico steak. I thought we confirmed that, but it turns out it's $85 each--to share the same 16oz steak. At $125 total, it would've been worth it. At $170? Not even close. By the time we realized this, it was too late. We even confirmed this with a second server nearby. The table behind us was also confused. It's clearly an ongoing issue--not clear on the menu, and not well-explained by staff. We pivoted at the last moment before the first course and changed our protein selections. If we're paying nearly $90 each, we wanted some variety. We chose the pork chop and hanger steak instead of the shared ribeye. --Course-by-Course Breakdown (2 people - $85 & $80 tasting menus) Course 1: Spring Pea Panzanella One for each of us. A crisp lettuce leaf filled with soaked croutons, pickled onion, strawberries, green goddess dressing, and pecorino Romano. Very fresh, great balance of acidity and creaminess. Steak Tartare Served atop a delicately layered, fried pomme paillasson (potato cake). One each. Very tender steak, excellent seasoning. The potato cake was crisp, airy, and seasoned perfectly. Course 2: Wood Oven-Roasted Oysters (4 total) Similar to oysters Rockefeller, but lighter and fresher. Two per person. Tasty, but literally one bite each. Arancini (2 total) Fried rice balls stuffed with arborio rice, sweet corn, saffron, bell pepper, and cheese. Wonderfully textured and seasoned. Saffron is unusual in arancini, but I enjoyed it. The marinara was also excellent. Course 3: Main Dishes Hanger Steak ($85) Cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and very beef-forward. Deep red interior, served with a delicious au poivre (black pepper cream) sauce. Knife struggled to cut it, oddly. Heritage Brown Sugar-Brined Pork Chop ($80) Easily the best pork chop I've had. Medium temp, beautifully rendered fat, excellent crust. Deep flavor that made for a memorable main course. Sides Asparagus spears: About 10 thin spears with chimichurri--solid, but the least flavorful element. Crispy potatoes: Four fried wedges, served with shallot crema and dill. Very crispy and tasty, but dry on their own. The crema was necessary. Course 4: Dessert Cornmeal Skillet Cake Disappointing. Dry and underwhelming. The diplomat cream and strawberries were tasty, but the base cake wasn't strong enough to carry them. Chocolate Pot de Crème Fantastic. Rich, salted with flaky sea salt and a drizzle of olive oil--like a cross between mousse and flourless cake. While most of the food was excellent, the tasting menu is aggressively overpriced and poorly communicated. The portions don't justify the cost, and you're likely better off ordering à la carte. With clearer pricing and slightly larger portions, this could be a standout experience--but as it stands, it's hard to recommend. We wouldn't have done it but before we got a clear explanation of how it worked, it was too late and are now out $200+ with tip.. For the price, portions of everything should have been doubled except for the protein.

Simply a fantastic experience - what a great brunch!! Perfectly paced service with a friendly smile. I ordered the fried chicken Kare Kare, with an egg, sausage dumpling, and some strawberry beignets. Execution was simply excellent from personable and prompt service to food preparation and presentation. I can see this as one of our repeat stops during our annual visit.

Awesome place and the food is always exceptional. Have eaten both dinner and Sunday brunch there. Hard to pick which is my favorite.

Hey yall, the decor and atmosphere were great. Everything was nice and clean. I was there for a Sunday brunch and order the short ribs, bacon no sugar, and the red peas. The short rib and grits and the red peas tasted as if someone over salted them. I had the grits to help with the short rib saltiness, but brought the grits home to add some rice. I would visit again. 01/26/2025

Second time was just as good! That statement I am happy to share as my wife and I were worried - it has happened to us with restaurants before, but a truly good establishment is consistent in what it does and thats FARM FARM offers a Quaint and intimate rustic eating environment. We chose the main dining room to see kitchen activity, but al fresco, upstairs and bar dining is available Not necessary to add more to this review as FARM was as good as it was the first time However musts !! If you like sweet (that's me) you must try the cornbread - one word DECADENT! My wife was taken with the burrata- incredibly craveable and the Ballotine chicken was rich with its tomato and goat cheese tart over mushroom dispersion Our server Daphney was excellent and the ownership was happy for feedback

Curious. The word applies to our visit in early January, to celebrate my wife's birthday. We'd heard and read of the reputation of FARM and felt blessed to have secured a table for 5:00p, far earlier than we usually dine, but apparently, tables were scarce! We're lucky! This was to be special event birthday dinner for my wife. We'd read of and heard of the good things to treat ourselves to at FARM in Bluffton. We arrived and the place had just three tables of customers, including ours, now just claimed. We waited to be seated. Once down, we noted that as the evening progressed couples continued to be turned away at the door although there were many tables open. The mystery of the 'unavailable tables' continued throughout our stay. While the server was attentive, the drinks were perfunctory, as were the dishes we ordered. The fact that there wasn't much going on in the kitchen either made us feel that we were there on a night when the 'A' team was not. That made sense of the open tables to keep pesky customers at bay and the production volume of plates down for the kitchen to manage better. I hope this was not a typical experience, but sad that it had to occur on our planned special dinner.

Very popular spot and with good reason. Delicious cocktails and food. Service was friendly and efficient. The only drawback was the noise level.

Fantastic food and service! Have been here two times before and it doesn't disappoint.

I went there with my lady friend and another couple and had a different experience from my previous visit. My lady friend had the cannelloni, which was very spicy to the point that she did not eat most of it. She offered some to the other female in our party of four, who likes spicy foods and she spit it out into her napkin. The other female ordered the pork belly and did not finish it, which is very unlike her. On the other hand, I opted for two appetizers: The tuna and some Oysters on the half shell. Both where good and the oysters where perfectly shucked. I even mentioned to our server Isaiah to give kudoo's to the shucker. Isaiah was very attentive, without being intrusive. I left him a 30% tip. As far as the ambiance was concerned: Unfortunately we were seated upstairs next to a ten women that were celebrating a Birthday for one of them. They were so loud talking over one another that the four of us had a hard time holding a conversation. Based on this experience I will NOT be back.

Reservations are recommend. However, my husband and I went there for a last minute Sunday brunch without reservations. We weee surprised to be seated right away. You have a choice of where to sit; outside upstairs, inside, or downstairs outside. Tho the inside was nice, it was a beautiful Sunday morning so we choose to sit downstairs outside. I do not think you could go wrong with your food choice. Everything was pleasing to eyes and to our stomach. We will definitely come back again. Perhaps for dinner upstairs.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. We live in Savannah, but we had to attend an event in Bluffton, so we made a spur-of-the-moment decision to stop at Farm for dinner. The restaurant staff was great and our waitress (Tierny) was outstanding. We had the burrata and ham, the Little Gem Salad and the Sweet Cornbread for our appetizers and the Pork Ragu for the main course. Every dish was excellent and left us wanting more. For dessert, we opted for the espresso martini and the chocolate empanada, which were both to die for. We will definitely make the 1 hour+ drive back to Bluffton, just to eat at Farm!

Great service and even better unique dishes. These folks truly care about what and how they offer their fare. Yum. A wonderful unexpected experience (I found this gem at the last minute while traveling...on Yelp!) Do not miss it!

Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails, not kid-friendly. We were excited to eat here and had reviewed the menu ahead of time. We assumed that kid friendly food might not be on the website since the restaurant is in a vacation area. We were wrong - the only off menu item or simplified dish for kids is pasta with butter, no other options. This worked for one child and the other just had to wait us out We enjoyed it, but would not recommend for families with strong preference children.

April 7,2024 Brunch July 12, 2024 Dinner Waited awhile to write this review and we had three visits under our belt. The first time we came for brunch with no reservations on a Sunday as we just moved here and had no refrigerator yet at home. Luckily that day we were allowed to sit at the bar to eat. Hubby and I both felt the food was very good. But of course we were extremely hungry. I had an Aperol Spritz and Chicken and waffles. Note very small portion of chicken. Next attempt was Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend there appeared to be many seats available however we were turned away as we again had no reservations. We went to Nectar across the way who gladly fed us and took our money. Our latest time here was this past Friday evening friends had made reservations to sit upstairs at 6:30PM. We were greeted in the usual cold manner and my friend led the charge for the table she reserved. I stayed quiet as this was her choice and I could tell already the hostess here had a certain tone. Once upstairs the waitress got us our drinks. After reviewing the cocktail selection I decided on an Aperol Spritz as that seemed great my first visit and still was. As for the dinner selections the main courses were limited. So hubby and I shared the corn bread with brown butter, corn bread pudding, chicken and dumplings. He had the steak main course I had a piece. It was already cut up which was nice and flavorful. We ordered another dish with mushroom that never arrived until I saw the waitress finally after we were nearly finished and then she brought it out. By that time I already wanted to box my leftovers. We were never offered dessert so I don't even know if they serve any here. When the check came the waitress said they removed the mushroom dish that never arrived not when it did come did we eat. Would I come back? Blufton is a very small town so I say never say never. Also their help could change so there is hope. But definitely would not be my first choice to eat at.

Had a delicious dinner at FARM last night with my husband and dad. Our reservation was for upstairs which has a quieter ambience and felt a little chilly last night; I wish we'd been in the main dining area because I think it would've been a bit more lively and I always like seeing the kitchen. FARM's concept is farm-to-table, so everything is fresh and local - but the menu does change frequently (our menu edition was #685). They also make their own cocktail mixers in house which we had to try - I had the Lemongrass (vodka, lemongrass, lime, St. Germaine, jalapeno) which was very refreshing and summery; my husband had the Down the Rabbit Hole (clarified bourbon, lemon, bitters). Do not skip the cornbread. Served in a cast iron skillet. It's perfection! For dinner, I had the Wood Roasted vegetable Salad which had an AMAZING berbere oil sauce, the Gemelli & Sunday Gravy small plate which was ok. My husband devoured the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with creamed peas and a biscuit with honey rosemary sauce. My dad also enjoyed his Grilled Pork Chop with butterbeans, apples, and sausage. Overall, it was a lovely night. The service was a tad slow (part in course to having to bring food and drinks up from the kitchen, so again I wish we'd been downstairs), but the delicious food and friendly waitstaff made up for it.

FARM is a must try restaurant if you're staying near or driving through Bluffton. We went for Sunday brunch and sat upstairs. We were very impressed by their unique and tasty menu. Everything from the coffee to the bread budding was fresh and delicious. 100% would come back if we're ever in the area again.

Solo diner. I sat at the bar. Cheyenne was a thoughtful and fun bartender. I had an app; sausage griot and wine. Both were fresh and flavorful. Cozy place. Thumbs up.

I came here for a work trip during the tourist off season. I sat at the bar and was presented with the most friendly staff. The inside atmosphere is rustic but classy. You dress up or you can dress a little more casual. I wouldn't wear sweatpants. I wore a vintage tank top and Jean shorts and I didn't feel out of place. There is also outside seating at the front of the entrance. Food: The food here was wonderful! The Corn bread is enough for 2-3 people to share. It's the best cornbread I think I've ever had. The oysters on a half shell I had were very good. I wish I had gotten a lemon slice with them though. That's my own preference! The tempura okra was very good. The sauce that it was laid on was a bit too spicy for me but if someone likes spice then it's for you. The flavor of the sauce was really good though. Lastly the steak tartare was good. I'd never had steak tartare before and I'm glad I tried it. Overall if I ever find myself in Bluffton again I'd love to come back. The area is so quaint and beautiful.

We just moved to the low country. This place is quite special. The food was exceptional with great service. We will definitely be returning here and bringing friends.

This spot was a fun find on a girls trip to Palmetto Bluff. The food was excellent - highly recommend the brown butter corn bread.

So good, crazy good. We got a late seating due to our travel schedule. Thought it might be a problem but it was magnificent. We split their snapper and with a couple of add ons including crab rice. it was great and enough for 2. Delish!

My husband and I had dinner here while visiting Palmetto Bluff/Bluffton. This was far and away our best meal of our trip. We had the steakhouse tasting menu, sharing the delmonico rib eye. We thought the tasting menu was a great deal and was a substantial amount of food for a reasonable price. The first course, which was a beef tartare and panzanella lettuce wrap essentially, was exceptional. The lettuce wrap was fresh and bright, balancing nicely with the heavier tartare. The second course was oysters and arancini. I am allergic to oysters so my husband had my share also and said they were some of the best he's had. The arancini were delightfully crispy and the tomato consome had excellent flavor, although I would mention this was my least favorite of all of the dishes, even though I very much liked it. Everything was just that good! The rib eye was perfectly cooked and the red wine just was a perfect compliment to it. The crispy potatoes and roasted squash were excellent sides. At this point, we were so full we thought we'd have to roll down the stairs, but the desserts were still to come. The berry crumble was out of this world with diplomat cream was something this pregnant lady will crave forever. The diplomat cream was perfection and offset the tartness of the berries- both enhanced by the crumble itself. The flaky sea salt on the chocolate pot de crème was the perfect addition. Excellent iced tea for me and my husband was very pleased with the cocktails and felt like they were generously poured. Service was impeccable. The servers were friendly and attentive, without hovering. We never wanted for anything, even though there were several big parties around us. Our bill was significantly less than we expected after a few days in this town and our experience and food was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Highlights here were the cornbread and the pasta. I recommend sharing so you can try a little bit of everything. Interesting flavor combinations such as vindaloo, crudos and pastas.

Our server, Priscilla, was extremely knowledgeable and joyful. That is a rare quality in wait staff often. The rustic style is inviting. The family style seating makes it easy for a group to enjoy their meal and their companions! I recommend that you stop in a experience the farm-to-table freshness and the people who are a part of this establishment!

On our way out from HHI it was about 1:30 on Father's day Sunday, Farm closes at 2. I called and asked if we could be seated and they said yes. They even called back shortly after to book a reservation and confirm. Walking in around 1:50 immediately felt comfortable and friendly. The open kitchen is really cool and they're a helpful, close-knit staff. A lot of attention to detail, quality ingredients, original recipes. We were the last seated table so saw them start dinner prep - just a hard working restaurant group and we'll definitely be back. Also so reasonably priced.

4.5 stars. Great service. We were not expecting that each of us would receive *everything* on the tasting menu, which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food. Beef tartare was our favorite course.

Just WOW! We went there on the first night of a week in Bluffton. We tried 2x more times to get in as the food was just unreal! Our favorites were the tempura broccoli and cauliflower as well as the Chicken and Dumplings (not at all what I expected but just fantastic). Get reservations ahead of time - very hard to just "walk-in" when a place is both as intimate as Farm and as popular. Reservations needed for both tables and bar. Enjoy!

Food quality is uniformly exceptional. I've been there at least 50 times. No doubt in the top 5 restaurants in Bluffton-Hilton Head market.

Wow! What a unique and surprising experience! we did brunch here and cleaned our plates! each dish had a unique combination of flavors. i had the ham and eggs with a hash brown. my husband had the burger. we enjoyed every bite. servers were great food was hot. we had a great seat outside and the small town ambiance shined through. can't wait to come back.

Excellent! Went to FARM for Mother's Day brunch and we had a great meal and the service was top notch. We will definitely go back for dinner sometime soon. Ambiance was also great with distressed barnwood finishes.

Ambiance is fantastic. Great building and bar. Service was ok. Our waitress was courteous but a little slow. Not sure if having to walk up and down the stairs to the kitchen and bar had anything to do with it and it was not really crowded. Food is good, not great. Its hit and miss with menu items. Corn bread was really tasty and the pork sugo was very good. NY strip was tender but was flavored with chimichurri which didnt enhance the steak. When I think of a good steak, it should stand on its own and the steak didnt stand on its own either. The red snapper pictured was the most bland of the dishes. It came grilled with a mix of beans, peas, pancetta and onions to be some sort of ragu? No seasoning at all on the snapper filet. Whole snapper at many of the seafood restaurants in HH is much better. We also had the crab rice which was incredibly salty and bruatta which was good. The saltyness of the crab rice might have enhanced the snapper if I had mixed them together. My biggest disappointment was the old fashioned in the picture. You can tell by the picture how it tasted. Barely any bourbon and watered down. With an extensive drink menu, I expected the old fashioned to be really good, but not to be. Burnt Church has the best old fashioned. All in all, it was an ok dinner. I would go to many other restaurants before coming back here, especially for a $230 dinner for 3.

Once again, FARM has shown themselves to be excellent at what they do...innovative, high quality, delicious food! It has got to be some of the very best food in the HH area. Their brunch is the best! My husband orders an entree and I order 3 sides and we share. Too much food for us, but that being said, it's a quality vs quantity type of establishment. A type of place that those sitting close by will agree with your "yums" and/or ask what you ordered as the presentations are spot on.

I'm glad that I didn't know anything about this restaurant before going in. They typically have a mix of small plates and appetizers with a handful of entrées. They have a full bar and a great wine selection. I ordered the swordfish, and it was the very best swordfish I have ever had prepared for me. What a delightful surprise! Also, it should be noted that the service was excellent,, even just starting from the way I was acknowledged when I walked in the door to how they gave me a choice of seating and we're very attentive throughout my experience.

So many tasty bites. We ordered a selection of small plates to try. Tempura okra, steak tartare, raw oysters and pork vindaloo. All were fresh and delicious. The flavors were fresh and not overly complex. We left very satisfied. The brown butter cornbread was delicious. Interior is modern farmhouse style.

We were super excited about checking out FARM in Bluffton during our trip to the Hilton Head Area. The restaurant itself is super cute and has a nice modern farmhouse feel. The downstairs is a little snug and has community tables whereas the upstairs is a little more open and has community and single tables. Be sure to visit on the earlier side as our reservation was at 1pm and many of their items were sold out. The food we were able to order was so so good however. Their chicken on the chicken and waffle was delectable flavorful Even thought the waffle itself was only ok. The corn cake pancakes were a huge hit and the strawberry compote added to perfect amount of sweetness. The best thing iPad was the sausage dumpling. So flavorful and the dumpling wrapper was the perfect texture. That was one of the items that they ran out of. The coffee was only ok and they have no plant milks just FYI. Overall the experience was a bit muted due to all the items that we couldn't order, the mid coffee, and the slightly disconnected service but the food was truly wonderful.

Highlight of our trip. Worth going out of your way for. This was the best meal of our trip to both Hilton Head and a Charleston. It is fairly small so make sure you make a reservation in advance. The dining room is nice, with warm lighting and rustic wood throughout. Even the bathroom was really nice. Service was very good and attentive, not 5 star level but does the job. Pretty much everything we ate was really good, you can see many of the dishes in the pictures. The standouts included the amazing skillet cornbread (my arteries can only handle so much of it but we ordered a second round anyway), the hangar steak, the crudo, chicken sausage, fish dishes, and the German chocolate were all great. The hangar steak was incredibly tender and juicy, not easy with a tough meat like that.

If you have a chance to eat here you won't be disappointed. The food is made with fresh ingredients sourced locally and delicious! We had great service and the space is lovely.
