Where to Eat at San Diego International Airport (SAN) | Eater San Diego

"Introduced last year as a new fleet of vending machines with seven locations in both pre- and post-security areas; machines are stocked with chef-crafted salads, grain bowls, wraps, sandwiches, and snacks, and "almost every item on the menu is $10 or less when using its app to order." - Candice Woo

Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi and Daisies’ Leigh Omilinsky Collaborate on a Special Croissant | Eater Chicago

"This local food-tech company, best known for fresh salads sold out of vending machines in airports, hospitals, and other venues, is launching a Steakhouse Chopped Salad at select machines starting in mid-May for $13 to appeal to protein-seeking customers. The rollout follows a broader trend of fast-casual chains adding steak to boost sales; the company's offerings are marketed as made in-house from scratch — fresh salads, plates, and grain bowls using whole produce delivered each morning." - Ashok Selvam

Farmer's Fridge Newark Review - Newark Airport - New York - The Infatuation

"These small but mighty fridges are scattered through various airports, typically filled with healthy grain bowls, salads, and wraps that cost about $10. The meal items themselves range from fridge to fridge, but options like the baja bowl and BBQ ranch salad are easy to eat in a cramped plane seat without spilling ruffage all over yourself and your seatmate. Plus, since you purchase items out of a vending machine, they’re available 24/7." - Anne Cruz

Salad was fresh but the taste felt a bit off. It’s okay overall, nothing special. Decent for a quick meal but not my favorite.

After carefully reading all the Farmer’s Fridge selections available in this kiosk, I chose the Green Goddess Salad. Everything is fresh, the greens are crisp, salad is well-chilled, pecans are fresh, dressing is homemade and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal and will absolutely be eating out of a Farmer’s Fridge during all my future travels. This kiosk is in Terminal E, across from gate E7, at DFW International Airport. This is the healthiest option I have found in all my travels. Mine did not come with utensils, the nearby IHOP was gracious to allow me to have one of their packets either fork, knife and napkin.

The Mediterranean bowl was delicious and was $8.99. The vending machine was very easy to use. I didn't see utensils (honestly forgot to look), but fortunately had just gotten a fork from a Hudson News shop where I had bought a fruit cup. This vending machine was a pleasant surprise. Most people on various eating plans should be able to find something here.

I had the Mediterranean bowl with hummus and it was so fresh and delicious! Please put a Farmers’s Fridge in every airport. It’s my new go to when flying.

Google
Farmer’s Fridge - vending machine for self serving. I was a little worried that the salad would get stuck and won’t come out but thankfully everything went smoothly. I didn’t use the app that they recommended but paid with the kiosk. I think the salad was good, and I felt like I had something healthy to eat rather than fast food burger or fried chicken. They have plates and utensils available as well or you can eat out of jar.

Gosh DANG this is so good! I found one of the vending machines in the airport while hunting for a decent salad at 8 am and WOW Farmer’s Fridge signed, sealed, and delivered 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 the green goddess salad was delicious and made me feel so good! It was so easy to order, especially through the app, and I felt so cool doing it haha. 10/10 would definitely eat again and I wish these machines were literally everywhere! Farmer’s Fridge, I’m your newest biggest fan ♥️

Google
Salad was surprisingly fresh and cheaper than at nearby restaraunts. The nearby McDonald does not have salads. They have a tray there to dump it into and a few seats and phone charging stations right by the vending machine.

Google
Healthiest food in the airport, typically the best quality at a fair price. It’s a vending machine so there’s no sitdown eating, but if you want something healthy in DFW airport, this is it. This vending machine is across from C2, and it’s tucked in a dark space so look for the vending machine on the far wall.
