Fatburger

Fatburger has to be one of my favorite burgers, hands down. I love in n out but the quality of the beef here is what you’re getting. The meat is so delicious and buttery that it melts in your mouth. I love that you can order a 24oz patty burger, tell me another burger joint you can order that at! The staff at this location is friendly and nice.

My go to whenever I'm in L.A XXL combo with bacon and a delicious milkshake. Fresh hot food, friendly service, clean eating area. OMG!!!! Fat burger is a must do if you're ever in L.A. no matter which one you go to the food, staff and the service is all the same. Trust me I've been to them. You won't be disappointed

Burger got way too soggy after 30 minutes. They can def use better buns for the price. But customer service was great. Ask for less sauce on the burger so that you're not left with some soggy sauce that drips everywhere. Parking can suck, depending on what time you go at.

Nicely designed place with good people in the restaurant. However, the burgers are not as good as other fancy burger places. Mustard is overpowering the recipe so it tastes like hot dogs. I am pretty sure some people appreciate the taste but I would rather have Five Guys or Smash Burger.

The staff were friendly, and my burger was delicious! I got the original fatburger with no cheese and all toppings, (Because that's all I could afford) and it DID NOT disappoint. Will be coming here regularly.

Ordered the Large Fatburger Meal For Two with “The Works”. It’s definitely the largest burger I’ve ever had and they still have two sizes bigger than that!!! They also have unlimited ketchup. Just don’t come on your first date because it’s going to get messy!

They screwed up every last one of our orders and took forever to make them even though the restaurant was pretty dead. We had taken it to go and were late for something so we couldn’t go back to get it fixed. Everything was dry and they missed the condiments, missed toppings, added extra premium toppings we didn’t want, overcooked the eggs. Overall poor experience.

Absolutely delicious 🤤 the fries were amazingly crispy, and the burger was flame broiled perfection. Their shakes are to die for, especially the Maui Banana milkshake.

Food was delicious hot fresh and prepared as instructed Service was great!! Nice ambiance 10/10

Fast service, great turkey burger, and sweet potato fries . There are plenty of seats and tables to host a large crown. Also, you are opened late to dinner in.

You can never go wrong with Fatburger. It's still one of the classic burger joints created and made in Los Angeles. Love this location. I have a friend that lives by here. So whenever we visit him, we get burgers lol. Good burgers here and staff. Nice area too. Always a pleasure to eat here.

My partner and I are fans of Fatburger -- great menu, good vegetarian options, and super quick service for the quality of product that we receive. This particular Fatburger has been...not great. We've had repeated issues with items missing from our order, soggy fries on a regular basis, and the service has generally been mid. The restaurant itself is fine: it's clean, no issues with the space itself (although I've never dined in, and I don't intend to do so after reading the comments about the bathroom), but it's certainly not the most warm and welcoming space. I recommend only ordering in person for take-out. While we haven't had *as* many issues with take-out, delivery almost always seems to go poorly with this location (last night, my shake was forgotten and fries were crushed by a burger and were super soggy).

I really enjoy coming to this Fatburger. I feel the burgers are always fantastic, (and you can customize your burger however you like) and the fries (I prefer the fat fries, but the skinny fries are nice too.) are good as well. The employees are nice, and the service is wonderful. The restaurant is always clean, if you want to dine in, that's nice. They are open late, and that's really a plus I enjoy, especially in this part of Palms/Mar Vista. I think the recent bad reviews are clearly from another location, as this Fatburger, I love greatly, and I have nothing but excellent words to say. I definitely recommend this Fatburger.

The fattest of all the burgers!!! They were doing a 420 special for $4.20 for an OG burger. Not a bad deal! Grabbed some fat fries with it and their new coffee shake. Everything was delicious and put me in a foodcoma. Let's go!

Fatburger is fat burger if you know it you know how good it is. Unf this location is a victim to the overpass crowd but we will still come by for a tasty burger. My group last night loved their dinner. I'm just here to post the bun free "skinny burger" because I didn't realize I was getting a double patty Sammy with veggies I the middle. This is a unique idea I haven't seen elsewhere! It was huge I'm eating the other half for breakfast today lol. I would suggest doing this with Turkey too!! Great sweet potato fries and onion rings too :)

There are many Fatburgers, and not all Fatburgers are equal. I prefer this Fatburger to the one on Santa Monica, the Ladera store, or the one in the Marina. This Fatburger puts flavor in the burgers. I had a gooey explosive yummy burger tasting burger here the other day. And the Groupon saved me probably 8 bux on my order. This will be my go-to Fatburger location for the foreseeable future.

The food is good that people are nice and they always have the smile on their face. I have to say I love their fat fries

Disappointed after such a fantastic experience at a Fatburger in another area of town. In kind of a run down neighborhood but that's no excuse. The fries were a little undercooked and the burger, while having a ton of pepper was under-salted. The whole thing was just such a let-down after the other location. Guess I was too hasty on saying I would start going to Fatburger I stead of that other, more famous California burger chain.

Husband ordered Fatburger, no cheese & extra lettuce. Place was empty. He comes home with turkey burger, few shred of lettuce & fried egg. Wrong!!! It's the 4th, a simple order & get it wrong. 40% our orders are wrong. So later days... easier to make food at home. Quit shopping there.

My order of Fat fries are greasy potatoes and cold. I have ordered Fat fries from other Fat Burger restaurants and they were delicious.

Good place to grab a decent burger that's grilled to order, love their onion rings and steak fries as well. Fatburger doesn't feel like the other burger chains, more local and well made, and so much better tasting as well. Convenient parking lot right in front so you can be in and out (no pun intended) quickly as well.

My first time in a fat burger. I have to say the large burger is huge and delicious. I added grilled onions. I drive by here every day. The guys working were really friendly accommodating and nice. Had the milkshake too which was awesome. Only issue is parking but they have street parking up the hill. Could use a walk after eating this monster burger. This place should get better credit.

The LA Times rated Fatburger the best burger in town!? What a joke! This is the absolute worst burger I've ever had in my life. I've had better experiences with microwave burgers from gas stations that resemble rubber gloves, than this ridiculousness! The fam and I ordered 3 burgers with fries & fried pickles, which came out to nearly $50 & had them delivered. None of us could eat more than one bite of this tasteless, horrific depiction of what was described as actual food! My thousand island burger didn't come with the bacon we paid for, had barely a hint of thousand island in it & was absolutely awful! I called, which I never do, but when you drop half a Benjamin & get nothing short of what should be described as crap burgers, I couldn't give them a pass! As nicely as I could, I reordered just my burger that was missing the bacon & the manager was very nice. I drove to go get it & when I arrived back home, was just as disappointed as I was 15 minutes prior, despite the bacon. The buns were stale & falling apart, even on the new one! I will never go back to this spot & perhaps never to another fat burger again.

I have discussed recently that when I inhaled these incredible steak fries in the Brentwood Mart that I thought my relationship with my LOCAL BUSINESS fat fries favorite was over. However, that was a moment of madness. This friendly franchise is soooo close to my home. Who am I kidding? So, 2 days ago, I stopped by at my local fatburger and ordered some fat fries and checked out a few of the new things on their menu, which were lower calorie double cheeseburgers, and even though thin they grilled the patties and of course, that fascinated me... and the people behind the counter are so friendly and lovely, and very competent and expert at their jobs. My fries were fantastic! I slather them with Trader Joe's truffle oil catsup ( I should do a review about that product's perfection) when I got home and they were still warm. Definitely the best Fatburger experience in a long time. Obviously, all of you know I will be back for sure! After all is said and done... a little bag of fat fries is okay once in a while!

I wanna make sure you all know the business contacted me and wants to make it right, they offered to make our order again so that we are satisfied... I can't argue and really like the attempt to make it right, we'll give it a shot. Thanks Fatburger! I will update the stars on our next visit!

I can see why In & Out refuses to sell franchises... they don't want anyone screwing their name and quality up! The burger buns were STALE. The lettuce wasn't fresh. The patty was DRY. The bbq sauces was sour and the ranch and thousand island were insipid. The attitude of the guy that gave me the sauce was terrible. The milkshakes don't come with whipped cream unless you ask for them... We bought 4 burgers, one order of onion rings, an order of fries and 2 milkshakes. Oh yeah only one size is available when ordering milkshakes. Onion rings and steak fries were ok. $60 down the toilet. I should've known this place was a dump just from the exterior. I would've rather gone to shake shack, five guys, in and out, burger lounge, the counter, or smash burger and spend $60. You're honestly probably better at bk or McDonald's... don't quote me on that though since I don't eat fast food at those spots ever. This once in a blue moon purchase is a massive regret for me since I didn't enjoy the food. Neither did the rest of my family.

Very best hamburgers. Huge. Tasty. Choice of type of fries, including steak fries. Good service. Atmosphere of restaurant should be updated. Only complaint is that, like most hamburger joints, the buns fall apart while being eaten because they are too soft

My experience was very pleasant and the turkey burgers is absolutely delectable. Hey compliments to the chef! I'd like to thank the team there. Burgers and these people make a perfect pair. I can eat those burgers until im as full as a bear. Without a care. ; )

Very 1st time trying Fat Burger! Called in an order on a Thursday night. The first attempt, the phone rang for at least 10x before we hung up. Second attempt, someone answered on the 5th ring. We placed our order and waited a few minutes before heading over. We arrived and to my surprise there were 5 employees behind the counter/ kitchen. I ordered the veggie burger combo with skinny fries. I give it a B- I'll give them another chance down the road.

I've been coming here for a long time and the owner and most of the staff are great but tonight was very disappointing. The place is basically empty, one person is eating nearby and the staff clearly didn't have a lineup of orders, Auuusto took my order, she was very polite and friendly but completely punched in my order incorrectly. I did not want cheese on my hamburger, cheese was added to my hamburger and I was charged for it, I wanted extra relish, did not receive extra relish. Again the place was empty, the staff was standing around talking to each other when I came in, zero orders to work on, should not have been hard to get my order correct.

I didn't even get to order because I was shooed away by the man on the register because I politely asked two questions before ordering "are the turkey and impossible patties cooked on the same grill as everything else and do you guys have juice" because this was my first time coming here, I have a pork allergy and my fiancé doesn't eat read meat. A lady walked in after I had asked and was about to place my order. As soon as the man on the register saw her shooed me away and asked her is she was ready to order like I was an inconvenience and he was annoyed I wasn't immediately ready to order which makes sense because like I said I had never been to Fat Burger before. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in. The staff gave me annoyed looks I guess because they didn't want to take another order but they never said hello, asked if I had any questions or if I would like to order. Horrible customer service! Immediately felt uncomfortable and decided I don't want to give me money to an establishment who would hire such impolite, impatient and prejudice employees. I felt judged immediately after walking in before reaching the register. Would never go back! Maybe to another location but certainly not this one!

So the burger I got had frozen lettuce on it, so the bun was very chilled. On top of a bland burger, I found a piece of glass in it. Please stay away

Been coming for almost 40 years. Great burgers and the best, friendliest staff anywhere.

Straight garbage. It's like they hired people from under the overpass to work there. Burger is as dull and dry as my grandmothers you know what, can't believe I'm saying this but McDonald's has a better crispy chicken sandwich than this place, and they don't charge 9$. No wonder this franchise is dying.

I had to go to the bathroom like crazy so I got off the freeway and this was the closest place . I instantly asked him if they had a bathroom available they said yes so I did buy a burger . I've never had one of these burgers before and I'm quite surprised at how good it is and it actually taste like one of the best burgers I've had in a long time . The onion rings are fabulous! does the place need to be cleaned up a little bit ? The windows need to be cleaned and the floor and put more soap in the bathroom absolutely .....but anyone that lets me use the bathroom and gives me good food gets five stars :)))

Fatburger, another reason why Los Angeles has earned the title Burger Town. Each burger is cooked to order, serve hot, juicy, and delicious. In addition to mouth watering burgers Fatburger serves Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Turkey Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, and Veggie burgers, 3 types of French Fries, Sodas, and Hand Scooped Milkshakes. Also a new addition to the menu the Impossible Burger. So if you want a quality upscale burger try Fatburger.

Forgot the lettuce, tomatoes, onions and just gave me a burger with cheese and chili lol terrible ...saw some homeless people refilling their styrofoam cups at there soda counter was disgusted immediately... you can tell the people behind the counter don't have good communication!...and don't believe in team work lol what's going at this establishment then got back on the freeway. I'm so glad I live back in Hollywood lol.

The impossible burger with impossible cheese (5/5) The patty tastes like the patty from a McDonalds big mac. Proof that there was never meat in those BigMacs in the first place. Just kidding. The patty was a little tougher than the McDonalds patty, consistently tougher, like meat that has been cooked too long, but definitely didn't taste that way. I actually very much enjoyed it, and given how the burger is lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, bun, and patty, I don't think it'd taste much different anywhere else. For hardiness you might want to double stack it, but for taste, just a single patty is enough. I think this is the cheapest place you can try the impossible burger at, and this is easily the most meat tasting vegan burger I've ever had. I'll stop by fat burger for the impossible burger in the future if I'm ever doing a meat clense... so, I'm guessing never, but at least I know what the impossible burger taste like! If people didn't tell you, you might just mistaken it for a McDonalds patty.

I ordered an impossible burger and got a beef burger. I called and spoke to the POS "manager" Wilson and all he did was talk over me and say people always think impossible meat is real meat. The fuck...? I've eaten their impossible burger tons of times (literally had one yesterday), the consistency and seasoning of the beef is different, and I'm actually feeling stomach sick after just ONE tiny slither of a bite of the burger because I haven't had meat in a few years -- so I KNOW they gave me a beef burger instead of an impossible. Avoid this place and save yourself the headache, the workers are miserable and useless when they've made a mistake. Getting a refund for something this basic was like pulling teeth, you'd think I had asked the manager to go into his own pockets for the refund. I'm glad to save myself $20 for every time I order here (used to get food here several times a week) and make a real veggie burger at home.

My all time favorite, fast, easy, go to burger joint. Meat is always juicy and tender. I love a big sloppy burger with fat fries on the days I need comforting You have the option of selecting a small to a large burger and the size list goes on Delicious burger made by hard working caring cooks!

*** NASTY EMPLOYEES/ NO GLOVES!*** I placed a postmates pick-up order. After paying for it in the app and arriving at the location, I was disgusted to see that the workers handling the food, use BARE HANDS & NO GLOVES. Even if we were not in this time of COVID, it is still disgusting that your food is being handled & touched by somebody's hands..., no gloves. This was the night crew on 08/14/2020 around 11:30pm. I'm not sure if the manager that works in the daytime allows this (hopefully not), but the manager needs to look into this matter and get rid of the nasty employees. And if you are a customer, I really would advise to eat elsewhere, or literally stand inside and watch their every move to make sure they wear gloves. I picked up my order and threw it right out.

Burger dry (they flip it and then smash the juiciness out with the spatula), buns not fresh, hotdog bun was so stale I couldn't eat it, fries are fine. In-and Out much better tasting and better value.

I thought my days of tasting a nice juicy burger were long gone (I don't eat beef), but with the Impossible Burger, nothing is Impossible. Fatburger now carries the Impossible (veggie) Burger, and it tastes just like meat! I was able to have a delicious Fatburger with all the fixings, and it was glorious.

I ordered a $13 impossible burger. This was a horrible disappointment, and not because of the impossible burger. The burger patty was thin, and overdone on the edges. There was only a sprinkle of lettuce that was less than fresh. They forgot the pickles. It was somewhat soggy. I can't believe they served it like this. This looks nothing like advertised or like it is supposed to.

Had a great pair of original burgers and fries here. It's Fatburger, you know what you're getting, but it's a delicious, greasy burger that will please you and kill your hunger.

Come on!!! It's FATBURGER!!!! Been going since I arrived in LA! 1983! BOY the after club burger was soooo delicious, back in the day!!! LOL! We would go to the original location (no more, sadly) on La Cienega after a night, helped with the hangovers, lololol. Speed up to today, we have had to take a break from each other for years and then we would get back together, lol! Seriously, now my hubby and I treat ourselves every few months and like the location on Venice the best!!! Always greeted with a hello! The customer service is always spot on at this location! Customers talk to each other (or not, no one is offended). The wall of the XXXX burger is fun to look at and who knows, you may recognize a person or two! We were there when 2 female Missionaries saw one of their missionary buddy's on the wall!!! You never know! It was their first time and they were AMAZED at the deliciousness of the fatburger! So fresh is what I say! No matter the time FATBURGER, years can go buy, I am and will always be a fan!

Just got a delivery of fatburgers crispy chicken sandwich, well it was so over fried that it was hard and I was unable to eat it! Fried to a dark brown, maybe a half inch high at best. I don't know how they could let this be served to a customer, it should have been throw out! I'm disgusted. I've has this sandwich before, it was thick and juicy. This location has gotten the simplest orders wrong... I've had deliveries a few times here ordering burgers, once no fry's! Once the bun was so hard I was unable to eat it...

Will never come here again. It took them 30 minutes to make me my plain turkey burger and I was the ONLY one in line. Their excuse was they "lost my ticket." They couldn't even ask why I was standing there so long? I also told them five times no sauce. When I finally got the burger; low & behold it was burned and full of sauce. The customer service here is hideous and the cleanliness leaves some to be desired as well. Also the prices; $9 plus tax for not even a combo. I feel ripped off and annoyed; would never think of setting foot in here again.

I had a turkey burger that I gave special instructions ask for extra mustard which was not provided on my burger but overall burger was good. I dine in the music station was great but the condiments needed a refilling they was out of ketchup which goes Amazing on fries but if you need to use the restroom their is not one. Overall food was ok, service could been better when came to the listen skills

The first time I heard of this place was in The Fast and The Furious and I thought it was a made-up fast food joint. Lo-and-behold, I moved to Socal and have lived next to one for the last 11 years. In the best sense of the term, these taste like burgers you'd have at a backyard grill party. Simple ingredients, cooked well. Our fries were a bit oily, my guess is they were the last of an older batch. They'd have been 5 stars except for that.

If you are looking for a fast food joint with really great burgers Fatburger is the way to go. They are so filling and you can add great toppings including a fried egg! Who doesn't like a fried egg on a burger? The turkey burger is also a great option if you are not in the mood for red meat. To top it off the milkshakes are so refreshing and the perfect end to any meal.

Burger was hot, fresh and tasty. I have been going to fat burger for years. Never disappoints.

Thank you fatburger staff for consistently producing a quality burger. I always go XXL, on the char. I've never had a bad burger from this location. *not every location has "on the char". Going on the char increases the deliciousness in my opinion. Again, thank you fatburger staff for the always satisfying burger. Hits the spot every time.

They make terrific burgers made fresh. The staff is always friendly and smile. That goes a long ways in my book. Parking at times is a bit tight but there's usually street parking on Venice blvd.

The ordering was seamless and make sure you know what type of fries you want. They have skinny fries and fat fries which are thicker boardwalk style fries. They also have onion rings too. I orderes the Oreo milkshake and it was delicious. They put real ice cream and oreos that made the milkshake thick and sweet! I hope to actually order their burgers next time, but do try out their milkshakes!! There is a quirky quote on a poster with a milkshake on it that said: "We have additives, its called a straw" -- brilliant and well said!

I wasn't a fan before but then they came out with their version of a nonmeat burger. The Impossible Burger. Talk about not tasting the difference neither did my system. I was so heavy after. Couldn't digest it. The fries were good.
