"Behind the retro-style green glass doors of this restaurant, set on one of the city’s narrow streets, you will find a unique culinary space, led by brothers Pedro Amorim (sommelier) and Tiago Amorim (chef), who are launching their first joint project here. The cuisine focuses on a single tasting menu, which continually evolves in line with the seasons and the availability of local producers’ ingredients, showcased in dishes characterised by flawless execution and refined taste. For an even more surprising experience, pair each dish with the intriguing wine selection — mostly natural wines!" - Michelin Inspector

"For something a little more upscale but still distinctly Porto, this tasting-menu restaurant run by two brothers (one chef, one sommelier) focuses on local produce and seafood prepared in extremely satisfying ways; the most impressive dish to us was the banana and coffee mille-feuille dessert, which nodded to the chef’s classical background while highlighting flavors of Portugal and Brazil." - Coolstuff Team

We had an amazing experience at Fauno Porto while celebrating my significant other’s birthday. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We opted for the five-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and we highly recommend it. Every dish was beautifully crafted, showcasing incredible flavors and attention to detail. The wines, all of Portuguese origin, were unique and unlike anything we had tried before—an excellent complement to the meal. The service was outstanding—thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. A special touch was when they brought out a candle for my spouse’s birthday, making the evening even more memorable. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the Iberian pork with turnip purée and Madeira sauce—an absolute masterpiece of flavors that left us wanting more. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is a small and intimate space with a warm atmosphere. We loved the open kitchen, where we could watch the chefs at work, and the clean, well-maintained restroom area downstairs. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Porto, Fauno is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

A very nice moment from the aperitif drink to the coffee time. The menu was a great performance with a sharp eye on detail and the service was pleasant and professional. I especially recommend the wine pairing witch results of a very serious work and brings a real upgrade to the experience. Congratulations to all the team. My best restaurant in Portugal !

This restaurant offers a wonderful experience, including an option of a five course tasting menu with matched wines and ports. A real treat.

Very yummy food and very warm service. Small dishes and just the right amount. Try their desert wines.

FAUNO is exactly what you hope to find when looking for a special restaurant with great food and care for both customers and ingredients. It is in a small, pretty street in the center of Porto, with a nice and simple design inside. We think it could feel a bit cozier with softer lights, but it was still a great experience. The team welcomed us very warmly, and we felt comfortable right away. The menu is fixed at €60, with an option to add wine pairing for €40. The food was amazing, very well prepared, and full of details. You can see they really care about using local products, and the quality is excellent. The portions were just right—not too little, not too much—and the timing between dishes was perfect. The wine pairing was really good, and the sommelier explained everything with a lot of passion and care. The waitress who helped us all evening was also very kind and attentive. We highly recommend FAUNO. It is everything you expect from a great restaurant: delicious food, kind people, and a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. They want to make fine dining more accessible, and they succeed! We will definitely come back.

This was a highly enjoyable dinner in lovely surroundings and fantastic service. The tasting menu was very well balanced, with locally sourced ingredients. The yoghurt bean salad a fresh start, lovely subtle flavours in the blue fin tuna, the sea bass was perfectly cooked and with a great matching fish stew, and the steak was a beautiful piece of meat with a light mushroom sauce. Knowledgeable sommelier advised us perfectly, and the service attentive. Would recommend to visitors. Well priced.

We were a little disappointed with the place, we received a lot of recommendations and we arrived expecting a special culinary experience, but in the end most of the dishes on the menu did not impress us. Asparagus salad anemic, the fish that was cooked was great but was tasteless and the steak was too dry and lacked sauce. The waiters were a bit tired and didn't smile at all. The investment in the place and quality and fresh ingredients is evident, but there is room for improvement

Great tasting menu and wine pairing. I stayed hungry a little bit though so don’t go there if you are starving. Our table was a bit wonky and the atmosphere could be slightly improved (e.g. lighting was too strong IMO). Anyway overall decent experience.
