"Feroce is in the Moxy Hotel from the people behind Tao, but there are no Champagne sparklers or life-sized animal statues here. That’s because this Italian spot is also a collaboration with the owner of Antica Pesa and has more in common with that low-key-by-Tao-standards restaurant in Williamsburg. Feroce may not be a destination for its production value, but it’s a good place to keep in mind if you’re looking to have an upscale dinner near Penn Station. Focus your attention and stomach space on the housemade pastas, like the casarecce with perfectly cooked bites of octopus. During the summer, sit at an outdoor table in the small courtyard and drink any of the four types of negronis on the menu." - Matt Tervooren

"Located at at 105 West 28th St., near Sixth Avenue, the main-floor restaurant Feroce Ristorante will serve regional Italian fare from throughout the country, like pappardelle al cinghiale, a pasta served with wild boar shoulder and sausage ragu, according to the Moxy website. It comes from Tao Group and Francesco Panella of Antica Pesa, which has locations in Rome and Brooklyn." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Google
Unique, little fancy authentic Italian restaurant. Great food but the service wasn’t the best. We waited almost ten minutes to get menus and order a beverage. They offer a bread service. The olive bread was AMAZING! And the dressing on the salad a sherry vinaigrette was the best dressing I’ve ever had! The entrees were both very delicious as well. The place was pretty busy but everything took long and especially to put our order in.

Google
A great time at Feroce last night. Craig and our Sommelier took excellent care of us with food and wine. The eggplant appetizer and veal chop were hits. They were only open a week, but seemed like a wonderfully organized and experienced restaurant. Looking forward to going back soon.

Google
I left a FIVE star review of Feroce’s Caffè several days ago and decided it was so good that I wanted to try their dining experience. Here we are with another FIVE stars. Authentic. Fresh. Organic. Technique. Presentation. Complexity of Flavor. Service. Atmosphere. From the management, to the kitchen, to the front of house this restaurant has it’s act together.

Google
cutest lil caffe ever. the ambiance is unmatchable. cappuccino I had was AMAZING, however, the croissant was a little stale.

Google
The services was exceptional and the food was delicious. In addition, I also liked the ambiance. My sushi roll was 34 dollars which I thought was a little expensive. It was delicious though.

Google
My girlfriends and I stumbled onto this gem in Chelsea this past Sunday. Please go for Sunday Brunch and get an "Italian" Bloody Mary (or 3). The olive bread and the frittata with tagliatelle pasta were over the top. The jazz band was pure talent. The manager Manuel was so kind and accommodating. The service and staff - perfect (especially the gentleman pictured.) Just go!

Google
I had a late reservation, my server seemed tired or bored.. he brought the food 5 minutes after we made the order... I was expecting fresh made Italian tasty food..

Google
My girlfriend and I had heard about this place from friends and decided to stop by for lunch. A couple of great cocktails and pizzas later and we're ready to come back for dinner next week. Great food, ambience, and service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel affiliated with this coffee shop. The bakeries are DELISH! The coffee wasn't too bad. Coffee is complimentary for those staying at the Moxy. A beautiful hotel FYI!!!

Meghan B.

Yelp
I've only visited here on the ground floor- where the coffee shop is. It's a great place to have a work meeting, charge your devices and have an iced tea or some other beverage. I love their tropical green tea- it's sooo flavorful.

Yelp
I love pretty much all Tao Group restaurants and I definitely had to try Feroce, the latest addition to the family, when it opened! Located in the new Moxy Hotel in Chelsea, the restaurant itself is elegantly decorated and transports you to the Italian countryside. The menu consists of many classic Italian dishes, although with a slight carnivorous tilt - my only complaint is that I wish there were more seafood and/or vegetable options! Nevertheless, my meal was delicious - I got the Fettuccine All'astice, which consisted of fresh fettuccine noodles in a fresh and light tomato-infused sauce. I often come across pastas that are too creamy, but this one had the perfect balance of a sauce that was flavorful yet not too heavy. Had a great experience overall at Feroce, and wouldn't expect anything less from a Tao Group restaurant!

Linda D.

Yelp
Excellent. Had a drink and some pick ons before going out. Pigs in the blanket and charcuterie board! All was excellent

Yelp
Upfront - the food was pretty good, and this review is mostly concerned with the service, which was bizarre and poor. Came with a table of five for lunch. All five of us ordered the lunch prix fixe - essentially an app, a main, and a dessert. The dining room was mostly empty, maybe 3-4 groups in the entire restaurant. So what happened next was bizarre. They came out first with four plates... and just left. Apparently it didn't strike them as odd to serve four plates to five people. We had to flag them down to point out that one of us didn't get our food. In addition, for no reason that we could tell, they brought the main for one person and the apps for the others. Ok, so that problem got resolved, the extra app was brought out, all is good. They clear the apps... and we wait. A busboy comes by and asks if we are finished? No, we still have two courses. About 20 minutes later, I finally flag down the waiter to just ask 'are the mains coming'? He rushes off and then assures me they're on the way, but I'm nearly certain someone literally just forgot we had more food coming, which is bizarre. As I mentioned, there were 3-4 tables full in a room of maybe 50 tables. Not sure how he'd forget. So the mains come - except for one guy who already got his main, so they brought his appetizer - and they forgot the same person's item AGAIN. Literally again they carried out a tray of four plates to feed five people and nothing appeared wrong to them. Once again, we had to point out we needed an extra dish for the fifth person. Dessert, thankfully, was uneventful. It's a shame because most of the food was tasty and well-prepared, and I enjoyed it. But the service was so disorganized, slow and forgetful that I can't really leave a good review.

Yelp
Feroce is a decent-great spot that will ultimately struggle to compete with comparable Italian spots because of the restaurant's location. The service - from top to bottom - was phenomenal. Matt, our waiter, was personable and professional. The food was great (4.5 stars). The salad and dessert were unremarkable, but the main course pasta dishes were excellent. The freshly grated parmesan/pecorino and freshly chopped peppers that were offered table side was a great and delicious touch! I was disappointed that the table of three next to our table of four were openly juuling in the restaurant. It was very obvious and occurred for at least 25-30 minutes so it's unfortunate that the restaurant didn't intervene ever. I'd recommend requesting a table in the indoor/outdoor area as it looked beautiful!

Chris M.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and had a dual app dinner. Prosciutto and buffalo motz salad, and a spin on eggplant parm. Both were delicious. Cheese I think was made on site, and eggplant was firm and not greasy. Went back the next morning for coffee and an almond croissant, and was glad I did. Menu has a lot of options, and it is worth going back. Atmosphere was great, I enjoyed the decor. Bartenders and hostess were all friendly and accommodating.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Great restaurant week menu and great service as well. We got the eggplant appetizer and the Mozzarella and Prosciutto appetizer and they were both amazing. For entrees we got the bucatino and pancherro for our meals. Lastly the cannoli and tiramisu for dessert. Ask for Cutis he was great!!!! Will be coming back soon

Paul D.

Yelp
We were transported back to Tuscany! the food, service, wine, ingredients, and grappa were all excellent! The Cinghiale was heavenly! Can't wait to go back - and soon!

Big Willy S.

Yelp
Had an amazing first experience at Feroce. Make sure to ask for Jessica, she was incredible. She paid attention to details and made note of a potential allergy. Food was absolutely delicious, and made with the freshest ingredients. Met the manager Manuel, he came to our table to confirm the extent of a food allergy which we have never experienced such professionalism ! Wishing the best success for Feroce. Yelp
Feroce is a classy modern Italian spot in Chelsea. A few of my friends grabbed dinner here and it was packed on a Tuesday night. I would suggest making a reservation in advance or sit by the bar. I ordered the Fettiuccine Ai Frutto Di Mare which was good. I think the next time I go will try the Pachero Al Pomodoro as it was the crowd favorite. The food is well priced for the level of service and ambiance of the place. I would recommend Feroce for dates or group meet ups.

Camilo C.

Yelp
Terrible experience. Had reservations for anniversary dinner weeks in advance. Waited for an hour while having overpriced drinks at their bar only to be told our table was still not ready because "we're running short on napkins". I can do with the delayed table and the overpriced drinks. The lame excuse was enough to send me looking for a different place to have dinner. Thanks for nothing.

Jackie H.

Yelp
I had dinner here this evening with some friends. This place has potential - the ambience is great, the food was tasty, but the service was truly bizarre. I think about six different people assisted our table. There was nothing wrong with this, but none of them seemed to communicate with one another. For example, the man serving us bread was knocking elbows with the woman pouring us wine. My friend received two new forks without using the old ones. When we ordered a second bottle of the same wine, they brought out a new glass for the friend who had received the unsolicited new fork. We appreciated their attentiveness, but it was a bit overwhelming. They were trying hard, but there was a lack of gracefulness that was distracting to our meal.

Yelp
My wife and I were in town for our honeymoon June 8th - 15th and stopped in here several times. I can only comment on the chocolate cake because this place was only a few doors down from our hotel and we would stop for cake and glasses of milk after a long day of exploring the city. Such friendly service and the cake is absolutely delicious!! Kudos to the staff for doing basically a custom order of glasses of milk!!

Christopher M.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service! We were a party of 4 who arrived about 20 minutes early to our reservation and were still seated promptly. Our waiter was top notch and gave great recommendations for beer, cocktails, and food...and never had a problem answering any questions about the menu. From his suggestion for apps we had the eggplant and the meat and cheese platter, both were excellent. I had the pappardelle, it was amazing. Tons of flavor and the pasta was made perfectly. My wife had the sea bass that was seasoned and cooked beautifully. Our friends had the ravioli and chicken dishes, which were great. Dessert was cannolis, tiramisu, cream and berry tarte, and gelato...which were all wonderful! Feroce made sure we were taken care of, we had a fantastic evening!

Sophie C.

Yelp
What a disappointment! It all started with us waiting for 10 minutes for the menus after we got seated. We ordered our wine, 3 appetizers: fried eggplant, tuna tartar, octopus carpaccio, and 2 entrees: bucatino with tomato sauce and guanciale, and the branzino to taste multiple dishes. The appetizers were pretty good: fried eggplant dish was reach and tasty, tuna was light and fresh, the carpaccio was a bit disappointing as the octopus was cut much thicker than you would expect. While we were still on our second appetizer our pasta came out. Of course we told them we were not yet ready. Waiter looked annoyed but took it back. Then finally after we were done with the apps the pasta arrived and it tasted horrible, had an oily bitter aftertaste, you couldn't taste anything else but burnt fat. Had to send it back. The waiter suggest in a very abrupt way that their best pasta was paccero with tomato sauce, we said ok let's try it. While we were waiting for the pasta our fish arrived. The kitchen was totally disconnected from what was going on in the dining room! Were they trying to turn a table quicker? Perhaps, and in a not very elegant way. Such a mess! We finally got the new pasta and it was so bland, very mediocre, was missing salt and other seasoning for sure. The branzino turned out to be a pretty small fillet that was also missing flavor. The side beets were also just bluh. How did the chef let these items get out of the kitchen? The highlight of the night was Tiramisu! Great job pastry chef unlike others. Giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because of the delicious dessert. Overall wouldn't recommend sitting down for dinner there. Very poor experience including both food and service for the price they charge.

Scarlett C.

Yelp
Sat in the bar area and had two different pizzas and drinks. The pizzas we had were Amatriciana and Zuccona. Both were delicious and I highly recommend trying them! As good as Marta.

Olivia L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while staying at Moxy hotel. Loved the ambiance. We sat at the tables by the bar. They had the front garage doors open which provided a nice indoor/outdoor vibe with fresh air. The food was stellar! The lobster tortellini was so amazing. I could eat it every night. The only thing wrong with it was that there was only 6 tortellini but I wanted So much more because it was so good. We also got the pollo dish which was also very delicious, the sauce was great. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because the service was very mediocre. We had like 3 different waiters and the first one was not good. Super slow, didn't check on us, I asked for bread and he forgot about it, and never refilled waters. Our other servers seemed much better but service was still slow and the place wasn't busy so didn't make sense. We got canollis for dessert, also delicious. I'd definitely come back just for the food.

John R.

Yelp
Outstanding service. These folks were attentive, aim to please and knowledgeable about the restaurant offerings. Food was fresh and hit. A decent wine list and great selection of top shelf.

Michael C.

Yelp
When we sat down, I asked for a Select Aperitivo Spritz. Our server checked with the bar, and returned to say, "We only serve Italian aperitivo.". Select is made in Venice. *Sigh* Beautiful space, with friendly and attentive service. On to the food. I had the pacheri, my wife tried the risotto. Both dishes were flavorful and well-executed. For the price, though, portions were small. About a 400% mark-up on wine, so be prepared for sticker shock with the wine list. Our $80 bottle retails for $21. Overall a decent experience, but nothing blew us away. May be worth a second look for the dinner menu, but lunch left us ambivalent.

Cecilia O.

Yelp
The pasta here were soo good!! I got the TAGLIOLINO GRANCHIO E LIMONE (picture) and i wanted more! My friends got the FETTUCCINA AL CONIGLIO and that was AMAZING. The cocktails are strong and well done. Definitely a spot to check out and the service was impeccable

Sinan Z.

Yelp
The pastas here are so delicious! Highly recommend the octopus pasta and the squid ink pasta! The branzino is also a solid choice, but the lamb chop lacked flavor

Yelp
I keep coming back to the Moxy Chelsea Hotel because of Feroce Restaurant. A lively, trendy yet intimate dining destination fusing Italian traditions with contemporary refinements, Feroce - a new concept from legendary chef and entrepreneur Francesco Panella of Antica Pesa in Rome and Brooklyn - brings innovation to Italian regional dishes. They focus on great ingredients, impeccable yet friendly service, beautiful presentations and an impressive list of wine/cocktails/amaro/grappa (including creative and tasty variations of the classic Negroni and Aperol Spritz). I travel to New York for work almost every month, and despite the fact that the rooms at the Moxy Chelsea are a bit spartan, I keep coming back to the Moxy (and recommend it to colleagues and friends) because of Feroce bar and restaurant.  Bottom line, you don't need to go to Italy to taste authentic (yet modern and refined) Italian food paired with exceptional wine and cocktails.  Before I go, I have to give a big shout out to the manager Ettore, and the sommelier Aygul who do an amazing job, every time.

Mary F.

Yelp
Wonderful! Amazing chicken dish, rice balls & fried mozzarella! Cozied up in the corner of the garden room! Close enough to enjoy the vocalist and her ensemble! Champagne - Draft beer!! Perfect NY Sunday afternoon!! Cheers

Nicole L.

Yelp
Really nice space! The food and service were great. We tried five different pastas and numerous other dishes, and our favorites were the eggplant and ravioli. Minus one star because it was SO HOT in the restaurant! It's hard to be hungry when it is too warm to he comfortable!

Bruce M.

Yelp
This is a very elegant yet modern hip restaurant. Front area has bar and high top seating with food service. I was very impressed by the service and food. I have been to italy numerous times and this is upscale Italian food like you find at top places in Italy. Service was prompt, friendly and informative without being overbearing. Water service was lacking if that matters. The grilled artichoke appetizer was really good. Nice char on the fresh chokes, cut into easy to eat sizes which I liked. They had a perfect "bite" to them which is hard to do. Some places the chokes are stringy and tough and other places are overcooked. These were spot on. Nicely dressed with small arugula and parm/reg cheese and a light olive oil dressing. Hit the spot all around. Ohhh... but lets not forget The Bread. Yes, it is complimentary ( I say that because more places are charging for bread now). Expecting basic bread then? Well surprise! This place has a selection of three different types, offered up to you as you prefer to choose. And I chose all three! The house made focaccia was super fine. Hot out of the oven, crisp exterior with a nice crunch and saltiness the italian way. Other breads ( multi olive and a country white) were equally impressive. All different in texture and flavor. I'd come here just for the bread. Also you can select from some fresh peppers of multi colors as well which is a nice touch I have not seen before. House Chianti was very nice indeed with a standard size remeasured pour and better than many I have had. The pasta I ordered was a fettuccine with a rabbit ragu. I have had rabbit before and if not prepared well it can be a problem with off gamey flavor. But this was one of the most savory, rich and dense rustic sauces, more stew like, than I have ever had. Not a traditional americanized meat sauce. This was something I have also had in a small town in northern italy and this was better. With an abundance of a unique olives and lots of them, it was savory, salty and had a bit of sweet undertones. The rabbit was plentiful, tender and rich with no off taste. However, there were a few small pieces of bone in the meat which is unfortunate. But I had the same thing happen in Italy, so I guess it's that authentic butchering thing. So bite slowly and you will be fine. Pasta was cooked perfect and was clearly made in house. All in all this place was way better than I was expecting, so it notches the 5 stars.

Benjamin C.

Yelp
Despite having a reservation, we waited 10 minutes at the host desk just for someone to come. No one was there. We eventually flagged a waiter, who wasn't thrilled to be doing the non-existent host's job. While polite and competent, the waitstaff was equally unenthusiastic about serving us. Lastly, there was a random test fire alarm test, because it's in a hotel. First time I've experienced that a NYC restaurant. It was a slow and highly intrusive process. Food is very good and the place is pleasant to be in. Questionable value given the rest of the experience and definitely not worth it for a business lunch.

Alex C.

Yelp
Great Food, Bad Service.... what's more important the food or the experience? #Feroce at the #MoxyHotel we will definitely come back for the food and the vibes but this place needs to work on the service! All the food tastes authentically imported Italian. We had the prosciutto/mozz, eggplant, and artichokes to start all very good, we ordered some drinks both came out wrong and then had attitude from our waiter when we mentioned it was wrong, but overall in our case the good food beat out the bad service.

Dana K.

Yelp
Wow. Staying at The Moxie so we thought we would have a drink or coffee...the menu looked interested so we ordered the prosciutto Mozzarella and the smoked duck breast with figs, almonds and mustard ice cream...we were blown away by the deliciousness. The duck is a must have app.. we decided to share the sword fish.. another wow. Incredible flavors and perfectly prepared. Presentation and service impeccable.

Sofia M.

Yelp
I left a FIVE star review of Feroce's Caffè several days ago and decided it was so good that I wanted to try their dining experience. Here we are with another FIVE stars. Authentic. Fresh. Organic. Technique. Presentation. Complexity of Flavor. Service. Atmosphere. From the management, to the kitchen, to the front of house this restaurant has it's act together.

Wayne G.

Yelp
Went for a late lunch -the room is open / airy and quite nice , sat in the back terrace -so comfortable and peaceful didn't want to leave Staff excellent/ service A+-food selection not your ordinary Italian -complex flavors work extremely well. Makes one almost forget you are in Chelsea and not Europe

Chris C.

Yelp
From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, the service was A1! Food was excellent as well as I highly recommend trying their Red Sauce which is homemade. Delicious Sauce! Being in the service industry, I tend to appreciate good service and this place hit the nail on the head. From A to Z they were on top of everything! We will be back and thank you Feroce for a delightful evening!

Kealani S.

Yelp
OMG. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC. It's located at the Moxy Chelsea- also adjacent to the Fleur room (hit that after for great drinks and an amazing view!) feroce is managed by the TAO group so you know there is a certain high standard-- and they don't disappoint, Manuel the manager is absolutely fantastic, attentive, and amazing. The pomodoro is my favorite, along with the eggplant Parmesan and the ridiculously delicious melon burrata. It's unique and delicious. The space is gorgeous and the booths are great to tuck into with a group and enjoy the delicious food. They have roaming waiters with a variety of gourmet breads as well- and grab the tarte for dessert before you hit the fleur room!! Dress up and enjoy!

Caterina L.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and decent pastas, but the staff had a bad attitude and this resulted in a overall poor service. Called the restaurant ahead of time to inquire about the corkage fee to celebrate a special occasion. Upon confirmation by the restaurant, we arrived to Feroce with the wine and to our surprise were told the corkage fee was more than double. The money wasn't the issue, the way they handled their own mistake was. They made zero attempts to remedy the situation, or even apologize. The beverage director simply disappeared. Let us remember that great customer service is essential to a restaurant's success.

Ross D.

Yelp
This was my second time at Feroce (means fierce Italian). I had an amazing experience both times. The service was outstanding - which is very important to me. The manager came by a few times asking how things were. Everyone was very friendly. My favorite dishes are the fried eggplant app, the bucatini pasta, and the pasta dish with the fresh lobster (the lobster in the pasta was incredible). We had the chicken and the short rib beef as the mains and they were amazing as well. Wine list is extensive. They also have this half outdoor area where it looks like you're sitting outside- didn't get to fully check it out but it looks like a great spot to host a summertime dinner party. All in all I highly recommend and will be back!

Tiffani S.

Yelp
I met a friend here for dinner last night and we asked the host where the bar was located for pizza and drinks. She however informed us to sit at the bar here. After we ordered drinks and saw the menu there was no pizza available and were told that's the bar on the 2nd floor. Wtf? We were still wanting food so we ordered some of the pasta. Food was fine but nothing to write home about and certainly not worth our $100 bill for 2 drinks and 2 pasta dishes. Wouldn't be back.

J M.

Yelp
New offering from the Tao group. The food was very good and the service was great BUT it's hard to enjoy a meal after being robbed at the bar. We were the first couple and order two straight forward vodkas on the and the bill with tip was $49! I watched the bar tender pour it and it was barely a shot. They use these very large ice cubes to make it seem like you are getting more alcohol. I felt like I was In Utah. I was complaining to my wife who said forget about it But then we sat down to dinner and the other couple orders 2 martinis which are similarly priced.... this couple complained as well and we all noticed that it was the smallest martini glass in the city The wine list , although I did find one hidden value (which once they realize it will raise the price!) was full off wines over $500 After people in the street were complaining about the same things!!! This restaurant is not going to survive even with good food as customers will feel they were ripped off! Won't see me going back

Barb B.

Yelp
Best authentic Italian meal I've ever had... anywhere. Started with the Prosciutto and Buffalo Mozzarella... delicate mozzarella, (I know! But it was heavenly!), peeking out from under ribbons of thinly sliced prosciutto, complimented by aged (80-100 yrs?) DOP balsamic and a wonderful basil emulsion. Followed that with the Fetuccini al Ragu d'Anatra (homemade pasta, duck ragu, and crispy duck prosciutto (get the theme of the evening?). It was hearty but not heavy. Topped with the perfect Parmesan cheese whose name, unfortunately escapes me but, when the waiter brings you a choice of two, he will advise you against the Reggiano in favor of this one. Apparently, when you grate the Reggiano, you lose the granularity that makes Reggiano so interesting. And that's another thing; they explain everything you're eating - its origins, the aging process, etc a in detail when it's served. I loved learning about the history of the food I was about to consume! I paired the meal with a lovely Valpolicella and some Pellegrino and, after all of that, had to decline dessert. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a hidden gem! If you like - no, Love Italian, you can't miss this experience!

Alex B.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day. Our waiter was great. They had a rose for my valentine and I was a little jealous. Who do they think they are flirting with my girl like that? 4 Stars!!

Sharon H.

Yelp
Good BUT could be GREAT! Love the ambiance and the style of the space, but the service and food fell short. Our pizza came out cold and our waiter was out to lunch, inattentive and uninterested in being there! Restaurant team were scrambling to make a table for 8 so like dummies my husband and I offered to give up our seats to eat our dessert at the counter or another table. Taking us up on our offer we sat at the end of a communal table with a family of lots of kids....we love kids we have some of our own, but the waiter wasn't aware that we moved and when he served us said nothing. A thank you would have been nice and maybe and just maybe a thank you and dessert on the house for the cold pizza, for being inattentive and heck for being nice enough to move to a crappy table so that the restaurant could make money to seat a table of eight.

J D.

Yelp
Very high quality food. I had the roasted chicken and a arugula+artichoke salad. The food was amazing! The staff was very attentive - i sat at the bar and the waitress toped my water off every few minutes. The menu is very specific not a huge array of choices but what they have will all tantalize. The prices are high but given the setting and the food, you get what you pay for.

Bill M.

Yelp
Mediocre. It was convenient and the mixed seafood grill sounded good. The seafood was inconsistently prepared. If I didn't spend nearly $60 for a mediocre meal and basic glass of wine it would have been okay. But, considering the price and quality, I will not return.

Davide C.

Yelp
Great ambiance! Chilly and classy. Tasty dishes with all products coming directly from Italy: we had the bucatini alla matriciana and spaghetti with come dj rapa (broccoli rabe) and bruttata. They offer some of the best Italian wines, and the somm! She is amazing: very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Also great bar service. I'm definitely coming again for their secondi.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
WORST ATTENTION EVER. The waiter was a huge asshole. I was visiting new york with my friends, we were a big party so we asked him to do 3 separate checks for us. He was like no thats impossible whatever and we were like literally its not that hard. That way it will be easier for you. Then he comes back with a bill with basically a check for every item, and we were like what it's his deal!? Point is, that the food was actually pretty good, but i would go again just cause of the service. What a shame!

Miggy F.

Yelp
Great breakfast place! We ordered the frittata and the prosciutto toast and were both excellent! The cappuccinos are always on point and their pastries are delicious. We got the almond croissant and it was excellent!

Rigo S.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner with friends here. Francesco and his staff greeted us and took care of us all night. He chose a wine to pair with our dinner. I started with the prosciutto and mozzarella. Next we had calamari (yum!). From there, I had the lamb which was absolutely delicious. I tried the ink pasta and had some veal parmigiana. We had a few desserts and ended with a delicious espresso. I definitely recommend having dinner here. I will be back soon! Thanks Francesco!

Took a friend out for her birthday here- I could be a bit of a pain w/ the table I sit at- the staff was very accommodating to my request for a different table. - the place had nice finishes- outside space wasnt available (private party), but looked nice as well. We started w/ the tuna tartare & grilled artichoke dishes- I loved the tuna tartare- was the best tartare I've had in a while- very fresh/ tasty. For my entree I had the snapper w/ eggplant - tasted delicious & was a good portion. Overall - I was happy we went there.

Yelp
Heard a lot about this place decided to check it out. The place was empty on a Sunday and even though it was empty the service was slow. And the waiter was extremely rude for dessert I ordered something not sure what it was but the crust was stale and it tasted bad. The cappuccino was also not made properly the foam was like soap foam and not creamy. I tried calling the waiter over and he was just standing around after 20 minutes he came around and I explained that the dessert tastes weird. He was extremely rude and said well that's how it supposed to be and he's like well you already took a bite. Well how am I supposed to know if something tastes bad if I don't try it. He gave me attitude and said I'll talk to the manager and walked away. I don't recommend this place at all.
