Drink 4.5/5 Value 3/5 Totally love that they offer so many different Vietnamese coffee options here! I noticed the $8.50 price tag on the Hanoi Egg Coffee but went for it anyway. The coffee's flavor was bold, and that egg cream was perf

Google
Wanted to try a new coffee spot and had heard good things about this place! Very cute inside and all of the staff were super sweet. Decided to try something new and was pleasantly surprised by the Hanoi Egg! It was delicious, almost tasted like tiramisu! Definitely recommend!!

Google
Visited on their opening day, surprisingly not a long line and very friendly and fast service! The store deco is white and blue which is very friendly to the eyes. Has many specialty coffees, you can definitely find one you love! I got the coconut slush coffee which was very good and refreshing, very nice to have on a hot day. It’s a bit too sweet to my liking and will ask to adjust sweetness level if possible next time. But very tasty coffees and cute place!

We loved this place while visiting NYC. I ordered the pistachio and it didn't fail. So delicious! The staff was great. There was a small seating area inside and a couple of tables outside. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Google
If you’re looking for seriously strong and delicious coffee, you have to try Fifth Sip. So glad to have such unique coffee in this area. The spot next door is super rude and overly sweet. Fifth Sip has some truly authentic Vietnamese coffee and fun flavors that I haven’t found anywhere else in NY. Everything from creamy to refreshing drinks. My favorites have been the black sesame viet coffee and the coco americano. Love to see a small business showcasing culture.

Google
Randomly craved a pandan latte post gym and it was great! Perfect for a quick grab and go there’s limited seating. I had some time before my lunch meeting and they were accommodating though! Will need to come back to check out their pastries.

Google
I'm so excited for a Vietnamese coffee spot to come to town! The coffee here is smooth and strong. There are so many creative and tasty flavors to choose from, something for every tastebud! Just ask the friendly staff :) I tried the Coconut Slush on my first visit, and it's delicious, and perfect for the summer. These drinks take me right back to sipping coffee in Vietnam! And I can't wait to come back to try more

Google
Tried the Hanoi egg coffee at Fifthsip for the first time and absolutely loved it—easily one of the best coffees I’ve had. The place has a chill vibe, and the service was great. Shoutout to Alan for being super kind and helpful.

Yelp
was recommended by a friend (who was recommended by tiktok lol). we immediately saw a steady stream of customers coming in & out once we arrived on a weekday afternoon - a good sign. once i walked in, saw the branding (love the forest green and font style they use), and got my order, i could definitely say it lives up to the hype. all the drinks on the menu sounded unique/creative and good, making me wish i could try them all, but ultimately got the pandan latte. not only did it have a pretty, vibrant green-white-brown gradient but also had a delicious, aromatic pandan flavor that didn't taste artificial/overly sweet - which is rare since anything pandan flavor is usually masked by coconut - nor did it get overpowered by the coffee. also got a sip of my friend's hanoi egg drink which was creamy & delicious as well. despite the narrow entryway, there are a good handful of stools along the wall-mounted countertops in the back, so my friends and i got to sit and chat for a bit while slowly savoring my $10 drink (,: given the price, i'll be coming here only on the rare occasions of treating myself. would love to try the other drinks but would be totally down to reorder the pandan latte. then maybe even consider buying merch (coffee beans, sweatshirts, totes, caps) displayed also in the back of the shop.

Yelp
This review is only for the food as I got my order to go. I came here because one of my friends they had good pastries. I love sweets so I was very interested. They didn't have many left so I got the salted yolk and pistachio one. The salted yolk one had a very meaty taste to it. The floss around the bun tasted like salted pork and it was not tasty. I do not eat pork so, it wasn't good to me. The pistachio had a mild flavor and it tasted mostly like dough. The buns were big and fluffy. I do like they were big enough to share and they had fillings inside of them. However, their flavor profile wasn't something I was interested in. I probably wouldn't get them again. The staff was friendly and quick when ordering.

Yelp
Small, petite coffee shop with quick turnaround. Visited this coffee shop; thanks to multiple influencers reels and TikTok's! This is the closest I can get my hands to a real egg coffee from Vietnam and I would say it's not too bad. A little on the sweeter side but that's Vietnamese coffee for ya! The Ube dream, was better than I expected it to be. There's actual ube taste when blended with the coffee; a tad bit sweet for me but was bearable. As many other reviewers mentioned, price and size was a bit on the steep side but it's def worth a try!

Yelp
Being from the OC originally, I've been missing a good specialty viet coffee in the city, so this definitely hits the spot! I've previously tried the corn latte, which wasn't my fave as I wish there was more of the corn flavor, but this time I tried the Pandan Matcha and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. I'm always comparing it to my favorite matcha spot in the OC and this one didn't disappoint. My friend got the banana latte, which she enjoyed, but wished the syrup was mixed in with the latte. Since this had a cream top, it would be nice to have that all mixed before being served so that we don't mix in the cream top while trying to mix it in ourselves. My other friend got the pandan latte and said it was her favorite in the city so far. There's a few seating spots in the back for a nice chat with friends. I'll definitely come back again, but the only thing stopping me from coming back so often is the price. My matcha came out to $9.25 for a small, and would be +$1.50 for large, which is a little pricey for the amount we get.

Yelp
Hard to believe that anyone would not get the jitters from the Hanoi Cream! Vietnamese coffee generally speaking packs a powerful punch of caffeine and this was no different. I've had several FifthSip drinks so far and all pack a solid punch. The Hanoi Egg in particular is super rich from the egg and the caffeine. I definitely got the jitters with that first sip. The Toasted Sesame has a black sesame topping, layered on top of a rich coffee base. All of this richness does come at a cost, just north of $10 (after tax and tip) is what you should expect to pay for this rich taste. Notice how many times I've said rich in this review. LOL. I haven't had to wait long so far during my visits as I usually go early in the morning on weekends but I could picture a wait during peak times.

Yelp
What a great new Vietnamese coffee addition to the area! I came here on a weekend morning with a couple of friends and waited around 15 minutes in line before ordering. I honestly had choice fatigue since each menu option sounded like a great drink. I eventually settled on their Dirty Matcha due to its listing as a "bold, earthy kick." Indeed, it was a great mix of matcha along with espresso! I could taste each ingredient strongly yet neither the matcha nor espresso portion overpowered one or the other. I was able to try my friends' drinks too, including the Corn Latte, which had a nice creamy corn taste, and the Ube Dream, which was colorful and had a good strong ube flavor. No drink was too sweet, and I appreciate the ceremonial grade matcha they used in their drinks. I'd love to try their Hanoi Egg drink in the future!

Yelp
Got the pistachio latte, it had a really unique nutty, but not overwhelmingly so after taste compared to any other pistachio latte I've had from other cafes. I really liked how light the latte was overall, perfect amount of sweetness and espresso balance. Service was quick, and the server was really helpful with her recommendations. I'd love to come back and try their other flavors for sure, the menu offerings were unlike any other cafe I've come across

Yelp
The pandan renaissance is here, and I'm loving every moment of it. I'm sure the distinctive green color has been helpful in driving up the hype on Instagram, but thankfully the lines still aren't too long at this new Vietnamese coffee purveyor in Nolita. Next visit I'll be more adventurous and try the corn latte, but the pandan latte had a very pleasant, subtle aroma and flavor.
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
A fun twist on coffee with fun flavors! I loved venturing here with my friend!! I had the oat and honey latte and my friend tried the banana latte. I really enjoyed the oat and honey latte. My friend had been there before and tried the banana latte this time around but it wasn't here fav. She enjoyed the corn one more. Service was very good and staff were very kind. Try it out!!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
The Hanoi Egg coffee is perfection! Literally tastes like a custard latte with strong Vietnamese coffee and a sweet eggy foam. It is $9 though :( there goes all my money.... My friend tried the yuzu matcha which was also tasty, but not as delicious as the Hanoi egg coffee- just get it! Service is pretty fast despite it being packed on a Saturday afternoon. There is some seating in the back but it was packed so I took my drink to go.

Yelp
There's not too many Vietnamese coffee shops in manhattan so I was super excited when Fifthsip opened. I LOVED the salted cream so much (my favorite vietnamese coffee drink) - has a nice sweet and salty flavor combo. Also tried the coconut slush which was not too sweet. Not too much seating inside though; more of a grab and go spot
google avatar

Jasmine H.

Yelp
Love this place. I've been twice and I've tried the pandan latte and the ube drip. Both are delicious. The staff are nice and they were super accommodating on my first visit (I needed WiFi to check some work stuff quickly). There's not a ton of seating so it's more of a grab and go spot, but the interior is well decorated. Big fan of the logo too
google avatar

Yelp
I was so excited to try the viet coffee lattes at FifthSip and it did not disappoint!!! The coconut slush was DELICIOUS! The viet coffee was strong and creamy. The coconut sugar flavors were amplified with the coconut slush. Texture wise, the mixture of the icy slush with the thick coffee was fun to slurp on! I also got try the ube dream, which I also enjoyed very much. But be sure to give it a GOOD mix! The ube cream by itself had strong authentic flavors. Only when it was fully mixed the ube and the condensed milk flavors combined nicely with the espresso taste. I liked the minimalist decor with white and dark green themes. I know they are relatively new so they were still working on finishing up the seats in the back. There were some bar top seating outside but overall had limited seating options. I'm definitely planning to come back!! Next time I'd want to try: Pandan Latte Corn Latte Pistachio Latte Salted Cream Toasted Sesame

Yelp
Ballsy move to open up a coffee shop next to an existing coffee shop, but FifthSip did it anyway! These drinks will have you running the circumference of the Earth with their caffeine content. Their Saigon black comes dark and syrupy, pre-sweetened with molasses-like body and intensity while the freshly pulled and handcrafted Americano drinks much lighter. The space feels a little uninviting and uncomfortable due to the store's physical orientation but some NYC coffee shops are built for high turnover and are not meant for lingering too long. Traffic needs to flow in two directions but the movement feels akin to boarding a plane where most people are entering, forcing the exiting customers to stiff shoulder through. Perhaps a stanchion or some instructional "wait over here" signs will ameliorate the crowd clumping during peak business hours. I can't speak for any of their other specialty drinks quite yet since I take my coffee with the fewest add ins/calories however my friend who lives in the neighborhood has already returned to FifthSip about six times. Their Instagram warns, "sip responsibly," and firsthand, I strongly encourage you do cuz they're putting something habit forming in their robusta!

Yelp
Youtube influencers do carry some influence as we found our way here after watching someone's food adventures in NYC. We came at around 11 AM on Sunday. There was not much of a buzz with only 1-2 customers ahead of us. I got the salted cream coffee. If you catch the perfect ratio of coffee and salted cream, it was heaven. If you only get most of the salted cream, it was too salty. My husband enjoyed his saigon black. It was sweeter than I anticipated for just a black coffee. They had a few pastry options. I tried the pork floss with salted egg. It was ok, but probably a bit more expensive and not much better than the pork floss buns that you can buy in Chinatown. Overall a unique coffee place to try without a long wait.

Yelp
A brand new Vietnamese coffee shop just opened in SoHo and it's a must-try if you're a coffee lover We tried the Hanoi Egg Latte, and it was unreal. Frothy, rich, creamy, with that bold Vietnamese coffee flavor, it was SO GOOD I literally ordered a second one on the spot They have the most unique menu with drinks like: Coconut Slush Tiramisu Latte Ube Dream Saigon Drip + Hanoi Egg Toasted Sesame & more bold, creative flavors! Perfect for anyone looking to step up their coffee game in NYC, Add this to your summer coffee crawl!! Yelp
Yes! More legit viet coffee places like this please. I am relieved I can more grab a salted cream or egg cream coffee here in nyc that rivals the ones I had in LA
google avatar

Farrah B.

Yelp
I was so excited to try real Vietnamese coffee in a shop as opposed to me, making it in my house or restaurants improvising. Though the menu was stacked with delicious offerings, I had to go with the Hanoi Egg Coffee, not only because it's a signature drink for them, but the history of the drinks creation itself. Thankfully, it was only 1 or 2 other people, when we arrived and the staff was super helpful. Despite its size, the richness and deep robusta flavor shone through. The thick, sweet, egg based, custard-like whipped topping was phenomenal! 10oz in a 12oz for roughly $9 was a bit steep, but it was definitely some of the best coffee I've had, ever. Next time I'll go for the ube bev thanks guys!
google avatar

Kayla B.

Yelp
Got the pandan latte here and it was so grassy?? In a good way?!?! like pandan flavor on 100 and perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. I would absolutely get again. No where does pandan justice and this place just does- no where inside to sit but the streets are cute to bop around of the weather is nice
google avatar

Whitney D.

Yelp
I finally tried the Banana iced latte. Not my favorite. It had a bitter taste to it but I did like the fact that it tasted alot like actual bananas in it.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Was thrilled to hear there's a coffee shop specializing in Vietnamese coffee. I got their salted cream and it was fantastic, coffee was bold and creamy from the condensed milk and the added salted cream makes the drink exceptional. It was not too sweet either. Drink came out fast. It is a bit pricier for coffee but worth it for a special treat. The shop is small but there's a few seats in the back. Would recommend!
google avatar

Sabrina P.

Yelp
Highly recommend this cafe. Quick service and room to sit makes it an easy grab and go spot. I'd return and try other items! I liked my Saigon Drip Vietnamese Iced Coffee!
google avatar

Lily B.

Yelp
With truly wonderful staff and delicious Vietnamese coffee drinks, definitely check out FifthSip. The staff walked me through the drinks I was interested in (and even let me try a bit of one). I decided on the corn latte because how could I not? I love anything corn. It was the most unique coffee drink I've had. Not very sweet at all and really tasted like fresh corn due to the puree at the bottom. Wish the cold foam had a bit more flavor though. Next time I'd like to try their other specialities. It'll probably always be a tough choice for me when all the combos are so unique
google avatar

Stacy K.

Yelp
There is a small space to sit indoor or outdoors. One of their popular drinks is called Saigon drip. We were looking for something with less caffeine so they have a light option. The light option was pretty strong so beware if you get the original one. I definitely need to come back and try their other cool options offered like Hanoi egg, pandan latte, etc.
google avatar

Mabel W.

Yelp
I was super excited to try the viral corn latte! It was so good. I feel like its definitely an acquired taste. This Vietnamese coffee shop just opened up and they offer a variety of delicious drinks. I also met Alan and he was super kind and accommodating. I got the ube dream and corn latte and he recommended us the Hanoi egg latte. Best recommendation because that turned out to be my favorite drink out of all. The flavor of the coffee was amazing and it was super rich. I also really liked the ube dream, you can really taste the ube flavor. Super nice interior and theres a cute mirror in the back to take selfies. I can't wait to come back and try more drinks!!
google avatar

Elaine C.

Yelp
First impressions: 10/10 drinks. Strong, smooth and tasty. Small spot with a bit of a line on the weekend but not too bad. Need to try all the other drinks.
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
Fifth sip has a lot of unique drinks to pick from. The store is small and narrow with a small standing area in the back. There was no line on a Saturday morning and the service was fast. I got the ube dream and thought it was good but overpriced, as I paid about $10 for my 16 oz drink. I'm not usually a huge fan of vietnamese coffee as the flavor is very strong, but the ube flavor helped. I liked that the drink wasn't overly sweet and I would go back to try the other unique flavors.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Came here to give it a try. Staff are friendly. The black tea is good, slightly sweetened. The fifth sip latte is okay nothing too special. I always like trying the basics first before getting into any crazy flavors. Inside the colors are baby blue and it's mores an I shape space. Small bench area to sit while waiting for the drinks. I will be back to try the other special flavors to see. Glad another new coffee spot opened up near the neighborhood
google avatar

June G.

Yelp
Hands down the best Vietnamese coffee I've had in NY. Hailing from California, I'm spoiled with a ton of great Vietnamese coffee, and it's been tough trying to find a coffee shop that emulates those standards. Caught Fifth Sip on a random walk in the neighborhood and have been back at least 5,6,7 times. I lost count at this point. Staff advised on the their best sellers and personal favorites, making it easier to tailor down the options. My personal favorites: Coconut Slush, Salted Cream, and Hanoi Egg. Enjoy!
google avatar

Sally W.

Yelp
So many drink options here and so many unique flavors! I got the matcha yuzu one and it was very refreshing. The service was quick, but a star was deducted because it was quite hot in the coffee shop - but good thing is they have a few chairs outside to sit at (although unfortunately they were all full when I went). Also note drinks are on the pricier end ~$8-10

Yelp
If you know me, you know I take my coffee very seriously--and FifthSip absolutely delivers. As a Seattle girl who basically grew up in coffee shops, I've been on a mission to find places in NYC that feel special, and this one instantly became a favorite. Their Hanoi Egg Coffee? Insane. Velvety, rich, slightly sweet but still lets the coffee shine through. I also tried the corn latte (yes, corn!) and was honestly surprised how much I loved it--just the right amount of savory and sweet. My friend got the Coconut Slush which she said was super refreshing too! You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu. The space itself is super cozy, beautifully designed, and perfect for a grab-and-go moment. Staff were so kind and welcoming too. Highly recommend if you're looking to branch out from your usual oat milk flat white and try something bold, thoughtful, and rooted in real culture. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Daniel N.

Yelp
I work in the area and have came across it the first time two weeks after they opened. I pretty much go 3 times a week now. Go for the Ube Dream or the Salted Egg. Very fire.
google avatar

Ash B.

Yelp
FifthSip is now my go to place for specialty lattes with Vietnamese coffee! The Hanoi egg and the pandan latte are divine. These lattes are on the sweeter side but their menu is expansive enough that I'm sure there's something for everyone.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
This little coffee place is a hidden gem! Delicious Vietnamese coffee with a ton of options. I had the pandan latte which was soooooo good and my girlfriend had the toasted sesame which was also amazing! Will come back again to try the other flavors.
google avatar

Bella R.

Yelp
Ordered the salted cream and it was delicious!! The cream was foamy, perfectly savory and sweet. After swirling the cream and coffee a bit, the taste just got better! Eager to come back and order either a ube or egg coffee from here! Inside seating is minimal, but it's cool inside, as in temperature but also design!!
google avatar

Annabelle L.

Yelp
Ever since a trip to Vietnam this winter, I've been on the search for egg coffee! When I saw online that FifthSip has one, I had to try it. I was lucky to be in the area with friends and so we stopped by. Prices are a bit steep (but that's everywhere!). Service was quick. Outdoor seating was filled and inside ambience was ok, but did the trick. The Hanoi egg coffee was delicious--very similar to the egg coffee I had in Vietnam: strong and slightly bitter but balanced by the condensed milk and egg cream on top. Definitely more on the sweeter side though (but I love my coffee sweet). Definitely recommend trying it!
google avatar

Belle L.

Yelp
Got the ice coffee with the egg cream and it was so delicious. The saltiness from the egg cream was a great contrast with the bitterness/sweetness of the coffee. The portions are pretty small but it's probably bc vietnamese coffee packs a punch. I would come back and order the larger size and try out their many different coffees as well. Staff is very friendly and attentive. It's pretty small so it might feel tight during busy hours but worth the wait!
google avatar

William R.

Yelp
I forgot what we got, but the drinks were really good. Cute tiny spot to escape from the summer heat.
google avatar

Evelyn H.

Yelp
Ordered the Hanoi Egg which was delicious. No wait on a Sunday around 12:30. My one complaint is that over half the cup of was ice; feels like a rip off at $9.25 per drink.
google avatar

Mickey M.

Yelp
Horrible!! Smells like wet dog. My allergies went insane. Watery coffee for $10. NOT RECOMMENDED.

James L.

Yelp
Co-worker and I started going here and we have not visited another coffee shop since. The coffee is strong and tasty, we have our whole office hooked on it! Staff is friendly and accommodating, and they are now open daily!

Richard A.

Yelp
Yelp reviews are not my biggest thing, but when a spot deserves it - you know I have to. My wife kept itching for a coffee fix during our walk around the city. She delighted herself in a salted cream drip which she enjoyed so much she wouldn't share. I went with something Ube dream, and it sure hit the spot. Thanks Fifth Sip for getting us right for our morning routine with our morning coffee fix!

J D.

Yelp
The cloud on top of the latte was amazing!! Will go back for that. Bit of a line and a small space so a little slow. No room to sit inside unfortunately. A lot of variety and unique drinks. Definitey worth visiting.

Simon W.

Yelp
Visiting all the way from London this is a hidden gem... my new go-to spot for coffee in New York! FifthSip is a standout coffee spot that hits every mark. The coffee? Exceptional, rich, smooth and clearly crafted with care. Their baristas are not only skilled but also incredibly friendly, making you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Appreciate you also being very patient with my indecisiveness! XD The vibe inside is warm and modern, with plenty of thoughtful touches that make it perfect for catching up with friends or getting some quiet work done. The pastries and snacks are just as impressive - fresh, delicious and veryy beautifully presented. My last words... Highly recommend! This place is an absolute must-visit for any coffee lover! :)

Joseph H.

Yelp
I normally don't post reviews but felt this was necessary. I saw this place on tiktok and decided to give it a try. It was the BEST decision we made so far during our New York trip! My girlfriend and I got the Hanoi egg and the yuzu matcha and it was delicious. The Hanoi egg was super creamy and flavorful and the yuzu matcha was perfectly balanced. The staff was also super helpful with recommending drinks. If you're in the Nolita area, FifthSip is the place to go!!!

Katelyn D.

Yelp
Super delicious Hanoi egg latte, and the staff are the absolute nicest! So much better than the overpriced, rude, and watered-down coffee place next door.

Angela J.

Yelp
The place smelled so bad. Coffee was horrible and the service was so slow. Very unhappy .

Janice N.

Yelp
The coffee is good, however, the portion for the price is insane. A small drink is almost $9! Definitely steep, but the staff was very friendly!
