Yelp
If I could give ten stars, i would. This restaurant/kitchen deserves all the praise and respect in the world and I will do my best to tell you why. First off, I don't eat seafood. I am from Hawaii and the only seafood I will eat is ahi straight off the boat. I have had catfish before but never liked it because it was either grainy or smelled bad or both. I have had shrimp before, but am now allergic as of 20 years ago. I liked shrimp before I became allergic but I never loved it. My boyfriend, Tommy is the person who turned me onto this place. He found this place because he works for Door Dash. He orders from here all the time and he is the person that convinced me to take a chance and try this place. I have to tell anyone who is reading this when I took my first bite out of the cat fish, it was like a flavor storm in my mouth. As they say, so good it makes you want to slap your momma. No disrespect to anyone's mother, just trying to convey how amazing it is! Perfectly seasoned, fries are hand cut and perfectly salted. BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE BEST PART. THEIR SAUCE, OH -- THEIR SAUCE!!! I could iterally not be hungry and have been in that situation but still want to eat their food because of their homemade sauce. I don't know what they put in it, but they should seriously market it because I would buy a year worths supply if I was not concerned about it going bad. Now the shrimp - as I said previously, I am allergic and even when I did eat it, I never loved it. This is how good the shrimp is - I would take a chance and get an allergic reaction if I did not have my medicine with me.... SO MOUTH WATERING! Flavor and crispiness are on point. The only complaint I have is that I wish they would take off the tails, but eh - no big deal. The hush puppies! So crispy and delicious. Tastes like they came from a grandma's kitchen in the south. Lasty but definitely not least, the pecan cheesecake. Crust is perfect - not too hard, not too soft - the perfect consistency. Cheesecake with pecans - not too sweet, just sweet enough to be flavorful and amazingly delicious.
Keep in mind, this is a kitchen, not a restaurant. No indoor seating, inside a church, located in a residential neighborhood. Owned by the nicest guy. I have called myself a few times - my bf orders a lot on his own. He is always super friendly and pleasant and obviously happy to have so much business SO GIVE HIM MORE. He completes deserves ALL THE BUSINESS. I promise you won't be disappointed and if you don't like or eat fish or seafood, you will be once you try his food!
