"Stop into chef David LeFevre’s Fishing With Dynamite for impeccable seafood prepared with Manhattan Beach flair. Start with a tremendous raw platter complete with Peruvian scallops, oysters on a half shell, and jumbo shrimp, before diving into warm squash rolls, crab cakes, and clam chowder." - Eater Staff
"A seafood-focused restaurant where chef de cuisine Alice Mai previously worked, before taking the helm at Attagirl." - Mona Holmes
"Manhattan Beach seafood specialist Fishing With Dynamite is offering a $55 Dine LA menu. Start with the choice of crispy calamari or kanpachi crudo, before moving on to pan-roasted diver scallops or seared bigeye tuna steak frites. The meal finishes with a Mississippi mud pie, which is included in the price." - Rebecca Roland
"A seafood restaurant in Manhattan Beach offering both classic and adventurous seafood dishes with beachy vibes." - Kevin Chau
"Fishing With Dynamite is a very small seafood spot with a handful of tables and one of the best raw bars in the city. While there’s an easygoing feel here, don’t get too comfortable. You will certainly be asked to wear shoes if you try to come in straight from the beach for crab cakes, chowder, and piles of oysters. It’s a great spot for a date or an extravagant lunch, but we especially love getting off a plane at LAX and waiting out the traffic here with multiple orders of Peruvian scallops." - brant cox, nikko duren, kat hong, garrett snyder, sylvio martins
