38 Essential Restaurants Around Atlanta, Summer 2024

"The small operation from Suwanee has expanded to a second location in Midtown. It’s all in the name, because this restaurant packs a flavorful punch. Founded as a food truck in 2018 by chef Christopher Fletcher and Angelica Finley (both formerly Ritz-Carlton Atlanta), regulars and newcomers to Flavor Rich have been flocking to the restaurant since it opened in 2020. Expect everything from fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, and wings to fried shrimp, blackened salmon sandwiches, and a must-order Cajun shrimp po’boy. If it’s on the menu, order the poached lobster roll topped with lemon aioli on a soft hoagie roll. Try the bananas foster French toast or crab cake benny with sauteed spinach, poached eggs, and Cajun lump crab sauce on an English muffin during breakfast." - Eater Staff

Google
My family and I, were searching yelp for a new breakfast place, when this restaurant came up. We looked at the menu, and distance, and decided to go there. The ambience is relaxed, interior decorated with portraits of famous musicians. We were seated immediately, our server introduced herself and took our drink orders immediately. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles My son ordered fried chicken biscuits I ordered salmon and Grits We were all impressed with the flavors and portions. The blend of crunchy, sweet and savoy, quite the treat to one’s taste buds. I highly recommend trying the salmon and grits, you will not regret the $26. I returned today to celebrate my birthday and I was not disappointed. The flavors! As a foodie, I will say, the chef has nailed the flavors in the salmon and grits, the joy of finding spinach and tomatoes tucked under the salmon and grits, is something to write home about! Do go for the food, the service and ambience are an added bonus.

Cute little restaurant. Went on a random Tuesday morning so there was no wait. The server was very kind and suggested various dishes off the menu. We got shrimp & waffles, chicken & waffles, a side of fried fish and a side of grits. Everything was really good. No complaints.

I went for brunch today and had a great time! It did take a while to be seated but once we got inside everything was 10/10! Our server Veronica was quick, efficient and super friendly! I was a little hangry due to the wait but her personality turned that right around! I ordered the Bananas Foster French toast-the food came out quickly, was plated beautifully and everything tasted delicious! Both the chef and owner checked on our party to make sure everything was good. Just an overall amazing experience and I’ll definitely be back!

As we told our amazing server Victoria, we’ve eaten across the world and Flavor Rich matches any food we’ve ever experienced in any culture. The flavors, the presentation, and the atmosphere all show the love for what’s served. Highly recommended!

The food was fantastic! Initially, I was concerned about the quality since the head chef was at a new location, but it exceeded my expectations. We indulged in two servings of salmon and grits topped with crispy fried crawfish, one shrimp and grits with turkey sausage, and one salmon and grits without shellfish. I did have to send mine back because it was overly oily from the salmon, which made my grits too loose. However, the rest of the table enjoyed perfectly creamy grits. The staff quickly remade my dish, and it came back just like the others, delicious! The service was excellent, and we will definitely be returning. Oh, and we also shared the Peach Cobbler French Toast it was the best I've ever had!

Flavor Rich definitely has flavor. A few parents recommended trying this place out, so I gave it a shot. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, and it was a definite hit. It was seasoned well & the sauce was perfect. I also enjoyed this goodness w/ a cup of mango lemonade. It was nice as well. I had an addtl. order for a friend, the chicken & waffles, and he seemed to enjoy his food as well. This was my first time visiting & it wasn't too bad. Although, business hours are awkward, as they close at 3:00pm on week days, but I guess weekends are always an option. Thanks, Flavor Rich!

Google
This is my favorite place for chicken and waffles. Absolutely delicious! The staff is fine, cannot claim anything that stands out, but they are prompt in seating (when not busy) and taking your order. The downtown location is the only location that serves alcohol in Atlanta, the Suwanee location does not although the menus for both locations are the same. I prefer the Suwanee location because it is less crowded and you don't have to pay for parking like the downtown location. It's small, so you typically have a wait on the weekends. If you're going with a larger group and looking for a turn up, recommend the downtown location. This is NOT the traditional grass wall, social media photo opportunity with mediocre food. This spot is VERY good and a whole vibe. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My uncontested favorite local spot for breakfast. Everything is so good here - I usually get the chicken & waffles as well as a (grilled) shrimp grits to share. The portions are fantastic & the food is absolutely incredible. The vibes are always good & the service is usually pretty good too. You'll probably be dropping a pretty penny if you go but, if you do, you won't regret it!

Yelp
This is not your average brunch place. Based upon great reviews, we decided to try Flavor Rich for Sunday brunch. The online reservation system being used is inconsistent in the time quoted. We waited a good 20 minutes longer than quoted. The restaurant is small, seating approximately 30 people at a time. When people are hanging out leisurely, this can affect wait times. There is nowhere to wait inside. There are 2 benches out front. The parking is a problem on Sundays, as the shopping center also contains a church. Once seated, we ordered water only to find out they only have bottled water (strange for a sit down restaurant). The menu states the water is $3. Thankfully, we weren't charged. We ordered fish and grits, shrimp and grits, and a veggie omelette (served with grits and toast). Both of the seafood and grits dishes were very well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and had beautifully fresh ingredients. The grits were full of butter and delicious. The omelette was large but needed more seasoning as the owner insists on not providing salt and pepper on the table, The chairs were quite comfortable and the tables were a sturdy marble. The service is consistent and we were checked on several times. The walls were adorned with various African American pop icons. The ceiling tiles need replacing due to visible signs of leaks. I understand why restaurants tend to leave their ceilings exposed in an industrial chic motif. The music piped in was also quite loud. I would return for the food, albeit on a day less crowded because I'm a foodie. Not everyone I know would appreciate the nuances that I am willing to accept when dining out. Hence my initial sentence.

Yelp
I've driven past this place often since I live in a nearby neighborhood. We never stopped to eat here because it always looked like it was packed. We finally decided to come here and wait for a table. The service was prompt and after we ordered the food got to us quickly. Now onto the food.... CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. That's it. Get that. Immediately. I mean my wife loved the French Toast...but I'm the one writing the review so.... CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. The waffles are vanilla bean and you get 2 fried chicken breasts. Oh and it comes with brown sugar butter. Why are you still reading this? Go now and get it.

Yelp
Not looking to update my review, just wanted to add some pictures. I absolutely love this place! Just an fyi, they don't serve breakfast all day like most brunch places but they have plenty of options on the menu to try. Everything I get from here is always good and I can't wait to come back as I always do when I'm in Atlanta. They do have a new location in the city that I'd like to visit.

Yelp
Stop in here on a Friday for breakfast. Less than 20 mins wait. The food came out fast. Everything was delicious. I had left over. The catfish platter is a nice portion. And the catfish was fried perfectly. The house sauce that came with catfish was good. The watermelon lemonade was good. The place is small, so be prepared to wait. The person who invited me said, "Usually 45-1hr wait time. But once I saw how small it was, I understand why. I wouldn't go with a large party. It was just 3 of us. They did make a table of 6-8 people But they were literally just one large group now surrounded by small tables. So I think if you want the graduation parties...to avoid this. But it's definitely cute for couples and girlfriend check-ins.

Yelp
I was lucky to get a table since there is a small seating space. The fried fish sandwich the next day seemed spicy, but the fish was huge and I ate the edges of it with creamy cheese grits, which was great. The brussel sprouts were decent. I would have liked them a tad crunchier. The coffee was good. My friend liked her fried chicken & fries, but we didn't know we could have ordered from the breakfast menu at lunchtime. We should have asked. I had to buy bottled water, but if they are not sure about their water system, I would rather be safe than sorry. The ambiance and service were both very nice.

Yelp
My friend and i drove from southwest Atlanta to this restaurant. That should tell you right there how amazing it was. We normally frequent the Flavor Rich food truck when we go to One Music Fest, and I have been wanting to try their restaurant for a while. I had shrimp and grits, and my friend had the fried lobster and waffles, with a side of grits. Everything tasted amazing. They do reservations which is appreciated but be mindful of sticking to the number of people you reserve for as there is not a lot of space to manipulate tables (some of the space was tight). Can't wait to see the new Atlanta location!

Yelp
Went here before a matinee at the Fox with two friends. Food was delicious. We each had something different and everyone loved their dish - chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits and a lobster roll. We split a French toast sampler for dessert. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back and will also try the Suwanee location. Two things I didn't like. You can't get tap water. You have to order bottles of water for $3.00 each. Also, although we were just a party of 3, a 20% gratuity was added to our bill. We definitely would have tipped that or more anyway but it's not common for tip to be added for a small group and the waitress acted like she didn't know "they" did that. We almost ended up tipping on top of the tip until we looked at the bill closer,

Yelp
I went to Atlanta to see one of my favorite cousins. He knows the way to my heart is through my stomach and after eating at Flavor Rich, I am in love. Now let me say, this brunch is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I had the lobster and waffles. The lobster was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The butter that came on those waffles topped with a little syrup felt like heaven in my mouth. That sweet and salty mixture really nailed it with the flavor profile. My coffee cup was never less than half. The service was amazing. Be outside waiting at 9 when they open because the place packs out quick. Definitely recommend as I will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
There was no wait and the food came out really quick. The food was good...the French toast was good but it wasn't like a soaked in the egg custard French toast. My server was nice and even handled an issue I had very professionally
google avatar

Candice C.

Yelp
The food here was excellent! No complaints at all. we got the fried fish plate and the fish and grits and it was some of the best brunch food I ever tasted. They don't serve alcohol which wasn't an issue for us, but if you're looking for a boozy brunch, this isn't the place. The space was very small but cozy with beautiful art and great music; however since the space is so small there is a lengthy wait time. I'd recommend joining their online waitlist before heading there. If you have a small party though it's possible you may get moved to the front of the waitlist (that's what happened to us and we ended up missing our first reservation because there's only a 5 minute grace period for you to check in with the hostess before they cancel your table). The staff was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be the hostess. She seemed to have an attitude when I asked about our table being ready as we got the text confirming it was available and she rudely told us to go back outside and wait for a text and when I showed her that I already got a text saying it was ready she rudely said well that's not right I'll let you know when it's ready. Not really the type of person you would want greeting customers in my opinion but the waitress and bus ladies made up for it with their customer service which is why I'd still give them 5 stars. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
Ok... i was able to make reservation and didn't wait long. When we went in, i was surprised of how small/ intimate this place is. We were quickly greeted and served drinks and we ordered. The food came out all together. Peach french toast wasn't as sweet and heavy as we were thinking and it was very pleasant. The waffle ordered by my 7 year old was ginormous! He licked the plate off. I got the chicken and waffles and they do the chicken right. Its moist and crispy on the outside. Just really yummy! My 10 year old got the fried fish plate thingy and he loved it! It came with soo much food he only got to eat half of it. The cook came out and engaged with patrons. He even taught my kids orchids are edible. really awesome!! Our new favorite brunch place. *we have peanut and treenut allergies and we ate here without any allergies.

Yelp
Small spot. Great food. Good service. Expensive though for the atmosphere and location. Bottled water only.

Yelp
When I say I've been looking at google and Yelp reviews for weeks about this place ! Weeks y'all maybe months lol. But the food exceeded my expectations, everything we had was full of flavor ! The service was awesome and they were very quick! I will be back !

Yelp
Every time I've been, I've been pleased! The food is beautiful, delicious, and plentiful! Can't wait until I can go back!

Yelp
My wife and I visited Atlanta and went with some of our close friends to this place. The food was fantastic. I had the Peach Cobbler French Toast & she had the Catfish & Grits. It is a small place but worth the line so better to get there early. Definitely a place to recommend.
google avatar

Rae A.

Yelp
The ambiance of the place is very relaxing and elegant. The food is absolutely AMAZING! The food presentation is just beautiful!!!! The FLAVOR is a MUST taste for yourself! This place is a MUST visit! I love their chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits!!!! The best chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits in ATL! It is perfect! Not greasy or salty! Just perfect! The service is AMAZING! Our server was Ms Carla; she also served us sometime ago and absolutely amazing customer service! The FLAVOR and service has not changed since the last time we came! Love this place!
google avatar

Janna P.

Yelp
I love dining at Flavor Rich! I will preface this review by saying expect there to be a wait time, but it is so worth it! I went on a Sunday during the after church rush, so I feel it's important to note that. Not only is the food delicious but the aesthetic and environment is also beautiful! Despite the wait time, which was understandable given the restaurant's popularity, the food more than made up for it. From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with flavor and executed with precision. I've been a couple of times now and have never tasted a bad dish. I ordered the Fried Fish, Eggs, and Potatoes with a side of Creamy Grits which was a true symphony of flavors. The catfish was perfectly cooked and expertly seasoned, leaving me craving more with every bite. The grits are actually creamy and so good! My boyfriend ordered the Shrimp & Grits with a side of Vanilla Bean Waffles. He was pleased and cleaned his plate lol! And let's not forget about the impeccable service. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, my experience at Flavor Rich was nothing short of exceptional. The wait time was a small price to pay for the incredible food and warm hospitality. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. Flavor Rich is on my list of favorite restaurants!
google avatar

Adia S.

Yelp
I'm back again with a 5 star review! They have upgraded decor. My food was DELICIOUS! I have the fried shrimp and banana foster French toast. It wasn't overly sweet. No need to add syrup. The shrimp was fried in a light planko batter. My son had the simply breakfast but he raves about it every time we leave. My niece had the Shrimp and waffles, she enjoyed those as well. The presentation was on point. Our food came out quick. Our server was kind and attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
You're not going to find a better breakfast/brunch spot! Anywhere. The food is perfect! Service was great as well. They were super busy but understandably why. Clean cool restaurant. Absolutely zero complaints.
google avatar

Tranissa B.

Yelp
This is my fave Brunch spot in the ATL area. The food portions and flavor will not disappoint. The staff are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and ambiance is perfect for catching up with friends or date w/ bae. The decor is tasteful and fun. A must visit if brunch is your vibe.

Yelp
My Husband and I drove 45 minutes to give this establishment a try! My goodness it was worth the drive. First of all the customer service was amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful. I had the shrimp and grits and wow, just wow. The flavor profile, shrimp was cleaned and seasoned very well, grits were velvety and left love notes in my palette, along with lobster sauce, mushrooms, onions and turkey sub for andouille sausage. My husband had the Fish, eggs and potatoes. Fish was seasoned to perfection, eggs was scrambled perfect, and those potatoes were fire. We will absolutely be back! Shout out to Angel who was our server, his mannerisms, knowledge of food, professionalism and amazing guest service was something money can't buy. They are blessed to have him on this team.
google avatar

Donesha T.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for lunch during the week. It was after 2 and we were still able to order items off the brunch menu although it's said to only be offered on the weekend. The layout is fairly small. But clean and has art on the wall. The crab spinach dip was everything I needed. So flavorful. Plenty of crab. Served with 4 pieces of garlic bread slices. You well certainly need more. I'm not sure why that's all they give. Various flavored mimosas. Not sure if they offer bottomless during brunch. I am not crazy about waffles, but these mini Belgian waffles were good and has a hint of vanilla? You can order fried or grilled shrimp as well as other proteins to have with the dish. I opted for fried shrimp. They were large, and seasoned well. Not over cooked. Price is affordable. They have a point system as well. I'll be back during my best visit to GA
google avatar

Dee-Ana P.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! Try the shrimp & waffles. Whatever you order is satisfying for sure. Excellent service, with a friendly staff. It's a small spot in a commercial area with ample parking.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
I am not a huge fan of breakfast foods, but I AM a huge fan of flavor rich. I went two days in a row but both times were AMAZING. Not only is the food such great quality, but the employees were so thoughtful and nice. It made our experience so much better. Love the inside aesthetic. Tables, chairs, bathroom, and overall cleanliness is exceptional as well!! I would recommend chicken and waffles on their breakfast menu or their chicken sandwich on their lunch menu! Try out their lemonades as well

Ellen F.

Yelp
Spectacular food and service. Best chicken and waffles ever. Bananas Foster French toast also excellent.
google avatar

Ashlye B.

Yelp
The food the ambiance everything was fresh and quickly was seated and ate shortly afterwards. You can hold a spot online with yelps waiting list. The time limit on the table is 1 hour to eat and leave so you others can partake. Parking is right in front. Our server was so polite and friendly. The bathroom is clean as well. This is not your typical brunch spot it's better.
google avatar

Camille C.

Yelp
I joined the waitlist on Yelp, and waited 2 hours for Sunday brunch. After we were seated, the waitress informed us that they were out of grits! I came specifically for the salmon and grits--utter disappointment. Decided to stay, and try something else. I ordered the veggie omelette. I started eating the omelette and it became more and more salty; it got to the point of being inedible. I was not allowed to change my entree selection without being charged for the omelette. They only offered to remake the omelette. The second omelette was mildly better. Still saltier than necessary. Definitely not coming back for another disappointing experience.
google avatar

Jeanette H.

Yelp
Excellent service and food. Can't ever go wrong everything is delicious. The Best Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch Ever!!!
google avatar

Camille W.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Gwinnett. A must try- can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Flavor Rich never misses!
google avatar

Kadie M.

Yelp
Wow, just Wow! If you haven't ate here yet, go today!! I should have already knew with a name bold as Flavor Rich, that they would deliver and they did! After my first bite of my Mac and Cheese, I knew 5! I had the Waygu bacon cheeseburger and Mac and cheese, while hubby had the fried chicken sandwich and crawfish rice. All really good! We also ordered truffle fries, but they did have any more! The venue is relatively small, with maybe 10-12 tables so you are limited to a 60min window for them to accommodate others waiting. Although you can not make reservation, you can add yourself to the waitlist! Which worked perfect! The staff was friendly and nice! The space was clean and inviting with dope art work and music! The parking space is limited, so patience! I will be back for breakfast/brunch!

Delores P.

Yelp
This place is always great. The service and food is amazing. They go too the end to Accommodate you.I call this great customer service.Keep being consistent and putting Love and pride in the food. I will keep coming back and telling all of Georgia about the great food and service......

Yelp
The food is always EXCELLENT, I have tried numerous items from their menu, and I have never been disappointed. The service from the staff is always helpful and outstanding. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. The patrons are friendly, and communication between customers about the food is so funny and helpful on what to try at the next visit. Great food quality, service, and atmosphere.

Reese J.

Yelp
Ordered a breakfast sandwich (see picture). Hard old bacon pieces that aren't even edible. And the bread had a weird metal taste. I can get a better breakfast sandwich at McDonalds. The last few times I've frequented this spot the quality hasn't been the same. Disgusting! Wasted my time and money.
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
Back again! I really tried to get there before the long lines started but still ended up having to wait around 30-40 mins. The plus side is that you can join the wait list online. Wait or no wait, the food is worth it all. They always have the friendliest staff!
google avatar

Suzie E.

Yelp
Wow! Literally the best brunch place in the area! Black owned + great service! The food was delicious and I would recommend everyone get something different so you can share! I did not even need any extra sauce or syrup how flavorful it was! However, they do not sell alcohol until 12pm.
google avatar

Tiffany G.

Yelp
This place easily gets a 9.5 out of 10. Honestly one of the best brunch spots I've been too in Atlanta. A lot of places have great photos of their food and the presentation is spot on but be catfish. Flavor Rich is no catfish. The food tastes amazing, the service is nice and friendly and the food comes out super quick. My server Bri was amazing!!
google avatar

Jaryn R.

Yelp
Food was great. Very well seasoned. I forgot the name of the sauce on the chicken sandwich but it was everything. Your don't need anything extra. The truffle fries had the right amount of seasoning, perfect crisp. The Chicken and Waffle was amazing without the syrup. The service was very hospitable. Friendly, attentive, and very great with suggestions. Ambiance was very helpful. Lots of teamwork and overall an amazing restaurant! Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Omar F.

Yelp
Flavor Rich is always a hit. Parking can give you a little hassle and please reserve online or you WILL be waiting. It's worth the wait though I promise. They're menú from breakfast and lunch during the weeks to brunch on the weekend is amazing. Chris the owner is always there with a smile on his face even when they are slammed and makes sure everything is going smoothly. I come here about 1-2 times a month at least since it is a bit far from me.
google avatar

Trina B.

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance was sure delight. This was my first time thanks to one of the friends in our party who had suggested and dined here before. We arrived early and able to be seated. Food was amazIng - you can a lot Iove and attention to detail went into each plate. Such a and excellent presentation! We all enjoyed our selected options and we will definitely be back. Did I mention it's Black Owned - Top Notch

Yelp
The name of the restaurant speaks for itself. The menu is ever changing. Catch your favorite items while you can.

Monique M.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. Their food is delicious and flavorful ( something hard to come by these days). We didn't have a wait, but I went on a Tuesday. The shrimp are a nice size, the grits were nice and creamy, and the sauce was really good. I usually get the shrimp and waffles but I switched it up. I'd get this again! My friend had the chicken sandwich and she liked it as well.
google avatar

Gaby A.

Yelp
Incredible creativity, presentation and flavor in the food. Staff is on point and friendly. The kitchen moves fast as well. They do a great job at balancing efficiency while mantaining customer service. It is my wives favorite breakfast and brunch restaurant by far.

Yelp
We used the yelp wait list feature with no issues. Each of the staff we interacted with was very friendly, not 1 attitude detected! Often times in small and/or busy restaurants you either get staff that seem angry to have a job or you get staff that treat you as if you should be grateful for being in their presence. We had 2 orders of chicken and waffles. Honestly, we gave each other side eyes when my husband asked for wings, no waffles, and the waitress stated they only have breast. We almost canceled the chicken and waffles and chicken only requests because we were all thinking, D R Y, lol. We were all wrong. That was the most seasoned and moist fried chicken breast we have ever had. The waffles were the perfect level of sweetness so none of us used the syrup. I would give 5 stars just the Mango lemonade!!! We will definitely return!

Yelp
Shrimp and Grits were so yummy! My hubby ate his than helped me with mine. Really savory, grits were cooked perfectly, mushrooms amazing, sausage just the right amount of spice. Service was really good! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great food ! Great service, the chef can make you almost anything you want as long as requested . Times are strict and food is always worth the wait .!! I love the flowers and decorations , workers are extremely knowledgeable about the gold as well Salmon with grits , has some catfish in there and delicious side of waffles . Fresh and soft . I am a foreigner where I'm from meat or fish has nothing to do with grits but this certainly is an amazing combination . I'll recommend it for everyone !

Yelp
I tried a bunch of menu items with a friend. The crawfish rice was scrumptious. Got a crab cake and piece of fried chicken a la carte and didn't regret that. Mac and cheese was gooey n good. I wasn't expecting the wagyu beef burger to be my favorite, but it was so rich and tasty -- a seriously memorable burger. I would pass on the lemonade next time, but not because it's bad. It was just too sweet for me.

Yelp
What can't I say about the original Flavor Rich! The staff is always nice and courteous. The chef is amazing and the food is even better! I ordered my favorite, the fried fish with eggs, toast and potatoes. I always opt for grits instead of potatoes and add onions and mushrooms to my scrambled eggs. They always accommodate my substitutions. The portions are large. My grits were creamy, fish fried to perfection (golden and soft and crispy at the same time) and my eggs are always a soft scramble as I like them. I can't rave enough about Flavor Rich!

Yelp
OTP and 200% worth the drive!! I heard about this restaurant through a friend. She told me that she ordered food to go and ended up eating it on the way home so that meant I MUST try it. There aren't many restaurants there, I crave going back to... But let me tell you, this is one of them! I had family in town and ended up taking them one Saturday morning. Yelp wait list is a lifesaver, and it works pretty seamlessly. The only thing is that the line moved a little faster than what I was originally quoted so I was pushing it to get there in time. With that said, plan to arrive 10-15 min before Yelp tells you to, just in case. The parking lot and restaurant itself are small. I kind of want them to get a bigger space, but then again, I wouldn't want anything... Absolutely anything to change so maybe not. The hostess was very nice. And as soon as we sat down, we were greeted by a woman who brought us waters. Our waitress was Cyondra. She knew the menu inside out and was just so sweet!! Now to the important part... The food! OMG. Honestly, this was probably the best chicken I've ever had in my life (outside of my grandma's). It was seasoned to perfection and cooked with to the perfect texture. The outside was so crispy and delicious and the inside was juicy. the waffles were also the perfect texture and the two together we're just... Chefs kiss. My niece had the regular breakfast and is a picky eater, but when I tell you she left no evidence!! The prices may seem a little on the high side, but I can definitely say that the chicken and waffles is enough for two servings. The grits were incredibly creamy, perfectly done. I have been plotting when I can go back to try more menu items because I will certainly be back.
