"Flora Street Cafe, located in the Dallas Arts District, is about to debut a revamped menu and a new ritzy tasting room following the addition of Chef Tim Byres. Byres joined the restaurant to help Stephan Pyles revamp the cafe into a more casual and approachable restaurant. The cafe will offer experiential dining for lunch and dinner, a luxe tasting room, and a new brunch menu featuring dishes like TX Akaushi ribeye, cured steelhead trout, and fire-roasted Gulf oysters. The dog-friendly patio will have a champagne and oyster cart. The cafe offers two distinct dining experiences: a dressed-down main dining area and an elegant tasting room." - Alaena Hostetter

Beautiful restaurant. Great scenery and ambience. If you want a fine dining experience with excellent service and culinary food, this is the place. Very relaxing and chill place for a date. Lobster tamale is a must try. Ribeye was cooked to perfection, soft red center with crispy outer layer. The chicken dish was delightful.

Swanky, artsy, fancy. Flavors were great, a good deal of Texas BBQ influences. Lobster tamale pie is a must try, along with the pork belly. The chicken entree was amazing and worth every bit of ordering chicken at an ultra fancy restaurant. The king salmon and 50 day ages steak was also very good. Staff was amazing!

What a beautiful space! Our server Candace was great. Very knowledgeable and kept a good pace for the entire dinner. I will say the other guys walking around in the grey suits, not so much. They often asked us the same question multiple times as if there was no communication between them. I aked one of them a menu question and he said he would find out and he never returned. The bathrooms are very tight but great sinks. Towels were very scratchy. As for the food, I did have a special Christmas tasting menu, which was kinda a bummer. I wanted the regular tasting menu. It was good though. Very thoughtful and deliberate. The plating was beautiful and everything meshed well. My girlfriend ordered off the menu since she is pescatarian and there was no Christmas tasting option for her. She had the poached halibut with potato chip crumble. It was amazing! It was a great dining experience and I'm going back with my father to get that regular tasting menu for $150. I highly recommend.

One of the few restaurants in fine dining that has a truly vegetarian menu. When I spoke to them they said they will just substitute the normal menu with some veggies. But after my meal there yesterday, I don't think anything was a substitute. All the courses were so apt and tasted so good.

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Right up there with Uchi. I try the tasting menu every 6 months and always really enjoy my time there. The staff was great.

Absolutely amazing food!!! Have never been presented food like this before. If you are prepared to spend money then definitely pay a visit.

The place is elegant, the service is great, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. However, the menu is very confusing and, while my plate (steak and brisket) looked good, my steak was undercooked and there was a sauce poured over the brisket that gave it a burnt taste making it inedible

Food, service and ambiance are over the top at Stephen Pyles' newest in Dallas! We opted for 5 dishes from the top half of the menu as well as whites and reds by the glass. I also had the memorable "Flora" specialty drink. We had the ahi tuna, duck, wagyu beef, lobster pie and leek/potato soup. No dessert but they give you a pretty tasty with 3 little delicious bites and then let you pick chocolates from a box made by a local chocolatier.
