Gluten-free dishes at Las Vegas restaurants | Eater Vegas

"Flour & Barley – Brick Oven Pizza chef John Alers recently competed in the Pizza and Pasta Expo in Atlantic City and took home third place out of 30 for the non-traditional pizza category, with a new recipe to the restaurant’s gluten-free pizza. Every pizza can be gluten-free for an additional $2 at this restaurant at The Linq Promenade." - Agnes Poliquin

From the minute we walk in to when we left, we had a fantastic experience with Flour and Barley! All of the food we order and the mimosas were delectable and appetising. I personally ordered the Linguini and Shrimp, I’m still thinking about it now. Our waitress was also accommodating and very professional. Highly recommend if you want a place with good ambiance to sit and yap over good food!

Google
Food was amazing. We got a Margherita pizza added pepperoni. We also had the meatball appetizer and cauliflower buffalo bites. Food was amazing. The water tasted like pool water. I swapped to lemonade and that wasn't enough to cover the chlorine in the water. Food is great but don't drink the water.

Google
This is a mixed review. The Gluten free pizza was very good. The crust doesn't taste gluten free at all. Definitely 5 stars. As for the bad. The regular pizzas are sub par. A bland sauce (both white & red), cheese, and nearly flavorless crust. The kids cheese was more flavorful than the white pizza. The Greek salad was bland as well. Perhaps they didn't take the time to shake the dressing because it sure tasted to me like no dressing at all. Everything is expensive in this area outside of Inn and Out. The pizzas here are essentially $25+ personal thin crust pizzas which is cheapest pizza to make, The exception is the gluten free which is thick Detroit style. If you have a gluten free eater then I do recommend. If you have super sensitive taste and prefer low flavor then also recommend. The fancy name belies a generic taste.

I absolutely loved the shrimp scampi pizza. It was pretty big for a personal pizza, but I still ate all of it after walking around all morning. My friend got the Margherita pizza and he said he enjoyed it. We sat outside, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant seemed really nice.

Google
Absolutely hands-down, the best gluten-free dairy free pizza you will find in Vegas. Or in your hometown. I wish they had this place in Dallas cause I would go you can actually taste the hops. They have in the dough and for people that don’t eat gluten or dairy. It’s such a treat to eat something so fantastically delicious.

Google
We ordered a variety of dishes. Brussel Sprouts, Goat Cheese Pizza, Gianna Pizza, Checken Parmesan, Pappardelle Bolognese, Meatballs, Mini Cannolis. It was all delicious. The brussel sprouts with the fried egg was different, haven't had it that way before. But I think it actually made the sprouts a bit "milder" meaning the runny egg yolk sort of smooths out the taste and coats the brussel sprout which can somtimes be a little sharp or acidic when you roast them. We really liked the 2 pizzas it was crisp. Baking their pizzas in a brick oven, really gave it the wood-fired crust taste. One person in our party can't eat tomato based foods, so having the option of the Goat Cheese pizza was a real positive. I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and loved the Pappardelle noodles, they were nice and wide, just the right al dente texture for me, and the Bolognese sauce was spot on though I bet they added some extra ingredients to make their own yummy recipe. The Chicken Parmesan also very well prepared, the chicken was tasty, not over cooked and therefore not dry and chewy. Topping it off with the mini cannolis was perfect. We just had a lot of nice things to say about the food at Flour and Barley.

Google
This is a great place for wood fire pizza and one of the best gluten free pizzas you can find. The crispy fried brussel sprouts are not to be missed.

Google
I had the vegan pizza and it was really good. Service was decent and the atmosphere was ok as well. There weren’t a lot of vegan options but the pizza was fantastic so no complaints!

Yelp
I'm a little mad at myself for never trying this before. I really only looked at the outside order window and they didn't have gluten free offerings so I never checked out the menu. We were looking for something quick to eat. As one party hit a neighboring spot, another friend went to the pick up window. I decided to check out the menu and saw they had GF pizza! I ordered my food to go. As we all met together outside, we noticed several empty seats at the restaurant. It said it was for dine in only. Since there were so many open tables, I asked if we could eat there since we'd gotten our food there. We were told no since it says dine in only. I get it - rules, but it was a bit disappointing since we'd gotten our food there. Aside from that, my pizza was wonderful. It's tough to find GF that isn't thin crust. I could only eat half of it, but I will certainly be back for future trips!

Yelp
Pass this place every time I visit so thought I'd try it this time. Was not busy at all on a Thursday night. Had the Garlic Parmesan bread which was amazing! Ordered the basic pepperoni pizza, great crust and spicy pepperonis which I love. Of course the crust was good (brick oven). A bit greasy for my personal taste but overall good.

Yelp
The atmosphere outside the resturant is quite fun. However the ambience is soured by the poor service by the staff. If you go expect to wait a bit to be served. In terms of menu items I would just stick to the pizzas. We had a stuffed pepper appetizer that was very bland. The Green Chili Chicken Pizza was great and the other pizzas we saw all looked good as well.

Yelp
Grabbed a quick bite for lunch, decent amount of vegan and vegetarian options, I got the verdure pizza and my husband got the vegan, both very decent pizza for a quick lunch! Service is fast and he place is very clean, loved the bathroom which was extra clean and smelled great which is rare, Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
My lunch date with my hubby at this restaurant was a much-needed break from our busy schedules. As someone with celiac disease, it's always a challenge to find places that cater to my dietary needs. Jose, our waiter, was knowledgeable about the gluten-free options and very personable. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings so that's a big plus! The gluten-free pizza was outstanding, with a crust that was both crispy and flavorful. I didn't get sick so as locals we will definitely be back again! Thank you

Yelp
Dropped in here for an informal dinner. Like that there was outdoor seating Shared a Greek salad and a regular pizza. Both were surprisingly delicious. Very tasty salad. Good dressing and good feta cheese. Pizza was medium thickness with a decent sauce and good cheese. Totally satisfied this New Yorker!!

Yelp
I recently visited flour and barley & I found the ambience inside to be charming and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which enhanced the overall dining experience. However, while the food was decent, it didn't quite reach the heights I expected. The mozzarella sticks were a standout, with a delicious taste that left me wanting more. As for the chicken Parmesan, while it had the right portion size, I couldn't help but wish the sauce could be thicker and not runny. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, but there's room for improvement in the food department.

Yelp
Strolling through the Promenade, feeling a bit hungry, and what do I smell? PIZZA! Just needed a quick fix to carry on with the days activities, and let me say, loudly, this place was GREAT! Slices on the go in minutes! And beer! What else could one ask for? Well, that would be extra, this is a family site Walk up window, but the line moves fast. In-house dining with a large menu (see pic), but we opted for fast and casual. What made it better? Our server was the funnest, most bubbly person we met that day! Kudos to her. Next time you're in the Promenade, or nearby and need a great meal with great people, this is the place.

Yelp
Flour & Barley is one of our favorite eateries in Las Vegas. It's located in the Linq Promenade. They feature delicious pizzas, entrees and cocktails, plus a small selection of local brews on tap. Our server today was Jared, and he rocked! We've been before, and tried something new this time. Highly recommend this spot, and they do take reservations. Calamari Fritti (lightly fried with cherry peppers and served with a roasted tomato aioli that's to die for) and the Farmhouse Pizza (mozzarella, fennel sausage, roasted onion, cotton ham, bacon, and farm fresh egg). Previous review shows the Calabrese and espresso martini.

Yelp
The best pizza on the West coast. I will fly to. Vegas just to get a slice. Extra crisp - hot or cold so yummy

Yelp
Friendly staff, food was good. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table so walked around the area. Loved the music and the vibe in this area. I Ordered the eggplant parmigiana. It was perfect. Also ordered chicken Alfredo and shrimp linguine. It was good. A bit over priced to me but was craving pasta.

Yelp
Today I ate Ragu alla Bolognese at two places: Flour and Barley (pizzeria) and Casanova (trattoria). The dishes were flipped: Cassanova's was served with undercooked (not just al dente) rigatoni, while Flour & Barley used fresh Parpadelle. Cassanova used minced beef while Flour & Barley used pork and veal. The only complaint I have about Flour & Barley's is that they could have used a bit more sauce. The oven fired caprese pizza was good, great texture, but it was aggressively spicy hot (front- loaded, immediate). The garlic cheese bread used a lot of garlic. Depending on your tastes you may or may not like the spicy heat or garlic. Draft beer (a local IPA) was on the mild side (I pefer a bit more bitter but this was smooth and easy). Tiramisu was good too. Overall decent Italian for a nice pizza joint. Service was great too, friendly.

Yelp
Walking along the Linq promenade, I stop in at Flour and Barley. Now the promenade being a very touristy location, I'm thinking the restaurant food would be just so-so. Was I surprised. The calamari was quite good and the chardonnay was excellent. Highly recommended if you want a bite to eat.

Yelp
This place is good! It's perfect because it's just "off strip" enough to be affordable but still close enough to be desirable. Everything here was great!! The pizza was awesome. What I loved is that they will let you split a pizza which is nice. However, I must say I don't love being charged $5 to split a pizza I mean surely it doesn't cost $5 to only put pepperoni on half the pizza rather than the whole thing but it is what it is. All in all, very good place to eat!

Yelp
We had a large group eating together after a soccer tournament and we had some sensitive tummies we also had to account for. We heard that Flour and Barley could accommodate a larger party and had gluten free options. We sat out on the patio and were able to all sit together on a big long section with tables close together. Along with pizzas, there were pasta, salads, and apps to chose from. There is also a pretty good selection of sides, in case you wanted more of a sampling of something instead of ordering the whole meal, or had kiddos with you (which we did). We got the Big Apple and the Farmhouse pizzas to share, along with a few of the gluten free pizzas. Now, if you haven't ever had gluten free pizza, you wouldn't know just how delicious this gluten free crust was. Usually it's very grainy and not fluffy, sometimes just chewy in comparison to regular pizza crust. Or, places will just have the premade frozen gluten free pizza crust on hand. You can tell the difference in your pizza eating experience. This crust was light and airy. It had a nice softness and I almost preferred it to the other regular pizza. Our staff on the patio was attentive. While it did take a little while for the food to come out, he made sure we weren't short on drinks while we waited. I had signed up in advance for the VIP program but didn't receive any offers or discounts (still haven't, only marketing messages). We don't live in Vegas but this location will be on our list of places to come try again.

Yelp
The accommodation here was fantastic! My family and I, a group of 8, were seated promptly by the friendly staff, even without a reservation. The food was delicious; my favorite was the calamari with fried lemons, and the portion sizes were decent. While the appetizers were a bit small, one pizza was more than enough for two people. Overall, it was a very tasty experience, and I would certainly recommend it.
google avatar

Kasey Y.

Yelp
Empty on a Saturday at around 11. Service was super fast. Shared the big apple pizza, Greek salad, and the meatballs. The salad was fresh and refreshing, the pizza was very thin crust but tasty, and the meatballs were tender and sauce was good. Wasn't expecting much from this place for some reason but glad we stopped in. Would come again.

Yelp
A real gem in a sea of options around here in Las Vegas. Flour & Barley is putting out some amazing tasting food that stuck with me even after my trip was over. I got the marhgarita pizza and calamari fritti and both were excellent! This is hands down one of the first places I want to revisit for other items on the menu. Do yourself a favor and try this place out !

Yelp
I came here with a group of people from work. This spot was selected due to cost issues. To be fair, I'm not a big pizza/pasta fan, which limited my options. But most of the people I was with ended up with salads anyway. The branzino i ordered was nowhere near hot when it got to me. Luke warm sautéed fish is not that exciting. The space is rather generic. Our server was pleasant, but not outstanding - much like the entire experience. It's ok. The food is ok. The service is ok: The people who got pizza thought it was ok. If ok is your goal, and you don't mind paying the price of a bottle of wine for a 4-5 oz pour (I actually checked google), then you'll be happy. I was kind of blah on the whole thing.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Enjoyed a shared pizza, salad, and some appetizers for a quick lunch with clients. I would be back
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
The pizza looked so good as we walked by so we stopped for dinner. My friend is vegan and they actually had a vegan pizza! She said it was one of the better ones she had ever had. But the "vegan sausage-beans" was really grainy and there were way too many on there so she picked most of it off. But after that she ate the whole thing. I ordered the Hawaiian. Like I always do. It was really good. It just had a ton of cheese. Almost too much. I know, crazy! But that's all I tasted and felt in my mouth in some bites. But other than that it was good. The staff were all friendly and the food came out pretty fast.
google avatar

Yelp
After a late night of bar hopping, the wafting of pizza drew me to Flour and Barley. They have pizza by the slice and I ordered a slice or sausage and pepperoni and a slice of vegetable. This is a thin crust style with great cheese and fresh ingredients. Super friendly service and sturdy to-go boxes were much appreciated. The restaurant had closed for the day but had a window open for to-go orders. I'm sure the restaurant offers other items than pizza but specializes in different pizzas. I fully enjoyed the pizzas and will probably have a tummy ache from eating so late! What can I say, pizza is my Achilles Heel....and this place satisfied the craving! Sorry, no pics! Was sooo hungry on my way back to the hotel!!!!
google avatar

Saasha G.

Yelp
First off I wanna talk about the great service I had here. The wait staff went above and beyond to ensure our order was fulfilled perfectly. They also came back and checked back periodically to ensure we were enjoying our meal and needed anything. The food and drinks were good. The mimosa flight was really good and the pizza was great and came out hot and cheesy. I would definitely go back because the pizza was freshly made and tasted great and the drinks are strong.
google avatar

Gianna N.

Yelp
Outstanding food and service specially if you stay in the surrounding hotels. Staff is friendly and helpful and food is great. Seems like they are the only choice for late dinner that everyone in the family will agree. Well recommended.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
By far the best pizza in Vegas. Honestly one of the best pizza's I've ever eaten anywhere. And the caprese salad?

Yelp
Came here today during lunch hours on vacation from Louisiana. I ordered a few slices of pizza, 2 frozen limeades, and a water bottle. We then decided to go inside and eat because it was literally 113 outside. It was quite empty inside, however, we were told that we couldn't sit inside because it was dine-in only. So I spent about $60, but they refused to seat my son and I. I then told them that I would order something else inside in order to be seated, however, for whatever reason, they kept repeating over and over that I had to purchase (more) food inside order to eat inside. I very adamantly said "I'm aware and I WILL order something else, as I've already stated". I've never been treated like that at an establishment in all of my life. I ended up ordering chicken parm, which was pretty good....took the rest home, and still tipped my waiter who was a genuinely nice guy despite the previous treatment. The restaurant policy, however, is quite cheeky and inconsiderate. If I spend money at your establishment, I should have the option to dine in or take my food to go, regardless of where I handed my card to you. I actually spent more money on the pizza slices and drinks. It was quite money-grubbing and completely nonsensical. There are wayyyyy too many really great options around. Don't risk it here!

Yelp
Wonderful pizza. Great service. Cailynn was a great server. Highly recommend. Doesn't taste like every other pizza.

Yelp
I stopped in with family that was in town and one person is GF. This place is in the Linq promenade area and easily accessible. The menu isn't huge but very good. Salads, pastas and pizzas. We tried a GF pizza which was great. It was a bit like a Detroit thicker crust pizza. Others had a traditional margarita pizza which they enjoyed! We all shared a Caesar salad which had fresh Parmesan, homemade croutons and delicious dressing. Lastly, I tried gin drink on the cocktail menu, The Grinch! It was great! Huge square ice cube, delicious green sprinkle rim and some great mix! Our server was great. The restaurant decor was great and local VGK and Raiders! All was great!

Bob M.

Yelp
Great location decent pizza - good salad and pasta dish........................great service and attentive staff
google avatar

Nicki C.

Yelp
Get you a slice of pizza after a night out on the strip! They warm up the pizza and it's pretty good! As a Chicagoan I approve of this pizza. Wish we had more time to try the food during opening hours. Maybe next time! Service is quick and the ladies were friendly!

Yelp
Struggling through the cold trying to decide what to eat, stumbled upon flour & barley Great Pizza and mozzarella stick (the marinara sauce was awesome) Just a great place to grab pizza and appetizers
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Absolutely really great service! Everyone chips in here to make sure you have everything you need. Wings are delicious 10/10. Pizza was also good but a little greasy 8/10. Good place to go when you want some quick great service and solid food. Nothing crazy special about it just a solid choice.
google avatar

LIndsey H.

Yelp
Hostesses and waitress were SO lovely. Gluten-free crust vegan pizza was delicious although, I forgot to ask if the GF crust was vegan and had a bad reaction to it so I suspect not. Man it was really good though.
google avatar

Yelp
Fast service! We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. The pizza was made fresh & was so delicious

Yelp
We needed a quick meal between partying for our anniversary/vow renewal trip, and this place was it! No wait, great and quick service, and overall great food! The meatballs and Brussels? Oh my! And that cannoli with a cappuccino to finish it off? Perfect! We ate so many apps, I can't even name them all, and missed pics of a few. But let's just say, we probably ordered them all! If you need some good eats, drinks, and dessert, and happen to be strolling the Promenade between festivities, check these guys out! They won't let you down!
google avatar

George R.

Yelp
Menus below Beer list. Entrees. Dessert! Trying Spaghetti and meatballs. Google map put it in wrong spot. On the Promenade near In N Out.
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
I don't know...was this place amazing? No. Was this place terrible? Also no. Service was slow, food was mediocre, menu was plentiful and there was a huge line for pizza by the slice...so maybe I'm just missing something? There are better places. But there are probably also worse.
google avatar

Natalie P.

Yelp
We were in town for the weekend and I was delighted to find this place! I have a wheat allergy, so anytime I travel I look for new GF places I can try. Flour & Barley did not disappoint! Don't be fooled by the name - they have gluten free pizza, garlic cheese bread, and beer. I had the caputo cup pizza and the garlic cheese bread. It is hard to choose which one was best - the pizza was by far the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. It was very similar to deep dish pizza, and the texture and taste were great. The garlic cheese bread was so tasty and paired with the marinara sauce it was just perfect! I absolutely loved this place and hope to be back when we return to Vegas.

Ana Sophia C.

Yelp
Food: 10/10 amazing warm stretchy pizza Service: 8/10 took a little while for the waiter to come and was in a rush. Ambiance: 9.5/10 great order was good all of the food arived at the same time.
google avatar

Tiara S.

Yelp
The reason we came here was because they had a gluten free option. I was really happy to be able to eat pizza with such a fluffy dough. The problem was it lacked in sauce and was called an award winning pizza but was just ok. The service was quick and friendly. However it's overpriced for such a small pizza.
google avatar

Jon P.

Yelp
It's what you'd expect. Typical Italian restaurant on the strip. The food was alright but expensive. I had pizza which wasn't too bad. The crust was my favorite part. We had a great waiter which was the highlight of our experience here. Sitting outside was nice as well.
google avatar

Charles F.

Yelp
Looking for something to eat on the Promenade is not an issue but finding something vegan can be challenging. I had some options especially with Yard House. I was intrigued with Flour & Barley's vegan pizza option so I walked in and was greeted and seated immediately. I passed my order to the server and got a sparkling water. I was expecting the pizza to take some time but before I could finish a couple of TikTok video clips, my pizza arrived. It's a good size for the price and overall tasted okay My server was friendly and the restaurant had a couple of tables. I ate about half, asked for a box, and paid the 22 bill and left. It wasn't earth shattering but it was enough to keep me fueled for the walk on the strip in the heat. If you're in need of a vegan or gluten free options Four & Barley is an option
google avatar

Divya S.

Yelp
Such a nice restaurant at the Linq! We stopped in to have a quick dinner at Flour & Barley and had a great time. Clean restaurant and wonderful service. We enjoyed the Greek salad and the Vampire Slayer pizza. The salad was awesome, but as for the pizza the toppings could've been evenly distributed better. Some slices were loaded while others barely had any toppings. Overall it was a good experience! It's right in the heart of the promenade do you can't miss it :)

Yelp
Came to celebrate my daughter's graduation, and the server was extremely dry. No personality, service was mediocre at best, and we even found a hair in our food. Had to wait an extremely long time just to get the check and our food. It wasn't even busy. It seemed like everyone in there was just over it and didn't want to be there and it showed. Not the best service, and that's coming from someone who works in the service industry. It's really sad that It's like this, nowadays. Probably will never come back. I get working on the strip is hectic, but you should treat people better, especially us locals. Not everyone who walks in is a tourist.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a weekend for dinner. There was an ample amount of space in the store. The service was exceptional; we had two servers and they were both super friendly. We gauged the size of the pizzas by looking at the other diners around us, and I recommend ordering more than one to share/try different flavors. But they could be personal pizzas for a hungry person. They're quite small, artisanal I would say. And this is all at $20+ per person. Welcome to the Strip, am I right? We got the brussels sprouts for a fresh kick, but unfortunately they were a bit too salty and the sauce was unevenly dispersed. Some pieces were dry while others exploded with salty juice. Farm house (mozzarella, smoked bacon, cotto ham, fennel sausage, roasted onion & farm egg) - My dad raved about this pizza ever since his first time here so this was the reason why he took us. I found it to be a bit dry albeit still tasty. Parma pizza (mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, prosciutto, arugula & balsamic glaze) - After gorging ourselves on the Strip for several days, the freshness of the arugula and the tanginess of the balsamic glaze in this pizza was much welcomed. Overall, this was nice to try and it may be a worthy spot to satisfy pizza cravings, but I'd mainly go for convenience if you're staying nearby, not out of the way.

Yelp
0 stars on service. Very rude hostess in the front on a Thursday night. We asked how long the wait was and she told us 40 mins for inside and no wait outside. So we take a look outside and see several tables open. So we asked to sit outside near a heater, since our kids would be cold outside. She sits us all the way in the corner under an umbrella (it was night time so no need for the Umbrella to be open). And the heater wasn't close to us either. And the brown cushion seats were all torn up and dirty looking. So she puts menus on the 3 red chairs away from the brown torn up seats and she says "you guys will sit here on the red chairs" and left. We looked at the table, it was dirty, the floor was dirty with food, the seats were torn, there was an umbrella over us at night and no heater. We looked for her to tell her we wanted another table and we couldn't find her. So found our own and when we found her to tell her we wanted to switch to that table, she immediately told us she was saving that new table for a reservation (which in fact we heard them at the front and they didn't have a reservation and asked to sit inside, not outside). I told her the table you gave us doesn't have a heater and the kids are cold and the seats are torn. All she said to me was "they have 7 people and you have 3" and she said "they have a reservation and I was holding it for them". We didn't want to make a scene and the other party was there too, so we took the high road and got up from the table so that party could sit at our table. How embarrassing is that? We got up and left and we didn't return or wait for another table. The hostess was completely rude and disrespectful and we felt like she was discriminating against us. Such a bad experience just to get seated at a table. The hostess needs more training on customer service, manners and discrimination. Wish we spoke to the manager, but we were short on time and needed to find another place to eat before our show. Be careful coming here.

Yelp
**Best gluten free pizza I've found in all of my travels** Never disappoints- Flour & Barley have an award-winning dough recipe where it fluffs up and still has a slight crunch, so gluten-free diners can enjoy a phenomenal, unique, and shareable pizza/garlic bread that won't make you sick. Their kitchen is capable of Celiac-friendly conditions, just ask the waitstaff. They also have gluten free pastas on the menu, which I'll definitely be trying next time I'm in Vegas Seasoned, cooked and served to perfection. Nothing disappoints at this place, try it out!

Yelp
My husband and I shared a pizza. It was plenty of food for us and really good. We ate at a number of places in the promenade and this is definitely one of the better meals we had.
