My friends and I decided to stop in for an early dinner. I'm gluten, dairy and soy free but a carnivore and two others are vegan. The cashier was knowledgeable about food allergens, there were no issues with cross contamination. My friend who doesn't have food allergies got the gluten free Mac and cheese and enjoyed it. I had the Peruvian braised beef without the salsa and I also tasted the cauliflower risotto and chili sesame sweet potatoes. I also had the lemon olive oil cupcake and the sangria that had guava. We all enjoyed our meals and this is a great place to keep in mind of you have food sensitivities, are a carnivore, vegan or vegetarian.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado. I randomly stumbled upon this location when I lived near the Boulder area in 2019. I now live out of state but will easily travel out of my way to make it for a meal here when I’m in the area. I can remember doing takeout multiple times a week to support them during covid. I’ve always received speedy service & the food is always delicious. The sweet chili glazed sweet potatoes are seriously my favorite side along with their mac & cheese. I’ll always be a fan & it’s a refreshing place to receive whole foods & fresh ingredients.

Ordered on DoorDash. My friend’s bowl had maybe 3 pieces of sweet potato and no kale. The only part that was acceptable was the steak and even that was light. Wild.

Flower Child Boulder is absolutely rocking it. I’m so impressed by the entire team — from the person taking our order, to the chefs, the dishwashers, management, and everyone in between. You can truly feel the teamwork and care that goes into this place. Thank you all for your dedication to high-quality, thoughtfully prepared food that I genuinely feel good about putting in my body. Amazing food! I loved the yakisoba noodles and I substituted for steak, best decision ever! The Forbidden rice bowl is a great choice as well. They have fresh juices and teas that are ranging from sweet to herbal.

One of the employees, Sella, was exceptional. She took my order a couple of weeks ago and impressed me with the knowledge of her product, her patience with my friends custom order, and her friendliness. Today she was the same way. I used to own a company with sixty employees and I know quality people when I see them!

Love Flower Child!! My husband and I decided to try it for a healthy lunch on our trip through CO. Wow! It did not disappoint! Everything was excellent, we loved it so much that we came back a second time the next day. There’s really no wrong selection and there’s something for everyone. I do highly recommend the lemon cakes though. :)

Had a fun “Mother Earth” bowl for my birthday dinner it was a fun place

First off the food was amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, the steak was imo perfectly done and the portions were large, I loved the risotto and squash as well! The server and cashiers were all very nice and their service was fast. I also saw a customer complaining to the staff about the food and they handled it extremely well when he was being rude. The place also had amazing ambiance it was well lit, clean and the decoration were beautiful!

Excellent food. Build your own entree. Service was quick , Food delivered to your table, per a number flag ure given. cleanup was efficient and un rushed. Dining area is clean and modern.

In town to visit CU and wanted a healthy quick lunch! The space is open and well appointed - lots of tables and cute ambiance! The menu is definitely different and everything was excellent quality! This wouldn't be a place to bring picky eaters but we enjoyed it!

Came into town with my parents who are not fans of most greasy or fried food. This place was such a lifesaver!! The food is fresh and delicious. Pricing isn't horrible for the area and definitely is a great choice if your family has fresher dietary preferences. Staff was friendly and restaurant is cute.

Clean and healthy feeling food! They have a variety of bowls and salads. Tried the chopped vegetable salad which was tasty, definitely a very gingery dressing. It was exactly what I needed.

While visiting Boulder my wife and I were happy to find Flower Child. Of course we only have so much time while visiting and want to try so many places but Flower Child was so good we had to have it twice in such a short time. The food was so fresh and flavorful and the abundance of gluten free options really was fantastic. And of course that chocolate chip cookie really hit the spot. Especially after letting it warm up a little in the sun! We will gladly come back next time we are in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and attentive to keeping things flowing smoothly. There is ample indoor seating and a nice outdoor space as well.

A great healthy lunch spot! They have a great menu of different options - salads, bowls, wraps, etc. And a variety of drinks too. Their lemonade was really good and not overly sweet. I got the Mediterranean chicken kabob bowl and it was super yummy! You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you. And the inside was super cute. They also have a covered patio which would be nice to sit outside when it's warm. I would definitely come back!

Very excellent place for a healthy meal whereby you don't feel like...well... crap after you eat there. Very tasty salads and a very good fruit side dish Go there... Again!

What a cute place! They have a very healthy fresh menu with interesting items and combinations. The Thai chicken meatballs were incredible, the dish looks small but it was so filling. They have a variety of drink options to choose from including rose petal lemonade and tea. The service was fast and the place was very busy, very popular.

A solid option if you are wanting casual fast healthy food. Order at the counter and build your own meal or choose from one of the preset options. We've gotten food to go and eaten inside many times. My family loves this place - good or vegetarian options. I personally find it a little bit pretentious, like they are trying too hard to be "Boulder".

This place was awesome. Order in line and snag a table. Farm fresh bowls and much more. Great ingredients and very tasty food. Recommend the sesame noodle bowl with chicken. Very friendly service as well and a nice water station to save you $$. We'll be back when we visit the kids at school !

Ate lunch here for the first time today, and it was so delicious! Portions are generous and the quality of the food is amazing--definitely worth the price. We got the ginger miso crunch with salmon (cooked medium rare, as requested) and the avocado caesar with chicken. I couldn't believe how generous they were with the avocado! I don't think I've ever been given this much at any restaurant...like ever. Please don't change that, because that would be such a disappointment. Also, props to flower child for actually cooking our salmon to medium rare--you'd be surprised how many restaurants, even in Hawaii, mess that one up and ignore the customer's request. Loved the ambiance and the option to sit indoors or outdoors. Staff was nice as well, which can make or break a dining experience. I'd definitely return and would consider doing take out in the future. Highly recommend.

Omg! I would totally come back to this place. The quality of the healthy yumminess is right up my alley and the ambiance is wonderful! There's indoor/outdoor dining available. The workers are nice too.

Great adult food. Love all the bowls and salads (highly recommend the lemon muffins. They're legendary) but my one feedback would be to have a better kids menu. Their mac & cheese has very sharp cheese in it so the kids won't eat that. I'm really nothing else that's not a little bit exotic. Need some plain food for the kids. :)

While traveling I try to be extra conscious of my eating habits. So often it's tempting to just grab and go with something quick that's not nutritious. My girlfriend recommended we try Flower Child in Boulder while we were out and about. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are very kind, the food taste so fresh and clean. I ordered the strawberry beet salad & Thai wrap. Both taste absolutely fresh and amazing. I felt full, energized after lunch and didn't feel like I needed a nap!

Ate here two nights in a row as I wanted something easy to digest, healthy and relatively clean. I was not disappointed either evening and tried both the bowls and salads as well as various protein additions. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and comfortable.

I love Flower Child and wish we had one in California. It's a great chain restaurant with such healthy options...not to mention its delicious! I found it helpful that their calories are displayed and as someone who is eating healthy that makes a big difference in how I fuel my body. Thankful for Flower Child! Please expand to Cali! lol!

Today was my 1st time here, ordered for takeout a salmon entree: the salmon was very bland but cooked well, the rice was fine, the glazed sweet potatoes were very, very bad. Some of them were brown/black in places (didn't look like it was coloration due to a char or a grill) & some pieces were so uncooked it was like biting into a raw potato, so I had to take a small bite of each piece carefully to see if it was even edible or not. I've heard good things about this place so I'm disappointed. The interior was very cute when I went in to pick up though!

Ordered delivery, paid44$ for this order. Got to me fast. Food was tasty. However, NO plastic wear, NO napkins. I called and the young lady who answered said, "that's unusual "? Had to eat with my hands. Not cool. So, a f/u on this review. The manager responded to my review, and gifted me a card the value of my meal. Five stars all around.

This place was great. It felt really inviting. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious. The staff was good, not great, but you don't interact with them much, so that's fine. I had a bowl and added chicken, it was really good. My husband had a wrap and liked it. I also got a kale side salad and he got a GF Mac & cheese salad. We liked all of it. The sweet potatoes were amazing!! The lemon avocado (I think that's what it was) dressing was delicious. I also got a cashew Choc chip cookie. It was good. I'd definitely return and would like one closer to home.

Got delivery from here and boy was it fast! Much quicker than the estimated time. The food was very flavorful, but I'm not entirely sure all the flavors went together. Overall, a nice nutrion packed meal! Hope to stop by and get the full restaurant experience some time in the near future.

Such a cute place inside! Very clean and the staff is very on top of everything. My rose petal lemonade was very yummy! I also had the Mother Earth bowl with Steak. It was seriously so delicious! I love the menu here and want to try everything. Great ingredients. Very happy with my visit.

If there was a Flower Child in Lexington I would be tempted to give up cooking and just eat there every day! We did a day trip in Boulder and we're impressed with the many delicious dining options available! We wanted to pick up lunch to go and eat at Chautauqua Park nearby. My husband opted for an empanada spot but Flower Child caught my eye with its many veggie options. I ordered the Mother Earth bowl with tofu and it was delicious! There were a few different components of the bowl that all complimented each other and with the added tofu made for a filling lunch. The tofu was marinated/season in something that gave it the flavor profile reminiscent of baked chicken. There were so many menu options it was tough to choose and I wish I could eat there again soon- too bad it is a plane ride away for me!

Good food and nice staff but the place always feels filthy. They need to wipe their inside and outside tables down more frequently. And their bathrooms need more consistent attention. And for some reason they blast their music volume so loud.

LOVE Flower Child Boulder. After a *TRULY* traumatizing experience at [redacted, in Greenwood Village], where no less than *11* people have *LAUGHED* at my dad's COVID death [redacted Yelp Review link of said business], I decided to frequent a [redacted] waxing salon in Boulder instead, for my monthly waxing appointments. [NOTE: Yelp does not like other businesses referenced within reviews, so see my other reviews for details.] While driving home to Denver on 28th during one of my visits, I saw the Flower Child sign, and was like, "OOOOOHHHH, SAFE SPACE"! Or, so the part of me that spent 5-years living in the SF Bay area thought, and I was right! This is such a happy find, and I absolutely love their foods, salads, staff, vibe/ambiance, and the other people who frequent this location. It's now become my "after wax" lunch / early dinner spot, and I always look forward to my visits. Sometimes, I'll take my salad up to Chautauqua, and eat outside, next to the Flat Irons. Just like the 1-year I lived in Boulder for freshman year. Even better, I've started Weight Watchers (old school 90s version) points & my Peloton, and have lost 12-lbs in the past 4-wks, and discovered that their Chopped Vegetable + Chicken + sub Lemon Avocado dressing is only 8 points (and I can have 28 points/day). Super stoked.

I am updating my review since I received a gift card. I ordered the salmon with 2 sides- cauliflower "risotto" and red chili glazed sweet potato with hot tea came out to about $21.00 plus a tip. The salmon did not have any seasoning on it, the cauliflower that was so delicious before Covid, is now salty and not tasty, the sweet potatoes were overly salty. Sad as I used to enjoy having Meetups with my group here before we would go to the movies.

Great healthy lunch spot! The menu is extensive - has a variety of salads and bowls, or you can make your own plate with protein & veggies. Can accommodate any dietary needs. I opted for the Italian chopped salad with chicken and it was delish! Next time i plan to try one of their bowls! Service was fast and friendly!

This bright cafe restaurant serves healthy fare at reasonable prices. I enjoy their rotating kombucha. My yakisoba resembles what I had in Japan. Their other bowls are worth trying. My friends had enjoyable meals, too. Order at the counter and someone will bring your food. There's usually a short line, but it goes quick. I didn't have to wait long.

Popped in here while cruising neighborhoods in advance of a likely relocation to the Denver area from out of state. We were searching for a place to eat where we could get a good salad and other healthy-ish options after too many days of road trip calorie bombs. Hahaha. We really liked this place and will be in regularly once we have gotten settled. Great menu selection, nicely varied beverage options, including beer and wine, and all the food appears to be very high quality for such a casual place. The staff are all cheerful, super friendly, and very helpful, which just makes it twice as good! It's not inexpensive for a semi-counter-service spot, but it didn't seem outrageous, either. You order and pay at the counter, then grab your own non-booze bevs and utensils, and take your number-sign to a table of your choosing. The excellent patio (some covered, some not), decent portions, high quality ingredients, and lovely staff, all make it worth the price. That day's soup (a minestrone with quinoa and white beans) was full of veg and very tasty. As a huge fan of soups, I could've eaten a double order of just that for my entire meal. Yum. I also had the chopped veg salad with grilled chicken add on. It was perfectly fresh, with a nice combo of vegetables, a generous amount of tasty chicken, and a delicious not overly sweet miso dressing. A light but filling dish. Will def get this one regularly. Husband had an enchilada "bowl" which was really just a plate of enchiladas. It was good but not amazing. Probably wouldn't get it again. He also got the avocado hummus with pita, and that was really quite good. We both had wine, which were both of decent quality, and reasonably priced per pour. If you want fresh healthy homemade style food, love patios as much as we do, and don't mind paying a bit more for it, give this one a shot.

Yum, yum, yum! Such a great variety of food for anyone & everyone & the prices were very reasonable, along with the portion sizes. Servers were super friendly & helpful. Plenty of seating in a very casual atmosphere. Definitely a keeper!

Delicious! Avocado hummus...who knew? The cauliflower risotto was so good, I was afraid the coconut would be overpowering but it wasn't. We had sweet potato fries which came with an amazing buttermilk ranch dip. You need to bottle that stuff, OMG. By the way the staff was friendly and it has a very cute dining room.

Great healthy food... They are very accommodating to any food restrictions and love that they list full ingredients I typically order the Glow bowl which seems to be one of their more popular items but they offer a nice variety of American and International cuisine Also, if you like Kombucha they have the best!

I frequent this location, and I've had multiple occasions where I've had to send the food back. The location in Cherry Creek is super on point, so when I come to Boulder I can tell a huge difference between the two locations with the quality of food. Today, I ordered salmon, rice and sweet potatoes since they were out of about 5-7 items on the menu. Not my normal thing to order. I sat outside for a while waiting for my food. Ended up needing to take my food to go, and asked if it was still possible to get it to go. They confirmed they hadn't even started my order yet. I had already been waiting for about 15+ minutes, and then had to wait another 15 or so minutes. They were not busy. Get home to eat, and the rice and salmon are way overcooked. Chewy. Food completely cold, not the slightest bit warm. Can't eat almost half the rice because it's so hard and chewy. Wasn't able to send it back this time since I had it to go. But, this will be the 3rd to 4th time I have been displeased with the food. Never once had any issues at the Cherry Creek location and the food is always fresh and delicious, so hoping maybe Boulder can take some notes and step it up. I hadn't been in months because of the last experience I had there, so probably not likely I'll return to this location. Boulder is stacked with options luckily. However, the person who took my order was very nice, so atleast there is that.

Flower Child is not only delicious, but it's such a cute environment. I love the artwork and the overall vibes. I met up with a friend who was in town visiting and I think we were there for close to 3 hours. The staff were all very upbeat and friendly and had no problem with us staying there and chatting. They have an indoor and semi-outdoor area...lots of seating. The food is all healthy and delicious. I ordered the butternut squash lasagna and it was so yummy. They also have great portions and all sustainable packaging, including straws made from plants (which blows my mind). I highly recommend going and checking out Flower Child if you haven't already! No complaints for them at all.

I stopped in on a Wednesday midday and it was fairly busy but it's spacious with plenty of seating inside and out (they have a covered patio). There's also plenty of parking. I got the Mother Earth bowl and added tofu. It was fresh, vegan, and delicious. It could've been a little bigger for the price, but there was practically half an avocado on top, so that was a plus. I wish the tofu was seasoned better but overall it was a tasty and healthy meal!

My daughter loves this place so we decided to go for lunch recently. On a Thursday, the place was surprisingly busy (considering the location by Safeway, I expected it to be mostly empty, so wrong!). Service was friendly, and the atmosphere lovely, even a nice patio with cool French bistro chairs. The food is very fresh and tasty, feels like you eat healthy without compromising flavor. Great spot for lunch!

The food at this place is fantastic! There were six of us, and we all ordered something different and then sampled from each other's meals. I had the Shrimp protein with the Sichuan Green Beans, Snap Peas, and Red Chile Glazed Sweet potato sides. The Sichuan Green Beans and Snap Peas side has red chili crunch, crumbled tofu, cashew, and cilantro. The Red Chile Glazed Sweet potato side is made with bok choy & sesame seeds. Both of these sides were exploding with freshness and flavor! The place is spotless, and the workers are very friendly and attentive. We will come back to this place when we are in the Boulder, Colorado, area again.

Chicken Enchilada bowl was outstanding from the first bite to the last! Loved that all the gluten free options were marked on the menu. Made my choices really easy.

Loved the food I got here and they had house made kombucha that was completely delicious. Everything was very colorful and nourishing I really liked the energy here, too! Would totally come back.

Finally, a decent lunch option in Boulder for business lunches that isnt the Kitchn. Most of the other reviewers commented on the fresh, healthy and delicious options that are at Flower Child, so not much more for me to say. I had the "entree", which was the salmon, some brussel sprouts and sweet potatoe. The person that i was dining with had a turkey salad. Both were really good; extremely fresh, well seasoned, balanced flavor profiles. My brussell sprouts could have been better (they should have been cut prior to cooking) and the sweet potatoes were slightly over seasoned/overcooked. However quite a bit of food, and unlike other reviewers, i thought the price quite reasonable for the quality. They are keeping it safe there during covid. i had left my mask at the table and when we were ordering (at the cashier; its not sit down waiter service), a nice hostess came by and gave us free masks to put on (nice way of enforcing mask policies in the restaurant, kudos). I will be back for sure.

Food is good and healthy. Wish there were new things to try. Getting a little bored. Chairs in the restaurant are the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced.

Love Flower Child! I'm definitely a repeat customer. This is one of my favorite places to come to have a heathy meal. My favorite thing to get so far is the 3 veg sides entree. I've gotten the Mother Earth bowl as well, and it's yummy too.

If you like food that makes you FEEL good, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Good healthy portion sizes, food is soooo fresh. Wonderfully unique menu. I was incredible impressed and would come back every day if I could.

What a nice surprise. Met my Dad for lunch in Boulder and have been disappointed with our lunch options in the past. The Flower Child did not disappoint and the menu options were amazing and the service was amazing.

Very green Had the turkey Cobb. Not much turkey that I was able to find in the salad. Swimming in dressing and packed with pickled onions. If your into vegan this is your place and those that are not it's still going to be ok. This is a salad chain restaurant and you will feel like you had a healthy meal when you leave.
