Flyrite Chicken Austin Airport Review - Austin-Bergstrom International Airport - Austin - The Infatuation

"Flyrite does one thing, and they do it pretty well—fried chicken in sandwich and tender form. The sandwiches use breast meat, but through some combination of brining and perpetual good luck (or maybe that’s just called experience), the chicken manages to stay juicy on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The best part is their six different house-made sauces to choose from (we like the cucumber yogurt)." - Nicolai McCrary

The chicken was fresh but tasted like 5 day old grease. The bacon mac n cheese was cold and dry and flavorless. 🤢 The only thing that had any flavor and tasted good was the roasted cream corn. They should use the spices in that on the other foods...or any spice would be nice!

Google
I had really high hopes for Flyrite because of their seemingly tasty options, but I was honestly underwhelmed by this experience. To start off, going through the drive-thru wasn’t a very good idea; I spent a good 30 minutes in line before actually reaching the point where you order. I tried the chicken strips and the only remotely good thing about that was the flavor of the breading and the sauces it came with. The chicken itself had the most odd texture, almost rubbery and I definitely didn’t like the way it felt in my mouth. I’m not really sure I’d be willing to go back and try another menu item which is rare for me because I’m all about giving places second chances.

Google
*edit January 2021 Had a significantly better experience with the 'Greenbelt' vegan sandwhich, it's delicious now! Also the employee Reuben was the most friendly and personable drive through experience I've ever had! ---- I'm glad they have vegetarian options - although at its price point I'm not sure I'd come here instead of a p terrys veggie burger or different fast food option. Staff has always seemed a little miffed to be there, sadly.

Google
It was so-so. Customer service was good, but something about the food... I don’t know, it wasn’t bad, just not too great. I had the standard burger (spicy) with tots, my kids had the chicken strips with tots.

Google
They're credit card system wasn't working so lunch was free! Amazing customer service, great chicken and fries. The super seed salad was a *ton* of quinoa. Like an obscene amount really... I ate the chicken (hungry!) Before taking the pic, oops.

Lori Chesley

Google
Staff was rude. Coleslaw was old and wilted. Grilled chicken was overdone with bun so hard it was inedible. Something has changed; this place used to be good!

Chris Baker

Google
The chicken sandwiches here are good but a bit pricey. I had the club 512 with tater tots and a drink and it came out to just a little over $11. If the sandwiches were bigger, that would justify the price more.

Daniel Jinks

Google
Tasty food, interior fits the Austin vibe, and dog-friendly patio. Buffalo sauce is a level hotter than... some other chicken sandwich restaurants around town. And splurge for the SuperFly; it's worth it. You gotta eat it quick because the food isn't served very hot. Drive-thru will be cold by the time you turn onto Burnet. Otherwise, really happy I have an alternative to... Well, the other chicken sandwich restaurant.

Yelp
Tasty grilled chicken sandwich. Will not buy a cookie again--flat, oily and chewy...............

Yelp
I used to go here a lot because I liked the sandwich and it was near home, but the bread has been really bad lately, like super stale and falling apart. When it's good, it's like brioche. When it's bad, it's really bad, like stale white bread. Chicken is still good. They've decreased hours lately too - went by at 5:30 and they were closed.

Yelp
This place is terrible. Take your money elsewhere. Their food tastes like they made a sandwich 2 days ago and reheat it to a point where it's barely warm. Terrible waste of money

Yelp
I needed something to snack on after class and got a kids meal. 5 piece tender nuggets and Mac N cheese. I'm not going back. It was not bad. There was just nothing amazing for me to go back. I may consider a second chance on someone else.

Yelp
I get the Beyond Chicken Strips here. They're great! (I will always choose Impossible Foods over Beyond Meat but their chicken strips are delicious.) Their Sidewinder Fries are like nothing I've seen before. They're a broad spiral-cut potato, so crunchy, and (with all that surface area,) a perfect delivery system for their fun and imaginative sauces. My favorites are the Sriracha Mayo and their house ("Hoss") Sauce. The server Jesse is so friendly and kind. They brand themselves on the conviction that "fast food" can be "real food." I agree -- well-executed.

Yelp
I'm vegetarian, so there's not much I will eat on the menu, but they do have one of my favorite veggie burgers around! The patty is so crispy! And you can never go wrong with some tots. :) I hadn't been to this location in a while, and although the food was exactly what I was expecting, I can't say the same for the service. I ordered online, and due to traffic arrived 30 minutes after I placed the order, but somehow my food wasn't ready. It was a little bit after lunch and they weren't very busy. I don't know if the ticket got lost but the point of ordering ahead was so I could just pick it up and go. Instead I had to stand at the counter for 5-10 min while they made it. Not an ideal experience at a fast food place.

Yelp
My husband and I love this place. I'm actually a vegetarian so I don't eat meat, but they have an absolutely amazing vegetarian chicken sandwich. I believe it's called the Greenbelt. It's so good. Even my non-vegetarian husband loves it. I always get their tater tots and they are always so crispy. And I got a milkshake from there once, and it was the tastiest milkshake I've ever had. I only come here occasionally as a treat, but when I do, it's always wonderful. I usually always go through the drive-through, but I've never had any issues with staff. Two thumbs up!

Connor D.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients and quality people! The staff are always very friendly and helpful at this location. I go here for lunch often and have never had a bad experience.

Yelp
This is NOT a place where you can get a 2 pc leg, thigh, and biscuit. It's breaded chicken sandwiches or strips. It's like Cane's - which I'm not a fan of due to the weird and bad tasting sauces. But if you ARE a fan, this might be the place for you. Also, they have the weird brand, 'alternative' soft drinks - one of the flavors has cardamom added. It's fine if you don't mind all this- but don't come if you're looking for a traditional chicken place

Yelp
This place came highly recommended, told that the chicken was delicious . . . Maybe I just came on an off day but regardless, this was NOT good. Came in and there was no crowd, stared at the menu board (I need them to either make something light up on that board or provide a paper version so folks who have eye problems can read it) asked questions and proceeded to order. Got the kids meal with the chicken tenders, a chicken sandwich, tots, and a beer (had to pick three beers cause the first two didn't work). Note that everything is Al a carte, there is no combos here. I couldn't get my own fountain drink because the drinks in the lobby didn't work. I asked for pineapple cream soda and was informed they didn't have that so went with something else. Found a seat, then they called us that our food was ready. What was on the tray didn't look too appealing but hey we are here now. The chicken strips weren't hot, they were tough, greasy, and flavorless. The tots were hot but greasy and needed to be hit with some salt. The chicken sandwich was meh. For an almost $30 meal this was a total waste. I can't say I'm gonna rush back to give it another try because I can't afford another $30 for another bland, greasy meal. Oh, if you check in with Yelp you can get either a free cookie or a koozie (it will be a cookie cause they didn't have a clue what a koozie was).

Yelp
I'll be honest, the chicken sandwich wasn't the best I've had. I am giving the place four stars because of the woman working the drive-through. She was incredibly sweet, letting me know that it was taking a couple extra minutes because she wanted to cook to make sure my fries were hot. When she handed me my food, she told me that she had put a " little surprise" in the bag for me, and she had thrown in a free chocolate chip cookie. I mean it was little things, I know, but she just had the best attitude!

Yelp
Super good really fresh and has good veggies on it the sauce is killer and the sidewinder fries are perfect.. enjoy

Yelp
It's great food. A bit over priced I feel for what you are getting but good none the less. Only other draw back is that sometimes it feels this location is understaffed cause the drive through will be open but no one there to take an order for a good chunk of time. As of late this hasnt been the case. Still just be ready. The staff is super nice and very chill. I would definitely suggest you try the 512 it's my fav. Plus you can get vegan options which is a huge plus for me since I have friends that don't eat meat.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to this place HOWEVER............Went through the drive through. 1-Super fly sandwich: a step below warm and a step above cold, and lacked flavor. 2- Fries: Dry, tasteless and stale. 3- Mac n cheese: taste like Kraft. 4- Person taking the order: Dry as a bone. Will not refer this place and wont return. ‍

Yelp
Such a fun place for dinner with the kids! We came by after school and the service/Archie was GREAT! Our food was yummy. They have beer and wine for mom and dad. And shakes for the kids. My Caesar wrap was delicious - so many chicken places have mostly fried foods but this had stuff I like too! we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Tried to stop by and place an order tonight however they told me they were closed before 9pm ...

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for months. Always seeing their tantalizing chicken sandwich pictures on drunken nights out in the Domain. We came in Sunday at 8. The whole bar had maybe 5 people in it, which should have been a sign right away. You order via a broken kiosk screen which is double sketchy. I ordered a cowboy with tots and fried pickles. Our tots came out COLD and undercooked. The sauce didn't make up for anything. They're all basic sauces you can find at the store. I was thankful for the fresh jalapeños, but the whole sandwich was cold even though it was "just made". The chicken is very low quality. It's a thin strip of chicken and has a very mealy texture. It's what I'd expect from a sonic drive thru. It's nowhere near the quality you'd expect for $12. The fried pickles were also very gummy. They actually came out hot though so that was nice. Overall just avoid this place. There's no service and the food is barely frozen quality.

Yelp
I have to say that I have been wanting to try this establishment for a long time now. Five months ago, when I was in town, the establishment was closed waiting for some sort of approval from the city but today I was pleased to find it open so my friends and I went in and had a bite for lunch. When I first came in I was thrown off by the ordering process. They have taken the kiosk ordering to the ultimate level, meaning there is no one at the counter to take your order nor to direct the client to the kiosk or flat-screen ordering center. After walking over to ask the bartender if we should seat ourselves I was informed how to order first. I ordered the Korean Spicy Barbeque chicken sandwich, Loaded Tater Tots and a soda. My friends ordered too and we all sat down. I noticed a window in a wall behind the entrance wall that had the words "Pick Up Order Here" stenciled on it. Since our party of seven had ordered enough food to feed a small army I was wondering how that was going to work. How would we all know what we had ordered and how was the cook or server to know what to call out? Well, the server didn't call out. As we started to see food being placed in the window we began to hover around the window like vultures asking what sort of sandwiches she was placing out was called. Based on that we just grabbed it and took it to the table. My thought this that this will be a problem if and when they get busy. It isn't sustainable. The loaded tater tots looked better than what they tasted. The tots, lamentably, were undercooked and detracted from the dish as a whole. The creamy cheese was good, as well as the bacon, chives, and chopped jalapenos. It was the uncooked inside and the lack of crispy outsides that sank the dish. The Spicy Korean Chicken Sandwich was not as I had expected. The Gochujang sauce was prepared as a sweet and spicy sauce. But there was no balance in the sauce. There was much more sweetness to it than spicy. It was an "ok" sandwich. I would check on the Gochujang sauce recipe and fry those tater tots 3 minutes more if I were the line-chef.

Yelp
Came when it was slow. Nobody was in the drive through line and food was fresh. Pickles are made in house and so flavorful. Felt bloated after eating and a few hours afterwards not sure why. The man in the drive through was very nice and gave me an extra apple juice. Didn't know the juice they had was a little box juice lol. They don't take Apple Pay so I had to drive around to get my wallet. Priced moderately and better than Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich in my opinion. Only 4 stars for no Apple Pay and bloating from the bread.

Yelp
Ordered at the drive-thru and noticed a sign that showed pictures of tacos for "Taco Tuesday". I asked if they only serve tacos on Tuesday, the lady on the other side said very snarky"Yes sir" (I'm female). I asked her I'm sorry, and she then responded louder and very rudely, "Yes SIR it's only on Tuesdays, that's why it's called TACO TUESDAY". I advised her it's Mam and what I wanted to order. She didn't apologize and just responded sharply repeating my order. When I got to the window I thought I'm sure seeing me she'll apologize and say it was a misunderstanding. Instead, she snatched my credit card quickly and closed the window. At this point when I got my card back I asked to speak to a manager and she rolled her eyes. While explaining to the manager what happened and how rude she was, the girl stood behind the manager and just laughed then dismissed me by waving her hand with attitude. The manager said she'll talk to her but I'll NEVER return to this establishment again. Not only is the food mediocre, but to have that kind of service on top of crappy overpriced food is more than anyone needs to deal with. Give your money to Happy chick's, tumble 22 , or even short stop and you'll get better chicken and better service.
google avatar

Alicia K.

Yelp
Well I will say, I like their pickles. And the kale side salad is yum! The Mac and cheese tho? Oh no, so mushy and far from flavorful. Now on to the chicken... the grilled chicken seems to be a sad frozen piece of plastic. But if you fry it? Well that makes everything better! So yes, it's somewhere to try if you don't want to go to your typical fast food joint for chicken. But don't hold your breath. And if you don't mind paying $4 for a lemonade, you may have just found your newest mediocre drive thru establishment. And be sure to order pickles!

Yelp
We ate at Flyrite last night for dinner. It has been a family favorite in the past. With most of us being vegetarian, we have always enjoyed the vegetarian chicken sandwich and multiple side item options. As usual, I ordered the vegetarian chicken sandwich, Greenbelt. Also, I noted that a new item was Beyond chicken tenders on the menu which was labeled as such. There was no mention of a change to the Greenbelt Patty. I have been eating the sandwich for years and have never had an issue with it. We did not know that it used to be a Boca Patty, but now they have apparently changed it to a mycoprotein (generic Quorn) patty. I am severely allergic to this product, which is a MOLD, or VAT-GROWN FUNGUS. There is supposed to be a warning on the product as there have been many other people who have had severe allergic reactions, and even died from eating this product. I have been very careful to avoid it since discovering this allergy in 2003, and have only encountered it one other time when it was hidden in a dish until yesterday. A few hours after dinner, just like prior times, I became violently ill, up all night, vomiting, severe abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. My husband called to inquire, and the manager confirmed that the product is mycoprotein-based, and that they had not had a chance to update their information yet. This is completely egregious!!! They should be held accountable for this. As a physician, this is highly concerning that a company would change a product to a known allergen and not appropriately label it. Also, please note that the menu lists it as an all vegan sandwich, while the website for the product lists that it may contain milk, eggs, honey, or beeswax. This is NOT VEGAN! I am appalled at their apparent disregard for transparency in what they are serving with both a known allergen and non-vegan product without labeling. https://www.foodsafetynews.com/2017/09/quorn-agrees-to-change-labels-to-reveal-main-ingredient-is-mold/ https://www.annallergy.org/article/S1081-1206(18)30218-7/fulltext https://www.cspinet.org/news/quorns-mycoprotein-linked-severe-allergic-reactions-gastrointestinal-symptoms-new-report https://www.anaphylaxis.org.uk/fact-sheet/quorn/ https://www.usfoods.com/great-food/featured-products/meat-substitutes/vegetarian-breaded-chikn-patty.html

Yelp
Went to this place January 18 at night it was my birthday because I celebrated earlier that day at a different restaurant but decided to come by here on my way home and had something to snack on. This is about the third time I have been here and it seems like every time I come the food tastes Old fries are not hot. The Vegan sandwich I got was cold the first time I came here everything was great but the last two times you guys need to step up your game because the food is going down you serving customers, cold food, old fries and I think your prices are very high when it comes to a sandwich, fries, and a drink separately I don't think I would be giving them another chance but if you guys wanna stop by there that's up to you I prefer not to return because the food has not been great from the last two times. I have been there. This is the one off of seventh Street have not tried the other locations, but this one will not be getting my Service anymore thanks and y'all have a blessed day.
google avatar

tonya p.

Yelp
Too pricey for small, cold food. Where's the actual soft drinks? If you want to serve craft drinks, serve them on the side as an option, not the ONLY option. We were told that the chicken would only be made fresh every hour when we complained ours was cold and old.
google avatar

Alexis G.

Yelp
Well this place ok. Its great for a quick stop, out of your usual fast food places. The chicken is nothing special, and the sandwich didn't feel like I was eating crispy chicken. The guac spread they put on the Club 512 is actually pretty good. The tots are underdone, but they're fine. What's really special here the sauces. The ranch has sweetness to it, that pairs pretty well with the sandwiches. It's not your regular ranch but pretty good. The Sriracha mayo is also good, but pretty sweet. Prob won't come again.
google avatar

Antonio S.

Yelp
Was in the area and decided to stop in as I have never been here before. Staff was friendly and told me about the menu. I had the buffalo sandwich which had the right amount of heat and was juicy. The pickles and carrots gave it a nice crunch and the beer was a nice complement. Not sure why this place has bad reviews. Either I caught them at the right time or my expectations are different from those others. Nonetheless, I will come here again. If you are in the area check them out!
google avatar

Ash I.

Yelp
Went by for a sandwich, and a kids meal....Got a sandwich, and PREMADE garbage nuggets, in a kids meal, for $7. Come on? Did you think people would not notice?
google avatar

Will B.

Yelp
Honestly sad about this place. It used to be a solid quick option for a sandwich, now they can't make up their minds whether they are fast food or not. This has led to the quality of the food plummeting and prices soaring through the roof. If you'd like to pay $15 for a soggy sandwich and cold tots, look no further. Flyrite is pure disappointment.
google avatar

Billie B.

Yelp
Don't understand all the hate by Yelpers here! Flyrite makes the best chicken sandwich outside Nashville. The ingredients are fresh, the burger is exploding with flavor, and the portions are generous. Doesn't taste like fast food in the slightest -- in fact, I'm a health nut and Flyrite is the only "fast food" joint I will go to when I need a drive-thru to avoid leaving my dogs in the car. Speaking of which, Flyrite staff working the drive-thru window love dogs and will give your pup a treat. They're friendly, professional, and on point. My only wish is that Flyrite had french fries on their menu as another option to their yummy tater tots. Austinites are so spoiled by the plethora of chicken places in town. It wouldn't hurt to keep expectations in check and realize that Flyrite is a dream for most people outside Austin.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
The food is good with a good variety of healthy choices. The three stars is because they are constantly understaffed, making wait times 10 minutes in a drive through, and 90% of the time the order comes out incorrectly or undercooked. It's a shame because when they opened this was not the case, it's a real drag now.
google avatar

Corey A.

Yelp
I used to get this for work all the time and was surprised about how flavorful it is. Their chicken sandwiches are great but they aren't super amazing either. I think that this is a good place to try if you're ever in the area.

Richard K.

Yelp
This place is not good. The food is way over priced, staff is absolutely horrible, and the wait is way too long.
google avatar

Bill K.

Yelp
I ordered take out of two chicken sandwiches via Uber Eats. Flyrite messed up the order and sent out only one chicken sandwich with some tots. Lovely..... the wife and I had to split one small sandwich for lunch. We were hoping we could order take out for lunch and skip having to make dinner. No such luck, thanks Flyrite. The sandwich was mediocre. Tots who serves tots? I believe you either hate or love tots. I am on the hate them side. They have lost a customer for ever. As the first impression of their food and service is a totally negative one.
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
Pretty good food, not outstanding by any means but it's a decent meal. They had it out to us fairly quick and the staff was nice. It's convenient that it's right next to car mechanic shop, so you have a place to eat while waiting on your car, which was what we did.
google avatar

Michaela M.

Yelp
Ordered through lunch drop at work. Overpriced and weird tasting chicken. Almost thought it was fake tasting after several bites. I dont know if I would try it again honestly.
google avatar

Anne M.

Yelp
Do you like way overpriced bitter soggy fried chicken on a poorly assembled bun?! Then this place is for you! Every table in here is sticky, they don't have mayonnaise (wtf?!?!) & the door was locked so I got to enjoy dodging cars to find the side entrance. The service isn't good - soda machine was out of coke, I told the cashier who didn't do anything about it even though there were three whole customers in there and no one in line. He also let my food sit on the counter for several minutes before calling my name for no apparent reason. I Can tell they make their sauces, like the ranch & honey Dijon and those were good - the only highlight.
google avatar

Bridget L.

Yelp
One of the worst chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Like, cafeteria food-level bad. The chicken on the Standard Spicy was super dry and bland. The breading had no flavor or crispiness. The bread was soggy and didn't hold up well. $5 is a decent price point, but it's still not worth what you're getting. I was excited to check-in on Yelp for a free cookie. More like a free rock--that cookie was dry enough for me to chip a tooth on it. I seriously wonder how old it was. I'm only giving two stars because the servers were friendly and the sauces (avocado salsa & Hoss sauce) were quite tasty. This place may be local, but that doesn't mean it's good; I'd choose Chick-fil-A over Flyrite any day.
google avatar

Kasy S.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in this past weekend for a quick lunch. We got two orders of fries, two spicy chicken tenders and a Cowboy. I was really impressed. The drive through was quick on my visit. The fries were fresh, hot and perfectly salted. We both really enjoyed our fries. I really loved the Cowboy. The seasoning on the chicken was legit spicy and the jalapenos were the perfect accompaniment. I got to try a bite of the chicken tenders as well and was impressed again by the spice and tenderness of these strips. My wife was a huge fan of the Dijon mustard sauce as well. A couple of fries, a couple of mains and a bottle of water set us back about $18, so it's a bit more expensive than your normal drive-through option but I felt that the quality of the food justified the cost. We will be back next time we need a quick bite in the area.
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
I've been here twice now. I feel like my first experience was positively biased because I was so hungry, it was the grand opening, and I randomly ran into a handful of friends. The first time, I had a cowboy combo with fries and 2 beers. I didn't think about the price much at that time, and while it was on the small side, I enjoyed the sandwich well enough. I dont really remember the fries. On the second visit, I decided to try the standard chicken sandwich combo with tots, and a $0.50 upgrade from a soda to a Lone Star. This time, I was thoroughly disappointed. The nothing was fresh, or hot, and the portions were tiny for the price ($10.09 - see photos). From my experience, consistency is lacking when it comes to freshness, and I don't find value in the portion or quality for the price tag. I suppose the one thing this place has going for it, is that it is open on Sundays. All this said, my verdict is out. I won't be back. This place is for a person with a small appetite and a silver spoon.
google avatar

Shveta M.

Yelp
They serve up a Better Bird here all day everyday. And they're open on Sundays when it's inevitable you'll crave chicken tenders. It's hard for me to pick a favorite thing off their menu really. Everything is so good. From the biggest chicken tenders you've ever seen, to chicken wraps that taste like Vietnamese spring rolls to tater tots, to boozy milk shakes. There is something for everyone. Flyrite sources their ingredients from local farms and producers and you'll taste the difference in each bite. While someone may call this fast food, it's gourmet and not in the same category (imo). They make their sauces which go great on any sandwich, as a dipping sauce for your tenders and even for your fries/tots). They have Maine Root sodas in the soda machine and they make their own lemonade and tea - mix them up for the tastiest Arnold Palmer. They have Cuvée Coffee's Black and Blue on tap as well as local breweries brews. Mix one of them up with their shakes and you've got a boozy shake. They make their syrups for the shakes in house too and a little birdie told me they DO NOT use high fructose corn syrup! Staff always serve with a smile and the owners are super sweet. Oh and they have breakfast tacos! Get you some!

Yelp
I give this place a slight advantage over Chick-fil-a because of the toppings and options they have over their chicken sandwiches. I tried the Cowboy sandwich which had pickles, bacon, cheese, jalapeños and some special sauce with a side of tater tots. The sandwich had a nice kick to it with the jalapeños and was pretty tasty. The buns was very soft and had an airy doughy texture in contrast to the fried chicken. My boyfriend and I agreed that the chicken could have a bit more of a crunch to it as it was slightly on the soggy side from the toppings/sauces by the time it arrived to our table. There wasn't anything special about the tater tots; it looked like something that can be found at Sonic or in the frozen aisle of your local grocery store. I wish they had an option of sweet potato fries, a slightly more healthier alternative would be nice.

Yelp
I don't know why I have given this restaurant so many chances. From receiving undercooked chicken once, to half my order being missing on another occasion, and today being stuck waiting in the drive thru for nearly 40 minutes to receive cold food. Never again. Great concept horrible execution.

Yelp
Ok. I tried this restaurant twice in a week because I really want to love it and to be wowed. After both visits my exact thoughts were that they are trying too hard to complete something that should be simple. Example 1: The chicken sandwich I had came with an guacamole spread and it turned out to be a mess. It was also a bit too much with all the other flavors going on. Example 2: Tried the simple chicken sandwich. It was great with just a chicken breast and some pickles on bun. I also ordered some chicken tenders. I don't know what's going on with the breading or the oil they are cooked in but it was like the tenders were wearing thin socks. And the sauces were not good. This place should be awesome, but again I think they could tweak some things. Maybe it's me. I should try everything and only order what pleases me. I'll try them again some day.

Yelp
I've been a fan of Flyrite since it opened on 7th Street. It is one of the lone standing chicken restaurants in East Austin and always does East Austin proud. The staff is young and hip and very accomodating. The food is delicious! I order mine either in the store to eat there or at the drive thru. I miss the 70's soul music that played there, but other than that, the chicken sandwiches are still great!

Yelp
These guys cut corners! Ordered two chicken sandwiches with what appeared to be one regular sized chicken breast patty cut into two pieces, basically half the meat from past experiences. I texted in to leave a customer review which is asked for on a skitter that holds your receipt to the bag. I was told my money would be refunded, still waiting on that...I'll never spend another cent here,,chick-fil-a all the way

Yelp
This place has seriously good chicken sandwiches!! I always get the fried sandwich, it's hand breaded in store, fresh, and so juicy! I highly recommend the avocado salsa to put on the sandwich, it takes this already great sandwich to a whole other level! The fries are also great! You've got to get the hoss sauce for dipping. The few times I had tots they were greasy and old tasting. But the fries are always bomb I tell ya! They've got main root fountain drinks with my fav being the blueberry soda. For fast food the price for a combo is on the pricier side (10), especially with their craft sandwiches (13) but it's worth it. It really is fast food executed so well! Enjoy!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with my recent visit to Flyrite. Their menu was aesthetically laid out and easy to quickly parse. I arrived a few minutes before they opened, but the staff were very friendly and allowed me to order before they technically were open, which I appreciated as it saved me a few extra minutes of waiting. The Eastside (menu item) was a solid chicken sandwich and fairly priced, and I especially appreciated the selection of sauces. The Thai Chili sauce was pretty good, and I look forward to trying the gamut of the sauces they have available in the future. Looking forward to my next visit.
