"Fancy eastside dessert purveyors Fogrose recently held the grand opening to the Fogrose Atelier, a full-service, French-leaning restaurant at Soma Towers, serving up nitro ice cream, banana flambe, and cocktails. There’s a dinner menu with charcoal capellini and salmon persillade . But the showcase is still on the sweets side, where one can find decadent-sounding items such as a Russian Ballerina (pavlova with fruit, chantilly cream, kiwi sauce, and olive oil ice cream)." - Megan Hill

A beautiful space with quality teas and delicious food pairings, and staff who are very friendly and attentive. We managed to try most of the teas on the menu and were pleasantly surprised by the unique qualities of each one. Whether you're looking for something bold and robust, or delicate and fruit forward, I think you're bound to find something that you'll enjoy on their menu. As for food, we found both the sweet and savory bites to be fun, flavorful and well executed. Overall, a delightful experience!

This was my first experience with afternoon tea and it was amazing. The tea was so good and came out at a perfect temperature that was hot but still good to drink. The food was great and made dietary substitution for me. Only 1 out of the 3 desserts were for my taste and sometimes we had to wait on our waitress for tea and the check. But still overall a great time and I hope to return!

Omgg I came here to celebrate my best friend's 30th birthday and it was perfect! The ambiance of the tea room is beautiful and posh. The staff were so friendly and helpful in presenting the birthday cake and giving us recommendations on the teas. They truly made our experience memorable! The teas were delicious and the pastries and sandwiches were amazing and filling! If you're looking to celebrate an occasion, I would highly recommend coming here!

Delightful afternoon tea service. Tea selection was plentiful, desserts were tasty. The savory dishes left something to be desired. The service is phenomenal. Would return!

A Dreamy Escape Right in Downtown Kirkland! I had the most incredible experience at FogRose Atelier, and I can’t recommend it enough! Their High Noon Tea is an absolute gem—elevated, elegant, and thoughtfully curated down to the tiniest detail. The artistry in both presentation and flavor is next level—each bite and sip is a perfect balance of beauty and taste. From the delicate tea selections to the unforgettable savory and sweet pairings, it felt like a true escape into a world of refinement and indulgence. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to something truly exceptional, this is the spot. If you haven’t tried it yet, run, don’t walk—FogRose Atelier is a must-visit for anyone who loves beautifully crafted food and a touch of luxury. Downtown Kirkland is very lucky they decided to land there.

I really did not want to leave a review like this but I want to let future large parties know that this happened. I was in email and Instagram DM contact with FR team about hosting a large group for my birthday about a month before it (Jan 2025). After that, I made my reservation (in Jan) and had been in contact the week of my birthday (Feb 2025) due to some adjustments in attendance. During all the touch points, their team did not once mention that the price increased from $60pp to $75pp sometime between then (over 4 weeks of time). If something like this happened at a hair or nail salon, they would honor the pricing at the time of reservation OR at least provide a courtesy heads up and let you decide if you still wanted your reservation. You also don’t see any of the pricing on any of their menus so there’s literally no opportunity for me to find out unless I specifically went to the website that day. For a group of 9 people, this resulted in a $200 increase from what we planned. On top of that, there was a weird situation going on with the 2 servers working that day. Our server was great but she suddenly stopped coming by at all after she dropped the food off. We consistently made eye contact with her and she’d nod but she’d never came by again, leaving a gap of over 30m without tea refills. And later the other server finally came by. If I had known about the price increase, I would’ve changed my venue to the Fairmont Hotel which also serves afternoon tea for $79pp I believe. The value from a larger space, full cocktail bar, and option to add champagne to your tea service exceeds speaks for itself.

Google
Underwhelming value for the ridiculous cost! I must say the pastry chef must be quite talented. Unfortunately once you realize you are being ripped off by the owners for this (set price) bite-sized sampler tree tier it’s hard to justify enjoying it. ( ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU FIND WHAT APPEARED TO BE FACIAL HAIR ON THE BUTTER ) Service was unremarkable. The tea selection tasted like basic tea from home served in nice china. It is noteworthy to mention they did not change the strainer everytime we changed our tea so the tea flavor did taste mixed. It wasnt terrible but it wasn’t special.last but not least We paid with one card and when we saw the receipt in our group chat with a mandatory service charge of 20% of the bill plus a tip?! I asked what it was My friend said the last time they came for a birthday they asked why it had a service charge and a tip… she was told employees don’t receive any compensation gained from the service charge. So are we paying this places bills?worth it. There are far better places to have high tea with

For $85pp + 20% gratuity, I expected better tea, food and atmosphere. This is the first time I was attending an afternoon tea at FogRose and you don't get a personal pot of tea. They steep tea in pots at the bar then pour you a cup. You get served a warm cup of tea that's been sitting out. The tea itself is fine but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a cute place setting but the utensils are more for fashion than function. The food was just OK but would rather have smaller portioned but better executed dishes. They should also install curtains otherwise you're just looking at the street and parking across the way. It's cute but I had higher expectations.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday with 6 of our girlfriends for our friend's surprise baby sprinkle and it was perfect. It was a cute setting in the downtown Kirkland area, with lots to do nearby. We enjoyed the 3 tier more than we have expected. The $60 pp also comes with unlimited tea service, the tea green tea was my favorite. The service was decent, can be tricky for one server to pour tea for the whole restaurant as there were moments where we really wanted more but everyone was busy. I would come again here for special occasions! What a treat!

Chris S.

Yelp
Came for afternoon tea. Cost is $60 per person with a 20% surcharge. I tried each tea off the menu. Each was delicious but my favorites were the earl grey and rose congou. Food selection included eggs Florentine, smoked salmon on ciabatta bread, roasted beets with couscous and a blueberry scone. Dessert included an ube cream puff, coconut pineapple mousse and I had my macaron swapped for a sorbet. Savory dishes were decent but the sweets and desserts were very tasty. Service was exceptional. Staff was friendly and very attentive. The experience was very pleasant and the restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were outside of the restaurant down the hall with a combination needed.

Yelp
I recently enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at FogRose Atelier with a friend in October, and it was a lovely experience overall! Our server was fantastic, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The unlimited tea selection featured a curated variety of quality black and green teas, and we got to try several different options, which was a treat! The tiered service included both savory and sweet items, both of which were fantastic. My favorite savory item was the smoked salmon sandwich--it was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. As for the sweets, the caramel apple mousse cake was the standout--so rich and delightful! The location has a charming, pop-up feel, which adds to the overall experience. Everything was delicious, and I'd rate my visit a solid 4 stars. If you're looking for a nice spot for afternoon tea, FogRose Atelier is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Such a cute spot for tea with friends or family! I hosted my bridal shower here for 12 people and I'm so happy with how it all went. The location is in Kirkland and it's a smaller space, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Inside, it's airy, modern, elegant, and feminine, so I didn't need to bring any decorations. The spread of sweet and savory treats we had was Friendsgiving-inspired since it was back in November and everything was actually so yummy! The only thing that could have been improved was the service. It seemed like they were short-staffed with only two people working. We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and it took a while to get yea refills during our service. We kept ourselves busy with games and conversation so it wasn't a big deal, but just a heads up as other reviews mention this too. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Lea S.

Yelp
I took my mom here for her birthday and we both had a lovely time! The savory options were probably some of the better I've had (compared to a few other high teas I've been to in Vancouver) - they were more than simply cold little tea sandwiches. Desserts had an interesting twist as well - lychee rose macarons, blueberry lavender cream puffs, and mango mousse dome cakes. Tea service is unlimited, with a few options each of black, green, and herbal teas to choose from. I wish the flavors were as creative as the desserts, but were just standard to me. The staff were kind and prompt, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The 90 minute slot was just the right amount of time for us to enjoy the experience, and we were quite full afterwards. My main criticism is that I don't think they emphasize enough that Fogrose is a pop up, and that the location changes and is hosted by another business! If I hadn't looked at other reviews, I would have simply used the address on Google Maps and not realized it was different from the one on the reservation email. And even getting the right address, I still would have been confused that it took me to a different business (The Rouge Lounge this time) which looks completely different from earlier Yelp pictures in a bright white setting. Only until I got up to the door was there a small sign marking Fogrose. All in all, just make sure to follow the email, and go early to make sure you can find the right place!

Yelp
I love the idea of FogRose Atelier, in the sense that their Afternoon Tea was traditional with a twist of flavors. I'm sure not all visits are the same, as they are seasonal and have an array of flavors. Cool that they have different types of teas, and you could try all of them, just ask as they refill your cup with a communal teapot dependent on the flavor of your choice. Not a large space at all, we made reservations and ended up at the bar which is actually quite cool to witness the workers setting up teas, and plating. Good service overall. My main reason for a knock of a star is despite the unique pastries and savories, I didn't find it to be exceptional and the price point is a bit steep for what you get. Been to more affordable and delicious spots for sure.

Yelp
I just have to RAVE about the custom birthday cake from Fog Rose! It was a beautifully decorated cake with the wild animal theme for my son's 3rd birthday. It's literally the most delicious, SO moist, decadent , rich chocolate cake. I repeat, surprisingly moist! It had a raspberry jam that was perfectly tart and sweet. I love that they don't skimp on the amount they put between the 3 layers. The frosting was not too sweet so it didn't overwhelm the rich chocolate. So perfect and special for my little boy. Ive also been there for nitrogen ice cream, dinner and a girls high tea brunch during their Alice in Wonderland themed high tea time. So beautiful and classy. The sandwich, desserts and soup were delicious. Teas (lychee and mint were my faves). I cannot say enough on how great my experiences have been here.

Yelp
This place was lovely, and I overall thought the food selection was tasty. I also liked the ability to try out multiple flavors of tea. The downsides are that 20% gratuity is already added into the bill, no matter how many people are in your party. Additionally, there was just one guy working, and he was unable to keep up with the needs of the tables. I don't blame him, though; they seemed understaffed. There was a woman who was around, but she didn't jump in to help. I don't know her role, but it was poor optics that there was a 2nd employee in the front who was not supporting business operations. Because of the lag in service, I was unable to try all the teas I wanted, but of the ones I had, they were not that flavorful. Overall, I felt that I did not receive the value of $75/person ($60+20% gratuity+tip). It was fun to try out, but I do not plan on returning.

Yelp
What an adorable little tea shop. Perfect for a girls date day or afternoon tea with your kiddos. Tea was tasty! I really enjoyed that we could try all the tea! Not stuck to one point the whole time. The sweets, tea sandwiches and treat tower was the best thing about the experience. Everything tasted freshly made, unique and delicious. Can't wait to go back! Cheers

Yelp
If you're feeling fancy, FogRose Atelier is a great spot to get your afternoon tea on and throw your pinkies up. Located in Bellevue, FA can be a bit hidden. It's located right across from the AC hotel lobby and you can get two hours of free parking at Soma Towers. Reservations are recommended for their afternoon tea service ($60/pp). The atmosphere is cute and classy once you enter. You can try as many teas as you want in the 90 min seating time. I especially loved the Lychee tea. As for the savory and sweet treats, the chicken sandwich stood out and the macaron was delectable. The service was good and they were also very accommodating. FYI, they also automatically add a 20% service charge to your bill. Though it can be a bit pricey, it's a nice spot to treat yourself!

Yelp
I had a lovely afternoon tea here for my birthday. FogRose is currently mid-move and doing pop ups at various locations. This week, they were at NYB Art Gallery in Kirkland. It was a fun vibe with bright paintings on the walls and the more traditional tea service set up. My friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Onto the tea and food - the unique thing about the FogRose tea service is that you order by cup, meaning you can try as many teas as you want rather than committing to a pot of one type of tea. I enjoyed the Cameronian and the Lychee Green. We were also offered a non-alcoholic glass of champagne to start - very cute! Overall, the food was good and filling. I enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwich the most and the desserts were all very tasty and unique! My party had one vegan and one gluten free diet restriction that FogRose kindly accommodated. Everyone said they had enough food and enjoyed what was offered, but for the price I definitely think my vegan friend should have gotten more food and more of a variety. I'd recommend FogRose Atelier to any tea-lover!

Yelp
We came on a Sunday around noon for afternoon tea. I've been wanting to try FogRose for a while and brought a visiting friend and my baby to share the experience. The ambiance was quaint and intimate, but more spacious and less tightly seated than other tea shops. I loved how everything felt modern, classy and spacious. The food and drink was great! Our server came by and checked for allergies and brought a fancy platter with bites. Also, the tea menu is not only unlimited, but they continually brew the tea and pour it fresh per request so there's no wait time for the tea to be ready and it's seeped perfectly. The sandwiches themselves were tastefully crafted and we loved the chicken salad sandwich. The desserts also were so good. I personally loved the mango matcha parfait. The service was great. Our server was so friendly and attentive. There was a period where she breaked and we were a little less tended too, but overall good service. They even provided water and seating for my baby which was a plus and did not glare when he made a mess (I cleaned up after us, but they were so kind) Parking is a bit tricky to find, but is free and located in the soma towers. Pricing is a little on the pricier end, but worth the experience. Overall, great place for high tea with a classy atmosphere and good service. We will be back!

Jenny Y.

Yelp
Fancy dessert & high tea place. We ended up coming here because we couldn't find the FogRose ice cream store. The service wasn't the best because we asked if there was another but didn't get directions to the ice cream store. We opted to stay here because of the comfortable seating and elevated view of the street. The ice cream here is not too sweet and had a flour like consistency from the nitrogen. We tried the cookies & cream and matcha. Both were nicely displayed with flowers.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
To start with if you've never been to a tea room and don't mind spending a bit of money to feel like a princess this place isn't too bad. But for the price point (which was quite high) I'm definitely disappointed with the quality. The tea was watery and got cold pretty fast. The pastries tasted like something from a mid level chain that I could buy for $2 each. But. Again, if you've never had one of these experiences that makes more of a reason to try this place out.

Ares O.

Yelp
They moved to a new location, I don't know about the previous one, but this one is exactly the same place as Rouge Lounge, a bar we just went a few days ago. Cannot say the atmosphere matches my expectation for a high-end afternoon tea place. Food is okay, tasting good, not too salty. The desserts are well crafted and delicious. Tea are mediocre, especially the green tea, not really my taste. Can easily find much better green tea on Amazon. Service is fine, refill is a bit slow and sometimes I had to wave or make eye contact for them to come and refill. Price is absolutely high, with 20% service charge. Probably won't do it again.

Emily J.

Yelp
A very small place decorated for a tea party. I booked reservations for a girls brunch and we could only book the bar. I would highly recommend waiting for table reservation to be available because the bar was hard to hear and socialize with everyone in a party of 6. When you open the door you are hit with the smell of fresh pastries like opening up the door to a bakery. Once seated, service is pretty quick and even though there is a time limit, they don't rush you to order. They do let you know when you need to leave though. The bites were aesthetically pleasing and if you are a dessert lover I think you would like as there was much more sweet than savory. There was a tea menu and tea drink menu, both with a good list of options. The tea drinks that were being made in front of us and coming out were very pretty and tempting to order but we stuck with just tea. You can switch tea as many times as you want or stick with one the whole time. This place is definitely pricey being one of the cons but a fun experience.

Quyen B.

Yelp
Love the idea of this place and the presentation of the food, but the food wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I really wanted to like it. This is more for the experience if you and your friends are feeling fancy. Approx $100/pp including tips. Luckily, there are other establishments nearby so we went for other food afterwards.

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Enjoyed this when it was in Downtown Bellevue but they have no liquor license at the new location and their vegetarian options were awful this time. It felt like a waste of money. In Europe a cucumber, dill and cream cheese tea sandwich is a given, I wish they could have at least made this. Secondly, what's a good tea service without authentic clotted cream?

Michele K.

Yelp
The new location is not afternoon tea vibes. It's DARK. The walls are BLACK it's wild. Don't let the cute pictures I'm posting deceive you. Thank god they put us at a table near the window. In person the place is much darker. The food was just okay but looked pretty. The savory selections were pretty good though. Some of the sweets flavors were weird and the macaron was super dry and crumbly.

Julia Z.

Yelp
Came here for a meetup, and looooooved it! First, it's located in kind of a weird spot. It's across the road from the AC hotel lobby, or, if you're coming from the mall/park side, it's on the opposite side of the building from the XCJ shopping area. It's past a French restaurant, around the corner and up a half set of stairs (NOT the large set of stairs that goes to the second floor!). We had reservations for tea time. The place is super cute and all their utensils are also super cute! I decided to try every tea they had (4 black, 3 green, 3 herbal), really tested their service. They were quick to refill my tea. The food was also very cute AND tasty! Maybe the white bread was sat out a bit,but overall still left extremely satisfied.

Nikita S.

Yelp
*This review is solely based on the ice-cream and cake* Ambience - Fancy, Classy and Modern place Dessert (5/5) - Ordered the chef cake of the day - Vietnamese Chocolate Cake. The quantity is quite good for 2-3 people. We loved the ice cream texture and flavor. It was so creamy and smooth and was perfectly complementing the cake. Highly recommend the ice cream. It was def one of the best ice cream I have tried here. The amount of sweetness was just perfect in the cake and whipped cream. Overall the dish was a bit less sweet, just the way I would prefer Service (5/5) - Staff was very friendly and professional. Will def go again to try more ice cream

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Loved the service and food here! There is an expansive list of tea choices you can pick and alternate from. I think the pricing is very reasonable for the quality, presentation and service of the food and staff. I will definitely be coming back!!! I did have to tick one star because of two reasons: 1, its extremely difficult to find. The correct address (do not go to the default google maps location unless it got updated because it will route you to their old location which is also hard to find) we went to did not have the proper signage. They still have the old business signage. Me and my friend ended up showing up extremely late to our reservation because the store was simply so difficult to find. Thankfully it wasn't a busy day and we were able to stay longer than expected. 2nd reason is that the interior is very much a bar like and not the most afternoon tea esque interior. Im not sure if this will be changing sometime soon but i felt like it didn't suit the afternoon tea presentation/vibe that was shown on the website.

Carol L.

Yelp
I have been looking forward to FogRose Atelier for the longest time, but was extremely disappointed by the afternoon tea service. Advertised as $45 on the website, the afternoon tea has had its prices raised to $60 starting 2023. This is without any sparkling wine, just the standard service. The tea list is not very large. You don't even get your own teapot for your tea. You have to chase down waitstaff every time you want your cup refilled. We weren't even offered creamer or milk for our teas. We did get sugar cubes and honey. For $60 I would hope to at least get some creamer for my tea. The food was disastrous. The macarons have clearly failed to rise and didn't have proper feet, yet was served anyways. The lemon curd used in the dessert is the same thing as for the scones, which just feels extremely lazy for a high tea service. The scones were HARD and the outside felt rubbery and chewy. It was very dense. The cake was the only dessert I generally enjoyed eating. The sandwiches were cheaply made, both in flavor and organization. The sandwich edges are clearly not cut well, with some of the crust still present on it. The smoked salmon didn't even have a piece of salmon in it; it was a cream cheese mixture with the tiniest bits of smoked salmon inside. They all tasted just OK. There were also no other savory options; many afternoon teas I have had had puff pastry savories or something other than just sandwiches... There is a mandatory 20% service charge that automatically gets added to your bill. To have afternoon tea, you must book a reservation online and put down a deposit of $25/person. There is free garage parking available for 2 hours. I would never return here or encourage anyone to come. The waitstaff were very kind but the food was disastrous, especially at the increasing price point.

Ellen C.

Yelp
The food is very good here though it is pricey. For a party of two afternoon tea is around $60 per person. You'll need a reservation for afternoon tea and can easily book on Opentable. The place is very small but parking is easy (free up to 2 hours) and they provide very good directions where to park on their website. Seating is limited to 90 min and they will politely let you know your time is up. For teas, they are unlimited refills and you get to choose different teas once you finish your cup. Overall I would recommend this place. Couple of parties were dressed up which is fun to do. Wish it were much bigger though as I am accustomed to afternoon tea at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena which provides a lot of space with a view of their rose garden.

Ash G.

Yelp
I loved EVERYTHING about Fog Rose! They have this this cute corner table and the service was very efficient. Let's talk tea I can't recall the names of the teas exactly (sigh should of taken the tea menu) but all the teas we tried were so good. I had an Earl Grey and a fruity tea SO YUM The food was so yum and plenty per person, I had an egg salad sandwich a salmon sandwich and a chicken. Because my husband is averse to mayo they switched his up. Yum very filling they did not skimp on anything!! There were scones and plenty of sweet nibbles as well, everything was insanely perfect. Absolutely planning on going again with friends and family when they visit, I know the price for afternoon tea went up but between not having many options and the sheer quality I'd pay it over and over again. Great experience thank you!

Cassandra A.

Yelp
Nice place, the parking they suggest is no longer free for 2 hours. It was kinda pricey for what you get I think, and they do automatically do a 20% gratuity (there was just two of us). I've been to two afternoon teas (one in London) and certain foods provided were unlimited. This place just has unlimited tea. The service was fast, the food was mid, the earl gray black tea was my favorite, I didn't really try much of the green tea. I probably won't go back, but I think this would be a nice idea for a fun date or get together.

Fionna L.

Yelp
*Reservations are required for afternoon tea (but not the bar) and they had no problem rescheduling us to later in the afternoon when we called in the morning of the day of. A delightful experience from start to finish! It is a small space that smelled divine the moment we entered with a pleasant second-story view of trees and street. We were one of just two parties present at 3pm on a Sunday so we spoke softly. Service was attentive in refilling our cups of tea. I loved the attention to detail and aesthetics in the layout, cutlery, and food presentation. Overall, I liked but did not love the food. It was executed beautifully but both of the teas we ordered (Moroccan Mint and Cameronian) were bland (we couldn't control the steeping time) and the mint tea was lukewarm. We found the tuna cucumber sandwich too strong and the egg salad not strong enough so the chicken grape sandwich was our favorite. The orange scone with whipped butter was amazing: flaky, rich, and the lemon curd was divine! The lavender and rose macarons had a nice floral flavor but were slightly drier than expected, not melt-in-the-mouth. The light parfait provided a good counterpoint to the Vietnamese coffee cake, which was rich and sweet to the point of indulgence. It was a joy to savor each of these little bites and we were surprised by how full we were at the end! Fogrose's take on afternoon tea is an elegant and intimate experience for you and your lovelies.

Khanh H.

Yelp
I love this place for a fun girls day to celebrate! The interior is so cute and the food, drinks and service is devine. My tea was never empty and all the small bites were so good! We even had some extra for leftovers. My favorite was salmon sandwich. The restaurant is definitely small though so make a reservation!

Julie D.

Yelp
What a cute, fancy place for tea with your girls! My friends and I booked a morning tea time slot and were seated immediately upon arrival. It was a little difficult to find the proper entrance and we did stumble into the wrong restaurant by accident, but we managed to find our way! The interior is well decorated and the whole place feels cute and classy. Our server was nice and we were given our glass of bubbles right away (which we had paid extra for online). I forgot which tea I ordered, but I remember that it was subtly sweet and refreshing. The treats were also quite delectable! My personal favorites were the cucumber sandwich and the macaron. Some of the sweets were a bit too sweet for me, and I was hoping for a better ratio of savory to sweet foods, but they are a dessert forward establishment so this was to be expected. It was a little pricey, but if you're looking for something new to do with your friends and don't mind a treat-yourself kind of day, this is the place for you! I will say I don't think it's a place you could frequent very often, but I'd still recommend it to others, even if I didn't find it a very repeatable experience.

Kristine N.

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend for a birthday celebration. It was the first time either of us experienced afternoon tea, so we didn't know what to expect. I had made a reservation for 90 minutes for a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy when we arrived. The interior of FogRose is gorgeous and definitely a great setting to snap some photos. With the afternoon tea set, we got three different sandwiches (salmon, egg, and chicken), a scone, a macaron, chocolate truffle, and a lemon & blueberry cream shooter (these are certainly not the correct names of the items, but trying my best to recall them!). My favorite sandwich was the salmon as I thought the cream cheese paired well with the fish. My least favorite item was the chicken sandwich. It had slices of green apple, a blueberry cream cheese spread paired with the chicken filling, and too many flavors were happening at once for me. Out of all the items, we definitely thought the desserts outshined the savory sandwiches. It would be tough to choose a favorite dessert, but if I had to, I would choose the chocolate truffle because it was very decadent and chocolatey, but not too sweet (all the desserts had a perfect amount of sweetness)! There were 10 different teas on the list that we could choose from and I really enjoyed the variety. Of the 10 teas, they were either a black tea, a green tea, or a caffeine-free tea. I loved how the teas were unlimited and by the cup, so you could really try any of the teas and have as much as you wanted! My favorite would be the Cameroonian black tea. Service was good, although because it was so busy I would say they were a little stretched. We had to wait a little longer to get refills on tea and I even was given the wrong tea at one point in our reservation. We were also seated at a pretty small table and felt a bit squished next to a big party of 10 people. At the end, the was an automatic 20% gratuity charge, which is slightly a bit higher than what I expected for the quality of service and whatnot. Total was about $60/person + tip. You're definitely paying more for the experience than the food, in my opinion, but it was fun. All in all, FogRose is a pretty nice place to have a little afternoon tea party. I'm interested to see what other items they have on their menu

Yelp
I've been multiple times to FogRose Atelier - the last time at their old location. I have to say, the old place suited the afternoon tea vibe a lot better since the decor fit the theme a bit more. The new location doesn't provide that same luxe afternoon tea experience. However, the tea and the food is still amazing! We loved every bite that we had and the tea selection is great. There's a little bit of everything for everyone on the list and I like that you're not tied to one single type of tea for the entire experience. The service is always so great, very attentive, and constantly check in on you in a way that doesn't piss you off. Will return for sure!

Yelp
Summer menu showcases cream coloured items that are pleasing to the eye. A good combination of sweet and savoury items complemented with good range of tea selection. The service was polished and the seating was cozy and not crowded.

Yelp
Great service!! I didn't know downstairs (next to poke place) ice cream store is closed and the sign says "our store is relocated to the counter," or something like that. The restaurant is locating in front of the AC hotel. I was super under dressed, but ended up getting whole dinner at restaurant. Cauliflower soup was yummy, and soup was pretty good amount , so I was already full but I'm glad main course salmon wasn't huge. I forgot server's name (maybe Tory?) , but I loved her service. She was very attentive and not judging us even I was wearing gym clothes and not drinking alcohol.

Yelp
Staff were so kind I can not stop singing praises. There was a lot of traffic so we were running late and as soon as I parked there another car collided into mine. We ended up having to call three times to explain our situation (running late, car collision, unable to find the place) and every time we were met with kindness and patience. The food was very unique and interesting. The most impressive part was that they actually managed to accommodate all of my sensitivities and for that alone they deserve some kind of award! I will say I prefer my tea to be a bit stronger, but otherwise an amazing experience. It's a super relaxing and well decorated space. Would love to go again the next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant for afternoon tea, dinner experience, and late night drink. We were lucky to get a table for 6 without a reservation at 9pm while there was only one big table as well. The experience starts from the vibe we got when we opened the door. This will probably be a great place for private party. Service was really good, but our requests took times and reminders. Maybe you'll be shocked when you see the dessert prices, but you'll understand when you see the presentation. They seem closed during the week days but the birthday cake orders are still available online.

Yelp
My friends came to visit and I was looking for a cute place for us to catch up and hang out. We booked online for afternoon tea and got seated upon arrival. The entrance is a bit difficult to find especially after parking in the recommended (not free) lot. We had unlimited tea and yummy treats with quick service. Unfortunately it was incredibly pricey for a 2 hour experience so I don't think I'll be returning any time soon. They added a 20% gratuity charge so it ended up being close to $85/pp for my party of 3.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot and so nice that they do a high tea over the weekends. You have to make a reservation before hand, they do ask for a $50 nonrefundable deposit. The little sandwiches were amazing, I wish there were more! The salmon sandwich was my favorite, so creamy and delicious! Also the scones are baked to perfection! And that coffee cake was absolutely divine. I was actually surprised that this was a super filling meal! Also, fantastic customer service here! Our server was so nice, friendly, and high energy!

Yelp
I was excited to try here after watching some reels on IG. The reels I watched advertised desserts and cocktails. When sat down, they offered us alcohol free champagne, we asked for alcoholic and they said due to licensing, they can't serve alcohol until 5pm. They don't leave a pot of tea at your table, the whole restaurant relied on one guy going around filling your tea. The 90 mins I was there, I only had 3 refills. I kept looking around to trying request more tea, sugar, cream. The food and pastries were nothing to rave about....then we got our bill for $270! I had three cups of tea and few bites of uninspiring Costco food samples. The girl that invited us kept apologizing for recommending this place. I could tell she felt embarrassed by the quality and the price. Don't come here.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a friend's birthday. Our reservation was for 1:30 but we were not seated until 1:55. Two of our party of 8 were late and they do not seat until the full party is present. However, even when the last of our party showed up (at 1:40) they had to prepare the table. I'm not sure why they did not prepare the table beforehand, or why it took an additional 15 minutes to do so, as we had a reservation and 6/8 of our party was there. As for the actual food, I'll go by level from bottom up. First off, the sandwiches were pretty good! There was a salmon sandwich that tasted very cream cheeseyand had a slice of cucumber on top. a chicken grape sandwich, and an egg sandwich. In order of my most to least preferred: egg, chicken, salmon. I don't love cream cheese in my sandwiches but enjoyed the chicken and egg ones. There was also a hot scone on the first level which was great with butter and lemon curd. The top level had a lychee rose macaron, a blueberry lavender macaron (I think) a chocolate opera cake and a parfait cup. My favorite of these was the parfait. I thought the macarons were very sweet and didn't have the texture I like in a macaron--light crunchy on the shell but soft when you bite into it. These macarons were more just crunchy throughout the shell. Chocolate cake was pretty moist but nothing too special, and the parfait cup was a good blend of sweet/sour. Tea was fine but they took a while to refill and we had to ask for it. My boyfriend's tea was not refilled when the server came around, probably because we were a larger group. Tip: they didn't offer us sugar or honey but you can ask for these things if you like your tea sweet. Overall, a decent place for afternoon tea. We paid $45+tip, which is quite steep but expected for afternoon tea. Cute dining area and dishware and cutlery. The main issue I had was the service, which wasn't great.

Yelp
I went here for a birthday brunch. This place was a little hard to find as sign for it was everywhere. Once we got there. The place is not big but the decor was amazing! I felt like I was in Europe. Our group all had brunch. The tea was unlimited. All the food was so good. Our server was very nice! She was on point to when we needed her. Just be prepare to pay over $100 including tip but it was a good group experience.

Yelp
This is the cutest place to have brunch time tea! I took my mom here for mothers day this year and it was really fun. She really enjoyed the experience. Fogrose is really cute and bright inside. It is a cute little place in Bellevue to get dressed up and have some tea with tea sandwiches and pastries with a cocktail. The cocktails on the menu are amazing. The flavor profiles of the seasonal drinks look really enticing. The wonderful waitress that helped serve us told us she makes the drinks and curates the concoctions. She said "they are made with love" and yeah, you can tell they are made with love because you can taste all the flavors in the cocktail. I ordered the pansy drink. It was really good. Made me feel like i was supposed to be on an island somewhere cuz it was fruity. As for the food... i thought the brunch menu that created for mothers day was good. It was satisfying. I didn't love that my poached egg on my crabs Benedict was a little over cooked (egg not oozy and soft) and I wasn't a fan of the salmon sandwich thing cuz it tasted like lox and I don't love lox, but others might! Also, it was pretty stinking expensive for this experience and you're limited to 90 min when they have special occasions like mothers day because they just get so booked that they gotta regulate the flow of influx of groups. I think it was like 70 bucks a head? But it was kinda nice to pay ahead and then just get there and enjoy our time eating and drinking tea. I definitely think this would be like a once a year/special occasion place for me and my family because of how expensive it is (i mean it's in ritsville Bellevue so) and there are plenty other good tea places in the Eastside area that have more bang for your buck food and tea :)

Yelp
I booked the Sparkling Afternoon Tea for me and my bf. I didn't want to wait for my girlfriends to be available so I decided to take him instead. The food was such a hit. Even my bf loved it and he is kinda picky. The sandwiches were somewhat sizable. The fillings were very generous and delicious. The desserts were also really good! It didn't feel like they just bought them from a subpar grocery store and made them look pretty. If I remember correctly, most, if not all, of the food were made in-house! The tea set was also beautiful. I wanna get one myself. And the tea was delish as well! The service was superb. They explained everything to us in detail and checked in on us every so often. The interior is also sooo beautiful! It's a place that I wouldn't mind bringing friends and even my bf to over and over again!

Yelp
the intimacy of this place is what sets apart several other Tea time places I've been to. You can really catch up with friends or family here without crowds. It's like a private experience - at least it felt this way on a Friday afternoon. Pre-booking is a major key. We arrived a little earlier than expected and got seated within 5 mins even if we were early. Staff was friendly and accommodating with the different teas we wanted to try. The biscuit scone was perfection - its taste and texture was like a mix of croissant, biscuit, and scone in one... amazing with the butter too. Egg sandwich and chicken sandwich were enjoyable. I didn't eat the salmon sandwich because I don't eat seafood but my family said it was good. The bottom tier had three delicious desserts paired nicely with the dark teas (in my opinion). And the tea selections were unlimited and you can choose different teas to drink - cameronian and gunpowder were our tops! Pricey but definitely worth it!

Yelp
Such a cute little tea room!! They do technically have bar seating which is first come first serve where you can then order a la carte but the place is small and the tea service have been booked up so if you do walk in it'll probably be at least a 90 min wait. We ended up doing bar seating for our tea service which still worked out fine but I wished that there was a way to see that on the reservation page (i.e. tables "waitlisted" or "sold out"). I was also surprised to see no sugar/milk settings (despite there being tongs) since all the other tea services I've been to had it for more English style tea. Instead of your own pot, they come around with the various teas for refills so you are able to try different ones which is nice. The tea services has your traditional sandwiches (egg, salmon (on the saltier side) and tuna), apricot scone w/ whipped cream and lemon curd, one blackberry & gooseberry, one macaron, Vietnamese coffee cake (couldn't taste the coffee) and a chocolate mousse parfait. Everything was good and I was full for the whole day. Definitely $$$ but a fun outing with the girls!

Yelp
I got afternoon tea here with friends and it was a really cool experience! Basically you pay for a whole assortment of foods including sandwiches, a scone, macarons, and cake/parfaits. And of course there is tea, with all the refills, honey, and cream that you want. There is too much to list so I definitely suggest checking out the menu to see what exactly is being served, as it may vary from season to season. For afternoon tea, be sure to reserve online in advance. When we went on Black Friday, it was not crowded at all, so the staff was very attentive and refilled our tea almost immediately. I really enjoyed all the foods, but it was too much sugar by the end and I could not finish all the desserts. However, every item was quite good and I enjoyed it as a lunch meal. The setup and presentation was all really cute and I think it was definitely worth the experience, although it was $45 a person (we had a discount though ;D).

Yelp
Unique little spot! The three of us came on a Sat night just after 7:00PM and it was not very crowded when we arrived - but in a very short time the place was filled up and hopping. The atmosphere has this European type sophisticated almost pretentious flair to it....but the staff was super warm and friendly. It took us a while to decide as the menu was so creative and different - so we needed to read all of them to understand our options. My bride went with the Magic Flute ($16) and she enjoyed the raspberry mousse. My son went with the Napoleon Meets Josephine ($12) and the enjoyed the mix of flavors. I ordered the Russian Ballerina ($14) - the olive oil ice cream was the best part! It's not a place we would visit often.....but certainly a very unique place to go for a special occasion or to take visitors.

Yelp
My first high tea experience and it was amazing, I would love to come here again for all occasions! You're hit with a wave of amazing bakery smells as soon as you walk in. There was a huge selection of teas that you could choose from and you weren't limited in what you could choose to drink. The server was so diligent about coming back frequently and checking to see if we needed more tea or wanted to try something else. There was also so much food it was impossible to eat it all in one sitting. There was a mix of savory and sweet. Don't be scared to not finish cause you can take it home with you! It was such a lovely experience, the care and attention to details definitely will keep me continuing to come back soon. Also at the very end they give you a little notebook where previous patrons have recorded their experience or just left a little note!

Yelp
Reading the reviews here, I didn't realize the FogRose was a pop up in a bar. The pictures made it look like a nice bright space. Instead it was a dark cocktail lounge vibe - not really an afternoon tea kind of place. However, the food was good for the most part. We had some unusual dietary requests and they were all respected. The savories were mostly good - the poached egg a little bland with since we got the vegetarian version with no prosciutto/ham. The pasteries were good and the scone excellent. The teas were a mixed bag. Since they were not prepared per pot, but served by the cup, the temperature on all the teas were luke warm. I guess this is OK if you are not expecting hot tea. The Earl Grey was not the classic flavor - I didn't care for it much. The English Breakfast was good. Others in our party greatly enjoyed the variety of teas available.
