Forever 21

Oh, my word. This place is a disaster! I was very worried a customer would strip on the HUNDREDS of hangers on the time floors and end up with a busted head. There were only 2 cashiers, and no one else in the store that I could see. In response to the danger to customers the cashiers just shrugged their shoulders. Not that they could do anything, since the line was long and there were only 2 of them.

The place was a complete mess, floor is dirty and covered with clothes. I understand it's a busy weekend and it can be overwhelming but the level of disorganization is crazy.

Diverse selection of clothes for the younger crowd, or maybe those wanting to look younger. Selection was good, with friendly staff.

I don't know if they are understaffed or just lazy. The entire store is a mess with clothes strewn all over the floor blocking the isle. Nothing was organized I couldn't find two of one thing on the racks. The racks were overfilled with clothing practically falling off of them. I wouldn't shop here. You are best finding clothes elsewhere.

Stopped here shopping for a couple of gifts. For 5-10 mins there was NO one at the registers and a line of 10 people -at 5:45pm. I was ready to set down the items and just walk out, then suddenly 4 people came out. Very strange.

The store hours say 9 o'cloc for closing, but at 815 a short lady with black hair and glasses was RUDE, saying the closed and no register is up and we had to leave that they were already closed and we shouldnt notbhave come in... The gate was not closed.. guess the employees can make up any hours they want and treat people like trash.

I checked out at 3:30pm today. I was browsing the small items in the checkout line waiting to be called. There was no one in line behind me. I was having a conversation with my fiance when suddenly one of the cashiers yelled out at us, looking me in the eyes yelling, "We said next in line!" It wasn't a friendly she-didn't-hear-us yell, it was a hurry-up-you're-a-problem yell. It was loud and it was rude, and it made me feel shocked and embarrassed as other customers turned to look. I'm a quiet person who hates confrontation, so I didn't say a word as I checked out with the cashier to the right of the cashier who yelled at me. I never got any apologies or explanation for why she yelled. Like if they just said, "Sorry to startle you, it's just so loud in here, we had to yell," I would have spoken up and said "Sorry I must have not heard you the first time you called!" We'd be cool. But that didn't happen. Anyways I've never been spoken to like this by a cashier, so I was really offended. So much that I'm still thinking about it now, hours after this exchange. I'm probably taking this too personally, but I still don't have any desire to return to this store's location if the staff feels they can yell at customers like that. I do like my clothing purchases though, so I won't go below 3 stars.

Horrible customer service. Went in on 11/11/2013 to buy my wife a skirt that was on a 40% off rack and was told I could not get 40% off. The girl behind the counter with all the piercings was very rude and when I asked her if someone was going to correct the false advertising she said not right now. Another girl waked out from behind and I asked her if I could speak to a manger and she told me it would be a minute but instead of calling for a manager she instead went over to the other girl and then got onto another cash register to avoid calling for a manager. All they would have had to do is get a manager to talk to me and A fix the problem or B show me if I misunderstood the 40% promotion and then problem solved but no these girls were rude and provided worse than wal-mart level customer service. Will not shop here again.

I feel bad when places close, someone's dream dies, and people lose their jobs. It's just not a happy time for a lot of people bur such is the case for Forever 21. Even though this store is closing, they still have a huge selection of men's and women's clothing to choose from. And at up to 60% off, the value is amazing! Unfortunately I personally did not find any bargains I needed, I know many people will.

I was very sad to see how this store wasn't organized. Ive shopped at F21 stores since 2004- when they were clean and had higher quality clothes. I have seen most F21 stores gone down hill. Besides the chaos in the store, the employees at the register were friendly.

I've NEVER in my life been to such a dirty forever 21, it was horrible! They really need to hire more people to help. It looked like a tornado went through the store and destroyed everything! I only saw 1 poor worker trying to fix everything by themselves. I would hate working here, honestly you can tell this store has horrible management.

I am going to make this review in a list manner. THE STAFF The staff were over privileged spoiled brats, they wouldn't speak because of the fact that I had a back the blue wrist band on. It shouldn't matter because of my political beliefs, your getting payed to sit there, cash out, and help the end customer, and clean the store up, it shouldn't be just one of the crew members job, they should have at least 10 walking around at all times keeping the store clean. CLEANNESS. The store was what I would call filthy. I am surprised grapevine mills doesn't have guidelines to keep the stores clean. The store is the worst kept store I've seen. it is truly terrible. RUN RUN RUN VERY VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

It's Forever 21, what could you really expect, bored unhappy retail workers. I don't have super high hopes. Where I have an issue: My sister is in a wheel chair, and when we go to the dressing room she has to wait almost 15 minutes for one person who has a ton of clothes to come out of the handicap dressing room so that she can try on her clothes. I understand that it is unrealistic to keep the handicap stall open just waiting for someone in a wheel chair to come in, BUT the staff should be trained to explain to someone that while they can go into that stall, if someone comes in (who is obviously handicap) they will be asked to move so that that person can use the ONE stall available to them. Not to mention the girl in the dressing room didn't even speak, she just pointed or moved her fingers in a follow me motion. I don't expect anything to come from the review accept maybe the management team really think about how they can make everyone feel comfortable in their establishment.

Grapevine Mills isn't my favorite mall. For some reason it bugs me that it's so... circular. I know that's a bad reason but there you have it. Anyway, the Forever 21 here is one of the better ones, I think. Even though it's ridiculously large and you never know where to start, it seems to always be clean and organized. How can all those millions of clothes and accessories be so nice and neatly arranged!? It makes absolutely no sense, but it's true. Another benefit: this Forever 21 is typically well-staffed. If it's a busy day and you have to wait in line, they're usually doing the best they can and have multiple registers open. It's not like 25 people are out on the floor hanging up mesh crop-tops while one poor soul is managing all the sales and returns on their own. That's the worst. Forever 21 doesn't sell the most high-quality products in the world, but where else can you find so many colors of trendy leggings, oversized tanks, sunglasses, suede wedges, and funky scarves for so damn cheap? I love it. My finds have held up very well, thank you, as long as I don't accidentally put them in the dryer. Just air-dry those tiny, lacy shirts and you'll be A-OK! There's also a pretty nice men's section and plus-sized section here. They're too small, I think, but at least they exist. I come here all the time (and shop online as well). Remember you can only return items for store credit, but you're bound to find something else. Love love loveeee Forever 21. I'll be "21" as long as I can get away with it (don't worry, I don't wear crop-tops). But still... I don't want to buy real adult clothes :(

This store is a mess!! There are cloths everywhere! I don't wanna shop here because nothing is in place together and thrown all over the floor. This used to be one of our favorite stores and now it is messy, cluttered and the prices are higher than in years with material that is very cheap.

Very slow people!!! They closed alllll the registers but 1 before 9 pm and there were 20 ppl on line with one slow cashier. I understand you want to leave sooner than later but seriously hire more people this is ridiculous! Will never shop here again!

I highly recommend taking a shot of high end tequila before your shopping trip here just to calm your nerves. It's like fighting a jammed pack closet searching for the perfect outfit Apparently word is out that I am a fashionista, So not only do I take my girls shopping here I have a few friends tag along with us as well. I think It would be easier if I had a rolling rack to push around, I wonder if purchased one on Craigslist They would let me bring it in? I never buy anything for myself, but I do have fun in here picking out outfits. It is flattering when the girls say Miss Mary my outfit you picked out was featured in Seventeen Magazine this month, So maybe I missed my calling, so what I can live out my super-personal-stylist-to-the-stars dream here in Grapevine Texas I read in some other reviews that the clothing does not seem durable and only lasts a few weeks, I beg to differ. I wash on a medium cycle and hang dry everything from here! They actually still look new-to gently used! Plus I Iron everything It's pretty much like a ton of stores in one they have a girls section -sizes 7-14 (they run small) Maternity section, mens section, stylish accessories and jewelry for young women and girls, Plus size section, Shoe section, and more I am just tired thinking about it They do a major floor change about every 6 weeks but are adding items daily. FYI they only allow 6 items in the fitting room so grab a bag for every 6 you want to try on Weekends are crazy! I do see a ton of Teeniles here teenile (adjective) Used to describe someone who is way too old for what he or she is wearing; see also senile. "That 45-year-old woman in those low-cut jeans? Is she crazy or just teenile?" Good luck

My daughter and I were shopping in Forever 21 on November 6th, 2019. While my daughter was in the dressing room trying on clothing, a light fixture fell from the 14 ft ceilings and hit my daughter on the head. We immediately asked for help and asked for the manager. We also asked for an incident report. Not only did they not offer us any help. They would not allow us to fill out an incident report! So I made them take down our contact information. They said that a store manager would contact us in the morning to get an incident report filed. They contacted my daughter who is a minor instead of me as a parent! After getting the statement over the phone. They have repeatedly refused to give me a copy of that report and said that we are not party to that report. I explained, yes ma'am, we are party to that report, as that report and incident was about my daughter! I have contacted corporate and left messages, and no one has called me back. They have since ghosted us instead of trying to contact us any! The very least they could have done is offer to pay for the medical bills. But we have not even been called or acknowledged! Awful customer service, management, corporate management and obviously their building isn't safe if objects are falling from the ceiling on unsuspecting shopping customers! Just an awful experience at a store my daughter used to love to shop at!

So Forever 21 ... seemed like a interesting store for what I guess is ok priced clothing for teens, young adults or those trying to look it. Most of the time I just walked thru this store to get to the other side of the mall as this was the last store that connects the side of the mall with Lego land to the side of the mall with Rainforest Cafe. They have recently closed for a remodel which I was concerned that they would remove that convenance but was pleasantly surprised to see both entrances & exits there when I ventured in here to make my first purchase for my daughter as she is getting to age/size to shop here. Was looking for a maroon skirt I had seen online for $5, to go with my daughters Clone Wars Halloween costume, never found it & as it was end of the day most employees were restocking, cleaning, or at cash register ... though I will admit most employees were dressed similar to customers so I could have passed by a few that were talking to people. Anyway found something similar for $10 but it was on the wrong display, so I decided to take a gamble with the size small vs x-small that I felt she would need. A big negative from a customer stand point is that where they used to have two check out stations; one at each entrance now there is a single check out where there was a pretty long line for only 2/3 check out clerks. A manager was hovering behind the counter observing so possibly one was training. The clerk I got was very nice & before I paid warned me about their relatively new return policy ... or should I say lack of one as you can only get store credit which not very many regular retailers do; at least knew that deal in new from store product. A policy I've seen at resale places or at stores that buy overstock product from other stores.

Update: they wouldn't let me return my items. Bad bad service, so bad. No attempt to reconcile.

Overwhelming. It's usually the first word out of a shopper's mouth when you ask them about Forever 21. Racks, shelves, stacks, baskets oh my! Clothes and accessories are literally everywhere. The combination of too many choices and not enough time to browse can be a nightmare at this store...so here are some helpful tips for shopping at Forever 21. Know Before You Go It's a good idea to have an idea of what you're looking for before you even step foot in this store. Make a mental list...."I need a dress for Friday night, some more white tank tops and if I see any cute tops I'm totally getting them." That way you have a game plan for your eyeballs when they're busy scanning thousands of items. Be Dressing Room Ready Don't wear tons of layers and jewelry to try clothes on. They'll just get in the way. Also, don't even think about doing your hair...trying on tons of clothes will totally mess it up. Dress for comfort and you'll get more shopping done in less time. Long Sleeve It My biggest piece of advice for you is to wear a long sleeve shirt. That way when you fill your arm up with hangers it won't leave indentions and hurt. Have a Browsing Plan Once you walk into Forever 21 decide if you're going to go right or left. Once you make your decision continue making a lap around the entire store. Do not zigzag...you will miss things. If you see something you like grab it! Fill your arm with everything you like....it doesn't matter if you have a mountain of clothes on your arm....most likely only half of them will be keepers after you try them on. Skip the Sale Racks Don't waste your time in the "sale" area. Most of it is already outdated, returned and destroyed. Yes, the prices are super low....but in this case you truly get what you pay for. Stay on track and go after newer pieces, you'll wear them more. Down Below Some of the cutest things I've found at Forever 21 have been hidden in shelves under tables, wadded up under a pile of jeans or crammed in between ugly things on racks. Be sure to look everywhere...everything in this store is for sale....even the things hidden in drawers. So Many Colors So Little Time When in doubt on which of the 12 colors to choose from....go with solids. Black is probably your best bet. Something I've found to be true with most of their colorful tops is that they fade into dingy colors. So, if you want that bright orange top....think about what it's going to look like after 2 washes....that's right...it will look like you got it at Wal-Mart. Broken = Keep Walking So you found the cutest beaded top...but some of the beads are loose....walk away! Don't buy anything in this store if it already has loose threads or any type of damage. If it can't hold up from the truck to the store rack it definitely won't hold up after you wear it out. Duh! Stock Up Tank tops, leggings and t-shirts are great for layering under Forever 21's trendy tops. Be sure and stock up on the basics here...they're cheaper than anywhere else and you'll wear them a lot. Buy Now Or Forever Be Sad If you tried it on and it fit....and it's not too expensive for a Forever 21 outfit...get it! Odds are if you change your mind and go back you won't be able to find it and/or it will already for gone. Go With an Honest Friend With so many choices, you'll need some help determining if your butt does in fact look huge in that dress. You can save valuable dressing room time by simply holding something up in the store and asking your friend if they like it or not....if they say it's weird looking don't even think about trying it on. Register Woes Once upon a time I found the COOLEST necklace known to man for only $3.00. I proudly took it to the register with all my finds for the day and when I got home to dump out my bag it was nowhere to be found. Although, it was of course on my receipt. Lesson learned...keep an eye out at the register and make sure they actually put your jewelry and other small items in your bag. The "Return" Policy Forever 21 doesn't allow in-store returns. Instead, they offer exchanges within 30 days of purchase. So it's really more of an exchange policy. Just another reason to make sure you reallllly reallllly want what you're thinking about buying. Don't Fall In Love Don't get too attached to anything you buy from this store. Most likely it will fall apart in about 2 weeks. Quantity rains supreme over quality here. But that's why everything is so cheap....so you can't really complain can you? Forever 21 can be a goldmine...but sometimes it can make you cry out of frustration. Whatever the case, always remember to have fun. Breathe and keep searching. You will eventually find what you're looking for...it'll probably be hiding behind an ugly shirt.

I stood in line Saturday night for 30-40 minutes to make a purchase. 7 registers but only two open and one of those two was having issues. Apparently, a technology ticket was submitted two days before and corporate had yet to resolve the issue. Store management was doing the best they could. When I informed the MOD that I would be contacting their corporate office she expressed concern about retribution from the corporate office. I believe she was being honest with me. It makes me angry that corporations don't support their front line employees anymore. The line to the cash wrap was a nuisance as well.

This store is very messy and unorganized. My daughter asked for help finding a dress and the girl just pointed and said "it might be over there." There were clothes and crap all over the floor to the point it was dangerous to walk. I will think twice about coming back to this store.

Love what they have done to the place. But unfortunately it's always messy but you are sure to find something you'll like. They have very great prices. And their trend is always up there. The clothing for men is not up to bar. 5 years ago was amazing but not so much anymore.

Some of the worst customer service yet. As I was walking in the store at 8:36, they were shutting one of the doors when the store doesn't close until 9 PM. Then 8:40 they shut off the music as an obvious hint to finish your shopping as quickly as possible. Nobody asked if they could help me or how I was doing. They were only concerned with me leaving the store. The only reason I'm giving the store any stars, is because the person checking me out was a little bit friendly. I love the clothes here and when we travel from out of town I always make it a point to stop by the store wherever I find one. Maybe next time I will try a different location.

Hooooooooly crap. I have come to terms with the fact that I am a F21 addict. Whenever I can, I'll go to one. It's like Costco: you may see something you like one time, but if you don't buy it, don't get all pissy when you come back and it's not there. It's true. It's happened on more than one occasion. This location stressed me out. It is by far THE messiest ever. I found myself wandering back toward the front of the store to where the only organization was. I found it. It was shaking; holding on for dear life. Ended up purchasing two pieces and didn't have to wait long in line at all. (Another F21 hazard.) I'd return-- but ONLY for the thrill of finding something. I've been spoiled by the "oh wow I can't believe it's actually organized" store near my home.

This store is awful. The whole place is a mess & unorganized & most of the employees are not nice either. I was shopping there around Christmas & I was looking at pieces in one area. EVERYTHING was on the floor & under the racks & displays. I picked a bralette up off the floor & was looking it, then deciding it wasn't what I wanted so I put it on top of the rack (without a hanger) because I didn't want to throw it back down on the floor. I didn't know what hanger it went on or where it went exactly but I wasn't just going to throw it down. An employee walking by saw me do it & came over & said, "Excuse me, that does not go there. If I see you do it again, I'm going to ask you to leave." & picked it up off the rack & then threw it BACK ON THE FLOOR. I was not happy & stood there in shock.

The WORST. Like get some organization in that place. You guys can't even put the same kind of tops together. I go to one rack and it's got a polka dot dress, a pink top, a pair of shorts hanging up, and a skirt. Wtf? And you don't even have multiple sizes of each. Just one size! I love forever 21 but definitely not this location. It's trash and apparent management is awful and employees are lazy

Normally this store is hit or miss, but today it was a total miss. Not just because I couldn't find anything for my party but because the service was HORRENDOUS!! I had put a dress on hold the night before and came to purchase it but it was gone. And the man helping me couldn't have cared less! He said he was going to look for it and never returned. If you are looking for a pleasant employee experience then this is NOT the place you want to be. Try Northpark instead. Overall, 2 stars for service is extremely generous.

I've been going to this store for about 3 years now and I've never had such a bad experience till today. First of all the place is extremely messy! I understand that it's a huge brand and they get a lot of clients but it's so bad, the clothes are literally everywhere. Second of all the staff here is so rude, if you work in a place where you have to deal with customers and their questions then you have to have patience and control. Especially if you have a messy fitting room area. It's not the customers fault that you can't keep that area clean. The people working in the dressing room area are super bad with the service, if I ask a question and you respond with an attitude best believe you're gonna get some straight back. Basically the store needs a deep clean and some new staff members.

is anyone ever too old to shop at forever 21? every time i take my guy bff shopping with me, he always makes fun of me...he tells me that i need to act my age and shop at forever 41...very funny (not really)...i belong in here, damn it! i just tell him to f*ck off and drag him in anyway... this is a great place if you just need a cute top for a night out and don't want to spend a load of money...as others have already mentioned, don't expect to wear it more than a handful of times... so, to answer my question...no, no one is ever too old to shop at forever 21...although...i can TOTALLY verify my 21 forever status...eh hem...with my fake ID, that is ;-)

Do not order from forever 21!!!! Check BBB first. I never received my order and they refused a refund. They said to take it up with UPS. UPS said they can only file a claim with the seller Forever 21! Awful!!!

The employees seem to have fun not doing anything and having corporate dish out pay checks every two weeks. Even if it's a minimum wage job it doesn't mean it's not a multi million dollar company. Each time I stop by on the way to the airport I seem to realize that the Willowbend location and Galleria/Northpark locations although a bit of a further drive dish out better customer service and exude a better merchandising environment. What struck a cord with me finally was over hearing a customer at the register receive a not so courteous attitude about how much this seemingly young professional man could make an hour upon being hired in that disorganized environment. They continued on with an attitude even after being turned away. Soon after My Girlfriend walked up behind me and told me to just put down our purchases because H&M was the next store over. I literally spent close to an hour shopping all for us to lay all of our purchases (maybe $200-$400 worth) on the pile of clothes masking the jewelry section with all the other piles. (I must've been the 8th customer that day to go through something similar?) Lesson learned: shop here on last minute occasions that way you're just in and out? Or just head straight to the airport? for those that travel through the area.

Addicted. Just buy clothes dont buy shoes not of good quality. No returns just exchanges and store credit.

Plus size section is a little lighter than I've seen at other locations. However, this F21 is clean and well kept.

I would give this location 3 stars but I just can't bring myself to do so. I hate to search through clothes for a certain size but it is worth it for the price. You can be trendy for cheap! Some of the items aren't the best of quality but most trends don't last long.

Forever 21 is the place to be for teenagers and young adults. They have everything you need for a medium price. What makes it even better is that they have a Mens xx1

This store is trashed. The employees here do not value customer service. I ordered product online and decided to return it to store. Apparently, the refund policy was changed recently and you cannot receive anything but store credit if you return items you bought online, to the store. Anyway, I drove 40min out of my way to return product to the store, waited in line for 20min and when I was finally helped, the young man at the registers neglected to say anything about the store credit refund, even as I was handing him my credit card and invoice. So he processes my return, puts it on a store credit card and hands it to me without saying a single word. I asked why I wasn't getting my money back on my credit card and he stated the return policy had changed. Okay well why didn't you say that as I was handing you my credit card? He then stated he could not undo it. I asked to speak to the manager who barely knew what he was talking about and they couldn't void the transaction so the man took the store credit and purchased the clothes again with it and handed me the receipts and stated that I'd need to send in my returns through the mail. I hope that money is put back on my credit card or customer service will be hearing PLENTY from me.

So today I went into the fitting room with a hand full of wonderful things and in the other hand two items I wanted to try on. I give my clothes that I knew I wanted to the girl at the fitting room because you can only take a number of items and I had too many. Well when I came out she had lost my clothes!!! I'm so mad. They have poor customer serves, never going back, I'm so upset. I took forever to really find cute things just to get them lost, I should t have gone in there in the first place. Wast of my time just to not buy anything. I am so upset!!

Just had a worse experience ever. The customer service is very bad and rude. I was in line and the cashier Lindsay told me that there is another one on the other side like it would be faster if I do so (i assumed so because I was the next in line but she still wanted to send me to the other one), so I went and there was nobody there, so when I saw a staff walking by, I told her I'm ready. Then this black girl says "there is no one there", so I had to walk all the way back to the original one I came from and she was still taking care of the same person and a new lady was waiting in line. I told her there was nobody there but she was like there should be an Indian girl there. I told her no, and she just looked very annoyed and didn't even take me right after the first person and took the new person. I waited patiently, but she never said sorry or acknowledged about making me walk back and forth and make me wait longer. I wanted to yell at her but I had my little daughter with me so I kept it in and decided to bring it to attention on here. It seems like, this place has no proper training with customer service and it makes me wonder what kind of management they have. This is definitely not a pleasant place to shop even though the selections of clothes were pretty good! Too bad..

Bought a shirt for my son in April. The shirt didn't fit and I had 30 day to return the shirt. Today was day 30 so I went in for the return. Since I'd been there they started this final sale thing and were not accepting any returns. I told the manager that when I purchased the shirt this policy was not in place and the needed to honor what's on my receipt. He wanted me to go to Frisco or Dallas for the return. I got very upset with them and complained and told him I'd call corporate. He asked the other cashier to call security and she said she already had. I stepped to the side of the counter and was on hold with corporate. The security Guard came a few minutes later and asked me to leave. I told him they weren't honoring the receipt and that he could see I was quietly waiting for someone on the phone. Then the police come in. I explain to them what's going on and they tell me they can't make them return the money. All this while waiting for corporate to answer. They said I need to step out and it would be a civil matter or report it to the Better business bureau. They said if I get a hold of corporate I could come back in. Finally get a hold of the District Manager and I explain to her what's going on. Without issue she says she'll call the store and have them do the return for store credit. Once I use my store credit at another location I will never step foot at Forever 21 again.

Clean. Neat. Well organized. Well staffed. Not too long of a wait at the registers. Cute clothing and accessories. Lots of options in the buckets at the registers. Great prices. One stop shop for your Christmas stocking stuffers if you have girls to shop for. Great prices! (I know I already said that, but worth mentioning again.) In the Grapevine Mills Mall, so you can do other things, too, when you go, like get a Pacugio Gelato, ice cream cone, or Discovery Zone, or the Aquarium. Always the latest trends, so if you want to know what is in style, it is worth a peek. They sell in layers, so if you don't like what your daughter likes, you can always agree by finding one more layer to go with it. A word of warning to the mother's though. Don't just buy the third layer you agree on- literally sew it in or on her outfits, with lots and lots of thread so she can't accidentally lose it at the dance or take it off for the dance and put it on just before she comes home. :-) If you are going to invest in that third layer to cover her up, make sure she stays covered up! ;-)
