I knew this place, 3 years ago I visited it twice and honestly I had better experiences before. I took a smash potato for appetizer and they were great - I highly recommend it and so did my friend. I also ordered kale salad with chicken (I don't know why they were served separately) the salad tasted good, but in my opinion it had way too much dressing. My friend also ordered burrata with summer vegetables. The coffee was very good

Excellent all around!! The service was excellent, our sever was detailed and took his time answering all of our questions and gave great recommendations. Everything we ate was delicious, we couldn’t stop eating. We’ll be back!! Next time we’ll make room for dessert. 🙌🏽

I never leave reviews. I love Fornino. I usually get this insane crispy eggplant sandwich, soooo good. A friend sometimes gets it and they're able to substitute the cheese for vegan cheese/take out the pesto to make it vegan. A server told people don't really go for the sandwiches here. That's preposterous. Get the damn sandwich! It's amazing! Look at it!

Ambiance in the back garden where we had a dinner last Friday was everything. A true NYC neighborhood gem. The food was great, fantastic actually, we had meatballs, garlic bread, shishito peppers and three pizzas, the lombardia, margherita, and another one, white with prosciutto and truffle and everything was so tasty and flavorful and just so good. I loved it all. We had some drinks too home made sangria and the fornino spritz are both deliciously refreshing and strong enough to keep things interesting haha! Finished the night with some affogato for desert and it just hit the spot :) Most of all I wanna compliment the staff. We were waited on by two people a super cool laid back guy and after by a girl who was equally as hospitable and knowledgeable, we absolutely lover them and wanna show our appreciation this way as well. Keep up the amaZing work and stay true to the neighborhood vibes and your philosophy, we loved you and can’t wait to come again!

Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had! Wood fired artisan pizza that is so good. You can even see them making it in the oven. Their fennel sausage is amazing and I’d highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert! Though you’ll definitely want someone to share it with! Lovely place with great history!

Had a reservation for 4 people at 7 pm on a Friday. It was busy, but they still accommodated my time even though my group was running late. We ordered 3 different pizzas and the tiramisu (Magherita, Melazane, and a truffle mushroom pizza). I loved loved loved the crust. The toppings were also tasty but the crust stood out the most for me. The tiramisu was super sweet— and sized for 4 people not one. My dining partner had the sangria but found it not strong enough/ too sweet. They switched to a red wine the waiter recommended and enjoyed that instead. Our group spent several hours there but we were never rushed. Hope to return again soon!

My husband and I were walking around and found out about this pizzeria. It’s just perfect! My paladar was literally exploding with the appetizer “corn ribs with a pesto sauce”. I got a “Pera & Coppa” pizza that was INSANE, I never had a flavor with combined so well savory, spice, and sweet on the same bite!! You don’t know how much you need to try this place, so just go 😹

NY and pizzas - this one surely has great ambience & pizzas. Best part- they have a lot of vegetarian options on the menu and you have a personal size as well!

An unexpected work lunch with colleagues had me back at this place after my hiatus for 4 years with my work mom. I was pretty excited to come back and give this place another go and see if they upped their game at all. My overall experience was just on the A-Ok side, and here's why. One star removed for how long it actually takes to get your pizza. We ordered right away, starting with two large pizzas and one small. We all noticed it was taking an unusually long time, especially since it was just us and one other table in the whole establishment. I remembered from eating here last time it took a while, but decided I guess you can't rush perfection. We opted to order this time the Funghi Misti, with my boss's suggestion of extra cheese for one of the large pies, and the other was the Bonassola. The clear winner was the Funghi Misti for me. It tasted far superior to the other pies we ate, and the flavors were a balanced, perfect blend. The pizza crust is worth eating and that's exactly what I did. The Bonassola was a bit too salty for me, due to the olives on top, and the spicy kick at the end wasn't really doing it for me. It was overall pretty to look at, but just too much happening in one bite. The small pie was got was the Al Roker, and that was just to me an oily spicy mess. This was just not what I was expecting when naming this after the famous weatherman, although this did cloud my senses. Too much meat and grease; the bottom of the three. For dessert we shared a $14 slice of Michael's Tiramisu that was generous for two people or more in my opinion. This was tasty, but not the best I've ever had. Definitely has an Americanized twist to it, so keep that in mind. The overall vibe in here is very casual and light. The tables are spacious and it's a good place to meet up with friends if you're not in a rush. They do have an outdoor space with wooden tables and umbrellas, so I can see this being packed on a Thirsty Thursday.

I've been here a few times for lunch pre pandemic and really enjoy their pizzas. I believe they are now only open in the evenings (maybe lunch at weekends?) so on the rare occasion that we found ourselves in Greenpoint in the evening it was an easy pick for us for a quick dinner. The menu has a selection of appetizers, salads and pizzas ranging from very basic to original creations. They also do calzones and have gluten free and vegan options. The room is very pleasant, service is attentive, prices are reasonable, pies are tasty. It's a good solid option if you're in the area and fancy a casual dinner. It's also a good place for larger parties and family groups.

Was a regular customer when they were on kent ave. Unfortunately the quality went down severely.Calxone had actually no filling-just air- as it was blown up appearing to be huge.$20 for air calzone.Same with the pies.Thin,no cheese ,hardly no sauce but good crust.zIt was a nice crust pie for $22.Very disaapointing.Also..they are not too welcoming on patrons with dogs-even service animals.Though the place was empty the host tried to convince us to dine outside though we requested inside.A group of ten kids who entered created a high noise level and caused a rukus more than our service dogs who slept under the table.

Service was slow but kind. Service probably took this from a 4.5 to a 4 :( Broccolini (8/10): very good, I liked the flavor combos, especially the unique addition of the hazelnut with the citrus vinegrette. Could've used a smidge of heat and was generally too expensive for what it was. But all together, tasty. Margherita DOC (9.3/10): I don't remember a marg this hood. Good god. The bitterness from the char worked perfect. My only criticism was my pizza sat there on the counter waiting to be picked up, for about 8 min, so the basil wilted :) also it could've used a bit more cheese, but this is nitpicking. Ultimately, come for the margherita pizza. Good god.

We came to Fornino to get pizza for our movie night at Skyline Drive-In for Barbie. Pies are handcrafted and wood fired here and the wait time didn't take long. We ordered 4 large pies for $142.63 * Pera E Coppa ($33.00) * Lombardi ($33.00) * Funghi Misti ($31.00) * Tre-Carni ($34.00) Pera E Coppa and Funghi Misti were our absolute favorite. The pear and mixes of cheese with the spicy honey in the Pera E Coppa was full of flavor, it was savory, complex, spicy, and a little sweet. While Funghi Misti was an umami bomb of flavors, if you love mushrooms you will devour this pizza. I loved the combination of arugula and lemon in Lombardi with the salty prosciutto. Tre-carni is a pretty standard meat pie -- it just didn't stand out compared to the others. Next time I come here, I would love to try out more of their third-generation combinations.

Why bother with Little Italy when Fornino in Greenpoint shines so brilliantly? And for us proud Brooklynites, there's no need to venture across the bridge for culinary greatness. Among a plethora of flavors, the Tre-Carni--yes, I may have gone all-in with a large--holds my heart. It's that good; in fact, it even won me over as cold leftovers the next day. Patience to reheat? Not a chance. My Fornino journey has spanned both dine-in and delivery, and trust me, they've nailed it every time. This is no hit-or-miss game--they consistently hit the mark, and that's a victory dance worth savoring.

This pizzeria has been on my list for quite some time, and seeing that they have favorable weekend hours, I decided to give it a try, in addition to an unnamed Yelper who coerced me to come out to Greenpoint and give it a go. The pizzeria is a short walk from the Greenpoint Ave. stop on the G train, which means either unless you live in Greenpoint or Bed-Stuy, you are going to have to switch trains. Me coming from Coney Island, this means I have switch trains with the F train. So it will take a bit of a trek to get going here. I got there just as the restaurant opened, at 12 noon, and while nobody was there, I can forgive that as the restaurant was just opening. The menu has an eclectic number of pies, in addition to their calzones. Asking what is popular, I went with the Al Roker pizza, as my server overwhelmingly suggested it. I also had to go with the larger pie. Go big or go home baby! The pie arrives about 15-20 minutes later (it felt like an eternity, because I was starving), and it is a sharp looking pie. Smoldering out of the oven, with a dense amount of toppings (it comes with hot soppersata, sweet peppers, caramelized onions (which I did not get), tomato sauce, and mozzarella). First off, the crust is amazing. That pillowy, pita bread-like texture, is one of my favorites (this is after all a wood-fired pizza), and it tastes perfect. After that, things get dicey. The soppresata is a bit on the porky side, and aggressively salty, the peppers trying to downplay it somewhat, but the aggressiveness of the meat overtakes the entire pie. Toppings were also sliding off slices, and I deduct points for that. Yes, they stay on as it cools, but it should stay on throughout. It is overall a tasty pie, but I needed several water glasses to get me through this. It was a little disappointing. To prove my server wrong, who initially ordered me the smaller personal pan, I finished the whole thing, and much to my surprise, I did not feel as bad when I finished it as to what I thought I thought was coming. This is likely due to the digestible crust, which allowed things to move smoothly, rather than rush out like Penn Station during rush hour. I would come back and try another pie, but would not rush back immediately, given what I had to do to come here and the price of the pies.

Ah! Didn't realize this place is serving up Brunch, but it is so worth the visit. Their BEC Calzone is unbelievable. I keep going right back to try more dishes and I love it every time. Definitely recommend!

Fornino made my New Year's Eve- if you are gluten free, go there now! The pizza was delicious and had, by far, the best crispy crust I have had. Lots of options for toppings, and also cooked separate from the flour covered fire. Arancini was also gluten free and delicious with a kick from the sauce. The artichoke was good but a little difficult to eat. Our waitress was super friendly and happy to chat about the gluten free food, and may have comped us a glass of wine. THANK YOU and we will certainly be back for pizza again soon!

I'm a sucker for good wood oven fired pizza! I've been to this location a handful of times and everything is amazing. Last time we came here after dancing all afternoon at hot honey Sundays! Can't beat a day like that.

Absolutely superb. Everything we ordered was perfect. I want to come back soon to eat all the things on the menu we didn't order. The staff are delightful. The pizza is truly excellent. The kale salad is perfect. The eggplant parmigiana is fantastic. The burrata and pumpkin incredible. The prices are very reasonable. This has got to be Brooklyn's best kept secret. And room is great too. It's spacious. The lighting is very good. The noise levels are perfect so conversation is possible. It's such a great find !!! I can't wait to return. (If you drink alcohol tho, you might want to check the menu. I think it's just beer and wine.) You will have a great time. They really know what they're doing here !!!! Congrats to all involved. And thank you for such an amazing meal.

Pizza was burnt and so paper thin I'm sure I'd have had to eat an entire large pie single-handedly to feel satiated. I get that it's a wood fired oven but the base was literally charred to the point it was inedible. Sauce was sweet, cheese was salty, basil was basily. I wouldn't have it again.

Love it when I'm in the neighborhood and get to come in. The space is always clean. The waitstaff is always accommodating. Service is great. My favorite things in the menu are Caesar salad, margarita pizza, meatballs and the corn "ribs". We had to order another order of corn "ribs" because they were so good. Definitely recommend. Plus they have an awesome lunch special.

Hot honey corn pizza sounds crazy but crazy good. The margherita had a good amount of cheese (sometimes I think they don't have enough), gorgeous space and great food.

Do not get their gluten-free pizza if you are a celiac or have any type of dietary reason. I ordered a pizza to go and watched as they made my pizza: they didn't wipe down the counter and used the same flour to roll out the pizza as the regular pizza. I was horrified when the pizza I watched them make was put into a box with a "gluten-free" sticker on top and handed to me. There are no safe practices to minimize cross-contamination here. Such a bummer.

Thoroughly enjoyed a late lunch Saturday 9/16/23. Pizzas are wood fired, thin crust using premium cheeses, sauces and toppings. Eclectic combinations, excellent salads , beer, wine, and desserts. We sat outside where there are about 12 tables with umbrellas. Clean facilities, and pleasant servers. Small pies are 4 slices, so personal pizzas. On the expensive side, but worth it .

Worst pizza EVER! We ordered the margarita classica, prosciutto with figs and mushroom sausage. All three taste like pure salt and old dough. Terrible service! We all prefer Frozen pizza over fornino....

We walked from Williamsburg through a storm to get here... and it was worth it! Fornino has vegan cheese and their pizzas are both creative and delicious. They also accept reservations. We made one for 9:30 because I knew I'd be hangry by that point, after some early cocktail-partaking. I used to be a customer way back in the old Bedford Avenue days. Their vegan option was to leave off the cheese, like most places over a decade ago, and their crust and sauce were so good, I was OK with that. But now, things are so much better because they have vegan cheese! I discovered this at a phenomenal Yelp Elite event held here a couple years back and have been vowing to go back ever since. Coming in from the storm, Fornino was not unlike a warm cozy hug, with its lambent interior beckoning. Ordered up a decent glass of Sangiovese and a spinach pizza, which, given the late hour, arrived in minutes (freshly cooked in the wood burning oven). The spinach pizza is a sight to behold, with its pile of fresh green baby spinach leaves, pine nuts and a glistening drizzle of truffle oil. I devoured the pizza, appreciating both the char of the crust and salty chewiness of the vegan mozz (the truffle oil adds perfect umami and unctuousness to the healthy spinach leaves). Next go around, I'll try one of their saucier pies, as this one is a white pie. I would have ordered 2 pizzas but knowing me I would have left the box of leftovers to some lucky stranger in a bar. I'll admit that Pauly Gee is my #1 (they have a dedicated vegan menu with a couple different vegan cheese and even cashew-based ricotta options), but they don't accept resos (I love that I can make quick reservations through Yelp) nor do they do a Yelp Waitlist, therefore you have to do the old school leave your name thing and wait around. I'm just not always up for that.

Fortina has solid pizza -- pricy but solid. I ordered the Salsiccia di Pollo, which had plenty of sauce and large hunks of tasty chicken sausage. The outer crust was fluffy, and the crust under all of the ingredients was thin. For a $17 personal pie, this is pretty good. This is the kind of place you can take a date while also stuffing your face with comfort food. Price: 3/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Now i understand why this place is so busy. I put an order in and it said at least 30 minute waiting time, but never assume until you walk into the business and see how it's pumping pizza left and right, front desk phone never stopped ringing, and a line of take out/delivery order. This made me pretty excited since seeing this sight really set my expectation high up. So we ordered the al rocker with kale salad. This is great because it was an awesome restaurant week deal for all the food at $20.21. Surprisingly the pizza was still good even when it was sitting in the car for half an hour. The dough was chewy and delicious. Hopefully they will have indoor dining soon to taste the true quality of their famous wood fire pizza.

Absolutely love fornino!!! The food is excellent- it is quality Italian. My go to pizza place in the neighborhood for fresh oven baked with all fresh ingredients you can always taste. Absolutely recommend and tbh this restaurant is in a league of its own in the neighborhood. The waitresses are also extremely kind and warm and have a great attitude and it's really refreshing. Never had a bad experience here. Love Fornino!

Though this wasn't NY style pizza, I was still a fan. The backyard patio seating was really nice on this hot day, and so was the food. We got a bottle of wine that went well with our selections as well. Service wasn't too bad either. We ordered the brussel sprouts, arugula salad, and small Asparagi e Prosciutto pizza. The brussel sprouts were delicious and piping hot. The arugula salad was refreshing but heavy on the dressing. The pizza was a tasty pick- though I think the arugula version would have been a bit better. The crust was a little too burnt, airy, and crisp for my taste, but some people enjoy their pizza like that. Overall, this was a good amount of yummy food for a decent price. Great backyard seating and awesome location.

Wonderful service with an intimate setting. Lombardi was phenomenal, the prosciutto was tooooo good. My friend loves this spot because of their gluten free crust. It's all too good.

Food is amazing. Food definitely deserves five stars. However, not only is Fornino's really, really expensive, but there are also two women who work here that are very rude. One star off for pricey prices and one star off for rude workers. I'm not going to pay a fortune for pizza in Brooklyn and get treated like shit. My business is officially going elsewhere. Ugh. One time I ordered & my husband went to go pick it up, the lady told him it wasn't paid for. It was. She pocketed the cash. Last time we ordered my calzone had prosciutto on it even though I didn't ask for that. Also I'm a vegetarian. This time my husband's cheese wasn't melted on his pizza. I haven't liked Fornino for years, however my husband does which is why we kept giving this place more and more chances. However, finally and thankfully, after today's order he's sick and tired of their laziness and mistakes, especially for their outrageous prices.

Found this place on the fly after a late night (Monday) in BK. My friend has gluten intolerance so this worked out great. What we didn't expect was for this pizza to be as delicious as it was. We ordered a Lombardi, Rustica and the Al Roker. Service was A+. Will definitely be back. Parking was not a problem. We literally pulled right up. However, it was 9 on a Monday. Not sure about earlier in the day or the weekend.

Fornino is a gem. Amazing brunch spot. You might think how is a pizza place a great brunch spot? It's simple - put together bottomless mimosas, prosecco, a pitcher of sangria or bottles of house wine and combine it with delicious brunch pizza - (great pizza combos that all come with 3 sunny side up running eggs). I came here on Sunday right at noon when they open and I was pleasantly surprised from the very beginning. Great music for a Sunday, good energy vibes but not too loud. Service was excellent - the waiter was super knowledgeable, friendly but not intrusive. And the drinks? The best way to describe their generosity is that for a party of 2 they gave us a whole 2 bottles of prosecco and a pitcher of orange juice. And let's not forget the pizza - super extensive menu where it's really hard to decide what to get. We got 2 brunch pizzas covered with 3 eggs each and they were both incredible. Dough of medium thickness, crispy but not too thin and topped with a lot of high quality ingredients. Come here for sure, it's delicious and fun and really well priced!

Fornino was amazing! The food was delicious, I had the grilled artichoke and Brussels sprouts. I also had the pepperoni pizza. The best pizza I've ever had. Would definitely recommend it. The staff was very helpful and kind. Overall, the whole experience was top-notch.

Yum! This place was great! Pizza and pretty much everything on the menu is fresh and made from scratch. I had the (gluten free) Al Roker and my bf had an eggplant pizza. Both were outstanding. We also shared an order of meatballs that were amazing. Service was good. Restaurant is cozy with cute decor. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped by on a Sunday evening and was able to get an indoor table without a reservation. Pizza was really good texture wise, not too crispy but also not soggy. I got the one with the spicy sopressata and my fiancé got the 4 cheese one. Mine was good and actually spicy, my only complaint is that it had a lot of sopressata which was too salty so I had to pick some off. I didn't taste my fiancé's but he said it was really good. Service was a little slow but other than that everything was great, will definitely go back to try more of their pizzas.

While in the neighborhood we were in the mood for something different hence we walked into this cool spot. We indulged in the brunch menu, which had interesting names for the meal options. We tried the Eggs in Purgatory and Spinach and Eggs pizza. Eggs in Pizza is very unusual, as I'm a basic pizza eater, yet it was brunch therefore we were feeling adventurous and to our surprise it was pretty good. The Eggs in Purgatory was tasty, which came with fingerling potatoes which were lightly salted and baked to perfection. It was great soaking the potatoes in the sauciness of the purgatory eggs. The food was very good and quite filling. We took left overs which was like having another meal to share, next time we will need two additional hungry people with us to eat at this spot. Look forward to trying a uniquely named and created meal at this neighborhood spot.

This place is absolutely delicious. BRING ON ALL THE PIZZA!!! Literally some of the best cheese I have had in my life. So fresh! Pine nut arugula was one of my favorites here. Their wine selection is also totally on point. Michael churned our some delectable pies that we couldn't wait to dig our hands into, and what an amazing guy. See that glass piece hanging in the main room? He's a glass blower!! Michael is a great guy, making great pizza, in a great place. Thank you for having us, Cheers!

Me and my date loved this place. It was classy. It was retro but gave off a great sense of "in the cut". The waitress was very attentive and did check with us often. My date paid attention to that. She likes to test the service sometimes, she's has a demanding personality and expects the hospitality and quality of service to be at its best while I observe all of details such as if we get served water, the portions, the length of time of the servings,etc. We're foodies and we are the perfect critics. I always lean towards steaks and meat while she leans towards lobster and shrimp. We loved this place. The peaceful energy it has is awesome. The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients! We ordered two different pies and desert and wine! I could never forget this place. One of the nicest places we ever been to in the last four years. We loved you and we will be back for more!

Here's to my first Yelp review in NYC! This review is based on my experience at the Yelp Elite Brooklyn event on November 25, 2019. This was my first Yelp Elite event in Brooklyn, and I had a wonderful time eating delicious food and meeting new people! Fornino should be in the conversation for your favorite place for neapolitan-style pizza in Brooklyn. Chef Michael provided a demonstration of his preparation of fresh mozzarella cheese from scratch. I actually never had fresh mozzarella like that, and it may have now ruined non-homemade mozzarella cheese for me. I liked some pizzas better than others, but everything was delicious. My favorite was the Cosenza (topped with spicy pork, squash, and spicy honey that perfectly balances out the savory). My second favorite was actually a meatless one called the Genovese (cherry tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella). Of course, you can't go wrong with the classic margherita pizza (score 1 again for our vegetarian friends). The inside was classy-casual so you can swing by for any occasion (or no occasion). Also, take some time to look up at the ceiling and admire the blown glass artwork! 5 stars!

My favorite pizzeria in Williamsburg that had gluten-free pizza closed down a while ago and ever since then i've been looking for a solid spot nearby that manages to exceed my expectations for gluten-free pizza. Fornino's is excellent! When i went, it was still fairly warm so i sat in their backyard area. They did have some seats in the front of their restaurant but it seemed to close to the noise and traffic so i opted for the quiet back yard. They had some glass screens up to separate you from the other people dining - so i felt pretty comfortable dining here. There were only a few other people dining outdoors as well so everyone had more than enough room around them. On to the food - i got the gluten free + vegan Ortolana, which has eggplant, zucchini, roast pepper, tomato, and cheese (you can get vegan cheese!!!). If you're Celiac, i would be mindful about eating here as the restaurant does mention their pizzas are baked in the same oven as their regular wheat pizza. I'm not Celiac, i just don't tolerate gluten if i eat a decent amount of it. Being both gluten and lactose intolerant, it gets tricky trying to find a pizza spot that caters to that. The crust wasn't dry, which i find to be common in gluten-free crusts, and there were enough veggies on the actual pie so i didn't feel hungry after. Can't wait to come back soon :)

Gluten free people BEWARE! This is NOT safe pizza! What's the sense of having GF if you cook it on the wheat flour top and use the same utensils. WTF! I've been sick for days after eating this. GF is not a choice for some of us. Wheat is actually poison to our bodies.

Just finished eating the genovese pizza and had to write an immediate review. One of the best pizzas I've had in a while. If you love pesto and you LOVE cheese -- get this. I will definitely order again.

My son and daughter always take me out for a birthday / fathers day dinner. This year they brought me to Fornino. Fornino is not yer typical Brooklyn pizzeria. Fornino has elevated the art of pizza making with combinations I'd not seen before. My daughter likes their arugula salad so we all shared one along with one of the evenings special appetizers, rice balls. Both were very good, best rice balls I've had to date. For the pizza I ordered a cheese and soppressata. The soppressata was delicious with a slight kick. The crust was perfectly cooked and was very flavorful. My son had the same but he also had spinach on his. My daughter had a sausage and broccoli rabe pizza. We all sampled each others pizza and they were all very. A nice glass of wine from their extensive wine list made my meal complete. Another good birthday dinner thanks to my kids.

They say this is the place to go to when you don't feel like waiting for paulie gee's, and while there's certainly truth to that, fornino deserves to be viewed on it's own. It's a great spot on manhattan ave that makes great wood fired pizza! The pies range from pretty standard to pretty interesting and inventive- it will please you whatever end of that pizza spectrum you happen to fall on! Service has always been friendly and quick. I've tried numerous pies here and they've all been very good to excellent. The calzone is a nice way to go if you're with someone- split a pie and a calzone! My main complaint isn't food related, but rather the beer list. In this day and age, and in this particular location, there is no excuse for such a lackluster beer list. All in all, fornino is a great spot and well worth a visit!

Best wood fired pizza I've had in Brooklyn!! I don't eat dairy and they have plenty of options. I usually get the basic marinara pie and add anchovies and arugula but they offer vegan cheese as well. I've only gotten take out but definitely want to eat at the restaurant someday and try some of their more creative pies. I feel so lucky this is in my neighborhood!

One of the best pizzas I had in USA. The place is amazing and good vibe. Service is 5 starts. Totally recommend!

Ordered take out! We picked up two pies and were impressed by how quickly our order was ready (Al Roker and Pera e Coppa). The pies were good and I'd say it's a decent price point for the small, however they were both extremely salty. It was to the point where we couldn't really discern the difference in flavor between the two. A little disappointing, but maybe it was an off day! I'd give it another try- just not sure I can handle the salt overload.

Probably some of the best pizza I've ever had!! It was Valentine's Day and all the pizzas were heart shaped!! And what was even better was the service. Holy shit our waiter was amazing and so kind! Love this place they made vday so special!

I have been thinking about this pizza since I left. Literally EVERY DAY. I was fortunate enough to attend an event here for Yelp and my God, they SPOILED us. I must have had 20 slices of pizza. The location is gorgeous. The high ceilings and the mozzarella bar and wood fired oven that greet you when you walk in, reminds you that you are about to have a great authentic meal. Neapolitan pizza is one of my absolute favs and I rave about Roberta's every chance I get. But I think I've found a new favorite spot. Tons of seating for groups. So many pizza options. The meatier ones and the spicy honey ones were PHENOMENAL. The wine list is ridiculous and while $17 for a personal pizza may be pricy to some, but it's absolutely worth every bite. Go with a group, order a few different pizzas, split some wine and be loud, be merry and be full. On a side note- Chef Michael has put his heart and soul into every detail of this place and it shows. The hospitality is unreal. His glass blown art is phenomenal and the detail to every bite is ABSOLUTELY EPIC.

I had my pizza to-go, heat loss is very sad for pizza, so take the review with a grain of salt... but after a brief reheat under the broiler, my pie was a chewy, char-crusted, well-rounded treat. The personal pie was had, in my opinion, the right amount of toppings and a nice, balanced sauce. The interior was also very nice, with what looked like a Chihuly installation, and the service was friendly. Good place to eat in. Interested in trying more of their menu.

Solid enough Italian fare, although unremarkable. The accompanying pictures with notes generally tell the tale. In short, service was okay - although the waitress forgot my dining partner's two main items. Other than that, aces. We started with the appetizer board, which had a bit of all the apps they offer. The eggplant caponata, mixed olives, and artichokes, respectively, were the stars in my opinion. The side salad was not as good as the sum of its parts, mainly, I think, because it was improperly dressed. Simple arugula salads are best dressed with extra virgin olive oil, Kosher salt, and a bit of fresh squeezed lemon juice. The pizza was super-thin with good flavor, and sufficiently charred. I am, for anyone that knows me, a fan of proper pizza char / burn, of course. The outside dining in the back was nice, on a beautiful day, as well. Would I seek this joint out? Probably not. Would I pop in if I was nearby? Probably yes. All in all, a solid place, just not outstanding / exceptional, if that makes sense. ;-)
