"A luxurious hotel in New Orleans offering special Mardi Gras experiences, including a dramatic floral installation, parade viewing passes, and a unique King Cake." - William O'Connor
"Ducking into the swank Four Seasons New Orleans on Mardi Gras Day is a fine idea if you aren’t on a budget and need a dose of pampered civility. Have a drink at the James Beard-nominated Candelier Bar, get some raw oysters and steak frites at Donald Link’s Chemin à la Mer or a whole fried chicken at Miss River from Alon Shaya. Both restaurants are serving the regular menus." - Beth D’Addono
"The formerly-derelict World Trade Center at the riverside end of Canal and Poydras Streets is enjoying a new, high-end lease of life thanks to a $530 million investment by The Four Seasons group. Consistently high standards are an expected hallmark of any Four Seasons property, and their New Orleans outpost is certainly no exception. Floor-to-ceiling windows grace both the city and river-view rooms, all replete with white oak fixtures and a stylish mid-century modern look. The white Carrara marble bathrooms are memorably chic, and above each bed there’s a delightful plaster wall relief of magnolia flowers. I’ll make the case that these are the smartest-dressed hotel staff in town, with their fitted blue tunics and Panama hats, while the Chandelier Bar has quickly become one of the most memorable watering holes in New Orleans—its showstopping eponymous chandelier a gleaming cascade of some 15,000 crystals." - Paul Oswell
"The 2021 opening of Four Seasons New Orleans made the Big Easy, which has long been a top dining destination, even more enticing. Two of the city’s most beloved chefs have set up shop here: Alon Shaya whips up refined versions of New Orleans classics at Miss River — the fried chicken is a fan favorite — while Donald Link’s Chemin à la Mer adds French flourishes to local dishes." - Katie Chang
"The Four Seasons opened in 2021 in a riverside tower that was built in 1968 by modernist architect Edward Durell Stone. It underwent a $500 million transformation resulting in 341 rooms and 92 residences." - Jenny Adams
