Fritto Misto

Went there with my best friend for her birthday 🎂 It was amazing! The waiter Matthew was very knowledgeable in cocktails and super welcoming. We ordered the combo platter and chicken pasta- such a big portion! The combo platter had many different kinds of veggies and seafood. The chicken pasta was creamy and juicy. Chocolate flourless cake was our dessert - super rich! Drinks were affordable and nice. The bread was the only thing that I wouldn’t recommend… a bit dry … Would definitely come back again.🤩

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to and I've been to some amazing places - Nostrana in Portland, Carmines in Bellevue to just name a couple. Ordered the Frito Mistook for appetizers, because they did name the restaurant after this dish and it did not disappoint. It was perfect, came out hot, not greasy but crunchy on the outside and juicy on the vegetables and seafood. We ordered the garlic shrimp and the artichoke shrimp gnocchi. All the pasta was handmade, the portions was incredibly generous. When they said garlic shrimp, they made sure you got a ton of shrimp. Pasta was cooked to al dente, the texture, the bite and chew was perfect. The gnocchi was really good too, loved the sauce though be warned it could be a little sour because of the artichoke but I loved it. Finally we ordered the tiramisu to share and again perfect fluff and right amount of sweetness. We also got a slice of chocolate cake on the house and it was very rich. I had a smile on my face the entire lunch, after leaving the restaurant, the flight back to Seattle, and in fact I'm still smiling right now as I write this review.

Well.... It could've been better. Food was okay. They brought us cold bread and cold butter 🤢, they forgot my appetizer and didn't even apologize for it not coming. They interrupted our way by asking us to move for a party of twenty and promised a dessert 🎂, which is exactly what they gave a party of 3, ONE, dessert. Creme Brulee was ice cold 🥶. Never expected that. Unfortunately, I Probably will not return.

In A Nutshell: -Fritto Misto in downtown Santa Monica is outstanding! -If you are looking for a wonderful Italian restaurant that is priced right w/ healthy portions & great tasting food, then this is it. -I loved their Calamari, which were made perfectly, very hot & moist inside w/ the right amount of crispiness outside - no rubbery feel! -I highly recommend their Atomic Pasta, which consists of two Cajun seared chicken breasts on a tasty bed of New Mexico chili linguini. -Their super popular item, which is the Short Rib Ravioli was drenched w/ mouthwatering chipotle chili cream sauce that had mushrooms, caramelized onions & tips of steak! Overall, this place is one of the few businesses in downtown that always has people inside every time I walk by & for good reason - their food & service are both TOP-NOTCH!!

I visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday with friends after the Getty Center trip. I ordered lobster and shrimp ravioli and jumble ravioli, black and white spaghetti, and Misto salad. The salad is fresh and healthy, with fresh veggies on walnuts and pine nuts. The black-and-white spaghetti tastes out of the world! The Ravioli are good too. The Challenging part is parking. It's really hard to park on the street. I tried for a while then went to the restaurant to ask their employee, one gentleman told me to go across the street and park at the Santa Monica Public Library, you can pay 3 dollars to park there. I'm going to take my family next week to the Getty center and then visit this place again. I

Great experience & food! Upon walking in, we were greeted immediately by 2 busy waiters. Staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. Gluten goat cheese pasta was fabulous and super tasty, added chicken. Also had chicken alfredo & ricotta pillows as an appetizer. We were given a gluten-free chocolate cake that was delish! We'll be returning.

Good food. Borderline of wow quality. But the dish my SO got wasn't impressive. We both did build your own pasta, but we'll try ones from the menu next time. Adequate service. I'd definitely back when I'm around, but I cannot travel more than 20 minutes for this restaurant,

Food here was terrific. Portions are HUGE. Caesar Salad was terrific, Chicken Masala delicious and plentiful. Loved this restaurant. Recommended.
