16 of Seattle’s Most Perfect Bakeries

"A favorite for its fusion of French, American, and Japanese flavors and techniques, Fuji has a shop in the Chinatown-International District as well as this flagship bakery in Interbay. The yeast-raised crunchy cream doughnut is probably the most popular item, for good reason, but you should sample as many savory and sweet options as possible to appreciate the breadth of styles, from beef curry buns to ube custard-filled malasadas." - Eater Staff, Harry Cheadle

Google
LOVE LOVE LOVE this bakery!!! Croissants are flaky, donuts and malasadas are fluffy; they have both sweet and savory options. Such a good mix and fusion of Japanese and French pastries. I discovered my love for canales at this bakery…it’s almost like a hand-held crème brûlée; with a slight crunch to the outside with gooey eggy deliciousness inside! Yummmmmm!! And love their ube malasadas here❤️

Google
Creamy, fluffy, chewy, yummy, incredible! Crunchy cream malasada, egg salad sando, ham & cheese croissant, jumbo cream puff, and hojicha latte were the standout stars. Ham & cheese sando comes cold but I toasted it at home and that was great, I love the mustard. If you love pastry cream, this is your home. Will be back to try special occasion cakes and curry beef bun which was sold out!

Google
Nice to-go spot for baked goods — plenty of sweet and savoury options! Our favourites were the beef curry bun and pear danish (5/5). The ham and cheese croissant was good, but a little over baked, very little filling, and would’ve been better warm but the staff didn’t offer to heat it up (3/5). The malasadas are also good, but you have to be prepared for a lot of sugar and mess (5/5). Usually a line up, but it moves pretty quickly. Limited seating in the cafe and in the middle of an industrial area.

I’ve had this place saved for a long time and finally got to try it out! I got a matcha malasada, beef curry, and an apple croissant. Everything I got was so tasty! Definitely going to come back.😋♥️

Google
Fuji Bakery is a gem for anyone craving fresh, delicious pastries with a Japanese twist and French flavors! The bakery offers an impressive selection of perfectly baked goods, from flaky croissants to soft, pillowy buns filled with delightful fillings. The malasadas and whole cakes are standout, and their cream puffs are simply irresistible. They thrive not just in desserts but also in savory treats from focaccias to veg filled croissant. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a quiet moment, and the service is always friendly and fast in-spite of queues. It’s a bit of a treat, but totally worth going again and again.

Google
Bakery is amazing. Egg salad is delicious, best ever. Coffee has always been a miss. It's fine if you absolutely need it but don't buy coffee here unless you have too

Jeri S

Google
amazing baked goods. highly recommend the milk sticks, curry buns, and TBH most of the rest of the menu too. unlike the CID location, this one always seems to have enough curry buns in stock! :) my only real complaint about this place is the location: the road is very busy and there is no shade on the sidewalk. when the line is long enough to go outside or if you're wanting to leave a dog at one of the small tables while you grab your pastries or drinks --- it's gonna be hot in the summer, wet the rest of the year, and very loud year round.

Google
Perfect marriage of Japanese (perfection, presentation) and French (taste, texture) in a surprisingly modest location. Incredibly appetizing pastries, unusual ingredients and recipes - everything about this place is a treat. Hardly any room to dine-in, so plan on takeout.

Yelp
Great little bakery! Also ordered a matcha latte and vanilla latte alternative milks available friendly staff and excellent treats

Yelp
Its solid, and has some interesting pastries you don't find elsewhere (the crunchy creme malasada is a favorite). I have to call them out on the classic bakery sin of putting almost no chocolate in their chocolate pastries (see picture). That's always a big let down, and I really wouldn't recommend any of their chocolate stuff.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! In one very short word - YUM! In no particular order: Strawberry Shortcake Milk Sticks Ube Malasada Crunchy Cream Malasada Ham & Cheese Croissant (warm it up in the oven when you get it home) PS: the earlier you get there, the better (parking-wise).

Yelp
Note that the parking lot is a little small and difficult to exit if other cars are coming in! At first I was very disappointed because I arrived 45 minutes before they closed, dreaming of an iced matcha, only to be told they were already done serving drinks for the day. There were not many pastries left in the case, but I opted for a s'mores croissant and it knocked my socks off. The croissant was flaky and the chocolate filling was to die for. I had the second half the next morning and it was still perfectly flaky! Perfect ratio of croissant to filling. I came back another time so I could finally get my matcha latte, which was delicious. I also tried the beef curry bun which I loved as well as the matcha cruffin. The cruffin wasn't my favorite as the frosting a tad sweet for my taste but I've loved everything else!

Yelp
My favorite place for pastries.. very good and freshly baked pastries. The staff are very nice..

Yelp
The pineapple coconut cake is absolutely delicious! I sampled several flavors for a friends birthday cake, and the pineapple coconut wins! It's light and so flavorful with small chunks of fresh pineapple

Yelp
Delicious food, fast and friendly staff. We finally tried Fuji Bakery after hearing about it from multiple people and it did not disappoint. We went at 2pm on a Saturday and I was worried the selection would be greatly picked over (as is the case for many bakeries) but they still had a ton of selection and there was no line. We got our items to go. There are a few tables outside where you could sit, but given the location right off a very busy road, I would say you are better off grabbing some items and then heading to a nearby park in Magnolia, Queen Anne or along the water for better ambiance while you eat. We ordered multiple items including the Ube Malasada (my favorite item overall), Matcha Cruffin, Beef Curry, Chicken Katsu Sando, Bacon Cheese Braid and a Blueberry Lemon Curd Croissant. I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was! The bread tasted so fresh and the flavors were strong. To top it all off, their prices are very reasonable. The only downside is we did not visit this place sooner since moving here as this is for sure to become a regular go-to place for us. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had to make a stop here before my flight out to Chicago! This bakery was recommended to me by so many locals, and I get the hype. I arrived right when they opened at around 7:00-7:30AM, and there was already a line of people placing orders. There are so many interesting baked goods to choose from, but I had my heart set on the Ube and Matcha Malasadas. I also decided to try their Egg-Sando, Cannelé, and Beef Curry. They also serve drinks, so I decided to go with a cappuccino for the vibes. Here are my thoughts - 1. Ube and Matcha Malasadas - the brioche donut was really tasty, but the fillings were a miss. I didn't get much flavor out of the ube or matcha. I just wish the flavors were a bit more powerful. 3/5 2. Beef Curry - delicious! The star of the show. The Japanese bread crumb was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef filling was extremely flavorful and generous. 5/5 3. Egg-Sando - I've been spoiled by San Francisco's Japanese restaurants, and that might have been the culprit to my disappointment. The sando was extremely different than the original egg sandwich. It honestly felt like I was eating a mayonnaise sandwich. Sadly, it was a miss! 1/5 4. The Cannelé was so good! I haven't tried anything like it before, but it was truly delicious. 5/5 Overall, I loved Fuji Bakery! This place is now on my list of MUST-GO places whenever I'm in the Seattle area. Glad I made the last minute stop. ~Till next time!

Yelp
Beautifully made fresh baked pastries that are inspired by French and Japanese cooking. We tried one of each of the tarts and a savory ham and cheese pastry and it was all very good. The service was very quick and friendly although the place was busy and with only two working at the time. There's only a large waiting bench inside, although there's some tables if you're brave enough to sit outside with warm pastries on a Seattle morning. The cappuccino I had also was tasty and went down smooth. Slightly pricey but not as bad as some places in downtown Seattle.

Yelp
Pros: One of the best bakery in Seattle. We've been here several times and tried the savory and sweet items. There were a few items that stood out. I don't like overly sweet pastries and prefer the french technique...more flaky and buttery. Items we usually order: cream puffs, ube donut, crunchy donut, butter twist, egg sandwich, and beef curry. Cons: all the Eastside locations are closed. We also didn't care for the Russian tea cookies. They were on the dry side.

Yelp
Definitely coming back to try more! The ube malasada was a delight, perfect ratio of dough to filling and was so fluffy and delicious. The milk stick was fun, the buttercream inside had a wonderful taste but the milk bread was a bit tougher for my preferences. Apple pie croissant excellent, the apples were so flavor forward. Also had very convenient parking nearby!

Yelp
I used to love eating here and have recently gone to both locations planning on picking up a few items. You no longer have posted prices, a menu or even a QR code. I am expected to have the cashier stop what they are doing and answer my questions. This is not a customer friendly user experience. I need to be able to look at what is available and then plan my order accordingly. Please help out an undecided slowpoke. Please POST Something that I can look at. I want to spend money with you.

Yelp
Fuji Bakery is a popular Japanese bakery in Interbay. Constant customers file in to try their amazing goodies. Very relaxed ambiance. I stopped by to check on the possibility of getting my wedding cake from there. I had to purchase a $30 cake bc they don't sell slices and let's just say the fiance and I were not thrilled at all, likely due to personal preference. The typical baked goods I know are phenomenal and the sandwiches too. Be prepared to spend some money if you buy a few items bc this place is not cheap. Everything is so pretty though. On this visit we tried the strawberry cake, an onion tart, a passion fruit tart and a spinach and egg quiche. We liked all the other items except the cake unfortunately. It was really dense and heavy, not what I expected from this popular spot. We're still looking for our cake.

Yelp
Amazing selection! I loved everything we had and I wanted to buy even more! The staff is super efficient and friendly in helping folks get in and out pretty quick. It's dog friendly as long as your pup is well-behaved and comfortable with a bit of a crowd. We came later than we meant to and were worried the selection would be limited but they still had pretty much everything even though it was close to noon. Mostly a grab and go location though they have a few small tables and chairs outside and a bench inside. I'd recommend taking your stuff across to the park!

Yelp
Atmosphere: 4/5 We went Sunday morning and there was a line full of people (but it didn't exceed outside the store). It went by relatively fast. We actually appreciated the line because it gave us adequate time to look at the pastry case. It's definitely a take and go kind of place - not much seating and definitely not the type of place where you can sit and do work. We also noticed that they just had an "Okay" food safety rating - we were indifferent about it but something to note if that's important to you. Service: 4/5 Service was good, considering a lot of other bakeries consist of people who often seem like they don't want to be there. She was friendly. Food: 4/5 Everything was great! We got an almond croissant, cinnamon roll cruffin, and a crunchy cream. The croissant was good, nice and crispy, but doesn't beat Bakery Noveau's twice baked almond croissant. My boyfriend really enjoyed the cruffin and crunch cream. It wasn't mind blowing but definitely a solid place to get baked goods. They also have drinks you can order. We noticed that all the pastries we got weren't crazy sweet, which I know a lot of Asians can appreciate. So, if you have a major sweet tooth, you might think these aren't sweet enough (perhaps the other items are sweeter?). We paid around $13-14 for 3 pastries including tip - good price. Location: 4/5 Haven't been to the Chinatown one, but the Interbay location was great - small parking lot off to the side but it fills up quick. There's often easy street parking though in the front. This location is a pretty random location so I would not say it's easily commutable unless you're driving by car.

Yelp
Love this spot! It's taken me so long to finally try it out, but it sure didn't disappoint. Unassuming building right off the road, but extremely clean and full of treats. We got the chicken katsu sandwich (on delicious white bread), beef curry pastry, ube malasada, and bacon & cheddar roll. The chicken katsu sandwich hit the spot especially warmed up at home! The beef curry was flavorful, savory, and sweet. Ube malasada was packed full, and delightful. Cant wait to come back and try some more! ALSO this place has really good drip coffee.

Yelp
I think this is my all-time favorite bakery in Seattle. I've only been here a handful of times, but each time I come I'm already thinking about the next time I'll be going back. I'm literally salivating as I'm typing this. The lines can get long, especially on the weekends, but it moves pretty quickly, and you can also order online if you don't want to wait. In terms of the pastries themselves, they're the ultimate *chef's kiss*. The croissants are buttery and flakey, the malasadas are bursting with creamy filling, and the danishes crumble in your mouth. The only thing I'd recommend skipping out on are the sandwiches. I've tried the katsu and egg salad ones, and both are kind of dry unfortunately. Oh, and the jalapeño cheddar braid tastes kind of stale, like something you'd find in the clearance section of Safeway. But otherwise!! Ultimate chef's kiss!! I recommend Fuji Bakery (both their Interbay and ID locations) to everyone, and I definitely would recommend it to you!!

Sarah Z.

Yelp
I love their pastries -- both the savory + sweet ones! Oh, and their pork katsu sando! The first time I ever had their kare-pan was magical. I watched them bring out a new batch and decided to change my order to that. They tasted like they had just been taken out of the fryer -- so warm and perfect. I would NOT recommend their iced matcha latte because it's [too] sweet and also the matcha is potentially of a lower quality as the color of the drink is always a lighter green vs a vivid green. I've given it a few tries to see if it was a fluke and it isn't something I'd ever order there again. It doesn't even taste like matcha.

Celine T.

Yelp
We pre ordered some croissants for our friends And just to find out the croissants were burnt. It's so embarrassing for us to serve this and I can't believe they sold us burned pastries.

A. I.

Yelp
I visited this bakery shortly after it opened, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The young female employee who helped me seemed unfriendly from the start. When I asked for an ube malasada for two separate orders, there was a misunderstanding, and she thought I wanted two of each flavor. She handled my order roughly, tossing it into the basket. I tried to clarify at least three times that I only wanted one ube malasada per order, but it didn't seem to help. At checkout, she asked twice, in a firm and agitated tone, if I needed anything else, even after I told her "no." While I understand mornings can be challenging, it felt unprofessional, as if she was indirectly blaming me for the misunderstanding. Even the customer next to me appeared uncomfortable with how I was treated. This experience has made me hesitant to return to this location. Additionally, the parking lot is quite small, with limited spaces, and it's difficult to exit with cars passing by quickly.

Yelp
A very full place to pick up a breakfast pastry and a coffee, as we did one day during our visit to Seattle. We'd love to return sometime.

Yelp
As a returning customer, I'm truly disappointed by the disorganization and management. I've pre-ordered over the phone multiple times and had no complications with the Chinatown location. But at the Elliot location, the manager blamed me for their mistake. In the end, I got my refund 4 months later and am now banned from ordering in the future. The details: On 8/15, I called to place an order on a whole soufflé cheesecake for pickup on 8/17. I was told I could come by anytime before 5pm to pick up the cake, so I showed up at 4pm. When I asked for my order and provided my email receipt, they were unable to locate the cake or the ticket. They had a bunch of pink sticky notes placed on the wall as their system. After further searching, they found my ticket written for pickup on 8/17, placed in the 8/24 pile (the next Thursday). My cake wasn't ready so the manager came out and explained she would prepare one on the spot but I'd need to wait 2-3 hours for it to defrost. That was no problem for me since it was 4pm and we were probably going to have the cake after dinner. I also had no options to pick up a cake elsewhere in time for the birthday celebration. While I waited, she offered me a drink on the house, which I thought was a nice gesture. We even made small talk while she customized the birthday note. Everything was fine until it was 7:30pm and most of the cake's center was still frozen. The next day, I called to let her know it was still frozen. She apologized and said she was unable to refund the amount back to my card but was able to add reward points to my account/ phone number. I happily agreed since I could easily order a cake within 6 months (reward stars expire after 6 months). On 12/26, 4 months later, I called to confirm the credit was in my account as I was ready to make a cake order. I found out only 8 points were credited to my account (10 points = $5 off). I told the staff I'd call back in a few minutes after checking the refund wasn't processed to my card. After confirming it wasn't refunded, I called back and the same staff said, "I have no idea what you're talking about. Hold." Very unprofessional. After a few minutes, I was happy to hear the voice of the manager. I explained the situation and she says she remembers. I asked about my refund and she explained the 8 stars added to my account was it. This wasn't my understanding and there was clearly some sort of miscommunication. I expressed I'd still like my full refund and she blamed me for picking up the cake on 8/17. She said if I didn't take the cake (that I ordered for pickup on 8/17), then she could've refunded me. But since I walked out with the cake, it was on me. I clarified that we had the cake 3 hours later (as instructed by her) and it was still frozen. She kept saying, "In our experience, that is not possible." She showed no signs of sympathy and pushed the fault onto me the entire time. In the end, she lost patience and processed a refund to my card. She added, "you will no longer be able to place orders in the future." I'm now banned from ordering all because of their own disorganization! If my cake was ready for pickup, there would've been no problem. I've had the same soufflé cheesecake multiple times soon after picking it up and they were ready to eat. I'm extremely disappointed and don't recommend pre-ordering cakes.

Yelp
Super tasty pastries. Very fresh. Fillings are over the top! How have o not found you before now!? Not pricey at all!!
google avatar

Meralina M.

Yelp
They have such a variety of flavors here and everything is amazing! By far my favorite thing I've had is the match filling in the malasada. The katsu sandwich is also pretty filling and a good portion size as well! The staff is pretty nice and helpful as well :) They do have a very small parking lot that fits max 10 cars but there is usually ample street parking, but be careful it is a very busy main road.
google avatar

Barbara K.

Yelp
I had never been here, but was craving a good croissant close by, and stopped in. Parking lot was full, but on Sunday there was street parking. The croissants were excellent! Perfectly executed, perfect example of a fabulous croissant. Cappuccino was good too. Now I"ll have to go back for the more unusual pastries!
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
My kids and I come to Fuji every Sun morning for their ube malasadas. It's become a tradition. We get the donuts and go sit at Whole Foods to eat them. That's the one thing I wish they had inside--seating! There are some tables outside but they're on a very loud busy street so not ideal with two small kiddos. The staff is always friendly and we go early to avoid the line--before 8:30am. We recently also got a chocolate croissant and it was pretty amazing as well. I mean everything is so good--breakfast items and desserts and cakes. It's so hard to not want to get everything when I'm here!

Yelp
Fuji bakery has a wide variety of sweet and savory japanese french treats. I came here for the matcha cruffin, which I thought was a unique pastry that I haven't really seen anywhere else. A mix between a croissant and muffin, the texture was flaky and soft. I really enjoyed it, although the matcha flavor was a little sweet. Similarly, the matcha and lilikoi malasadas were also on the sweeter side. But I really like how fluffy their malasadas are and how they are generously filled with crème. My favorite was the ube malasada; the ube flavor was really good and not too sweet. I've also tried their regular coffee latte, matcha latte and hojicha latte. The coffee flavor in the latte was pretty good. I thought both the matcha and hojicha lattes could have been stronger, but I enjoyed how creamy they were. Overall, I think Fuji Bakery is a good place to try if you're looking for a treat. They have a lot of different options and their prices aren't too bad considering it's a specialty bakery. The staff is also very friendly and parking is fairly easy - there's a small lot but there's usually street parking right on front of the building. I'll definitely come back to try some of their other pastries!

Yelp
In our recent trip to Seattle area we went back to Fuji bakery 3 times (once to this location, and twice to the Kings St location). I grew up in Japan and I am always in search for good shokupan (Japanese milk bread). Fuji's shokupan is legit, and I ate it daily while there and bought few more packs to take back with me. They also have different malasada, and my favourite was the passion fruit. I also liked their various French style pastries. The service was attentive, and very helpful.
google avatar

Salina P.

Yelp
So many things to love about this place! Every day they have such a large variety of items in their selection that I always end up over ordering for myself lol. My favorites here are definitely the cinnamon roll cruffin and the beef curry buns. The service here is pretty prompt and parking can be difficult sometimes because the lot is very tight and it's located on a busy street.
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
YUMMY! Finally dropped by here for an afternoon snack! It's located right off Elliott Ave so thank goodness there's a mini parking lot right next to it. It's a pretty small shop with no seating, only two tables outside to sit at. They have coffee, teas, and an ample selection of pastries. We got a few to try - liliko malasada, blueberry lemon curd croissant, and everything bread. The doughnut was pretty small but very fluffy and the filling was smooth and flavorful. I loved the everything bread! It was airy inside and the everything flavor was so strong! It's exactly what I needed for a savory snack. Definitely coming here again!
google avatar

Dina P.

Yelp
I was blown away on how good French Japanese pastries can be. I honestly cannot remember what I got except donuts, stuffed tarp donut, and some caramelized pastry. I practically inhaled all of it because it was that good. The service was quick and it's cute inside. I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Fuji Bakery is a local favorite to grab some Japanese pastries and sandwiches in Seattle. They have a couple locations throughout Seattle and I am glad there was one nearby! There is a variety of sweet and savory options, I had a hard time limiting myself on what to get. However, I definitely recommend the Malasada, which was a sweet tooth delight. I also enjoyed the egg sandwich, which looks really good, as you can see.
google avatar

Yelp
Curry bun and Malasada anyone? Yes, please! Fuji Bakery is a nice spot to get tasty ones so don't miss out if you can. Though it's further away from me, I'd happily tread up that way again. I also found this location's distinctive magenta / pink building hard to miss. The angled parking is a bit difficult to maneuver though so be prepared to do some mindful backing up. We arrived on a Sat afternoon so most of their popular items were already sold out. The staff was friendly and nice. We ultimately ordered a latte, beef curry bun, ube and passion fruit malasada. I'd skip their lattes altogether though - the coffee flavor was too light and a little watery. However, the baked goods is definitely where it's at! The ube was one of my favorites - - distinctive, tasty filling that had a good amount of ube sweetness. The passionfruit flavor was a bit too light though. My suggestion to Fuji Bakery next time: Pump up that passionfruit flavor. A little extra passion doesn't hurt anyone. Overall, I give this Fuji Bakery location 4 stars. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Yelp
Yum yum pastries. All around delicious treats. I love the berry croissants, plain croissant, and the mini croissant. Great service too. The strawberry round 6" cakes are also great for gatherings.

Yelp
this place is cute and quick if you need a grab and go bite. however, i dont feel like it was anything special. the coffee was standard while the pastries didnt stand out to me. i liked that the fillings werent too sweet but the distribution inside the pastries was uneven so i had to break off the bread and dip it the filling.

Yelp
I've been to the international district Fuji Bakery many times. This one is right off Elliot Ave with a small parking lot and some street parking. This is a larger location. Ordered a must have curry beef bun that is perfectly crispy and yet a chewy dough. The curry beef has lots of flavor. Also ordered an Ube Malasada and a Passion Fruit Malasada. The Ube filling was amazing great Ube flavors. The passion fruit was good but wish a little bit more flavor. Great bakery and would come back.
google avatar

Savannah M.

Yelp
Fuji is one of my favorite bakeries in Seattle. Their malasaladas are their standout items, you have to try the ube!
google avatar

Goos Y.

Yelp
Small parking lot but street parking available. There was a line but it move quick. I got an egg sando and ask them to box 1 of each of the malasadas to carry home. Sando was pretty good. It's more cream than what I'm use to in an egg salad sandwich but I liked it. Only tried the Lilikoi malasada( passion fruit) so far but it was tasty and not too sweet. Thumbs up. Recommend stopping by if your in the area or just look for cream fill that are alittle but different flavor wise. Also staff was professional in taking my pastry/drink order.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Both the bread items and savory items I tried were just so-so. The sweets are really what I'd recommend going for at Fuji Bakery. I ordered the Maple Bacon Cruffin, Mustard Bacon Epi, Olive Stick, Lilikoi Malasada, and Pear Croissant. The Mustard Bacon Epi and Olive Stick were a bit too hard/tough in texture, but I thought it was worth trying. My favorite thing I ordered was the Pear Croissant. It was light and flakey with a nice amount of pear topping the dessert. Friendly, welcoming service. I'm glad I made a stop here while visiting Seattle.
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
I got the Ube donut and crunchy crème which were both super good. I liked how easy it was to order at the window too. Only thing is the price is a bit high, for about $4 a donut and they were pretty small. But overall definitely worth trying.

Yelp
Excellent choices for sweet bakery treats. Pricey. Good service. Tight space not sure if there is a place to sit. Overall, highly recommend.

Yelp
We ordered so much from here because we couldn't decide what to get. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is the spot for you! The pastries are so unique and the different flavors were so good. We got one of each malasada (lilikoi, ube, matcha, crunchy cream) and they were all so delicious. Their croissants were so flaky and soft. I definitely wish we could have ordered more because there were just too many fun pastries I wanted to try. My only slight downside about this place is that the pastries were cold when we got them, which honestly didn't matter too much because the sweet stuff were so good regardless. However we ordered like a savory curry pastry which we did kind of wish it was warmed.

Yelp
Best bakery in town! I love their malasadas, usually snag the ube one. Their crunchy cream is my favorite, has more texture on the outside than malasadas. Milk stick is also another go to! Try to come earlier in the day, they sometimes run out of things by late afternoon.

Yelp
Take my money!!! I'm obsessed with this bakery. Every time I find myself in this area, I always beg my partner to pull over so we can get some pastries for the day. I've had their lilikoi malasada, ube malasada, blueberry lemon curd croissant, yuzu tart, tiramisu, cheesecake... I forget to take pictures because I'm too busy eating all of it, oops! Everything so far has been amazing!!

Yelp
This place is a pretty good bakery. Everything we tried was good and I would give their croissant a solid B rating. Their Japanese cheesecake was kind of average and didn't have the airy texture that they're known for. Their malasadas were pretty good and the ube and passion fruit flavors came across clearly to my surprise. The malasadas are the only thing I would recommend for others to try in my opinion. But overall nothing tasted bad and everything was good quality. I wouldn't mind returning and trying more of their baked goods.

Yelp
Located on a strip near the water! The pastries here are unique and incredible. The pastry and cold case are set up in a very inviting way and there is almost too much to choose from - there are plenty of savoury and sweet options, as well as sandwiches for lunch. You can pre-order on their online website. This is a location apart from the downtown one. We came on a Saturday around noon and we had JUST beat the crowd as a large line formed behind us before we ordered. A couple tables outside to sit at and enjoy. Drink: Matcha Latte - This was very gritty and overly sweet, definitely came from a pre-made matcha mix. I wasn't a fan but some people may be! Pastries: -Ham & Cheese Croissant ($5.95): Dense, buttery, flaky, absolutely delicious and PACKED with filling. I just wish they had taken the time to toast it though it seemed busy. -Other pastries ordered: Ube Malasada ($3.95), Crunchy Cream Malasada ($3.95), Almond Croissant ($4.95), and this bacon cheese stick I very much want to try their egg salad sando next time that looked amazing!! Staff was pretty pushy and rushed us through :( I get that it was busy though.

Yelp
Went here yesterday and tried the Ube Malasada and the Crunchy Vanilla Custard Malasada. They both were absolutely delicious. Welcoming and friendly service. Also ordered a Vanilla Latte that was also delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
A true seattle staple - you can find many of Fuji's delights around cafes in Seattle. I am always delighted whenever I see the crunchy cream donut at a cafe (must try). I pass this bakery quite often but it was my first time stopping in this location. Got the lilikoi malasada, ham & cheese croissant, and americano for breakfast. Malasada was perfection with the delightfully tangy lilikoi filling. It was decadent and I wished I had gotten the ube flavor as well. The ham and cheese croissant wasn't really much of a croissant but rather more of a panini sandwich thing - disappointing and should have gotten the curry beef pan instead. Lessons learned. Americano was delightful and picked me up for the rest of the day. All in all, great service and loved seeing the goodies all in the case.

Yelp
Yeah so ummmm....this is delicious. The chocolate almond croissant is one of the best things I've put in my mouth. Also had the cream danish and lilikoi malasada. I ate these while walking along the waterfront as crows dive bombed my face trying to steal a tasty bite. They were worth the fight!
