Fuji Speedway Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

This place is absolutely incredible! Hands down one of the best hotels I've ever been to! There are several amazing car enthusiast experiences to take in during your stay, as well as touristy type activities. I recommend the driving experiences and wandering through the museum. We chose a room facing the track and it was awesome waking up and being able to see various events from our balcony. I will definitely visit again!

We would return here in a heartbeat ! Our stay at the hotel was nothing but extraordinary. It is easily one of the most unique hotels we have experienced in Japan. From the moment we arrived, the sense of place was unmistakable. With a full speedway track, a museum of legendary Formula One cars and a view of Mount Fuji. Our room itself was a dream. The view of Mount Fuji was simply breathtaking and we are still lost for words when we think back to it. We woke up early just to watch the mountain in perfect morning visibility and it remains one of our favourite memories of the entire trip. The pjs provided were exceptionally comfortable and plenty of space in the room, with a walk in wardrobe and lots of space for suitcases, this added to the overall sense of indulgence. The reception team were warm, attentive and v helpful. They guided us to the nearby shopping outlets where we had a wonderful time and even picked up plenty of clothes. Inside the hotel, the museum was fascinating but for us the view from our room stood above everything else. We still talk about it all the time because there is truly nothing like watching Mount Fuji from the comfort of your own window. Breakfast was excellent and the yoghurts were a particular favourite. Everything felt refined and well thought out. The only minor downside was the little cafe which had a minimum spend and the staff member at the front was unfortunately rather rude. This did not take away from the overall stay though and remains a very small footnote in an otherwise exceptional experience.

Really enjoyed our relaxing stay here. Standard king room was huge with a nice sitting area with a nice couch, arm chair, and balcony space also has sofa. Love the design touches. Onsen was very relaxing, with both indoor and outdoor bath facing mount Fuji. Gym and pool also very nice. Only funny thing is that there don't seem to be much outdoor grounds as part of hotel. But the surrounding area is generally very quiet but we didn't go out much given the cold weather. Italian restaurant is solid. Had all 3 meals there.

What an amazing surprise. Top-notch hotel could easily fit under the luxury Park Hyatt brand. As a mechanical engineer and car enthusiast, I appreciated all the details in the design of this hotel. Spent over an hour in the automotive museum alone. The views of Mt Fuji on clear days was striking, especially from breakfast hall. Even enjoyed the Onsen to really get into relaxation mode. Amazing stay and I can't wait to come back with my International Driver License so I can experience the track!

This is the best hotel to stay in if you're planning to attend any event at Fuji Speedway, or even if you're just a car enthusiast! The views you get of the track are great, but the ambiance is even better. The rooms and bath area are spacious as well (which is not something you usually see) The hotel also has a spa, pool and gym. The gym also has a racing simulator you can try out. The food at the hotel is delicious, and available for room service (which is perfect when you want to stay and watch races from your balcony) Staff are very professional and respectful, and quite on top of things over all. Everything about Fuji Speedway Hotel is great, there's even a museum to check out while you're there, and also a café facing the track if you wish to have some coffee and pastries. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel 💯

The Fuji Speedway Hotel brought me an unforgettable experience. Located right by the Fuji Speedway with stunning Mount Fuji views, this hotel is perfect for car enthusiasts and travelers seeking luxury. The service was exceptional—staff were kind, friendly, and most spoke excellent English, making communication a breeze for non-Japanese speakers. Check-in was smooth, and the team was always ready to assist with a smile.The rooms were modern and comfortable, offering great views of the racetrack or Mount Fuji. I loved the motorsport-themed touches, like car-inspired decor, which added character without being overdone. The highlight for me was the circuit driving experience near the hotel. For an extra fee (around $100 for three laps, requiring an international driving permit), I got to drive on the track—a thrilling first for someone with no prior circuit experience! It was well-organized and an absolute must for adrenaline junkies.The onsen spa and indoor pool were relaxing, and dining at TROFEO Italian was a treat, with fresh dishes and scenic views. The only downside is the remote location, so a car or the hotel’s shuttle from Gotemba is handy for exploring. Overall, the outstanding service and unique driving experience made this stay memorable.

Wow—what can we say about Hotel Speedway Mount Fuji? Words truly can’t capture how amazing this hotel is! From the moment we arrived, the entrance felt absolutely glorious, and accessing the hotel by car was very easy. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, making our stay even more special. The Fuji Speedway is right next door, and there’s even a shuttle if needed. We tried the go-karts—which were fast and so much fun! Our room was huge, with a spacious shower and bathtub, excellent water pressure, and lovely amenities (including thoughtful extras tucked in the drawers). The balcony offered a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji—something we’ll never forget. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes—everything was delicious. The bonus? More stunning views of Mount Fuji as you enjoyed your meal. We also visited the museum (an extra cost), but you can even catch glimpses of some of the cars while riding the elevators, which was a fun touch. One note: the general area is best for driving, as there’s nothing really within walking distance. All in all, this was our absolute favorite hotel out of the four we stayed in during our trip. We can’t wait to try another high-end Hyatt after this incredible experience!

Will definitely be returning here in the future. Excellent service from the staff, excellent amenities and the rooms are sensational. To wake up and look out at mount Fuji or Fuji raceway is something special. A little dearer than other options, but the quality of the whole experience more than makes up for the price. To top it off, go karting is a short walk, the raceway entry is free for guests and the Fuji Aoto Museum is to die for. Did I mention the MUSEUM!! It is a must do!
