"A boutique, motorsports-focused five-star hotel that opened quietly in fall 2022, offering striking views of the racetrack on one side and Mount Fuji on the other — it’s the first and only hotel to directly overlook the circuit. Although part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, the property maintains a distinct identity with racing woven into its design, from curated artwork made with vehicle parts to a bar whose number matches the circuit length and a headlight-lit lounge with a wall display of hundreds of model race cars. Guests can dine at an on-site Italian restaurant, Trofeo, or at a Japanese-style robata charcoal grill modeled after a racing garage, then retire to one of 120 rooms, suites, or five newly built villas; suites feature wraparound balconies ideal for watching cars from bed, regular rooms have private balconies and large soaking tubs, and villas provide entertaining space plus a fenced grassy yard for pets. Wellness is a major draw: a full spa with a private onsen, six treatment rooms, a sleek pool, a TechnoGym-equipped gym and a custom racing simulator are included, along with seasonal private yoga classes (held inside the museum in winter and on the private rooftop in summer). Practical perks include complimentary breakfast, property credit and potential room upgrades, and rooms start at roughly ¥40,000 per night; the closest major airport is Tokyo Haneda (HND)."
