The 25 Best Restaurants & Bars In Palm Springs - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Gabino’s Creperie is hidden down a tiny side alley off E. Palm Canyon, so don’t get frustrated if it takes you a few tries to find it. Because once you do, you’ll be at one of our favorite quick lunch spots in town. Made with a special blend of chimichurri, cheese, and jalapenos, and filled with everything from chicken caesar to turkey cheddar, these are by no means traditional crepes. Our favorite at the moment is the chicken pesto, but whichever one you get, just be sure to add Nonna’s special sauce on top. It’s made with jalapenos, cilantro, garlic, and olive oil, and takes each crepe to another level." - brant cox

The Best Restaurants in Palm Springs

"The origins of Gabino’s Creperie are a Coachella Valley feel-good story. Palm Springs native Marcel Ramirez started his 2020 pop-up and quickly shifted to a successful brick-and-mortar by preparing his Argentine version of crepes. The result is a thicker crepe griddled with cheese and fillings like Buffalo chicken, chicken with pesto, and more. These are folded into a cone and easily eaten on the go, or at the rear picnic tables. Utilize the latter, as these are best consumed while hot." - Mona Holmes, Eater Staff

Google
Insanely good food. The chicken pesto was so delicious, definitely a recommended crepe. The chicken Caesar and buffalo chicken were also delicious. I have no doubt that everything on the menu is top tier. Guess Guy Fieri brought some attention to this spot and for good reason. Highly recommend.

Google
Gabino's is a required stop when visiting Palm Springs. My go to order is the BBQ + Pickles. The crepe is crispy not soggy and every bite is better than the last! My friend said it was a flavor explosion and she's not wrong. The owner, staff and customers are all so friendly and now that they've expanded their days and hours, there's no excuse not to stop by!

Google
A great spot and we saw plenty of locals. Worth visiting if you're closeby! There is outdoor seating but there lot's of flies when we visited which is why it gets four stars. The crepes are messy, but that's because they're absolutely stuffed which I love. I got the Buffalo Chicken crepe.

Google
Gabinos is located in the alley behind Kreem and offers several delicious savory crepé options. I ordered the chopped cheese for pickup and it was excellent. The service was friendly, the food was hot when I picked it up and packaged well for the car ride. Pick up orders and typically not accepted during peak season - but trust me, Gabino’s is worth the wait!

Google
This was my favorite meal in our entire week in Palm Springs. We went to Farm, Tac/Quila, Alana’s, and a couple other places. It’s easily the best crepe I’ve ever had, though, it is a bit different than the traditional crape with soft and stretchy exterior. The partially crunch yet still pliable exterior is an exceptional vessel for the flavorful inside. Tourists and locals alike will be happy with a visit to Gabino’s. Enjoy!

Google
I was driving my way back from Phoenix I stop by to try this crepes because I see it on tv with Guy Fieri , my opinion 2 stars maybe 1 , it’s not delicious , may be if you don’t have a good food taste o don’t know how to cook delicious food it’s going to be good for you, try it and have you own opinion

Google
Although worth the hype, it’s not someplace I would frequent. So the flavor and taste is overwhelming along with the crepe, obviously. They have an excellent recipe but it can make for a heavy lunch. But after a crepe and drink it came to $25 which seems a bit superfluous just for a hole in the wall lunch. And the back patio can be temperate depending on what time of the year you visit. But like I said, worth a try.

Google
I love this place! The best crepes in the valley! They are also so good about allergies, I have celiac disease and they offer gluten free options but also ask if it’s an allergy or preference which makes me feel so safe eating here. I’ve tried the buffalo chicken, the chicken pesto, and today I got the chicken caesar crepe. It always tastes amazing and fresh, and everyone there is so nice.

Yelp
I am so glad that my friends and I decided to stop by here for a quick lunch because it was delicious. After ordering through the window on the side door of the building, you can wait in the back seating area where there are some picnic tables, but there isnt a lot of seating, compared to how popular this place can be during the day. Lines can be long and wait times can be really long as well, so try to come during off hours. I tried the chicken pesto and chicken caesar and they were both really great. the crisp of the crepe on the edge paired with the softer parts with the filling is the perfect balance!

Yelp
Gabino's Creperie significantly exceeded our expectations food-wise, although it was *very* slow -- we arrived around 2pm but just after a rush and it took 40 minutes to get our food! It's just a small hole-in-the-wall counter with outdoor seats in the back. The bbq chicken was delicious (although yes, it's a bit sweet), the crepe was spongy and surprisingly crunchy in a great way and we loved the crunch of crispy onions, lettuce, and tomato. 4.5 stars rounded down for the wait, but we'll certainly be back!

Yelp
This was a short walk from where we were staying and an amazing find. There is good variety in the menu, even though it is a limited menu. We ordered at the window. They take charge cards, not cash. Through a window, you can watch them make crepes. We sat at a table behind Gabino's and waited for our names to be called (telling us that our order was ready. There is seating in the sun and shade. There is no indoor seating. The crepes were huge, filling, and very delicious! If I lived in Palm Springs, I would eat here regularly! Since we walked to Gabino's, I'm not sure about nearby parking, however, I assume it exists.

Yelp
We have been wanting to come here for quite some time and was able to finally make it, once you could find it, lol. Anyway, the crêpes are everything that they're cracked up to be super super rich flavorful not as light as a French crêpe obviously a savory crêpe and we had the chicken salad that was fantastic.

Yelp
One of my new favorites in Palm Springs! This crepe is the perfect size for a nice lunch. I also had one of their lemonades which was so good! The service was really good the guy taking my order gave me recommendations since it was my first time there. I also didn't wait long for my food. The location is nice I really enjoyed the seating outside it's pretty small but wasn't too cramped. The only problem for me was trying to find parking nearby to get to the Creperie. Other than that I loved this place!

Yelp
Has been wanting to try this place so much since I heard so many good things about the place. I would recommend calling to order ahead of time as wait time can be long. I placed an order through the phone ~35min before getting there and the foods were ready by the time I got there. The place is small but has some sitting tables and chairs in the back. Overall the crepes were delicious. They were very generous with the ingredients. Very fulfilling. Would definitely recommend trying when you are in palm springs
google avatar

Yelp
QUITE LITERALLY... LIFE CHANGING. WOW! I don't think I've ever had a better crepe! Savory, deliciousness in ever bite! It's a small little window in the back that you order. Wait time is about 15-20 mins but worth every minute of wait time! It's behind the ice cream store. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning a little after they opened. Staff was super sweet, letting us know they were running a little behind on orders due to being short staff. However, we honestly didn't wait too long so that was nice. Altho it was super hot outside, the sunshade in the back with misters helped the seating area feel nice. My bestfriend and I both ordered the chicken Cesar Crepe! one of the best spots to eat at in Palm Springs. Hands down. I will be back for it again!!! Drooling just thinking about the crispy and creaminess.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" so wanted to give it a try. Ordered the Chicken Caesar Crepe - so delicious. The service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. They have seating in the patio at the back of the restaurant, and some limited parking as well. We definitely will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little hole in the wall, limited patio seating but the food is fantastic. I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
I was honestly really torn and mentally went between three and four and five. The cute little alleyway, they really did a lot with. The line moved slowly, but the folks at the window were friendly once we were there. The food was delicious but super-greasy, like more than a crepe really should be... pretty messy and we both felt mildly queasy from the oiliness of the crepes later that night. Will definitely go again and see if that was a one-off... but while we both found them to be delicious, the oil really threw us off, and gave us both tummyaches later.

Yelp
soooooo good. the gentlemen at the window are very kind. the crepes can be made GLUTEN FREE. the seating area outside is very cute, small and partially covered. I only got the opportunity to try the GF bbq chicken crepe and I wish I could've ordered all of them to try. Perfectly filling maybe even two bites too much (too good to not finish it). A great after hike lunch. This is a super high recommend for me.

Yelp
Such a fun little hidden spot! Food was absolutely delicious! Customer service was super great!

Yelp
I saw this place had fabulous reviews, but I couldn't understand why. It just didn't look that impressive! Especially the veggie crepe, which just looked like some salad wrapped up. And it turns out that it really is just salad wrapped up. But it's a really good salad wrapped up in a really delicious crepe. The dressing on the greens is magic. So much flavor! And the crepe is chewy and satisfying with a crispy, lacy cheese crust. The combo is irresistible. Just don't be fooled into thinking this is healthy. I came expecting a light lunch, but it was actually super rich. The only downside is the price. $14 for a literal handful of food? But it's tasty enough that I'll pay it. Some things are worth the cost.

Yelp
This was totally worth the drive to Palm Springs! It was quite a wait for these savory crepes, but it's super worth it. I had the chicken pesto, which had a generous amount of chicken paired nicely with tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. I loved how crispy the outer layer of the crepe was and how well the flavors went together. We were fortunate to get the dessert Banana Nutella crepe (limited amount for the day), which was great! With how big the savory crepe is, you can totally get away with sharing the dessert between two. The drinks are also good here. It seemed like natural juice for 5 dollars. Overall, we had a great date here. Keep in mind this place is located in a small alleyway with limited seating. Be also prepared to wait. It's a small business with delicious crepes!
google avatar

Stacy B.

Yelp
I'm extremely disappointed. I've been coming here for couple of years & telling friends and visitors about these amazing crepes. I rarely look at my receipts (bad habit). Today, I realized that Gabino's charges a 3.75% transaction fee on top of sales tax and gratuity. 1) there was no sign - that I saw or discussion that this was the case. 2) There's no other option, but use your credit or debit. So very sad. This was my favorite place. I cannot afford to keep paying for a business's operation expenses. It's getting ridiculous. The crepes are amazing, but getting pricey. Due to their popularity, it's a 20 min. wait for your crepe.

Yelp
We are here visiting PS for a weekend. Had to make a trip to Gabino's as I saw it being recommended and mentioned by so many. Verdict: it did not disappoint!! We came around 2:40pm on a Saturday. No line at all I assumed the rush hour was over and they were about to close shop for 3pm. Food: I got bbq chicken and hubby chicken Caesar. We also asked for jalapeños. The staff who took our order mentioned they no longer put jalapeños in the crepe instead they now just throw on as a topping (which is a must add! It adds so much flavor and the kick kinda offsets the richness) First reaction was how big these are! Huge portions (spoilers I didn't finish mine) which justifies the $15 price. The texture of the Parmesan crisp inside the crepe wow just amazing so unctuous! The bbq chicken was a bit too sweet for me next time I'll try a different one. On the other hand I liked hubby's chicken Caesar better and he gave it 10/10! They did not skimp on the chicken either. Definitely more than I preferred but again hubby loved it. Overall we were very satisfied and impressed. Will definitely come again if we are in PS. Staffs were very friendly. We sat in the back next to the parking lot. It was quiet then so we enjoyed it but I can see during peak hours it'll be a little annoying if a lot cars. But they have a few tables in the alley way as well.

Antonia D.

Yelp
Easy online ordering. As soon as I arrived they had my order delivered to my car! That was so awesome, and the server/chef was very kind. Will be back and recommend! The chicken pesto was delicious Thank you for the great service

Yelp
We were fortunate that Gabino's was located only about a block from our rental. We walked up at about 1:00 on a Wednesday, only one person in line. We received our crepes about 7 minutes after ordering 4 crepes. The crepes were placed in a handy carrier when ready. I had the BBQ chicken crepe, my wife had chicken basil. Both of us found the crisp external singed cheese layer on the crepe to be a delicious feature. The chicken seasoning and the other contents, including greens, were totally on point and the perfect amount with no spillover.

Yelp
So tasty! They easily customized our order to vegan friendly & their lemonade is refreshing. Great service as well

Yelp
Was looking for a pre Cactus to Clouds hike meal and crepes weren't in my typical go-to food but Gabino's Creperie may have just opened a new door for me. When I initially think of Crepes, dessert comes to mind, so when I saw these meat and cheese filled rolls of goodness, I had to partake. I tried the Turkey and Cheddar Crepe and was wowed with how delicious it was. I've heard numerous times that the type of bread makes a sandwich, and sure enough, the cheese-crisped crepe wrap was glorious. The fillings aren't anything new. However, the crispy cheese with the Crepe made each bite pleased my tastebuds until there was nothing left. There is only outdoor seating available and it's nestled towards the back away from the main street. So cozy up in your own seclusion enjoying your crepe or amongst your friends. Either way, you'll enjoy the relaxing vibes and tasty crepe :)

Jesssica D.

Yelp
The food was delicious I had the chicken Caesar with avocado omg out of this work no the service was amazing thank you so much didn't think I was going to finish

Yelp
Wow! This was so tasty! I wish we had one where we live! I'm drooling just reviewing this place. I had the BBQ Chicken crepe, it was so delicious, cooked perfectly, crispy with cheese on the outside and everything packed inside. The staff was super friendly and we got our order quickly. My daughter had the Banana Nutella crepe and she loved it! I can't wait to come back for a visit to eat here again!

Yelp
We discovered Gabinos on our first visit to PS in 2022 and we dream about those crepes after we're back home in Memphis! They're like no other crepe you will ever have! They are crispy on the outside with a lacey cheese crust while also being chewy. Perfection! I am vegetarian so I always opt for the veggie crepe. It has lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and feta cheese. What brings it all together is the secret sauce! I know it sounds like a salad inside a crepe but it's so much more than that and it's super filling. I've always been able to finish it, but I'm waddling afterwards! My husband is gluten intolerant so he gets the gf crepe. He always gets the buffalo chicken ranch. He would like to branch out, but it's sooo good that he keeps going back for the same one. It has all of the same veggies as mine with chicken, bacon, buffalo sauce and ranch. We went twice in the week we were in PS. The first day was hot and the guy at the counter told us to wait in our car and he would bring it around to us which was so nice. The second visit my husband got to meet one of the owners and tell him how much we love their food! Highly recommend! I saw some folks who thought it was too expensive, but they really are a good deal as they are a complete, delightful full meal!
google avatar

Yelp
Never disappoints ... a flavour party on the taste buds !!! Highly recommend putting this on the must go to while in the Desert !!! A little "hole" in the wall with limited seating but nice with the misters !!!
google avatar

Vincent C.

Yelp
I've been to Kreem the ice cream spot next door several times. I've always wanted to eat at Gabino's, but for whatever reason, I couldn't make it there. Well, I finally made it to Gabino's, and wow, I wish I could've made it earlier. I got the bbq crepe, and it was delicious. The bbq sauce was great, and the chicken wasn't dry. I also got the tropical mate, which was damn good. I just wish it was colder. For now on when I visit Palm Springs, I will be eating at Gabino's!!!
google avatar

Kristi C.

Yelp
I would give it a 12 star if I could. This place is unbelievably delicious. First-time here, and will be back 2 more times at least before I leave back home. I will always come to visit this amazing place. So happy we gland Found it. Thank you for making my tummy happy we will always come back for more.

Yelp
Gabino's Creperie is a delightful, cozy Palm Springs lunch spot specializing in savory crepes. As featured in Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, Gabino's has a limited menu of crepes that range from pesto chicken to BBQ chicken to buffalo chicken ranch. Given the hype, if you come in during prime lunch time, expect to wait ~20-30 min during the weekend. You order at the window up front and they have some seating in the back (coming in later in the day may net you both a shorter line and more seating with shade). The buffalo chicken ranch crepe was delicious - good balance of flavors and the chicken was well cooked. Crepe had a light crisp on the outside that added a nice textual contrast. The only desire would be another big piece of lettuce and some more sauce. Street parking or a small lot in the back. Service was nice
google avatar

Nayoung W.

Yelp
All the reviews are real, this place is great! Crepes are made fresh to order with generous fillings. There is enough seating for probably 20 people total, some covered and others in the sun. Fantastic establishment in an unassuming location. The crepes are messy to eat so do note this. Only recommendation I have is to add more than 1 choice for a sweet crepe!
google avatar

Israel P.

Yelp
So good I went two days in a row Pesto imo was way better than the buffalo chicken but both still good! Also the staff working are all fine aF.

Philip C.

Yelp
We just came across Gambino's crêperie in Indio. Really delicious. Good quality, great find, their Indio location is fantastic! Congratulations guys. . We wish you much success! Your crêpes are perfect and the fillings are just deliciously delightful. Everyone needs to check you out.
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
It's a walk-up eatery with the tastiest crepes I've ever had! It's cheesy crisp that makes these crepes unique you'd go back to for more. It's all outdoor seating and communal with a few tables available. Be prepared to wait for availability seats. And the half hour wait for your order is worth it. My husband and I had the delicious Chicken Pesto with greens, tomatoes, onions, pesto, cheese sauce plus a secret sauce! Then came back for more and had two savory and a sweet crepe: the BBQ Chicken was super good which also had the secret sauce and the Turkey Cheddar had the secret sauce too. Between the two the BBQ Chicken wins our favorite! And for a sweet crepe we had the Banana Nutella. And they were satisfying!
google avatar

Nina V.

Yelp
What a fun idea of a crepe sandwich! I haven't had a savory crepe in a rolled up/stand up fashion before so it different. I think I had the bbq chicken and it was good but a little dry. The cheese that was encrusted on the crepe itself reminded me of cheese chips/crackers. I had friends who got chicken pesto and I think they said it was dry. I guess stay away from ingredients that have the possibility of being dry (aka chicken) / order something that sounds more saucy. I would love to drop by again when I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Have been wanting to try this crepe for years since seeing it on social media posts and glad to say it did not disappoint! The restaurant is a walk-up window to order and a small outdoor seating area in the back. As for the crepe itself, just a handful of options to select from. I got the pesto chicken and tried my fiancé's bbq chicken - both were very flavorful and fresh (the lettuce works wonders to brighten up what could be otherwise very dense and heavy), and of course the crunch from the crepe is what makes these so satisfying. Also tried their Yerba mate lemonade to wash down the meal and it was perfectly balanced without being too sweet. On top of all this, everyone working here was super friendly! As an FYI, it sounds like they used to offer different sizes and customization options but have since consolidated offerings to streamline operations.
google avatar

Mr A.

Yelp
We come here every time we are in Palm Springs. One of the best culinary experiences you will have. Our favorite is the Turkey Cheddar, add avocado. Second favorite is the Chicken Ranch. Service is great. It is a small place, but it packs so much flavor.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Finally made time to stop and try Gabino's Creperie! This is a must stop. I pinned this over 2 years ago and just tried it out this Palm Springs trip. The crepe is pillowie and has a crunchy fried cheese crispy outer shell! We ordered the pesto and ranch chicken crepes 10/10 so delicious and filling!
google avatar

Bruski N.

Yelp
I love finding hole in the wall places that serve good food and Gabino's Creperie is literally a hole in the wall that serves great crepes (sweet and savory). Their unique style is to sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on the cook top and then pouring the batter over the cheese. This technique makes the cheese crispy and blends with the crepe. We ordered the BBQ and Buffalo chicken crepes through a small window by the side of the house that was converted into a restaurant. My BBQ chicken crepe was wrapped like a half open burrito with lots chicken, lettuce, and a combination of their special sauce and sweet BBQ sauce that was hard to describe but was so delicious. The ambient and service were nothing to write about. There were a few make shift tables and chairs outside that you can sit and savor this treat. There was a cashier (very casual) at the window to take orders and call your name when your food is ready. I would recommend Gabino's Creperie if you are adventurous and wanting to try these unique and tasty crepes.

Yelp
there was a mix up when paying on apple pay so they didnt get started on it right away. the guy apologized and hooked me up with a drink, so we waited a bit but we got lucky someone left a table. which is awesome because it was too early to check in and i wouldnt be able to eat anywhere lol. and the misters for the heat was sooo nice! the crepes were super filling so worth a good lunch before running your errands. seen this on drive in and dive in show so we had to come try. add the cheese sauce!
google avatar

Mei E.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW. Exceeded all expectations that I had, this place is the definition of "more than the sun of its parts". Generally pretty basic ingredients but everything is done SO well. Tons of flavor, perfect ratio of ingredients, and SUPER filling. The crispy cheese on the outside was fun but did make it a bit heavy (still absolutely delicious). They did let my partner order theirs without cheese too, very willing to work with dietary restrictions. Speaking of dietary needs: They had a gluten free option as well! My partner has a gluten intolerance and was just as satisfied with their gf crepe as I was with mine! I tried a bite and honestly couldn't tell much of a difference. There are a few smaller individual tables as well as one big community style table in the back. Mostly shaded which was nice. The staff was super nice and the service was quick. We're only in Palm Springs for a couple days but might come back on our way out, it's THAT good!
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Amazing food. Bbq chicken crepe and chicken ranch crepe absolutely awesome. Ricky was lovely. Just an all around great spot for some delicious lunch. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Parking in back or on street. You order at the window and follow the steps on the board most items are 15 dollars and drinks 4 dollars. Note credit cards only and you pay a service charge. Food was excellent and is filling. Takes lots of napkins. I had the buffalo chicken and we also had a bbq chicken. Both of excellent . I'm glad my mother in law could not sleep and saw it in on dinners drive inns and drives. Great find.

Yelp
This place doesn't need any more five stars reviews, but it deserves all of them! Being a local I have come here numerous times and always been very pleased with delicious crepes... the barbecued chicken is my favorite! It is very popular so you might have to wait up to a half an hour. Glad to see they just opened a second location in Indio. Don't expect an indoor dining room ,you order at a side window and sit at an outside sitting area.(which is dog friendly) Many different crêpes to choose from. Bon appétit!
google avatar

Howard Z.

Yelp
Phenomenal concept. Crepes are done to perfection. Chicken is all white shredded with a nice rich BBQ sauce.. You have to order and wait and it's worth it. Seats out back. A must in the Coachella Valley

Rachel Z.

Yelp
Love love this gem! Delicious and creative savory crepes. Friendly service. Cute alley location with some seats. Guy Fieri was right about this one! Owner is friendly and kind about sharing his life journey and overcoming some major obstacles. We loved the crepes and lemonades too! Really thoughtful and delightful place. Unique and fun.
google avatar

Jillian N.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken Cesar crepe and it was really good! I loved the sauce, the fried Parm cheese, and overall crepe! It did get a little oily at the end of it. The service was good and fast. The ambiance is nice, they have a good outdoor area that's misted that you can sit at and eat which was nice!

Yelp
Happiness is tasting crépes once in a while. Gabino's Creperie, a small shop where they create a savory crepes with signature crispy crust in a variety of flavors and fresh ingredients. They're located behind the ice cream shop alley on E Palm Canyon Dr at Tahquitz River Estate neighborhood. It was my first time here and was perfunctorily greeted by a male staff at the window. I ordered a large bbq chicken crepe and watermelon juice. Food taste good; the chicken was soft and tender; crépe was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside; my watermelon juice was simply refreshing albeit not enough especially on a hot palm springs afternoon. Prices were fair. Quality was great. Service was on point. Serving was sufficiently enough to satisfy a man's appetite. They only have outdoor seats. Customers have the option to dine-in, take out and delivery. Parking lot was extremely limited, however, there are street parking available. Overall, I liked the bbq chicken crepe and watermelon juice. I recommend this cute lil creperie.

Yelp
JUST GO HERE. Amazing crepe sandwiches with the most delicious secret sauce. The people that work here go above and beyond. Cute little window tucked down an alley. Do not miss this place! It's a must every time we're in Palm Springs.
