Seattle's Most Exciting Fall Restaurant Openings For 2023

"Opening: October Sure, another General Harvest restaurant is not necessarily a groundbreaking addition to the Seattle food scene—we already have Raccolto, Vendemmia, Autumn, Haymaker, and G.H. Pasta Co. But an influx of carbs and guanciale is bound to get our hearts racing regardless. Since January, G.H. Pasta & Pizza has taken over Haymaker East as a pop-up series, and now, they’re getting a permanent space in West Seattle where you can dive into a bowl of rigatoni carbonara or a pizza—like aglio e olio pies topped with garlic confit, or white-sauced ones with salmon and asparagus." - kayla sager riley

The Best Takeout Spots In Seattle

"G.H. Pasta Co. makes Italian takeout food exciting. At this casual South Lake Union lunch restaurant, your delicious plate of carbs will contain things like truffled cacio e pepe, pomodoro rigatoni with burrata, or gemelli chicken bianco ragu with cream and fennel. And if for some reason you stopped by and don't want pasta, the cayenne-soaked Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich should be your order." - aimee rizzo

Really chill and classy spot, great for a date or a special family dinner. We had the meatballs, mushroom pasta, and pizza. The food showing up as it was ready, made sharing the natural move. So you end up getting to sample all these different dishes that standout against each other. The staff was easy going, helpful, and friendly. We sat outside, but the heaters were kept away most of the fall chill. Really a fun place to spend a slow evening .

Been here a couple of times now and the pasta here is always fresh and delicious! Their pizza 🍕 is also wonderful! Always a crowd favorite. This has already become one of our go to Italian places around town! Service and atmosphere here is always top notch and staff is very friendly!

Loved our dinner here tonight. We came to celebrate a birthday and so happy we did. We started with the focaccia bread and the clams, which were both delicious. The clams have a bit of spice to them, in case you are sensitive to that. Then we shared the spaghetti and a pizza (the "love it or hate it"). Great if you like Hawaiian pizza. The spaghetti was delicious - love the noodles and it wasn't drowned in sauce. The pizza was great - really nice crust and very flavorful. My husband had the NA spritz and I had the mezcal lavender drink - forget the name, but it was so good. Finished with tiramisu and definitely some leftovers. We will definitely be back. Reservations recommended which you can book online. They also have a happy hour. We even got a double rainbow show to end the night. Service was fantastic and food was delicious.

Had been to this place on a weekend. It’s better to have a reservation. We tried their aranchini, garlic bread, pasta and a pizza. The pizza was a bit disappointing. Ambience and service were quite good. Would definitely recommend this place, if you’re looking for good pastas.

We LOVE this place! Went there once because I saw their food on IG. Our son kept asking to go back until we finally did. We had Brock (I think that was his name, super nice guy with glasses) and he remembered us from the time before months like 6 months ago! We’ll definitely be back! The Tonnarelli is my favorite! But everything we tried has been delicious! Cocktails are great too!

We love GH pasta. The pizza is so good- among the best in the area. The pasta is always so fresh and delicious. We have only ate once in the restaurant and we get take out often. We recently had a small mix up with our take out order and the manager took care of it with no issues. Really great customer service.

Did not realize we should’ve made a reservation, but they accommodated us at the bar. Clams were very good. Dipping the bread in the juice was the best. Pizza was outstanding. The Tonnarelli had heavy (what I assume was) truffle butter flavor. It was a bit overpowering. Everything is made in house.

What a great neighborhood spot! I am kicking myself for not going sooner. We dined on the patio as a party of 7, three being children. Our server was fantastic. They accommodated the children in our party with ease and friendliness, not something I can do myself for these kids half the time. 😂. The food was paced out so we weren’t too crowded. Our server also made great wine recommendations for us.
