This restaurant has surprised me on the quality of their food, I had the pepper steak sub and a medium sized lemonade drink for 19 dollars. The pepper steak sub was made perfectly but the meat lacked flavor which was surprising. The lemonade was delicious and was perfect; They took around 15 minutes to make the sub and they served it with napkins and a fork. The restaurant has a small parking lot on the left side on the small residential street side. They don’t have a dedicated handicap parking spot available and the restaurant is not really handicapped accessible. The prices are just on point for what you get, overall this restaurant was good and I enjoyed the food they served me. They need some improvement on the flavor of the food though but I do recommend you give them a try if you are in the area.

1st visit down and many more to come. Such excellent service and the food was amazing! Go hungry and go large if you dare!

We were excited to eat at this spot with our 15 month old, but they don’t own any high chairs, so we hade to get it to-go. The pizza was super good and really well made. We will definitely be back, but please get a couple high chairs so we can dine in 🙏🏼

Been dining here for over 40years. Nothing like these people's meals. Forget the Burbank one come to the Los Feliz one. Love Giamelas. Great service too

*I initially thought this place was closed. I parked in parking lot to find somewhere else to eat and one of the employees walked out.* This place is very filling, I wouldn’t put them in my top five favorite sub shops. Although they would make the top 10. My only gripe with this place would be there was no music here.

Ordered a sandwich with no raw onions, guy who took my order walks the sandwich out, I say I thought no onions and he’s like ya no raw onions….then looks and sees all the onions, like a lot and goes oh ya those shouldn’t be there sorry…still hands me the sandwich. Basically $17 meal and he’s like oh well. Not great service for such a highly recommended shop.

The people that have work here is astonishing sometimes don’t get me wrong. The food is great. I’ve been going to this place since I was in elementary school so I walked in today and I ordered a Mrs G, which is a half beef steak with peppers and the other half is a pastrami. There’s a heading right above the sandwich that tells you exactly what it has and there’s also a heading under each sandwich, which tells you a little bit more of what it has inside now under the Mrs G there’s no mustard included in the ingredient list so I walk in. I order a regular and I tell the guy I want meat and cheese only for some reason, he doesn’t jot it down and when I get the sandwich, the pastrami half has mustard now I hate mustard, mayo. So I dig in to the beef steak side of the sandwich. Then I noticed that the pastrami half has mustard I go up to the guy he makes a face. He tells me that the pastrami comes with mustard and I told him I understand that but when I ordered, I ordered a Mrs G this is a pastrami half and under Mrs G. It doesn’t say anything about mustard then he tells me well if you look under pastrami sandwich, it says right there that it includes mustard so then I told him I didn’t order a full pastrami sandwich. I ordered a Mrs. G and under Mrs. G it doesn’t say anything about mustard. Besides, I told him when I ordered, I said meat and cheese only then he tells me in Spanish that he doesn’t wanna argue with me and that he’ll fix it long story short it was his mistake and he tries to turn it around on me that it was my mistake and I should have mentioned that no mustard but I told him I did say meat and cheese only am I missing something this place is primarily known for their sandwiches and if this guy doesn’t understand meat and cheese only he needs to go somewhere else and work customer service today was awful.

Best best best pastrami sandwich ever, I will be going back anytime I'm near by. The place is not big but it's nice and clean. I really love coming to this place.
