"Warehouse District stunner Gianna, from the prolific Link Restaurant Group, serves smartly conceived regional Italian specialties — refined but homey versions of ribollita soup, ricotta gnocchi, and veal saltimbocca. Although the menu is rustic, the setting is not — this is a stylishly modern restaurant. Lunch is expanded to seven days a week." - Beth D'Addono, Clair Lorell

My spouse and I have been visiting Gianna's for almost 10 years now. They never disappoint, food is always fresh, great balanced flavor to traditional Italian dishes as they should be- not overly salted and you can add your own salt if wanted, awesome pizza, and portions are great! Free parking and nice cozy ambiance. Always clean. We just hosted our baby shower there and everyone loved it. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. The food was spectacular and the spaces they have for parties are great. The owners are great to work with as are the staff. Highly recommend for parties and everyday lunch or dinner.

Celebrated a retirement party there, food is great filled me up to the brim. The margarita pizza is nice and toasty and light and delicious. The service was phenomenal, Antonia our server really met all of our needs, she made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Family friendly environment with the option to Eat inside or outside, and they don't seat you in the parking lot over oil stains and asphalt. Real outdoor dining with umbrellas and adequate space. Highly recommended restaurant for takeout or dine-in!

Hidden away in the back Of an industrial park on North Broadway in Yonkers, Gianna's stands out in an area flooded with Italian restaurants. Though you can get takeout, you should definitely eat in to experience the great ambiance and amazing wait staff. This place isn't your normal italian spot. Their food hits another level thanks to the freshness and inspired use of seasonings. This place is a little more money compared to pizza paces in the area, but it's definitely worth it, and not as much of a pretentious rip off like Fortina's near by. Burrata & Rigatoni alla Ragu are pictured.

Went for lunch on a stormy day and Gianna's was empty. Service was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Tables were covered in white. We could hear music coming from the bar area where they were busy prepping a solid number of takeout orders. We were seated at a table in the front dining area and ordered a salad and a margherita pizza. Both were very good. The pizza crust was crisp and thin. The sauce and cheese were well proportioned. Perhaps the pizza could have used a bit more salt, but the crust was very good. I'd like to come back and sample some of the entrees!

First time here. Food was delicious had the lobster ravioli with shrimp. Served bread and olives to table. Yum! Waitress was very friendly and warm which makes meals all the more enjoyable. Glad we went here, friend and I were yapping as friends do and we were not rushed out. Would definitely visit again.

Truly nothing I liked about this place the service was okay but cold. I got there at 3:00 by the time someone went to take my order it was 3:04 so they wouldn't honor the lunch special. The food was edible, decent even though it tasted better the second day and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. Except for one guy who might have been the owner🤷🏽‍♀️

Google
Lasagna had practically no meat, cheese or sauce between the pasta layers. It was 23 before tax and was literally just a heap of pasta with a bit of tomato sauce and some meat. Not worth it.

Google
I only have compliments. They hosted a friends baptism after party. We had our own room & wait staff. A table of aluminum trays propped above sternos. See photos for the menu if that event. Everything was cooked & seasoned well. The beer was cold, the drinks were mixed well.

Yelp
In town for work and everyone that I have spoken with tells me it's great. Well, I was not disappointed. I came on a quiet, slow night which allowed me to relax and take it in. I started with the Burrata which is a favorite of mine. A generous size ball of burrata with tomatoes, basil, roasted peppers. The balsamic was a little heavy but soft. Followed that up with the pappardelle and short ribs ragu paired with a Chianti. The portion was generous enough to have leftovers. A nice locals gem.

Yelp
We threw our son's high school graduation party in the private room here at Gianna's and everything went perfectly. We arrived 15 minutes early and even though there was a party that ended right before our reservation, the staff had the room all set up for our party. We had 32 guests and there was plenty of room. The food was amazing and the family style servings were very generous. The Hot Antipasto platters were a HUGE hit with our guests. We selected the Chicken Martini and Sole Francese as our main entree options with the Penne Ala Vodka as the pasta course. We've never had a bad meal at Gianna's and they continued to live up to our expectation. Service was incredible from the staff. Dietary substitutions were made upon request even if there was not advanced notice, which we were very thankful for. And to cap off the meal, the assorted desserts were delicious. We had a cake brought in but the guests preferred the Gianna's desserts. I was so happy with our experience and will definitely consider them for a party again.

Yelp
Came here & caught up with a friend for dinner. The food was delicious! Loved the vibes. The only thing was the service was very, very slow. We waited a very long time for appetizers, entrees, and the desserts. We had calamari to start which was crispy & tasty. I had a chicken teriyaki special with risotto, which was delicious. Loved the sauce. I had a strawberry gelato for dessert and my friend got this Nutella banana pie, which were both tasty!

Yelp
Great place where you wouldn't expect. I had a great martini before dinner. The Cesar salad was great, make sure to ask for anchovies! The linguini and red clam was fantastic. The clams were soft and not chewy. The pasta was toothsome and sauce was perfect.,the bread and olives that come with dinner were great. I will come back if in the area.

Yelp
My friends and I were so glad to have found this restaurant looking for a place to meet and eat at before going to Untermyer Gardens. The ambiance was nice and wait staff were attentive. Most importantly, everything we ordered was so good! All of us got the Pasta e Fagiole (the pasta was perfectly al dente and it was a large bowl), I got the individual margarita pizza, and the others ordered caesar salad and Orecchiette (the dish was huge and pasta perfectly al dente). If only Gianna's were located near where I live, I'd be a regular there! I'll make sure future visits to Untermyer will always include lunch at Gianna's.

Yelp
Had an terrible experience with their delivery person and their pizza. I ordered just one pizza and it was delivered cold. I have never gotten a pizza cold ever. So when I called to complain, since we live just around the corner, he gave a lame excuse but delivered another one which was worse than the first. The delivery man who came back wanted the first pizza back but I said I threw it away he got angry and started yelling and cursing at me. Never in my life have I encountered a delivery person yelling at me when I am the customer who was inconvenienced waiting for food that should be prepared correctly and professionally. I called the establishment back but they couldn't care less of my ordeal. He said the manager would get back to me, but I am still waiting. Never will I dine in or have delivery again at this restaurant. Their food is not worth it there is better pizza elsewhere.

David D.

Yelp
This has become our "place to go" over the past few months. Well prepared and generously plated food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly and respectful service and a well stocked bar, all contributed to that conclusion. Recently I discovered the Codfish Marechiara dish. Similar to the Zuppa Di Pesce but without the pasta. Lots of shell fish on Tom of a chunk of cod fish, in a red sauce. Delicious! The Honey likes the Chicken Marsala - generously flavored with the Marsala wine (as you'd expect). And there is always the dessert, to top off a good dinner. We're definitely coming back.

Yelp
Okay so Friday and I'm wondering what to feed the wife and kids. I immediately thought of this place for pizza. But not your avg pizza, the thin sliced crunchy type. So I ordered pickup. Guy on the phone was accommodating and nice enough while placing my orders. I ordered a large pie (8 slices btw) which, in retrospect, is not enough to feed two kids 12 and under & my wife and I. I'll come back to this later. I also ordered a broccoli rab and cheese calzone. I was raving about this after it entered my mouth. Also ordered a regular salad (good portions) w/ creamy balsamic - delish! All this came to 33$ and some change. Seems like a decent price - the only issue is that the large pizza is more like a medium sized pizza. I was disappointed with this. Cmon make a large pizza a freakin LRGE PIZZA! It really doesn't take that much more dough. And since this restaurant doesn't go heavy with mozzarella, (not a huge deal breaker) they can afford to make the large pie more like 11-12 slices w/o breaking the bank. Other than that major complaint, the broccoli Rab calzone was AMAZING! And the salad was fresh a good size and the balsamic, creamy as hell, was very tasty! Make the pies larger and you have a customer for life. Now get crack-a-lack in' pizziaolo! Buon Appetito ya filthy animals!

Yelp
Gianna says evolved into a very good restaurant with excellent food. The only issue I have with Gianna's is that I have never felt welcomed despite eating there and getting takeout since they opened. I don't know why that is but I expect after this much time (and $ spent) they'd recognize me and be a little warmer.

Mickey D.

Yelp
I used to love coming here every Sunday after work for a beer and a pizza to take home. This place reminded me of my favorite neighborhood Italian restaurants growing up. Unfortunately after today I won't be returning. While I waited at the bar for my pizza I sat and listened to a local patron named Lisa with red hair go on about how she would like to take a baseball bat and bash the teeth out of Kamala and her team. How America is f*cked and headed towards communism. How Kamala is pretending to be black. The bartender and another patron who like to have his miller genuine drafts kept on ice were happy to oblige her in conversation. Too heavy for my liking.

Rico R.

Yelp
Never a bad meal, ever!! Moderately priced but worth it! Meatballs appetizer and chicken scarpiello entre are top notch! Great environment for socializing, celebrations and a night out.

Diana C.

Yelp
Food and service terrible! They said the had a new chef, whatever that means. Not much more to add.

Nia P.

Yelp
The food was decent. I felt that it was pricey. It's in a strip plaza. Nothing special. The staff was friendly.

Laurie C.

Yelp
Food and service were very good. Restaurant can get very loud and noisy. Multiple tv's at the bar area which attracts a sports crowd.

David A.

Yelp
Food was terrible. I was also served spoiled Pinot Grigio. Glorified bar food with no authentic Italian flavors

Albert M.

Yelp
Came to the yonkers to work and wanted Italian. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The woman at the front had an attitude and didn't want help with suggestions for my pizza roll. She acted like I was bothering her and didn't want to serve me. My food was throan on the counter any kinda way, just balled up. I won't spend my money at this establishment again. One and done BAD experience. Shit gets a zero rating.

Alix s.

Yelp
Very good food excellent prices. Great waiters. Their pizza's are especially good, which says a lot in the New York metropolitan area.

Denise H.

Yelp
Gianna's. North Broadway Yonkers Friends and Family. After the most horrible experience I had tonight, I will never step foot in Gianna's again I ordered a steak medium rare. I got medium well. I returned it and told the waiter . He came back and asked do you want it less cooked, I replied yes. He returned with a raw uncooked steak browned on the outside. To me that was a downright slap in the face. I then asked for the manager , showed her the steak, she took it and went to the kitchen. She came back to the table and said: "We have a new chef, he is transitioning and mistakes happen". Really. That was not a mistake. She also replied before your son opened his mouth I comped your steak. It was inedible, I paid the bill and left. Thank you to Jessie our waiter who was wonderful. In closing to everyone who has used Gianna's for your fund raiser, birthday, after noon lucnch and just a bunch of friends getting together, please don't include me. Thanks.

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Talk about a place that doesn't look like much. This place is in a little plaza off the main road and if you aren't looking you would miss it. That being said, I am glad I checked Yelp because this place is a hidden gem. They have everything you would expect from an italian place. The normal italian heavy hitters... pizza, chicken parm, salads, etc. I saw a thing called an eggplant roll on the menu. Now I have heard pepperoni rolls or sausage rolls but never eggplant. I hsd to try and what I found is that it was the best eggplant roll I ever had. Amazing even if I never had one before. I would order that one instead of a pepperoni one any day. What I also enjoyed was the tomato sauce that came with it. The flavor of the tomato sauce was top quality. Unfortunately, the beet/goat cheese/arugula salad was ok. It is a simple dish but hard to be executed perfectly. My coworker ordered the salmon ($19) and liked it. It was a small portion but still good. It comes with a side of pasta so that helped but overall it didn't look like much. This is a happening place for lunch so it seems like the locals know about it. The bar area was separated from the dining room and was filled up. The server was great too. Nice guy. I would definitely come back here and recommend. Next time I want to try the chicken parm! Looking forward to it!

Colette H.

Yelp
I've been here so many times! I've had mostly good experiences here. I've dined in and had take out. I've ordered the chicken parm and the margarita pizza here. Both are so yummy! I'd definitely come back here again!

Angela C.

Yelp
Came to this restaurant with family for dinner and everything was so good, from the service to the ambiance to the food. I definitely recommend getting the margherita pizza, lasagna and lobster ravioli.

Megan O.

Yelp
I have been to Gianna's many times for their delicious Italian food. I recommend the Margherita pizza $14, Caesar salad $9, burrata $14, clams $14, chicken martini $21, lobster ravioli $25, and creme brûlée. I would not get the arugula salad as it is very plain with no dressing-just arugula, some onions and tomatoes. All meals have large portions & the staff are very friendly. They have a private dining room for parties etc. and the prices are decent.

Dina B.

Yelp
Giannas is the place to go if you want fresh, delicious and generous portions of great Italian food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. I have booked our annual holiday party for my job there for the past 3 or 4 years and the owner , Carmine, couldn't be more accommodating. He is so easy to talk to and always fair and so generous. He aims to please his customers and he does just that. The food is awesome. My favorite dishes are their hot antipasto, which can feed a small army, and the chicken capriciossa. The lobster ravioli is a big favorite with my family as is the pizza. I've never had anything there that wasn't delicious. Give it a try , you will be back for sure.

Corey P.

Yelp
Wish they had bud light beer..... I don't like that restaurants don't offer great beers !

Tim K.

Yelp
This is a very fine Italian restaurant. For dinner I ordered eggplant with a side salad and steamed vegetables. I really enjoyed the flavor, taste, and portion size of the egg plant. It was enough to easily feed two people. The salad too was very generously sized and filled with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, olives and tomatoes. The steamed vegetables offered a mix of carrots, broccoli, and other assorted greens. I found the ordering process easy with a helpful, friendly voice on the other side of the phone.

Nicci W.

Yelp
We ordered delivery to our hotel and all were happy with our meal. Delivery was quick and hit even in a Saturday evening during prime dinner time hours. The fried meatballs were certainly a favorite!!!

Melissa T.

Yelp
Their pizza is delicious, as is the chopped wedge salad! Wine is decent, make a great espresso martini and the sweets are good. The other dishes lack flavor and taste off. Stick to the pizza!

Brian C.

Yelp
Food was very good. Delivery was exceptional! Visiting the area and Gianna's was recommended. Also love the name!!

Jerry O.

Yelp
we had a reservation for 15 people at this restaurant for lunch after the funeral service. We arrived at the restaurant 2:40 pm lunch is served up until 3 pm.But they gave us the dinner menu which we didn't request. we told the waiter we wanted only the lunch menu and he said it ends at 3pm. we said it is 2:45 bring us the lunch menu the waiter came back to the table 3:55 wi the lunch menu and said you have 5 minutes to decide what you want to eat. we told him we know what we want and are ready to order. Now it's 3pm and no more lunch will be served. I asked to speak to the owner and he brought me over and came back to the table and said the kitchen is closed for lunch now. I said that's do your waiter bringing the menu at 3:55. But no we can't help you. So we ordered food. All said and done the waiter was horrible the boss was rude and the food was Terrible . Never ever again would I eat a this place or ever tell anyone to go there ! I have never seen anything like this in my entire lifetime

Chalita P.

Yelp
My only wish was that Gianna's is closer to home. I'd probably permanently gain weight if that were true. Food here is amazing and portion sizes were great! The lamb was good but the sauce needed a little work, margarita pizza was bueno and the veal was superb. A home run overall. You're a bit scrunched up together table wise but hey got to make most of their real estate. I didn't have room for dessert but I'm sure their chocolate lava cake, tartufo, or cheesecake are worth a try! Definitely recommend you visiting and enjoy a nice cooked meal here yourself!

Allen E.

Yelp
I don't eat Italian food often, but I came here for my coworker's graduation. I ordered the chicken Scarpaiello, pointing at it on the menu when ordering. A few minutes later, I received pasta fagioli. I looked at my bowl and thought to myself, "does the chicken come later?" And my friend added "maybe the chicken is at the bottom." Needless to say, the chicken was nowhere to be found. I informed our waiter, who was very kind and understanding, and he offered to take the bowl back and swap out the order. The pasta fagioli was rather tasteless, in all honesty. Even with additional salt, nothing really changed. It was as if the food was left unseasoned. The food was also relatively cold. Overall, my experience at Gianna's was...sub par. I visited McDonalds after.

E.S. L.

Yelp
Saturday night - the place was packed. Not a great time or place for a first date. The service was not alright. The food was really just okay. But, the noise level of one particular table, it ruined anything that may have been good in that place. AND, nothing was done to stop them. Nothing. There were about 15 or 18 people, sitting at one long table, who really needed to be calmed down. The noise level from the group was insane. The loudest voices seemed to be those of a couple of men at one end of the table, but there was also a women in the party who seemed fond of standing on her chair while shouting out as well. (Yes. Standing on her chair (at least two different times.) There was screaming and yelling, though the group seemed to be content and enjoying themselves. The management should have done something about it. The ruckus ruined the evening. Drinks kept on making their way over to the table as well. I guess anything for a buck?? It was shameful that nothing was done to tame this selfish group. Those in charge should be held accountable.

Jocelyn D.

Yelp
It was packed, like people inside , people outside and phone was ringing non stop with orders coming in , that sorta packed. I smiled politely at the very busy pizza maker guy said gracias and took my margarita pizza to go. Delicious, perfect crust that's foldable w that quality mozzarella that's not gummy/chewy then topped with fresh diced basil sprinkled all over, after the pizza is hot out of the oven. Yummmmm !

Elyse A.

Yelp
Love this little place. Food is great service is good. The ambiance is lacking but I would go there again. Excellent seafood!

Erika T.

Yelp
I had the best fried calamari here! So fresh!! And the pasta was perfection, as was the Italian cheesecake. Very attentive service. It was the perfect spot for lunch after a visit to the Utermyer Gardens.

Patricia M.

Yelp
Great food and cozy place. I would certainly recommend it. They do get busy on the weekends so would suggest a reservation in advance.

Roberts R.

Yelp
Great Italian food that you swear makes you feel like mom just made it! Large portions at a great price! The truly exceptional thing about this place is the people! I was referred here by the hotel, "don't let the fact it is in a strip mall fool you" they said. I walked in and you could immediately feel the family atmosphere. I typically like to sit at a table but the Baseball Playoffs were on and decided to sit in the bar area. Everyone seemed to know each other and they were having a great time. More people came in and everyone greeted each other. I started chatting with them and they all introduced themselves. Anthony the owner was there having dinner with his family but was still up and talking making sure everyone was having a good time! Kim was tending bar and she was dishing out the smack talk to the customers just as fast as they could give it to her. It really was a great time! Usually the review is about the place itself, but this time it is about that small community of customers that really made this whole experience. THIS IS HONESTLY AND WITHOUT QUESTION THE BEST PLACE TO GO!

Cristina P.

Yelp
Excellent! Fresh, homemade delicious food. The pizza is too notch. Reasonably priced. Definitely go!

Jeff C.

Yelp
Really good neighborhood Italian spot. Pizza is fantastic as are the dinner entrees. Always quick delivery and hot.

Suki S.

Yelp
Went there for Christmas eve with family. The food was beyond horrible. I assume all the meals on the menu were precooked - The fish was mush and the service was the worst... So sad not in the spirit instead they were in the spirit bc All the workers were to busy drinking..... Worst Christmas eve dinner ever.... Never again!!!

Yasser A.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in Yonkers! I came here a couple of days ago with my brother in law who had been here before. Service is nice the waiter refilled my coke without even asking me which is really pleasant most of the time you go to a place to eat and your begging for a refill. We had the buretta as an appetizer and even though it was late in the evening you could taste the freshness of the cheese and the olive oil was excellent. We also had the fra diavlo mussels which were good but my favorite was the calamari. It had just enough breading and it was nice and crunchy. My brother in law had the lamb chops and really like it and I had the chicken scarp which was awesome. I can't wait to come here again and try different things on their menu.

Hope R.

Yelp
Went for lunch today with two friends, we absolutely enjoyed the fabulous lunch and service! It was great to get out during this pandemic to enjoy great food and great company!! Gianna's is one of my very favorite restaurants!!! Thank you for keeping all your high standards!!!!

Tonia S.

Yelp
Of course during this pandemic you have to head out of the city for indoor dining; I was looking for a great restaurant with great food & came across Gianna's & I was not at all disappointed! From the service, to the food, every bit of my experience was beyond perfect. The plate size is huge, more than enough to share. I cannot wait to go back

Katrina R.

Yelp
eggplant rollatini is out-of-this world delicious! especially when ordered with a salad or pasta on the side! Mmmmhhmmm!!!good!!

Michelle S.

Yelp
OMGOODNESS, their eggplant rollitini and artichokes are the BEST I've tasted! My sista girl enjoyed the flavor of the pan seared salmon, but felt it was a tad dry. Regardless, I recommend and will be back. Plenty of on site parking is always a +++!

Dan L.

Yelp
Great food, great service, nice ambiance, never rushed & some of the best pizza I ever tasted. Have been back a few times.

Lo W.

Yelp
Highly recommended! It was a pasta kind of day, so I went to Gianna's for an early dinner. The peppardelle dish with short rib & Veg ragout absolutely hit it out of the park. The pasta was silky smooth and the sauce never overwhelmed. I loved it! And the service was great. Oh and did I mention the portion? I took home enough for two more meals. What a nice find!

Dorene R.

Yelp
Good upscale Italian Food! Delicious marinated olives; Rustic Italian bread for starters. Caesar salad with homemade dressing excellent. Pass on the escarole soup; good meatballs but the broth needs work. The spinach stracciatella soup was better. Fast served hot food made with choice ingredients. Great wait staff. A hidden gem in the corporate park.

Bill H.

Yelp
The Veal Parm was very good delivery was prompt and all seemed to go well the two stars are due to the inconsiderate manner they put to problems. The cold antipasto had bad bordering on rotten salami the manager wouldn't even call back The girl on phone offered a 50% credit I said this was fair she called back and told me the manager gave 25% and it seemed he wasn't even interested that people could get sick on this it's a shame that management has no people skills
