The 16 Best Coffee Shops In London

"You'll have to fight your way through a Camden food market crowd to get served at Glass Coffee. Suck it up. Embrace it. Because the pour-overs are flavourful, the milky coffees are made with homemade almond milk, and care and attention is given to every cup that comes out of this bright blue shipping container hatch. A self-described “tech-driven coffee shop” sounds like a big yawn, but not the way Glass is doing it. QR codes on takeaway cups link to traceability for each ingredient. But they’ll only get deep about their favourite fourth-generation coffee producer if you ask, and even then it’s a fun chat. " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Glass Coffee Review - Camden - London - The Infatuation

"You'll have to fight your way through a Camden food market crowd to get served at Glass Coffee. Suck it up. Embrace it. Because this is one of the best coffee shops in London. The pour-overs are flavourful, the milky coffees are made with homemade almond milk, and care and attention is given to every cup that comes out of this bright blue shipping container hatch. A self-described “tech-driven coffee shop” sounds like a big yawn, but not the way Glass is doing it. QR codes are slapped on every takeaway cup which link to traceability for each ingredient, down the supply chain. But they’ll only get really deep about their favourite fourth-generation coffee producer if you ask, and even then it’s a fun chat. The queue is half tourists who have got very lucky by stumbling here, and half serious coffee people who don’t stick around once they’ve been served. If you do have time, grab a table in the market and get the brownie—it's gooey, rich, with good-quality chocolate, and one of the best we've had. video credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Sinéad Cranna

Wow, probably one of the best pour overs I have had in a while. Dan, who is a barista here is very knowledgable and recommended a very interesting Colombian washed variety (Benitez) which had tasting notes of Orange, Plum and Bergamot. He is a pro at making pour overs and gave me some great tips as well. Absolutely loved the coffee, which was brewed to perfection and one experience most of the notes. Also recommend the banana bread, which was delicious and flavourful. Will definitely be visiting again.

One of the best hand drips I had in London. The barista (Gia) was very nice and we had a great chat about the coffee beans and the coffee farmers too. I enjoyed the coffee so much that I completely forgot to take a picture of my coffee.... If you are into pour over, definitely should visit this shop.

Alternative milk was almond and ruined the coffee for me - was too sweet - like adding 2 sugars to it. Tasted more like a syrup at the bottom. Won’t be going back unless there’s oat milk

In a corner of the first floor of a shipping container market we weren’t expecting to find some of the best coffee we’ve had let alone a life changingly good brownie. We almost didn’t get the brownie, but after reading about each ingredient sourced from different farms, including spelt flour, I had to try it. It ended up being the best brownie either of us had ever had. The iced latte and cold brew were both some of the best I’ve had of both too. The latte having butterscotch flavour with no sugar or syrup needed. The farm ethos really shines through in the quality of the ingredients and the customer service was top notch. I would go out of my way to go back, and make sure to take friends here too.

This has to be some of the best coffee I have ever had. It is very evident that the coffee is prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavour clarity on their roasts particularly if you go for a drip filter coffee is stunning. On top of that, it is great to know where the coffee is sourced from with the QR codes they provide on their cups. If you are in the area, drop past here!
