Casual restaurant serving creative Chinese & Asian cuisine, plus tasting menus & lunch specials.
"Situated on a side street off Wentworth in Chinatown, Go 4 Food seems small, but there’s a downstairs that can be used for private parties. They’re known for their fresh seafood— there’s a tank filled with lobster and crab right in the back of the dining room—and there are always some specials that shouldn’t be overlooked. Our favorite appetizer is the bao “taco,” and as far as entrees, the slightly sweet walnut shrimp and the chili-spiced dungeness crab are standouts (though all the seafood entrees are great)." - Adrian Kane
"Chinatown’s Wentworth strip has tons of exceptional spots, but it’s worth venturing out to one of the side streets for Go 4 Food’s fusion Chinese dishes and seafood. Though this BYOB spot gets crowded quickly, the massive pile of dungeness crab smothered in a sweet chili sauce warrants an hour-long wait. The spicy beef bao “tacos” appetizer and dishes like juicy “French-style” beef tenderloin and salted egg yolk shrimp are all great, too—so make sure one (or all) of those make it to the iPad ordering queue." - john ringor, adrian kane

"The aptly-named Cantonese restaurant is a great place to go for ... food. The menu is littered with American-Chinese staples and creative dishes like taco baos, chili fusion Dungeness crab, and “Millionaire-style” fried rice. Alcohol is BYOB." - Ashok Selvam, Jeffy Mai
"Instead of the usual American Chinese menu, Go 4 Food offers what’s best described as Cantonese fusion cuisine. The eclectic lineup is heavy on seafood and includes dishes like Manilla clams with black bean sauce, salted egg yolk shrimp, crispy soft shell crab, and chili fusion fish fillets. Taco baos and “Millionaire-style” fried rice are big hits as well. Call 312-842-8688 for carryout; delivery is available through third party services." - Jeffy Mai
