Got a chance to try Godunk for the first time on New Year’s Day with a group of friends, and we loved it. The ambiance was great the moment we walked in, fun, cozy, and welcoming.
Our server Mine took amazing care of our table. She was super warm, attentive, and gave great drink and food recommendations. Everything she suggested was on point.
The menu is easy to read and full of Thai street food options. I also really love the creativity of the drink menu.
As a tequila lover, I started with the Before Sunset cocktail such a good start. Smooth, not too strong, with a nice mezcal touch. Love, Rosie is a must-try cocktail, and I ended the meal with Vivre Sa Vie, so refreshing and yummy. My friend also couldn’t stop talking about their Thai Iced Tea.
For apps, we pretty much tried everything and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Hamachi Ceviche (perfect balance of spicy and sour) and the Grilled Pork Jowl Salad soooo good.
For entrées, we shared a bunch: Pad Thai Korat Shrimp, Yentafo Seafood Noodle, Kee Mao, Godunk Fried Rice, Tom Yum Soup, Crab Omelette, and more. My absolute favorite was the Dry Suki it tasted just like what I’ve had in Thailand. Also loved the Nam Tok A5 Wagyu Noodle.
Big thank you to Mine for the excellent service and for handling all our big and small requests so well. We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back with more friends.
