Visited 12/21/23. Awesome spot for a sandwich, bagels, meats and other treats. Sat down and got some sandwiches, went with the Brooklyn Reuben and my wife got the same on gluten free bread. Both were amazing and the gluten free bread was good. The thinly sliced corned beef was juicy and delicious. Grabbed some bagels, linzer and other cookies on our way out. All were very good especially the linzer ones. I could eat 100 of those. Overall great place and would definitely recommend!

The people that work in the kitchen are so rude. I stood at the pick up/order and they ignored me and looked right at me. They talked bad about me in Spanish and continued to ignore me. I think it is because I am black. The lady with the blonde hair helped me when they ignored me and she was delightful! She apologized for their rudeness and helped me order. The people behind the counter made the food and instead of handing it to me(keep in mind I was the only person there) he walked around the entire place and handed it to the woman and not to me. The manager is friendly but the kitchen staff are not friendly to blacks.

Have you eat before at Goldberg? Well, I ate like for a year!! 😅😅 food is soo delicious, the staff is super nice and serve fast, really fast considering that the restaurant is full most part of the time ( I got my food in less than 10 min) and they also have a mini market so you can take for to go 😍😍🙏🏻. My family and I love it here. We discovered it upon moving to the area & were not disappointed! For brunch, we got sat immediately and food was fast. I love love love the nova/onions dish. Their latkes are out of this world. Best "NY Jewish deli" in Atlanta (and I been to all of them.) I also like the breakfast flatbread even though it's not super deli-y.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very homey and there is an attached deli so you can buy the ingredients of what you eat at the restaurant as well as other jewish delicacies. The bathrooms are not very clean but besides that everything is top tier.

The sandwich was good but I honestly expected something better based on the advertising and reputation. The sausage on the breakfast bagel was a couple of links of sausage split in half and the Asiago jalapeno bagel was an Asiago bagel with 2 slices of jalapeno in the top and bottom hole. The latkes were AMAZING and my daughters devoured them. The bagel with cream cheese was meh.

We ate here in late October on a Sunday morning at 8:45 am. When we arrived, there weren't that many people in the restaurant, but the place was almost full by the time we left. Parking was easy to find in the large free parking lot shared by all of the businesses that are in the same outdoor strip mall where Goldbergs Fine Foods is located. We were immediately greeted and seated at a table next to the wall and window, so we were away from most of the other tables. Our no-nonsense, quick and efficient server took care of two other tables of customers who were there before us before coming to our table. We were ready to order, so he took our orders: a Brooklyn Reuben corned beef sandwich for me, and 2 Eggs with Nova and Onions Breakfast Plate for R. My corned beef sandwich came with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, homemade Russian dressing on rye bread, a dill pickle spear and choice of coleslaw, potato salad, fruit, chips, fries or onion rings. I chose potato salad. R's Breakfast Plate came with a bagel or toast and choice of potato latke, fresh fruit or tomato slices. R chose a bagel and fresh fruit, and ordered his eggs over easy. 10 minutes after we ordered, our food was served nice and hot. My corned beef sandwich had a very delicious flavor, and was actually better than I had expected, and the potato salad was creamy, but just tasted average. R liked his meal and said it was good. After he brought us our food, our server's attentiveness dropped off and I had to flag him down every time we needed something, like napkins, water glasses refilled, and our final tab. The restaurant was clean, and tables were cleaned immediately after customers left their tables. After we left the dining area, I checked out the deli department, and all of the items in the display cases looked good. There is counter only for take out orders - to place and to pick up. This area was very well prepared for customers to walk in, pick out what they wanted from the display cases or prepackaged on the counters, pay at the counter and enjoy their food.

A restaurant can be awful because of: 1. It's food 2. It's service 3. It's ambiance. This place manages to check all three boxes. Hands down the worst service in all of Atlanta. The food is tasteless. And often stale. And the laundromat around the corner has better ambiance. Oh, and don't even get me started on cleanliness. Rats and roaches would find this place too nasty. The owners should be ashamed. This place is a disgrace. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Goldbergs is so good!!! I'm not a huge fan of traditional Ruben's, etc so I ordered off the breakfast menu and got the chicken and biscuit and added an egg - IT WAS AWESOME!!! The biscuits were literally giving everything to me - buttery flaky crusttttt let's gooooo!!! The fried chicken was so crispy and juicy - chick fil a who??? The latkes were also amazing and I was soooo full by the end. Definitely go to Goldbergs !!!!

Wow! I've been to a lot of breakfast places, but this is one of my favorites. They have a lot of options on their menus. Their omelets were huge and well cooked! Their blueberry bagel with the strawberry cream cheese was a perfect pair! On top of that, their service was really good. The workers there were very attentive to us. If you live in ATL or just visiting I would suggest them as your breakfast joint!

Finally got to try some authentic NY style lox, bagel, and cream cheese. Oh my Broadway, that bagel is a 5 star spectacular. Fresh, toasted and my Everything bagel. Thank you to the ladies that told us this is the best bagel spot in all of Atlanta. We were at the WestPaces Ferry location and they were hopping with customers coming in to dive and fast turn around pick up. If you are missing a bit of NY and wish you could find a great bagel bakery cone by Goldberg. Look over their huge menu- you can't go wrong getting a meal at Goldbergs. The food is by far is one of my favorite new go to spotI loved it.

Came here for breakfast on a week day and was surprised how many tables were filled. No wait but they were doing a steady business. Our waitress came right away to get us started. Their bagels are some of the best in Atlanta and the waitress was able to accommodate both of our requests (scooping bagels, light on cream cheese etc) without issues.

So happy we came. Real bagels and real deli sandwiches. May I also say the mushroom barley soup was a warming welcome and it came with bagel crisps. I also really like the idea of a side fruit as opposed to anything fried or potato salad or coleslaw. The rye is authentic seed in. The frank (hot dog) is all beef as it should be. I'll be back and I'm taking a half dozen bagels to go.

Our server found us some that was just coming our of the dishwasher, but said they were really low, hence the plastic. We enjoyed our breakfast, but expect real silverware when we dine in.

I had brunch there and it was ok. You can't go wrong with two eggs scrambled and a fresh bagel. The Potato latke was unusual.... Tough, greasy and a bit salty so... The Basics: When I want a quick and casual brunch, I go to Goldbergs every time. The restaurant specializes in bagels and they have so many creative and delicious bagels. There can be a wait on the weekends, but the wait is never too long. Things I like: The bagels at Goldbergs are some of the best quality I've gotten in Atlanta. They also have some amazing flavors. Some of my favorites are: Jalapeño Cheddar, Blueberry, Asiago Cheese, and the Everything bagel here is great too. When I go for brunch, I normally will order the nova platter, which comes with tons of nova, a bagel, and a side. It is absolutely delicious. I also love Goldbergs because they do a great job dealing with crowds. When I go around 10:30-11ish on a weekend I either sit down immediately or within ten minutes. You can't say that about every brunch spot in the ATL! Things I didn't like: Nothing! They do a great job managing crowds and I have always enjoyed my meals at Goldbergs. Goldbergs is a great spot for brunch in Atlanta and no one will be disappointed with the choice! It's great quality and delicious food to start your day with!

A waste of money and time. I ordered a bagel w/a side of fruit and the spinach and artichoke bites. The bites came packaged for retail, frozen and expired in June. I placed the order 7/18. The fruit cup side included 4 pieces of mushy, old fruit in a bite sized container. This was my first time trying this establishment and will be the last.

I don't often write reviews but when I do I am honest. Was so looking forward to meeting my friend for lunch. Had everything planned out in my mind, I was going to order Matzoh ball soup for lunch and a takeout Corned beef rueben for take out. The soup came out---Matzoh ball so small---what happened the price of eggs caused the size to decrease so much??!! So Salty could barely eat. My friend ordered a tuna fish sandwich on bagel with a cup of coffee and it was over $17---As for the take-out Rueben----asked for Latkes (potato pancakes) instead of fries----Trader Joe's potato pancakes SO MUCH BETTER!! Brought home some chopped liver at Around $13.00/lb---had to "doctor" it up to be edible--I am Jewish so I know this food---wait staff ok---surely not above average---Not a good experience---hope this review helps you to improve.

Goldberg's has been a staple breakfast and lunch deli in the Atlanta area for years. It's a no frills deli/diner spot and you'll want to arrive early to get a table but if you have to wait, the line usually moves quickly and it's worth the wait. I still miss their colony square location, but thankfully there are other locations. The best thing is their consistency with food quality and service. You know what to expect and it's always great. I usually get the breakfast plate with two eggs, a bagel, and lox. I love their everything bagel and they season it on both sides for even more flavor! You can also get a kid portion waffle (half of a belgian waffle) if you're craving something sweet. Their bagel sandwiches are also delicious.

My first review was deleted by Yelp based on a complaint from Goldberg's that there's some conflict of interest or that I am involved with their business in some form or fashion. This is not true. I am a FORMER customer that moved to ATL last year (2020) and frequented this deli because my kids like their bagels. During one of our visits, my husband and I were chatting with the cashier about how busy the restaurant was and that we were new to the ATL area. This employee shared his/her experience of being a new employee and to ATL as well. During the course of the conversation, we mentioned that we'd leave them a great tip for their hard work, after which, the employee shared that FOH (cashiers), all of whom were African American at the time, are not included in tip sharing at the restaurant. We were shocked! This is absolutely discriminatory and unfair. The cashiers are working their butts off and to NOT be included in tip sharing is disgusting. The cashiers are taking care of the entire FOH so why aren't they included in the distribution of tips?? The cashier went on to mention that a customer left them a huge tip (over $100) but they wouldn't receive a dime of it. Lastly, the fact that Goldberg's complained to YELP instead of responding/refuting the negative review is quite telling. They've been exposed! DO BETTER and treat your employees fairly!

We came here for breakfast after running the Peachtree Road Race. I had been to a Goldberg's before, previously in Marietta. The concept was the same here: a combo of deli and restaurant. It was busy but we got a table. Service was fast. Plenty of options here with omelette and breakfast sandwiches being their specialty. I passed up a bagel in lox to get the chicken biscuit with gravy, and side of tomatoes plus coffee. My meal was ho-him. Biscuit was a little crispy, chicken could've been more tender and extra gravy would've been nice. I also didn't get many tomatoes. My friends French toast sandwich looked much better than mine, so I'd go with that next time or stick to the bagel in lox. Pricing wasn't bad. Overall, an ok visit. It's not a place I'd drive out of my way for but it did the job.

Last time we ate here it was the server,Richard who kept us from never coming back in again. Some of the staff need lessons in professionalism and communications. Maybe, Richard could teach this "staff" a few things. Cell phones being checked while customers are being ignored is a perfect reminder that waiting on customers may not be the job for some. Hair nets and gloves, these are a must and yet, I watched one waitress literally touch food that was going out to a table with kids after she was touching money moments prior. We were lucky to have Richard as our server. He actually took time to listen and made sure everything was perfect. It was nice also being checked on and having your unsweetened tea refilled without even having to ask.

This is my second time ordering from Goldbergs and I keep getting the same thing because it's so delicious! I get the veggie and hummus sandwich on an everything bagel ($7.99) and I add a side of hot turkey. It comes with sprouts, cucumbers, red and white onions,tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and hummus it's so so so good! It also comes with a side the choices are coleslaw, onion rings, steak fries, I can't remember the rest I always get the steak fries they're really good. I'll probably be ordering from them again in the future I want to try the brisket quesadillas next time.

Fried chicken sandwich has too much going on. There are many options on the menu so maybe another item has potential. I may go back to try pastrami. However, I would not go out of my way to come here. The place has dine- in options. I ordered at the meat counter and paid at a different counter. At the cashier, there are many delicious-looking baked goods for sale. Nearby, they have prepacked items and drinks available for purchase as well. Service is friendly. Plenty of parking in shared lot.

This has nothing to do with the servers, because they are the only good things your store has right now. Yesterday, the food was very inconsistent as it was too salty and had a lack of presentation. We couldn't find a manager to talk to, as there wasn't one we could find. Call me crazy but every other restaurant I go to, the manager interacts with ALL the guests. Now, my server did say the manager was up front. I did see two female employees up front but not sure what they do. I only saw them gossip with each other and glued on their phones when they weren't working the registers. The blonde lady looked like she didn't want to be there and looked very unapproachable when I was leaving. I asked around and found out the manager was named Karolina and she apparently was the blonde lady up front, so I knew speaking to her was pointless. If it wasn't for your waitstaff, which is always wonderful, I wouldn't step foot in your establishment.

This place is amazing. From the homemade bread and delicious Jewish delicacies, to the breakfast, to the flatbreads. Highly recommend the pancakes and French toast, as well as the Reuben sandwich, coleslaw, potato salad, and any meats from the deli. This is the real deal. Yum!!!!

OK so before I continue, I've been going to Goldbergs here in Buckhead for over 20 years. In general, I had been a fan of everything on the menu. At times some of the items came out of the two different kitchens were hit or mess other times, they literally had to be sent back, but then again I'm a long-term customer so I'm a partner with them in this and everything was OK. Well this morning I got matzoh ball soup, brisket on challah and fries, to go (UEats) which I've had before. The matzoh ball soup was good. The fries were good. The challah was outstanding, the brisket inside the challah was dried out and hard. As a matter fact, you know when you have a piece of meat, uncovered in the fridge, and the top of it becomes discolored and hard that's what was in my sandwich. I didn't realize till I was over half done with the first half. Needless to say, I finished everything else and 30 minutes later I was on the BOWL, on the bowl for the next hour, one hour on the bowl and bowled over, I literally got sick with what's known as violent diarrhea and dehydration, and dizziness from the diarrhea. I had called to speak to the manager when I first noticed, and then after I called when I came up for air from being sick.. I was not looking for any refund or any recognition just letting people know and letting the manager know they have to look at these things on a daily basis and Goldbergs it's not what it's all cracked up to be, they have a lot to be concerned with in the quality department. they've spent too much time "coasting "on their name and people are too silly not to complain and send back their food. never again.

This is our weekend go to after our kid's sports practice/game. The food is great but importantly the service is amazing. The staff is fast and friendly (which is rare in this post Covid period). Goldbergs always has a short line, but it moves very quickly so don't discouraged as it's worth the wait.

Just a disappointment from the service to the food.... I had a Spanish omelet and my husband had biscuits and gravy and a bagel. The egg in the omelet is not real eggs (you could tell). It tastes like rubber. Bagel was hard. Biscuits and gravy was probably the worst biscuits and gravy we've tasted. I can't even comment on the service... the owner needs to get her act together.

The breakfast dishes are better than average, and the service is quite prompt and pleasant. My complaint is about the bagels themselves, which at one time were some of the best in the ATL. Somehow over time they have ballooned into big round rings of bland bread. Not dense, not chewy, they are the Wonder Bread of bagels. I am concerned that the bakers are all gentiles. There are much better bagels to be had in Atlanta.

I've been to this location 4x. Here's 4 reasons why I would not recommend. 1. First day I came in an employee dug in her teeth with a hand that was without a glove. (Oh btw, not everyone wears gloves..) after digging for whatever she was searching to find, she put that same hand back into her glove and kept making sandwiches. Yum. I get you're wearing a glove but it's the principle. Wash your hand. 2. The attitudes are awful. I find this to be the case with people who dislike their job. I get it but that's not the customer's problem. If you're at the front counter or have any public-facing position, be pleasant. 3. No hair nets. Hair falls out all day long. It's normal, but a really nice hygienic way of making sure some of those stands don't end up stuck in your cream cheese, would be to pull the hair up and put a netting on. 4. The last time I visited, an employee I had tried to get the attention of, after being bounced from person to person waiting for my bagel breakfast sandwich that I had pre ordered on grubhub, looked at me like I had 3 heads like he didn't understand what I was saying. The same thing happened on another occasion and the employee actually told me she did not speak English. So my assumption was, perhaps the same could apply to him. In hindsight, she probably just didn't feel like working in that moment or servicing me. But needless to say, he misconstrued the question and had a bad attitude after. Regardless of my explanation. So I left. Called grubhub and got my money back. Final Takeaway: If you don't like a hassle to get food, don't like people who work in customer service and have unprofessional attitudes, and you value cleanliness, I'd pass on coming here. The food is good tho!! Just not worth everything else that comes with it.

First visit... Kena is the STAR of the restaurant! She is an excellent server, with a personality and smile to match. My breakfast was VERY good. My carving has been for french toast, so...I ordered it, with scrambled eggs and bacon, and a large orange juice. Delicious! I'm definitely going to return. There are more items on the menu I would like to try. Hopefully, Kena will be available. *The restaurant was clean, the staff wore mask and Covid protocol is in place.

Opens super early so I was able to grab a bite before work. Super friendly staff. Recommend Bagel Sandwiches for a yummy breakfast meal.

Popped in for a #1 bagel special sandwich in the takeout line. The posted sign indicated it was $7.99. It rang up at $8.99. I asked why it was a dollar more and the cashier said it was a dollar more on the weekends. I saw no indication of items being more on the weekends. I've never heard of a policy like this.

I have been here only once. The line was almost out the door but that doesn't really detract me. The line moved decently fast. It feels a bit crowded and there are lots of families so if you are looking for a quiet breakfast, this is not the place. I had the strawberry salad. It had too much dressing on it but other than that, it tasted ok. The service was just ok. If I come here again, I will try some sort of egg breakfast too see what they are really made of.

My star rating is based off their ONLINE order and pick up experience. The estimated wait time for Sun brunch pick up was 1.5 hours on Yelp. For background when we've gone IN PERSON for order and pick up, even at a busy time we have never waited that long...maybe 20 minutes. On top of that when we did finally get our order it was completely missing one of the meals we paid for. We had to drive back and they apologized for the miss. So we will not be using online anymore, I suggest they reconsider offering this service till they fix their kinks. This has been one of our go to places for a long time bc we love the food and experience
