Watch: Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center Serves Some of the Best NBA Food | Eater

"A solar-powered arena widely regarded as the league's most environmentally friendly, it operates with a community-first, local ethos: about 90% of the food is sourced within a 150-mile radius, unsold food is donated to local food banks, green waste is returned to feed local soil, and leftover fryer oil is recycled into diesel by a local family business. It also earns praise for its food offerings—considered among the best in the NBA—including handmade wood-fired pizzas, sushi, three varieties of handmade tortillas, and a broad selection of vegan options." - Eater Video

I recently visited Golden 1 Center in Sacramento for an event, and I had a great experience! The place is modern, clean, and well-designed. As soon as you walk in, everything feels organized and welcoming. One thing that really stood out to me was the sound and video quality—it was amazing. The audio was super clear, even in the upper sections, and you could feel the event without it being too loud or uncomfortable. The video screens were huge and super sharp, so no matter where you’re sitting, you can still see everything on stage clearly. That made the whole experience much better, especially during the live show. The seats were comfortable, and the arena felt spacious but still had a cozy vibe. Staff were helpful and polite, and there were lots of food options—everything from snacks to full meals, with some local choices too, which was nice. It’s also in a great location, right in downtown Sacramento, so you can walk to restaurants and parking is nearby. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Golden 1 Center for concerts, basketball games, or any big events. The technology, the atmosphere, and the energy of the crowd all make it a memorable place to visit!

I’ve been to several NBA arenas, and before I went to Golden 1 Center I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be my favorite but here we are. I almost always get nosebleed seats, so I was expecting the typical cramped, uncomfortable seats I’m used to, but here the seats were actually cushioned and pretty roomy. It didn’t hurt that it was a great game, but I would’ve had a great time regardless given how great the venue is. For a bonus, I even got to see them LIGHT THE BEAM! Definitely one of the more underrated arenas in the league.

I had a really good time at Golden1 Center watching the Kings. It is one of the most underrated arenas in the NBA, with an immaculate, open design along with comfortable seats and wide concourses. The crowd was great and really gave the team a boost and helped them LIGHT THE BEAM! The DOCO area puts this arena at a five-star for me. So many amenities and things to do before and after the game in terms of shopping and eats. I definitely recommend checking out a game here!

Had so much fun here for the Disturbed concert! We sat in section 209, and we enjoyed our seats very much. It is pretty steep up there, so it does get a little scary, but we still had an absolute blast!

Great areas for Conference and National Championships well spaced, Good Audio and visual equipment with state of the Art facilities, quality security services with good Air conditioning facilities.

A huge hall, it felt like I got into a scene from the Star Wars movie. Madonna’s concert is completely tasteless and vulgious, but the place itself impresses with its scale and grandeur.

Nice arena definitely of the older style feels more for derbies and monster truck events not a whole lot of variety for food

Attended a international convention here, the place is good but the downside was the upper level seats, way too narrow and uncomfortable not recommended for small children and older people or long legged persons. Large capacity though!
