"Tired-looking parents hauled growlers of beer from the Golden Road pub, maybe with a six-pack of Bud under their arm." - Meghan McCarron
"Golden Road Brewing’s new taproom is now open at 16390 Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, keeping hours from 11 a.m. to midnight or later daily. Beyond beers, the food menu includes everything from garlic knots and pizza fries to crab cakes, burgers, and sandwiches." - Farley Elliott
"LA-based Golden Road Brewing is making another significant move in Orange County this year, with a new small-batch brewery and full restaurant headed to the recently renovated shopping center known as Peter’s Landing. The forthcoming 8,000 square foot Orange County brewpub will maintain the established Golden Road flavor, with indoor and dog-friendly outdoor seating, corn hole, and bocce ball. There’s not only 30 to 40 taps available, but a seven barrel system for small-batch brewing. Accompanying the brewery is a full-service restaurant with pubby appetizers, pizza, and sandwiches. And just like the other Golden Road locations, they’ve provided plenty of vegan options for those avoiding animal products, a nod to former co-founder Tony Yanow’s vegan lifestyle. Yanow is no longer involved with the company, having founded the Artisanal Brewers Collective, opening up restaurants and brewpubs across Southern California." - Mona Holmes
"As of 2014, you can now drink alcohol at Grand Central Market. And while Golden Road lost a bit of its allure with its recent acquisition from Budweiser, it still has local appeal. Their 20-tap tasting counter is the perfect spot to take a breath in between food binges to down a glass or two of Wolf Among Weeds. They also have pierogies, and you shouldn’t be afraid to order one." - Brant Cox
