Ashley was amazing at our daughter’s 21st birthday celebration! We booked the lounge area for our guests and Ashley did fantastic managing all the orders and requests; not only for us and the celebrant, but all of our guests. With service like this, there is no doubt we will have future celebrations at this Golden Road location again. Beyond having a great atmosphere, Ashley and the others, that assisted in delivering our orders, made it such a wonderful experience.

Came here to watch game 7 of the NBA finals, the beers are really good, I love their wine based margaritas and the food hits the spot.

Chill expansive spot that’s good for some day drinking. Came here after cruising around on a Duffy boat and got a table indoors for our group of 7. Outdoor seating is also available. The view is really nice because you can see the mountains off in the distance behind the marina. They have little sampler glasses and they also have nonalcoholic options and food. I opted for the nonalcoholic kombucha, which drank fairly smoothly. There are restrooms available by the front entrance. Free parking available in the lot.

Cool venue with an excellent beer selection and some great food. The jumbo pretzel is an absolute must, one of the best I've ever had! Even on its own it was delicious, but then pair it with the house made beer cheese, and it's hard to stop eating it! The fried pickles were awesome, too, very lightly breaded thick chips with great flavor. Bacon wrapped shrimp were slightly smoky, sticky, savory-sweet glazed. Very good overall. Beer flight for the win with one of them being an experimental hop brew.

No bikes allowed in the patio. There is all kinds of cars, strollers and stuff but you cant get your bike in there cause it is unsafe. Disappointed after seeing the suppor that Glendale branch gives to the cycling community

They keep changing their menu and removing the best items. As a result, the food is overpriced and not as good. We used to come twice a month but stopped after they got rid of the pizza. We decided to give it another try and they changed their menu again, taking off the best items and replacing them with overpriced, not as good options.

Great beer, fun food, super wait staff. Thanks for a great night. Maddie our server was stellar. The yummiest was the Caprese chicken sandwich. All the beer was perfect.

This place has a great view with great food and beer. Let's get to the food review as I have so many good things to say. The hubs and I have been trying to come once a week to enjoy their happy hour. On Mondays it's happy hour all day and the rest of the week it's from 2-6pm. They have the best chili verde nachos! The chips alone are delicious, I don't know if they make them in house but they are delicious. The smash burger was good, perfectly seasoned. Tacos delicious and their Micheladas are so refreshing! Happy hour prices for those Michies are only $5 bucks. I can't even get a 2 scoop sundae at baskin robins for that price anymore! Highly recommend this place. It's one of my favs.

It was a Monday afternoon with nice sunny weather. This location was amazing because it overlooks the Huntington Beach Harbor with awesome views. Great way to start my morning having brunch by the water. Service was quick with a friendly server who always was attentive to our table. We had ordered the fried pickles to share as an appetizer. As for my meal, I ordered the fried avocados tacos with a beer on the side. Everything was delicious which I expected to be. Prices were on point not too expensive but just right. Good place to have lunch if you are in the neighborhood.

This salad was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I hadn't been back since they changed their menu and was absolutely amazed by this salad. The buratta was to die for!! The prosciutto with watermelon was an amazing combo. I would just have loved even more watermelon! Will definitely come back for this salad again soon

I've been wanting to come here and just never had the chance until me and my fiancé had the day off and told him let's go to the Golden Road brewery! The beers were tasty and so worth it! I have to say that artichoke dip with those pita slices was packed with flavor. Service was great!! Servers were always walking by so you can definitely grab their attention. I really like how the layout is, very neat and spacious

Came across this place randomly while scrolling yelp. I noticed the outside of the building looked familiar and the food pics looked AWESOME. Turns out I pass this place almost daily and have NEVER been. I'm so glad I tried it. It's tucked away in a little complex area right on the marina which gives it some beautiful views (they have some great outdoor seating overlooking all the beautiful boats and water) They have private parking up front. We came in and was told we could sit anywhere. Someone came out immediately and gave us our menus and was telling us about happy hour, specials and all the drinks there since it is a brewery Our server was Ashley (or Ashlee) and she was GREAT. Extremely attentive and FAST. She brought us our dipping sauces immediately before our food came, brought us out a container of water for the whole table, kept checking on us repeatedly every time she passed us and was such a sweet friendly person. We ordered a few things on the menu. Only one thing off the happy hour which was the smash burger for a special price and you can add on fries for an additional charge I was eyeballing those nachos though! But just came in for a light lunch before an apt. Their fried pickles were amazing. Came with this spicy jalapeño tasting ranch. ( all the food was amazing) they have so many things that I will have to come back and try. They have the perfect food for sharing with friends while having a few drinks overlooking the water P.S. the portion sizes were very generous To be fair my review is based off of Food Atmosphere And service. I didn't try any of the drinks Here so I can't comment on that

A couple of friends introduced me to Golden Road this weekend when we had lunch on the patio. The dog friendly patio is small and all the tables out there are high tops. It was clearly the place to be and all the patio tables were filled, mostly by people dining with their pups. Service was brusque. I'm not sure if they were understaffed but a couple of times our server walked away so quickly and without acknowledging us that I honestly wasn't sure if they'd heard anything we'd said. I had the crab cake sliders, which were ok but nothing special. We had the vegan garlic knots for the table and they were seriously lacking in garlic, but did have a nice pull apart bread texture. My friends enjoyed the avocado tacos and pepperoni pizza. Overall a decent experience.

After trying out the Anaheim & Eagle Rock locations, we finally got around to trying their Sunset Beach location. This one obviously has the best vibe out of all three due to their views of the harbor. They have a good specialty selection of drafts that aren't their normal flagship stuff, so I got to try a few things different. Food was good but a little pricey. Never had a problem with service at any of the three.

Great beer, great vibes. Amazing customer service by bar tender Austin! He made our time at Golden Road a good time.

I came here with my boyfriend for a date because he used to work at the Orange location. It was my first time at Golden Road, and I really like the atmosphere. The views are beautiful, and there's ample seating. We went on a Thursday night, so it was pretty empty, and they were pretty much closing by the time we got our food. I actually liked his drink (ride on tropical) more than mine (boysenberry ale) because it was fruitier. We both wanted to try the blueberry seltzer, but they were out. The lobster mac was okay, but I wished they used a different pasta. The lobster itself was bland, and the only redeeming quality was the cheesiness, I guess. Then, the poké (not pictured) was actually better than expected, but again, not the best-tasting dish I've had. It tastes healthy, but we didn't finish either, and personally, I only came for the drinks. But, I definitely want to go to another Golden Road to try out their menu! It was still a really incredible experience, and I do like their Mango Cart beers. I think it's a great place to come with a bigger party.

The food here is so good! I would choose this place for food over the other brewery down the way. Nestled right by the marina, you get a view of all the boats that are docked and can even take a kayak to this brewery! The garlic knots are the freaking best! Pizzas, tacos, sliders, and basically everything is good. It's hard to find fried pickles anywhere around here, but the fried pickles are here, and they are DELICIOUS! Mango cart is my go to here and anywhere else it's served. Mango cart on a hot summer day. Mango cart after a stressful week. Mango cart to ease my worries. Ordering process is your traditional way here. Menus are brought to you once you've found a table. Wait staff comes and takes your order, takes care of you from start to finish. Service has always been excellent here. Open space and lots of seating to accommodate large parties. No sunset views at this brewery, but if you cross the street to the beach, there you will find your sunset!

Cool place for good beer and food. Friendly service. Boats and ocean blue view. We had beer flights. Mango ipa was the best. Belgian white was my least favorite. Kids loved lobster mac and cheese! My beet salad was super. Perfect food and view and beer place! Recommend anyone. Family friendly!

Get the outdoor seating if you want a beautiful view of the marina. Got the Alpha Wolf and the Ride on Imperial IPA. Both tasty and strong. I enjoyed the ride on imperial more because I like hazy brews. Although the services was really nice. The glasses came out dripping and no napkins were served. So it was a messy situation.

It's the home of Mango Cart! Place is super spacious and beer is solid. The price on filling your kwoler (32 or 64oz) is amazingly cheap. Like stupid cheap.

Fun place, but a little loud. But, it's a brewery and there's TVs with sports on so we expected that. Nice selection of beer. I asked our server what he recommended for an amber beer. He recommended a red ale. I didn't get it, but my sister did and it seemed dark and heavy for an amber beer. Luckily I ended up ordering the Dodger Blonde, which I liked. We started with spicy chicken wings, fried calamari, and Brussel sprouts with pork belly. Loved the calamari and the cocktail sauce that it was served with. The cocktail sauce had a nice dollop of horseradish, delicious! We ordered fish and chips, classic burger, spicy clucker and the pub burger. All good, no complaints. The only complaints we had were the fries with the burger came out at room temperature, and the chicken wings were undercooked. After we mentioned this they readily brought fresh, hot fries and made us another order of wings. They also took the wings off of our bill which was nice. GREAT location and plenty of parking!

Always a fun time at Golden Road Seal Beach! Good service, good food and great views! Not a place you would go for fried pickles but they sure are awesome here!!!!

We absolutely love Golden Road! This location in particular because it overlooks the water! Their beer is so yummy and you can get a variety of rims. The staff is so sweet and attentive. They have a great amount of apps and food if you get hungry. The nachos and salmon tacos are my favorite. It's always a great time here. Their merch is also really cute

Second time visiting and will surely be coming back for more. It's great for drink with friends, happy hour, and even family dinner. The staff are very friendly and can provide recommendations off the menu and also from the multiple beers they have. The food was great both times and the beers are delicious. They're right by the marina and it makes for a great view and nice sunset pictures. They even have a kids menu, just ask. My favorite thing is that they have multiple vegan items, and even vegan dips. If you're vegan just ask as they can veganize almost anything!

We stopped in for a drink and a snack mid-afternoon on a Thursday. The place was pretty empty, just a few tables filled around the room which was nice, we wanted a spot to enjoy the view and chill after a hectic day. We chose a table inside next to the window with a wonderful view of Huntington Harbor. Our server stopped at the table as soon as we sat down. We ordered our drinks and the pizza pretzel. The drinks were great, Mr. B enjoyed the beer he chose and the pizza pretzel hit the spot. A giant pretzel that was crispy on the outside and very tender inside. The pretzel was topped with jalapeno slices, pepperoni slices and parmesan cheese. We had a beer cheese dip and marinara sauce for dipping each bite into. Service was great, food delicious and cold drinks, who could ask for more.

Golden Road Brewing in Huntington Beach is gorgeous! It has the views, perfect brewery interior, amazing selection of brews and surprisingly delicious food. Belly up to the bar, or grab a seat if you'd like table service. For beautiful ocean and boat views, grab a seat at a table. On gorgeous days, the sun just glimmers outside on the water. So lovely! Golden Road is known for their tasty fruit beers but it's hard to go wrong with any of their suds. They are so well experienced in the craft beer game, I hardly ever have a bad drink from them. I'm a beer chick and am pleased with their consistency. Obsessed! Some of my favorite beers from Golden Road: -Mango Cart is a classic. -Palisades Pineapple is such a fruity gem. -The Big Hazy Wolf is a heavy hitter at 9% but this imperial ipa is juicy and fruity. Nomz. What I didn't get expect was for the food to be genuinely good at Golden Road, too! And it surely was. The fries were addictable. And the meatball sliders I'd be down to get every time I'm in. Just $15 and beyond filling with "beer braised meatballs, house made marinara, provolone beer cheese and mozzarella cheese & garlic pesto aioli on brioche buns" - that's from their site and I couldn't describe it any better. Delish! As if I didn't love Golden Road tons already, in the bathroom they have a sign for people in case they need help after drinking too much. Love and appreciate that so much! Golden Road is the epitome of the SoCal beer scene for good reason. They been in the game for ages and do everything right. Highly recommended!

Part of the Mothers market shopping center. All parking spaces I saw had time limits, but not sure if they're actually enforced. Golden Road has indoor and outdoor seating (dog friendly outside), with a view of the harbor. There's also a play area right next door for kids, but you're not supposed to bring your drinks out there. Full service, sitdown restaurant. There's also bar seating and tons of TVs for sports. Fast and friendly service. We had a large party for a bday, and they accepted a reservation for that. We were able to split the bill a few ways, which was nice. Party mix of fries (includes sweet potato and two sauces), fish tacos (comes with three and made with salmon, which is unique), bacon wrapped shrimp (small, and only 5 pieces), and three beers totaled around $80 including tax and tip as of Oct 2023 and was enough for two adults and a toddler. Everything was great and easy to share, which was done purposefully on our part.

Great spot. Awesome beer. Happy hour. Will be returning often! The service has also always been been exceptional.

This brewery is down the street from where I live, one day we finally checked it out. We sat outside and there was a nice view of the marina on a nice day. We had the nachos and the calamari. The calmari portion is very tiny, I've never seen such tiny bits of calamari in other restaurant. The nachos made up for it. The short rib and cheese on it was delicious. The nachos come on a sheet platter so its sharable between two or three people. As for drinks, I had an imperial IPA. I had two of the 16oz and I was ready to go! Awesome place to hang out and have get togethers it seems. Service was friendly and the food came out quick. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. We still got a nice seat outside after a fifteen minute wait. Worth coming back here.

Beer is a excellent but overpriced for a pint. The salmon tacos were delicious. Decent beer variety.

Love golden road. The Ambiance is great, even if youre with kids. The food is delicious - nachos and burgers were so good. Our server was really friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the guava cart and the micheladas were tasty.

This Golden Road in HB is not like the one in Anaheim. This one is a lot smaller and the brewery vibes aren't really there. Maybe because we went on a Sunday night. Food and drinks are typical. But definitely prefer the Anaheim one over the HB one. Service is ok, does overlook the water ish lol

This place is a rare find! The views are amazing and the service is impeccable! Not to mention the menu..I am a beer lover and that can be overwhelming at a brewery. The bartenders here are alllll solid and will give you tasters based on your preferences. I decided on the Tropical IPA and it got better with every sip! Now I come back often to work and catch the gorgeous view and chill vibes. Highly recommend!

I definitely like this place! I much prefer the vibe here in comparison to Ballast Pointe. Less of a scene, and much more of a beachy laid back vibe. Nice view of the marina and boats, and the salty air. My wife and I had a good lunch with some tasty salmon and avocado tacos. I had a beer flight and decided that I liked the guava ipa the best. I'm going to convince my coworkers to do happy hour here soon. It's very close to our campus and has easy parking.

Good beers, nice views -- overall a great place to hang out at! I've been to the Anaheim location and had a good time there so decided to try this location. We came on a Monday afternoon and they had some happy hour deals: $2 off beers and $2 off pretzels. I wish the happy hour menu was bigger since the only food on there was pretzels. We ended up only taking advantage of the beer discount and we ordered a plate of sweet potato fries! You get two sauces with it and was a great snack alongside the beers. The service here was amazing! The staff walked us through the different beers they had and frequently came in to check in on us throughout our time there. This location is nice and is rice by the beer. But it's smaller than the Anaheim location.

I am giving two stars for the service as well as the food. I would definitely not recommend this place for weekend brunch! The only thing great was the view, sadly.... first off, the selection of options was so minimal I ended up not eating. My friends got the breakfast combo. Which was some frozen trader Joe's waffles and their hashbrowns. Along with bacon and two undercooked eggs!

Great place to grab a bite and few drinks... reasonable prices with wonderful service. We've been here twice and so far everything turned out as expected. It's located in a nice area .. pretty quiet ... looking out the marina with whole lot of boats. Very relaxing. Food and drinks so good as well. Highly recommend this place :)

Food is really good here and the best part dogs are allowed on the patio. Please only bring well behaved dogs to keep this option open for dog owners. Service was good although I felt like sometimes they would forget to check on people out on the patio. Kind of out of sight out of mind. Although once we captured the servers attention our food and drinks came out quickly. Seashore relaxes atmosphere so board shorts and tee shirts are welcome. You can even bring your boat here to eat. Highly recommend the Guava Cart although they are ending that one the Mango Cart is pretty good as well.

Great happy hour deal on pints! Unfortunately the sour on tap didn't qualify for the deal, but the boysenberry Wheat was our favorite!

We had a group of 4 arrive for my Bday. We were told by the Manager Steven that the place was closed for a private party. Even though we are used to coming here, they didn't want to allow us to use the restroom and Steven was pushing us out the door. Steven refused to allow the event coordinator to give her name. I was a loyal patron until tonight

I would like to have given this a better rating because of the beer Mango Cart, but the management and staff have a lot to learn. For starters, we sat at the bar...3 bartenders, one servicing the opposite side of the bar, another servicing table orders and a third servicing our side of bar. The bartender doing table orders was in front of us several times, never glancing up at us to acknowledge that we were sitting right in front of him. The bartender servicing our side didn't pay attention to us until we hand motioned for service. She didn't seemed interested in serving us and more in conversing with the other servers. After finally being served, we went to a table for lunch. Our server was so-so. Again, didn't seem thrilled with his job. The floors were dirty with food, napkins and coasters under many tables. In fact, one of the bussers, not a youngster, kicked a dirty napkin under the table next to us while clearing it along with a couple French fries. I thought for sure he'd return to sweep it but instead people were seated. Yuck!!!!! Near the front entrance we're the restrooms. The men's in clear sight when entering front door. There lying next to men's room door was a dirty rag and paper towels. I was also told there was quite a 'mess' on one of the toilets. After the manager was noticed of this, he shrugged and seemed irritated to be bothered. He did absolutely NOTHING about it. It was that way for the entire time we were there (1 1/2 hours). The women's bathroom was pretty dirty as well. Disappointing and definitely will not.... Be back. Too bad because the beer and food was pretty good

Came in at 9:20 and the bartender Austin was super dope. Offered food and I dropped my drink and he quickly replaced it. Staff also helped me clean it up. They are all super nice and really know how to go above and beyond with making you feel welcomed. I definitely recommend visiting this brewery!

We had such a great experience here. We had the nachos, Caesar salad, burger and fried pickles. The nachos were my favorite--so much great flavor and I love how unique they are. I haven't ever had anything like them. They're also HUGE. So make sure to have some buddies with you for sharing if you get them. The guava cart and their IPAs are my favorite. The view of the marina outside is gorgeous. They gave our busy little toddler a coloring page which was so helpful. Our waiter was awesome--really kind, patient and attentive. I really loved our little trip here and can't wait to come back for another visit.

We went there for brunch and ordered beet salad and salmon , also ordered taco salad. Food was tasty and staff is friendly. Rest room are clean. Plenty of parking is available. Every Saturday there is live music. Will go back there again.

The beautiful view made it worth it, and the great service has me thinking of taking the drive back for a visit. The poke bowl was delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and it kept me wanting more. I went on a weekday where it was not overly crowded, and you get to sit yourself. I found seating outside. Who wouldn't want to be outdoors on a beautiful day in Cali!

Picked up takeout and had a beer. Austin provided great service and beer recommendation.

Hit the road, head to Golden Road Brewing for gorgeous Huntington Harbor views, great customer service, and good food with a good price. Golden Road Brewing offers affordable dining, the IPA battered salmon tacos tote a rainbow-like glow, and come stuffed with jalapeño-cilantro cream, jalapeño slaw, mango pick de gallo, and pickled red onion, with a lime to twist, of course, and, did I mention, they are mouthwateringly good? Whether for a sea side snack after a surf session, or a pint with friends, take the Golden Road less traveled as you cruise through Sunset Beach.

Easy parking lot, great views, good beer and decent food! Love that this place can accommodate larger groups. Inside is nothing fancy, but it works!

One of my favorite food spots now! Haven't tried their beers but I loved everything about this restaurant - the service, interior, and meals. We got the poke, garlic knots, and house salad as appetizers and shared the wild shroom with cauliflower (my absolutely favorite)and the healthy junk pizza (vegan) among 5 girls, which was perfect. We had a wonderful time playing board games inside and we made a reservation beforehand for a party of 10. The servers was awesome and the food was great - will most definitely return in the near future.

A much different ambiance compared to the popular Anaheim location! It's much smaller and has less outside seating. The perk of this location is that it's located right on the water. Go ahead and order an IPA with a great view with friends! There is plenty of seating, and it's perfect for groups. I came here to watch a sports game with a buddy. We sat at the bar, and one bartender took care of us. She was slow serving us, and getting her attention to order took me a while. Not a massive fan of their popular Mango Cart, so I tried their Big Hazy Wolf Hazy and Ride on Tropical IPA. I recommend both; I just got tired of the sweetness of the Tropical. The fried avocado was terrific, had great flavor, and felt light! I 100% would get that again.

It pains me to write this as the location can't be beat. Parking is easy. Food? Not so much. Stick to appetizers and you'll be fine. Entrees are absolutely not worth it. Steak fritas were terrible. Salmon was ok. Brussels were too al dente. The burger was meh. The beer is good and I think appetizers would be fine. The view of the harbor from every seat in the house is amazing. If I go again I'll get pizza and wings. Hopefully I can update my review with a better experience.

I never knew this location existed. It can definitely be missed from the main street. Although, kinda hidden it is a great location. The staff is great here too. Our guy, helped suggest what to try out which was a plus because we have our favorites, but never tried outside of them. My go to was the Vanilla Rice they had on tap that day. Definitely tasted like a horchata or Cinnamon Toast Crunch taste to it. I also ordered The Pub Pretzel and it was yummy. It is shareable so definitely keep that in mind. Along with the pretzel, I ordered fries to share with my boyfriend too. The brewery is located on Peter's Landing. You can see all the boats parked on the marina from the brewery so it is a sight to see. Next time we come, we will drive our boat over to the brewery and enjoy a drink before heading home. I can't wait!!!

Come here a few time through the last couple of years. It's decent. Good beer selection, good food and nice atmosphere. Love that I can paddle up to the public docks and then enjoy lunch here.

We had our wedding reception here on 10/10 and everything from the planning to the day of was absolutely amazing. I would like to thank Melissa Duran and the two servers (can't remember their names) who worked the party from the bottom of our hearts. We had so many guests tell us what a great time they had from food to service. Thank you Golden Road for making our day so special. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have a large gathering / celebration
