Golden Saba Seafood Now Serving Colorful Dumplings in SF’s FiDi - Eater SF
"Bright red xiao long bao and other vividly colored dumplings are now available in the Financial District thanks to Golden Saba Seafood. It’s now open at 646 Washington Street, the former Oolong Noodles Restaurant space. Golden Saba takes a nontraditional approach to dim sum, with a compact menu focusing on xiao long bao (filled with pork or tom yum soup), siu mai and har gow (available with classic fillings or lobster), potstickers, bao, and noodles. Dessert buns can be filled with taro, green tea, or custard. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Janelle Bitker
Wow this restaurant impressed us. An authentic sit-down dim sum experience with an extensive menu. We tried four dishes that were all delicious. Whole meal was $35 which seemed reasonable. Our server was helpful, friendly, and polite and offered great recommendations. We want to go back again soon!

Golden Saba Seafood serves great value dim sums. We ordered the pork and sampler xiao long baos recommended by the waitress and they were absolutely magnificent. There was plenty of juice oozing out with fat inner filligs. Pork buns were also super uber fantastic with confetti hits inside the mouth. The buns were also glazy, soft and chewy. Great service (the waitress gave extra soups for the whole family). This place is a hidden treasure house. Must visit shop for dim sum lovers.

Amazing dim sum! We suggest you make a reservation. Price a very low for the quality of food. Lots of locals, which is a good sign. Excellent service and food. Highly recommended. Unfortunately our last night in town, otherwise we would have come back.

We had a great time here. The food was excellent and unique. The Dungeness crab on top of the fried rice had crunchy pieces with crab flavors seeping into the fried rice. Tom yum goong Xiao long pao was nice as well. I like how they put aluminum foil under the paos to keep the soup together.

I was staying at the Hilton Hotel across the street just enjoying the view when I noticed an Asian man walked out of this location, he walked up to the top roof and hung fish out and just left it there. I think that's very unsanitary. Im guessing that's what they serve here. I definitely will not be eating here ever.

Some of the best dim sum i’ve ever had! The golden prawn from the recommended list is amazing, and the lobster dim sum with caviar is epic too.

This place is a pretty good dumpling restaurant. The food was good, we did not wait a lot.
We were on a round table with a moving plate, we ordered a lot and shared. And for 12 it was not really expensive.
