19 Places for Primo Pizza in Denver

"When one of Denver’s best bakeries gets into the pizza game, odds are they’re going to win. Naturally leavened and cold bulk fermented overnight, Good Bread’s dough is already proving to be the stuff of cult followings, whether topped with garlic cream, caramelized shallots, and parsley or cupping pepperoni, mascarpone cream, and hot honey: Dining reservations for Thursday and Friday nights only go like hotcakes (or rather hot pies)." - Gigi Sukin, Paul Albani-Burgio, Ruth Tobias

We really enjoyed our morning at Goodbread this past weekend! The croissants and pastries are all delicious and the latte was really nice as well. Loved sitting outside on the shaded porch and having coffee with some high quality breakfast treats. Dog friendly and a good vibe all around.

Christina

Google
The pastries here were okay. The almond chocolate croissant was super dense, and I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate they chose. The ham and cheese pastry was kind of bland, though the bit of salt was a nice touch. The leek and Parmesan one had a flavor and texture I didn’t really enjoy, and the morning bun, while it had a nice texture, felt like it was missing something. Nothing was bad, but nothing really impressed me either.

Justin

Google
I've tried them all, and this is the best bakery in Denver. Everything is excellent and the menu seems to rotate. Lavender chocolate chip cookies are my favorite consistent item, but they're a bit weird, so I could see them being off-putting.

Ebenezer Chelliah

Google
Decent bakery, but definitely not worth the price. The chocolate croissant was okay, the ganache was a little too acidic and bitter. The almond croissant was quite dense. The cream filling for donuts was too salty. For $7 a piece, I was expecting it to be close to perfection.

Dakota

Google
Super friendly. Even asked what our plans were for the day. It was our first time. I do recommend and I will be returning especially since they said they will be selling pizza next week . The line can't get long but nothing crazy

Google
We went to pizza friday with a group of friends last night and we all tend to like sourdough, thin crust, Neapolitan style pizza. We all agreed this was possibly the best pizza we’ve had in Denver. The crust was tangy and chewy, the sauce acidic and sweet. Cannot recommend the cheese and pepperoni variations enough. The salad was fresh and delicious too. Nice indoor and outdoor dining area. Service was very friendly and very slow, they said they were short staffed. Can’t wait to go back.

LS Sheldon

Google
Exceptional! Everything here was just perfect. Try the lavender chocolate chip cookie for a real treat—the floral notes with the chocolate really work. The sound of breaking pastry was music to my ears when biting into the ham and gruyere croissant 🥐 . Looking forward to tasting the rest of my haul. Friendly staff and clean set up. Can’t wait to return!

Google
My most favorite bakery in Denver!! Always so happy. Morning buns, breads, baguette, donuts - all perfect, fresh and so delicious. Very kind and nice customer service 🤗

Yelp
*This review is strictly for the wood-fired pizza they offer on Friday evenings from 5-9.* My husband and I had a hankering for pizza and were walking down Colfax heading to a different pizza joint when the wood-fired oven chugging away outside caught our eye. We immediately veered off our path to investigate. So glad we did!! They had a few different types of pizza to choose from, all of which sounded delicious (I'll be coming back for the kimchi). We opted for the classic pepperoni and vodka with sausage - both were perfect. The bake was amazing, the ingredients high quality and they tasted unbelievable. The prices were also fair - we had plenty of leftovers to take home. I love when spots like this change their game up - i.e. a bakery doing pizza once a week. It's fun and at least in the case of Good Bread, is a great success! We will absolutely be coming back

Yelp
Just the most perfect, satisfying and flavorful tomato croissant with bacon. Absolutely to die for!

Yelp
Amazing pastries, bread and Pizzas. Always have a great experience here. Great service too.

Yelp
Stopped here after running some errands over the weekend because I wanted some pastries for breakfast. I got here around 10:30 and the options were already pretty limited, which was a good sign! I was the only one in line when I walked in, so the person behind the counter was super friendly and walked me through all of the remaining pastries and products. I ended up getting an almond croissant - when I asked what he recommended between the cardamom bun and chocolate croissant, he generously offered to give me both, with one being on the house. Really great first time experience and service - have to say, the almond croissant was definitely my favorite! Excited to try some of their sourdough next time I'm in (and it's available).

Yelp
we've been customers of lula rose, little lula, and good bread for years. but had never made it to friday night pizza before. i knew it was going to be good, but we were blown. blown away. they have salad, pizza, wine, beer, and cocktails. take away or dine in my partner had a glass of house red, and i had two delicious aperol spritzs. the salad was incredible. it was romaine which was perfectly coated with a creamy italian dressing. there were tiny crispy chunks of crispy prosciutto and pecorino cheese. it was the best salad i tasted in the year 2024 ha ha we ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra sauce and the white funghi. the pepperoni was to die for, and the funghi had big chunks of mushrooms and yellow squash (butternut squash maybe?). there were two of us, and the pizzas were bigger than we thought. we could have easily gotten by with one. But then we had 2-3 more small meals at home from the leftovers. the crusts were perfect. just a little char around the edges. their bread is always authentic and reminds me of italy. probably because they mill their own effing flour! so glad we finally made the pizza night. we ordered one cheese pizza the next friday (takeaway) just to have some in the fridge :-)

Yelp
Unbelievably delicious baked goods. High recommend any of their doughnuts and the almond croissant. So yum!

Yelp
the first legit bakery I visited when I moved to Denver, and it's been one of my favorites ever since. I don't make it to that side of town often, but when I do, I always try to stop by! (Pro tip: there's usually a line, so get there early!) What I ordered: On this trip, I got an almond croissant, a ham and Gruyère croissant, a chai donut, and their jambon beurre. I've also tried their bagels, assorted donuts, danishes, and their Friday pizzas (yes, pizza!). Best bite: Everything here is delicious, but here is where I first discovered the jambon beurre, and it remains my favorite to this day. The quality of the jambon and butter is outstanding, and paired with a crunchy, freshly baked baguette, it's just chef's kiss. ‍ Get it now! you won't regret it!

Yelp
Beautiful little bakeshop on Colfax. They are not open M-W and sell out early on the days they are open due to popularity, so I went early on Friday morning. The selection is quite large and unique with some rotating specials. We tried the Kimchi pastry which was unique and tasted spicy as expected. My standard for judgement is the Pain Au Chocolate - very fresh ingredients and prepared well. Two things I may change is that the inside was a bit doughy and not fully cooked. Also, there was an overpowering salty taste and I saw the top appeared to be sprinkled with sea salt. Not necessary and detracts from the taste. The almond croissant was perfection and I was lucky to taste it while still warm. The staff was very friendly and I do plan to go back regularly and try new items.

Yelp
Get your fresh bread from here, simple. Place is small, located off colfax. Gets busy quickly. Staff super friendly. Their bread is superb. Also tried a croissant which frankly was nothing special, wasn't bad but there are better spots for pastries around town. I would definitely return here for a loaf
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
Walked past good bakery and had to stop- has a cute patio setting outside for individuals to enjoy their food. Service was quick upon arrival. Opens at 8 and closes once they sell out, we arrived at 10:45 AM and they were closed to selling out, had about 10 pastries left and some pieces of loaf bread. Recommend to bring family/friends who are out of town here! Close to the highway to head to boulder adter

Yelp
Ok I love this place. I think that their pizza is overpriced and not worth it, but their pastries are absolutely the best in Denver. I would only be able to give it 4 stars because their pizza is not my favorite. I will also say I have gone a lot, and sometimes the staff is not very nice, but also everyone has bad days. When they have the brioche with the apple filling get it their donuts are also my favorite. Several times I have gone and left with warm pastries fresh out of the oven. Heaven. Sadly, The pizza is always better found somewhere else.
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
Good pastries, ok prices except for a loaf of bread for $17. I laughed so hard and left that behind. Are people really paying those prices?! Good place for a party treat, but only Thursdays through Sundays. Plenty of other great bakeries in town.
google avatar

Magda C.

Yelp
Very good pastry, flaky and fresh, I wish I could have tried all of them. The roasted carrot one had very little filling that's why only 4 starts today. I will go back even if it's far away from me.

Nissi O.

Yelp
Waited almost 2 hours for a to-go pizza, was not advised that the wait would be that long. Would've been fine with the wait if I was at least notified ahead of time

Yelp
I've been searching for a good loaf of sourdough since moving to Denver six months ago. I realize that baking at this elevation requires skill and Good Bread Bake shop hits alll the high notes. The sourdough is soft inside and crunchy outside; their other baked goods are just as delish! Plus the bakers are fun and always playing some fun tunes. I tend to go on Sundays right when they open at 8:00am, otherwise they will sell out. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This took over the #2 spot in my bakery list The ham and cheese croissant is the best I've tried in Denver across 2 other bakeries I know I've had other ham and cheeses at. The rest of them must of all blended together The chocolate almond wasn't bad, a lot of chocolate and almond paste filling also I'm not a fan of sliced almonds topping most things. Maybe a salad The cookie was pretty huge and had the right bite: crispy edges then a soft middle. Greatness I just had the salt bagel this morning it's definitely better than a Costco bagel. And the cream cheese they sell seems whipped so you can save your wrist from hardened cream cheese spreading. You have enough to deal with in the morning

Yelp
Amazing food! We had the scramble toast and breakfast sandwich for brunch. The scramble toast had super fluffy eggs and had a great addition of crème fraiche, dill, and salmon roe. The salmon roe was a bit small and hard but to be fair it's not a sushi restaurant doin not going to say too much about that. I thought my bread was cut too thick and was a bit too toasted to the point of being burnt. However, the dish as a whole with the well dressed salad on the side was delicious. The breakfast sandwich had wonderful bread and bacon on it, the eggs were not as fluffy. We also tried the kimchi cheddar danish, the croissant, and the passion fruit chocolate cruffin. The danish was worked super well together and was great. I thought the taste of the sweet cheese in the middle was strange at first with the kimchi but as I ate it, the flavors melded better together. The passion fruit cruffin was amazing! The best cruffin I've ever had! There was so much filling and it wasn't too sweet. The passion fruit part had so much flavor and was super tart but delicious. The chocolate croissant was a solid croissant. Great layers, flakiness, and loved the addition of flaky salt on top. Can't complain there. Service was decent but it did take them like 20 minutes to bring our food out and the eating part wasn't particularly crowded. We got there around 9:30 on Sunday and everything was in stock except two pastries that had fruit filling. By the time we left around 10:30-11 everything was almost sold out except the bagels and some loaves of bread. The parking situation is small but the lot wasn't full and we got a spot. There was quite a line sometimes but it seems like most people get pastries to go rather than eat them there. Eating spaces were spacious and clean.

Yelp
This is a gem that we happen to live within walking distance to. Be ready to arrive right at opening time to get your pick of laminated heaven before they start running out. You can't go wrong with anything they offer, but I personally love love love the cardamom bun. It's drizzled in just the right amount of cardamom syrup with the perfect ratio of crispy outer crust and buttery soft crumb. Don't overlook the savory items, which include their stuffed croissants, sandwiches and other pastries. Lastly, don't forget to take home some bread!! They do half-loaves, and your future self will thank you profusely

Yelp
Best bread in Colorado by far! Love this place. Perfect sourdough and almond croissants.

Yelp
Words can't describe how wonderful this bake shop is!! I came here in preparation for a brunch of 5 people at someone's home, and since I don't cook, this expensive purchase was my contribution. Yes, the pastries are pricy but totally worthwhile. As they advertise, get here EARLY because the line gets long and the goods run out... then they close altogether. Good mix of sweet and savory options. Flavors are pretty subtle so nothing too overpowering. My favorite was the flaky roll topped with za'atar seasoning. Most people visiting Good Bread walked out with a small box of 2-3 pastries, and the bakers even commented how lucky my group of friends was for an entire box. They were a huge hit at the brunch and everyone was impressed!

Yelp
A superb understated bakery. You will easily drive pass the house like structure off of East Califax. I had my ham and cheese croissant at a nearby park, and I couldn't wait to dig into my other items. Flaky fluffy goodness to start any day. I had their "Cara Cara?" for afternoon tea, and it was fantastic. Brioche like texture with frangipane topped with pistachios and an orange slice. As tasty as it looks. I had their crusty country loaf and it was perfect for sandwiches. They also have a selection of doughnuts. Easy parking with the front lot, but easy to miss so look for the sign. Your only disappointment will be if they are closed or sold out. Open half the week and once they are sold out, they close. I got there at 10 AM on a Thursday, and most items were still available. More of take out type of place.
google avatar

Bec O.

Yelp
I am a devoted fan of their bakery and finally made a resy for their Thursday/Friday pizza night and I was not disappointed. The pizza is simply delish with amazing crust and loaded with pepperoni and sausage. Serious so good. We also ordered the salad which was also good. I felt as if the pizza is a hybrid of NY and Neapolitan. A few comments - it was hot as shit dining and please have a larger water container with COLD water. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is nothing and hot. You walk in and confirm your reservation and the host tells you your table #. Take a menu, sit down then walk to register and order. You will also pay at register on your way out. Nothing fancy or high tech - just solid pizza.

Yelp
A perfect start to our Saturday. The line was at least 10 customers long when we got here around 8:20, but the service was quick. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on all of the pastries. We ended up going with a Lemon Poppy Cruffin and a Pan au Chocolat, in addition to a Brie and Honey sandwich. All of the ingredients on the sandwich were fresh, with the flavors beautifully complementing each other. The baguette was crispy, but almost a bit overdone. Biting into it was tough on the teeth, and chewing it up the crispy edges were stabbing you in the mouth. The Pan au Chocolat was delicious. The filling in the cruffin on the other hand was a bit too much, it was extremely sweet, and the quantity of it made it hard to enjoy the croissant element of the pastry, making me wish I had ordered a morning bun to enjoy the simplicity. I will be back to try the other delicious creations this place has to offer!

Yelp
A great pastry shop in Denver! Taste: 4, Value: 4, Atmosphere: 3, Environment: 3 This is a cute little pop up bakery on Colfax that is open from Thurs-Sunday. All of their pastries are sourdough-based so not the typical buttery French pastry texture/flavor. There are a few tables you can sit outside at. Sometimes there is quite a long wait and things run out fast (especially the things they post on their Instagram so come early at opening if you want to snag one of these!) I've gone here a couple of times - My favorite pastries so far have been ham and Gruyere croissant and then spanakopita. The ham and gruyere croissant is flavorful with a good amount of filling. The dough is nice and layered, but cooked a little too crisp occasionally. The spanakopita has a generous savory cheese filling with a nicely layered puff pastry (they often change the inside flavoring of these savory danishes which is . My boyfriend liked the lingonberry doughnut (beware if you've never had lingonberry before it is very sour) and the amount of filling is very generous. Their crullers and morning buns are just okay. Overall, a decent pastry shop in Denver, but go at opening if you don't want to have a long wait and want the best pastry selection
google avatar

Ivy B.

Yelp
I came here after a light snowstorm while there was still a chill in the air. I was pleasantly surprised there was no line but I imagine the weather is the reason why. They had a bunch of cute pastries and I asked the cashier for some recommendations. He said the ham and Gruyère was one of the most popular so I took that advice. Really good! Flaky and buttery but not overly greasy. Coffee was also rich and delicious but not overly dark. Prices weren't cheap but I felt like they were fair, given inflation and the market today.
google avatar

Melissa Z.

Yelp
Holy moly! Run don't walk! Pastries are amazing and so are the sandos! Yes, you might have to wait a little bit because they have a line because they are THAT GOOD! can't wait to go back when they have pizza out! Yum!
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Literally the best almond croissant I've ever had and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to stop by and get another one...!

Yelp
My husband was a regular at Lula Rose before the pandemic, and he enjoyed the pastries and breads that Gabby baked for the coffee shop. So when they opened Good Bread, we were excited to try it out. I was a little skeptical, though. Waiting in long lines for food seemed to have become a pandemic hobby for some. While I knew the folks behind good bread were talented, I assumed the long lines and daily sold out bakery were just part of this new trend of flocking to the newest place. So we waited a bit before going. Eventually, my husband went and waited in a line a couple of times, and he LOVED the donuts and sweet treats he picked up. I saw on IG that by mid-morning the lines subside. Sure, some selections are sold out, but I was willing to risk that. We headed over late one day and still saw plenty of things we wanted to try. The turkey and sauerkraut croissant (with rye flour?) was flaky and savory and delicious. The pizza slices were so good we ate them in the parking lot before we even left. We made plans to return the next day with friends for more. The lesson in this story: go to Good Bread Bake Shop. Whether you head over early and wait in line for the biggest selection, or you sleep in and stop by for an early lunch, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I got in line on a Saturday at around 8:15 and made it into the shop a bit after 9:20. Once I stepped in, I was shocked to see just how many yummy options there were in such a tiny space, between bread, bagels, donuts, pastries, and pizza! I got a chocolate croissant ($4.50), a glazed carrot and ricotta savory danish ($5.25), and snagged the last morning bun ($4.50). The savory danish was a last minute addition at the recommendation of a staff member, and it ended up being my favorite by far! The morning bun was also tasty and had the perfect hint of citrus, but the chocolate croissant was not the best I have had -- it was more cake-like and less flakey than I am accustomed to, but the sprinkle of salt on top was a fun twist! Parking was not an issue. There is a lot right in front of the pop up, and there is plenty of free street parking nearby. The line did move painfully slowly, as each party seemed to take about ~5 mins inside before the next was able to enter. If I were to come back, I would grab a coffee across the street first at Lula Rose and bring a friend to make the wait less dull!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
I am always trying to find the best bakery in Denver and Good Bread is pretty high on the list. Like all the others, expect a slow moving line even early on weekday mornings. They still only allow one party inside at a time. Lavender chocolate chip cookie: I wouldn't recommend this, it tasted more like a grocery store cookie than a cookie from a bakery. Pandan coconut cream cruffin: this was my favorite item. It was very good - the filling was light and not too sweet. Almond peach bostock: I enjoyed this one too! I was surprised to see they charge $.40 for the box. Not super thrilled about hidden fees like this. I saw another customer bring her own container so I suppose you could do that.
google avatar

Zach S.

Yelp
As a Public Service Announcement, Good Bread now serves pizza on Thursday and Friday nights and it is fantastic! They already had great baked goods, but now that they are also doing a pizza dinner option, it has taken them to the next level. They do both round pies and pizza squares, each with their homemade dough, and it each are fantastic. the pizza dinner is by reservation only, so be sure to stay on top of their Instagram so that you can snag a spot and try the pizza! But also stopping by during their regualr bakery hours wont disappoint either.
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
Loooooove Good Bread! Ive been here now for Pizza Friday and on a Sunday morning for brunch, and I recommend both! The host during brunch was so helpful and funny and made me feel good about ordering almost anything-- as she should have been, because everything I tried was excellent! The pizza and the garlic knots were delicious-- the hot honey was a game changer on those knots! I highly recommend sitting on the patio if possible, as the inside can get a little dark. The benefit of being right near City Park is also a huge plus!

Betty B.

Yelp
So good. Really nice people who take pride in what they're making. The almond croissant was WOW. I took the baguette to a party and sliced it up and put olive oil and salt and it disappeared amidst "ooh"s and "yum"s. Will be back!
google avatar

Kylie S.

Yelp
An amazing place in the neighborhood to grab a bite in the morning and cross the street for some good coffee. All the pastries I've had have been delicious, there have been a few that are more 4/5 but others that are 7/5. Sometimes the wait is long but it's worth it!

Nicole D.

Yelp
I have loved this place and they have truly quality baked goods but I don't think I'll be coming back after my experience today. I know to get there early, and I was stoked to find there was virtually no line right after open. While in-line I watched two people in-front of me ask if there will be lunch sandwiches and being written off by staff. The second person being told 'maybe in a few minutes if you wait' but she has already paid and was visibly frustrated with the interaction from the staff members. From watching that I know how to pivot and ask to wait for one of the lunch sandwiches and convey that I'm happy to wait because I planned ahead and got in early. Once I get the item I immediately realize I'm given the wrong order, no big deal. I immediately conveyed there was a miscommunication to the employee and that I thought I ordered the lunch sandwich. The response was a cold 'yea no we don't have that' and they walked immediately back inside. Maybe this person was having a bad day but it really didn't feel great.. I really feel that I tried to ask simple and direct questions to make the interaction easier and get the item especially after watching others ask and be treated with the same disregard.

Yelp
Be sure to check out this gem on Colfax! They have a number of tasty breakfast treats and a variety of breads. They also have small black coffees and a refrigerator stocked with several beverage options. The almond croissant (Fri-Sun) is the best I have every had, and the raspberry lychee bun is also outstanding. I can't wait to try more of their tasty selections. You may have to wait outside, because it's only one party at a time in the shop, and make sure to get there early for the best selection of goodies!
google avatar

Lisa R.

Yelp
Discovered this carb-y loveliness just this weekend. We were at Cerebral and Good Bread had a display table of some of their goodies. Let's just say with a very limited table space/display, I was EASILY convinced to purchase their cardamom bun and a package of bagels. The cardamom bun was lovely for a not-too-sweet bun, which is exactly what our fam likes. Plus, the bagels were delish! I'm going to seek you out the next time we're nearby during business hours!
google avatar

Yelp
This place rocks! We have been coming here since COVID and it's only gotten better with the expansion. They have a lot in the menu and now serve pizza and sandwiches. But it started as a pop-up bakery and that's mainly what we love. The "must-try" are the cruffins. Get them while you can. They créme brûlée and pumpkin cream are my personal favorites. My personal favorite is the almond croissant. It's soft, flaky, almondy goodness. They also bake fresh loaves that are great for making homemade sandwiches. Try the multi-grain or the country loaf.
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
Best croissant I've had! The flakiness and the flavors were so well balanced. They had a set amount of options available, but I don't think you could go wrong with any of them! We decided last minute to grab breakfast before the airport, and I am so happy we did.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in on a Sunday morning. Delicious pastries and great service! The smells alone are worth it!

Yelp
Look Bread and Pastries are probably one of my favorite things in the world. Yes true I'll probably never have abs, but I will have croissants from GoodBread so does that even really matter?! These pastries are EVERYTHING! Waited in line for an hour, and I can tell you every bite was absolutely worth it! I tried the sausage croissant, yes i ate that as a pre workout for a peloton ride lmaoooo, and it was perfect. The saltiness of the sausage, which you can tell was too notch quality, plus the flakiness of the croissant. Man it was heavenly. Also tried their turmeric spiced croissant and holy moly was it amazing! A rich custard inside with again that heavenly flakiness of the croissant. Oh baby come to mama!! Just go here, wait in line, dream about the moment that sweet deliciousness hits your lips! It makes it all worth it. Also I'm mad that I just found out but they do sandwiches too!!!! Will totally be going back for those!

Jules C.

Yelp
Worth the wait on a weekend morning. Their laminated pasties are delicious and are what I come for.

Yelp
Ahhh so good! I have been following them on Instagram for some time and finally made my way over to try their goodies and was not disappointed. There was a short line outside when I got there around 9:15. They were following social distancing protocols outside and inside. They're only allowing one group inside at a time and groups are maxed to two people. There was still a good assortment of goodies at this time. Their ham and cheese croissant is the best version I've had anywhere.
google avatar

Alana L.

Yelp
I woke up early Saturday and figured it was the day to stand in line to try Good Bread. I got there around 7:45am and was maybe the 10th person there. I like that they only let in one person/group at a time, although the line didn't move until 8:15 and I had pastries in hand by 8:45! Everything looked super fresh and I like how the assortment changes. I think the limited menu works in their favor. I got a few items to try since I'm not sure when I'll want to wait an hour for pastries again. I was most excited to try a morning bun, which fully lived up to the hype, so cinnamony and good. The croissant was flaky and buttery. The carrot cake was practically caramelized and really flavorful. The savory danish wasn't bad and I could have lived without the filled donut, it was so plain in comparison. I also got a loaf of olive and polenta bread which honestly I haven't even been toasting or putting anything on top. I love it by itself.

Yelp
Birthdays call for all the sweets and treats I could possibly want in one day, and this year I decided trying out Good Bread and their donuts was on the docket. This adorable bake shop right off Madison is small but oh so mighty. They are open on Sat and Sun only from 8am until whenever they sell out and wow.. get your behind in there before the entire state finds out about this place because they will not be able to keep their phenomenal pastries stocked. For now, you are able to preorder a 4-pack of donuts by midnight on a Tues. (whatever the 4 flavors are that week) and pick up on Sat or Sun the following weekend. Last weekend the flavors in their Fall Pack were Chocolate Rye Hazelnut, Glazed Cinnamon Apple Fritter, Fig Cream, and Pumpkin Spice Orange Cream Cheese. Yes, feel free to reread those flavors again because they are as delicious as they are unique. Not your typical sugar on sugar topped with more sugar kinda donut, Good Bread's are sophisticated and creative and just GOOD. So good that the hubby and I ALMOST turned around for more (we didn't), but we sure did preorder our 4-pack for this weekend. So, yes the donuts are amazing, but under no circumstances can you skip out on whatever croissant and danish may be left when you stop in. We tried their Tomato Basil Danish, Ham and Gruyere Croissant, and the Apple Pie Bear Claw. The flakiness, the crunch, the buttery goodness of their croissants are out of this world. Am I in France? No? Still Denver? Great, just checking. Seriously, bookmark this place right now and get in there ASAP. They are that good.

Yelp
In search of the best apple fritters in Denver I selected Good Bread before a morning adventure at Arsenal Wildlife Refuge. The fritter was tasty, but my standards are high; more crispy apple chunks and this would have been a 5 star rating. That being said, I also picked up a baguette and squash danish and they were both delish!

Yelp
Still the best bakery in Denver. The thought of Good Bread's passion fruit donuts makes me drool (think Homer Simpson) when he dreams about that perfect donut.

Yelp
Get here early before they sell out. Crying because I didn't get to try the tiramisu croissant but I will be back. I also wish this place wasn't so far from me. The bread and baked goods here are wonderful. Please come and check it out! And their kimchi cheese danish was surprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly) GOOD. I want everyone to try it. It's a revelation.

Yelp
Saw a line and said oh wow what is that for, got out of the car and never looked back. Most delicious bread and pastries. You walk in and just smell all the deliciousness. Have been back three times and this will be my spot.
