How Las Vegas restaurants in the southwest neighborhood are handling the most devastating week in dining history - Eater Vegas

"Even Korean barbecues, traditionally places that serve meats cooked at the table, remained open to get rid of their remaining inventory. Goong Korean Barbecue sold meat and kimchi to go." - Susan Stapleton

The service here is fantastic, the staff works as a well oiled machine and gets you everyday you need promptly. All the food is great and the price is very reasonable for the high quality. Our favorites are beef short plate and soy flavor sliced pork belly.

Google
AYCE is great value, even the basic version had us satisfied and enjoying our time. Staff is great, interior decor is impressive. Will be back to try more premium options now that we know this is a trust worthy place.

This is a family staple in the vegas community for Korean food. My mom is Korean and fully approves of Goong. We love the quality, taste, generous sides dishes and service here. Not to mention the prices are unbeatable. If you are feeling up for KBBQ, it’s under $30 per person for all you can eat! The ambiance feels high end and verys spacious, great for big groups as well.

This restaurant was one of the first Korean BBQs that my family and I got to experience when we first moved to Las Vegas in 2014. I can't go into details on that visit because it was several years ago...but what I remember is that it was a remarkable experience resulting in wanting to go back very soon for round two. (Un)fortunately, I got hit with reality and quickly realized that Las Vegas has so many different Korean BBQs to try; therefore, I didn't get to revisit as quickly as I wanted. Regardless, the day had finally arrived and my family and I visited on 11 Jan 2024. I remember in our previous visit, the parking lot closest to the restaurant was congested and very annoying; this was the same during the recent visit. It's always better to park further away from the restaurant and walk there (keeps your sanity in place). When we walked in the restaurant, I immediately signed in because the restaurant was packed. I was somewhat glad that we had to wait because it allowed me to look around the restaurant and actually observe the décor - all I can say is that the owner(s) did a superb job with this building. When we finally got to our table, we ordered our drinks and chose the "Goong" AYCE package. I immediately noticed how amazing the prices were at this restaurant compared to other Korean BBQs in the valley. As of 11 Jan 2024, the prices for each AYCE package are: Standard - $27.95 + tax Goong - $34.95 + tax Premium - $43.95 + tax We tried the Brisket, Bulgogi, Kimchi Fried Rice, Spicy Chicken, Fried Mandu, Kimchi Pancake, Ribeye Steak, LA Galbi, Kimchi Stew, and Mushrooms/Vegetables. There is literally nothing negative to say about the food here! Everything was significantly amazing; the flavors of the marinade and tenderness of the meat cuts just puts a smile on your face and makes you want to keep ordering more food until you pass out in a meat coma. Also, of noteworthy significance, the employees here are all outstanding. Our main server, Sabrina, did an extraordinary job with our table; she was fast-paced, attentive, very friendly, and consistently ensured that our table was doing great. Definitely had a positive experience because of her customer service skills! Overall, this restaurant is easily in my top 3 Korean BBQ restaurants in the Las Vegas-Henderson-Summerlin areas. If you haven't been here, you need to get up and head this way immediately...you will not be disappointed! Outstanding food/price, great service, and fantastic décor...what more can you ask for these days? I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Google
Food was yummy. I personally wished they had more sides. Service was good as well but they kept giving up food we didn’t order or gave us more orders than we wanted which was pretty wasteful. Aside from that, it was a good experience!

We had a great dinner at Goong. The service was great. Food was delicious!

Google
It feels like a good, authentic, and traditional Korean restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the decor was really nice.

Google
Amazing place to grab Korean BBQ with friends and family. Truly authentic to Korean style restaurants with a really cool, modern design/atmosphere. Food is unbelievable - from the banchan to the fantastic cuts of meat, can't go wrong with any of the 3 courses they offer.

Yelp
I decide to having dinner in Goong with my family and I actually got surprised by my server name Leon!! The time i went It was pretty busy Leon checked up on me several time even he was in rush, I don't even have to ask him for the grill he check up on us like Vvip. The food was so amazing, even I don't know what to order my server helps me out with his great recommendations. If i have chance to come back here I'll definitely serve by Leon again :)

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. Meat was fresh and tofu soup brought me back to life after EDC. Rolly was the best server we could've asked for on top of it and one step ahead I will definitely be coming back soon

Yelp
it was relatively easy to get a booking here for a large party on the same day (it was a weekday though so keep that in mind). i've been here before and like sitting in the booths where you can take off your shoes. due to our large party, we weren't seated in the shoeless area and were given our own section. there is a wide array of banchan, perilla leaves and pickled radish slices are available per request. i love pairing the perilla leaf with some kimchi, pork belly, and ssamjang! the meat quality here is superb and the steamed egg here is one of my favorites because you can really taste the flavor profile in the broth they use to steam the eggs in. try not to get too full off just the eggs! all the banchan are super flavorful, and i recommend all the meats aside from bulgogi because it's not particularly my favorite and the marinade they use isn't very tasty imo. the dessert rice punch here is insane and i highly recommend it if you're not getting the affogato or melona, which are both valid alternatives haha! the rice punch is cold, lightly sweetened, refreshing and a perfect way to end a heavy, greasy meal like kbbq usually is. goong kbbq was a delicious respite for me that helped remedy my post-edc blues. i've gone once in 2022 after edc, and went in 2024 again, because it's a perfect establishment to bring a rowdy crowd in to enjoy each other's company alongside some grilled meats and yummy makgeolli!

Yelp
I go to a KBBQ about once a week. This place is on par with the rest of the pack..... except, the ambiance is too loud, I can't hear my dinner companion talking. It's too hot, the combination of the bbq plate and the vent sucked the cool air out. The meat quality is not bad, didn't have anything outstanding. Good selection of flavors of Melona.

Yelp
Excellent Korean BBQ. Clean atmosphere, service and manager are attentive. Manager touching the table always. Service is great. Food/quality of ingredients are great and fresh. Grill has power, you don't want to go to the bbq that grill has no power, they change grill if you ask. Scissor, I want to have the scissor in my kitchen. Five stars!

Yelp
Food was good. We had the premium AYCE but premium had limits on number of orders on certain items. If you want your child to get priced for child, your child height has to be lower than the post by the entrance. That came to a surprise at the end of our mea and through it was bit funny way to measure. The place had a traditional table and a regular table setting. We set in the traditional table. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Great spot for Korean BBQ in the Southwest area! Spacious menu and friendly staff. The ventilation was good along with the tall ceiling. The table was spacious and comfortable. They have a variety of panchan and it's pretty good here. We went with the AYE Premium package. This place did not disappoint. Initially, we thought, the multiple limit 1 option was annoying. BUT! It was not the case! It was more than enough. The meat quality is good. They brought out additional panchans like sliced lotus roots. They came by to take our order often. This is our new favorite KBBQ spot! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended! ~Cheers!~

Yelp
We have now been to this restaurant 3 times now and every time it is very good! The ambience is very beautiful and they have pretty lights with traditional Korean seating and booths. Our service is always well and always attentive. The food is delicious, meat is tender. My husband likes the short ribs. Kimchi soup is delicious, pickled radish, steamed egg, pancake etc etc! Our son likes the raspberry lemonade it is soo good. The only thing I can say is the booth seating needs some repair as the seats were cracked and it kinda hurt my legs because I was wearing shorts. But we would continue to go back because the food and service are very good.

Yelp
This is my favorite kbbq Las Vegas spot. It has an authentic feel with a few traditional seating tables. (Shoes off,no backing) The food here is the best quality I have tasted. Make sure you call for reservations on the weekends as they fill up fast. 10/10

Yelp
One of our favorite AYCE kbbq spots! They have different price points to choose from and they also have private rooms. You are able to make reservations and we mostly go as a party of 10 or more every time we go. Now to food.. the meats were on point and so many selections to choose from! Their soup was good too. Price is typical but so worth it! The customer service was great and you can tell the staff works really hard to accommodate everyone.

Yelp
Been awhile since going to dine at Goong Korean BBQ, which is not far from safe house epsilon. This restaurant located at a tiny strip mall plaza at the SW corner of Rainbow and Robindale, had been remodeled since my previous visit. It is now designed for the current AYCE KBBQ menu they now offer. The AYCE KBBQ menu consists of 3 tiers. The lowest priced tier is "Standard" ($27.95/$14.95 for adults/kids) offering 30+ selections, "Goong" ($34.95/$16.95 for adults/kids) offering 40+ selections, and "Premium" ($43.95/$21.95 for adults/kids) offering 50+ selections. Goong also offers an AYCE Shabu Shabu menu ($31.95/$15.95 for adults/kids) offering 15+ selections. If you are not in the AYCE mood, Goong also offers an a la carte menu. On my most recent visit, about a week or 2 ago, our group opted for the Goong tiered AYCE KBBQ. We ordered all of the limited 1 item per person items, plus a few appetizers, and we were pretty much 80% full just from finishing that. So I felt that Goong-tiered menu offered just the right offering of premium items at a reasonable price. But with the weather being cold now, I wouldn't mind checking out their Shabu Shabu menu. Normally when I am in the mood for hot pot or shabu shabu, I normally would venture to Chinatown or the Silverado Ranch area. But having a nearby option for that on a cold night is "swell". Service is above average, from the friendly hostess to the attentive wait staff. Orders arrive reasonably quickly once the wait staff leaves with our orders, the staff initiated all the grill changes as needed without being asked. I would totally recommend Goong for anyone with an appetite craving some good KBBQ, especially if they are not far from Rainbow off 215. Food: 4/5 Service 5/5 Price: 4/5 Solid 4 stars on Yelp.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to Korean BBQ and was so excited to come here for my husband's friends birthday. For a Friday night, it wasn't super busy which is wild cuz I feel like usually Korean BBQ is quite busy. We arrived a little late and our friends were already seated in a booth. The restaurant itself is quite large and super beautiful. There's a lot of booth seating that feels intimate and private, which I really liked. We all ended up doing the second tier of all you can eat. Everything was soooo tasty. They also have a lot of sonju (not sure if I'm spelling that right) and that was also quite good! I tried a bunch of the beef, octopus, and more! It was all super good. They do a good job of checking in, too, the only thing I will say is that we did have to request a few items more than once. However, they didn't keep us to the time of the all you can eat since I'm assuming it was because it wasn't so busy so we ended up staying till close eating our little hearts out haha. Also had some ice cream for dessert, too, which was good. Everything here was super tasty and I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious! The service is great!! The ambiance is unique and feels like you're in Korea because of the middle seats which we always go there for! We love this place !!

Yelp
Modern yet traditional KBBQ restaurant, with traditional aesthetic throughout and an incredibly fresh selection of beef and seafood. Really fun and interactive to come in as a group or just a friend since you're so involved cooking and cutting your own meats and seafood. I'd recommend putting part of the seafood on first to get that going since the meat is so quick. They bring out a whole assortment of different sides for the food you cook on the little tabletop grill, service was attentive and kind-- with the food coming out pretty quickly after choosing our meal options. The prices were pretty good too. They have a nice selection of thinly cut meats that are plain as well as pre-seasoned. I'll definitely come back again in the future.

Yelp
I recently went to Goong Korean BBQ for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. I tried their premium menu, which includes everything from the other two menus plus more. I was a bit concerned at first since the premium menu meats are one per person, but it turned out to be more than enough for two people. We only managed to get through three rounds of ordering and didn't even try everything that was one per person. The meat quality is higher than any other BBQ place in town, and the banchan is amazing. They have two salads with the banchan: one is a Caesar salad, and the other is a spicy kimchi salad. It's the first time I've ever finished both salads at a Korean BBQ restaurant. The steamed egg is classic, and they have other dishes like kimchi fried rice and Korean fried chicken on the appetizer menu. If you go for the premium option, you can also get tiger shrimp prawns or scallops to cook on the grill. The service was great, and the quality of the food was top-notch. They also have traditional seating where you take your shoes off and tuck yourself into the table, almost like a kotatsu. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. Honestly, this place beats out other Korean BBQ spots in town, and I've been a regular at Nalsso, 888 Japanese, and Master Kim. Goong Korean BBQ is definitely my new go-to place.

Yelp
The ambiance is one of the best places to try kbbq in the area. Some of the Staff are great, well some(talking about experience) are in their mood swings. But overall quality of food and service is great!

Yelp
Food Items, Quality, and Taste: We ordered from the Goong AYCE menu. We got the Angus Beef Brisket, Prime Hanging Tender, Angus NY Steak, Angus Ribeye Steak, Beef Tongue, Angus Beef Short Plate, Angus Boneless Short Ribs, Medallion Tender Tip, Marinated Finger Short Ribs, Pork Belly, and LA Beef Short Ribs. All tasted amazing, but I personally really enjoyed the Angus Boneless Short Ribs and Prime Hanging Tender. Service: The staff was friendly and attentive. And approached us various times to get our order and take away our used/dirty dishes. Ambiance: Enjoyed the traditional KBBQ / Korean restaurant decor and had a cozy intimate vibe. Price: Pretty standard for AYCE Korean BBQ. $$ - we spent about $35 per person all-inclusive. Overall experience: I give it a 5/5. Great experience and delicious food!

James L.

Yelp
Definitely Top 3 Korean bbq in Las Vegas. Got the Premium AYCE and the meats were top notch. Definitely worth the price. The sides were surprisingly high quality in taste. This is much better than eating at a steakhouse on the strip.
google avatar

Mimi N.

Yelp
Note to self- don't order the steaks or at least too many next time. Order 1 of the limited items each to try next time. Then remember what they are. I think I like the boneless short ribs the best. I can't remember so definitely need to take notes next time. Always order the premium option. It's worth it. They're always out of some of their desserts. They need to better organize that situation. Service is always a positive experience. This is my favorite Korean bbq ayce in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner at Goong Korean BBQ thanks to our server, Roly. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Roly's service made our night special. His timing was impeccable, always there when needed but never intrusive. Roly's friendly demeanor and genuine care made us feel like valued guests, elevating our dining experience. If you visit Goong Korean BBQ, definitely ask for Roly - he'll make your meal unforgettable! Thank you, Roly, for making our night special!

Yelp
Very good ambiance, I've been here for a few times now. I like it because they're not jampacked like the ones on Spring Mountain. You have to walk in though. Went here on a Saturday night and just waited around 15-20mins. We were 4 and chose the Goong menu. We chose all the limited food per pax and was FULL. The beef is tender and well seasoned. I also ordered the mango lemonade and it was so good! Overall very reasonably priced for AYCE. And did I mentioned that they offer a la carte meals on Ubereats for lunch?? The bibimbap and the spicy squid was so good!! Also they offered a lot of banchan!!! 5/5
google avatar

Amie L.

Yelp
Came here for a business trip company dinner and I loved it! The meat's quality was just top tier tender and delicious. The cold noodles and kimchi fried pancakes were also perfectly done. We did not order the AYCE menu and just ate a la carte. Another standout was the service. Our servers were so sweet and helpful. We were a huge party and they accommodated for all of us and made sure we all had a great experience. The bathroom was extremely clean as well and parking is easily accessible. Definitely a must have if you are in the area!

Yelp
First pit stop in Vegas! And it did not disappoint. This was a great first stop. Ambiance - 5/5 - Very nice setup. Very large and spacious. If you never have eaten in the Korean BBQ restaurant, the smoke can get into your clothes. Did not have an issue here. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and courteous. Made sure we were always taken care of. Food - Ordered the buffet around $30. Please note that some of the items have a limit. What does that mean? Pretty much order it. Therefore, I am going to tell you what I think you should order. Angus Ribeye Steak (Limit 1) Prime Hanging Tender (Limit 1) Boneless Short Rib (Limit 1) NY Steak (Limit 1) LA Beef Short Ribs (Limit 1) Salt & Pepper Tenderloin (Limit 1) Beef Tongue Brisket (Chadol) Pork Belly Pork Jowl I don't do chicken at a Korean BBQ restaurant. It takes too long to cook. Overall, the flavors and quality of the meats were fantastic. If I am in the area, I wouldn't mind going back, but when I visit Vegas, I want to try many other places.
google avatar

Olivia C.

Yelp
My husband and I came for dinner. it's a nice place. They do offer a la cart and all you can eat. Im vegetarian, so the only is our server couldn't tell us if they had a la cart vegetables. So we had 2 AYCE $27 each. The Ondol side is a nice option if you want a full experience.

Yelp
First of all, the wait was crazy. We went on a friday night so i do understand how busy it was. We waited almost an hour for a table. The ambiance was nice. If you have a large group, then i think you will be able to sit on those long tables in which you squat to eat which was an experience. The food was good, the meat was good as well and the service was prompt. At the middle of our dining, we asked for a grill change. This is when it started going downhill. Instead of giving us the round normal grill, the server told us they ran out of those. ???seriously??? So he gave us this rectangular shaped grill with a lot of holes on it, to be honest i dont know the name of that kind of grill. But our food started to smell like gas and taste like gas. This is when we stopped eating cause the food tasted gross with the kind of grill he gave us. I was not satisfied with my KBBQ experience that night that we decided to eat at another KBBQ place the next night. I normally dont do that but thats how unsatisfied i was with my experience. In other words, im sorry but i was not happy.

Yelp
Delicious kbbq with great quality meats and good overall service. Seating is cute they have traditional seating and tables/chair seating. I would definitely come back. Their side dishes are good as well ans try the kimchi pancake.

Yelp
I haven't been to too many Kbbq places in Vegas yet but out of the few I went this is my favorite so far! It's a bit far from where I live but ... I'd still drive to come eat here or... rideshare because everyone knows SOJU is definitely involved HAHAHA My husband and I have been looking for a non-ayce place because we have this notion that all AYCE are lower quality but Vegas proved us wrong... it's just ... EVERY place is AYCE haha we don't mind it, if it's good quality and it's all you can eat then why not! All the side dishes very delicious and complemented the meal. I think everyone's favorite was the japchae (glass noodles) and saw that was the first to be empty on the table. "Goong" in Korean means palace, and they really live up to their name! The decor inside is very elegant and little decorations that highlight the Korean traditional elements. The service was great and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the boneless short ribs, brisket and top blade, I like non-marinated meat more than marinated. The only -1 point out of the 1000+ points they have is that their bean paste soup wasn't the best but... literally everything else here was so delicious! I'm most definitely coming back.
google avatar

Earl F.

Yelp
Well the wife and I decided to expand our choices and visited Goong at 2pm, now they only do Happy Hour on weekdays. We ordered the Standard All you can eat, it was very good, not as many side dishes as I wanted but tasty. The restaurant was done very nicely, service was better than most, prices were as good as you can find. This will be our new south end All You Can Eat location...
google avatar

Phi N.

Yelp
To honest with you, we were pretty drunk. So I'm not sure if that's why I remember everything being so good... but I sure do remember enjoying the meal a lot. Great variety with pretty good quality. I wish I could eat more so that I could try more of the meats. Guess I'll just have to come back.

Yelp
So I've lived in Vegas for about 17 years and I have to say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. First, we seated in a not so busy restaurant at around early evening but the service was extremely slow. Our grill stayed EMPTY for 10 minutes at a time. It's so bad that I'm writing this as I'm still waiting on our food. When they do bring out the meats, they bring them in small batches fit to feed one person despite having a party of four. Service staff were inattentive - missing orders, not refilling water, sauce, or rice. For the price, there are plenty of other Korean BBQ restaurants with a wider selection on the menu and better service. Definitely won't be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Nestled away in the corner of a small shopping center is this hidden gem. It is definitely one of the best AYCE Korean restaurants that I have been to. The service was very quick, efficient and friendly. The taste of it all was simply to die for :-). Talk about lots of side dishes too. A must recommend. I will be retuning. :-)

Yelp
Here for big graduation celebration. Great food, super attentive service, clean place. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant! The meat quality was very good. The meat was seasoned well. The atmosphere was nice & great waiter! We'll be back!

Yelp
We have been here twice. The first time we enjoyed their Korean Sitting style experienced to grill so we came back with our friend and sister. First time the customer service was a bit slow and did not come to change the grill and ask if we needed more food. Second time was much better. We even had our newborn there and they were pretty nice about asking us to put the stroller to the side. Our friend did not participate in eating and they didn't tell her to not be there cause she did not eat which was nice of them. Food wise, I really enjoyed their options. Most things are limited but for good reason because they are so good! We seriously tried almost everything. The portions they bring out is good size and I like that so I can either keep calling more or try another item. One of my favorite is their sweet potatoes in honey! Overall one of our favorite Korean BBQ places in Las Vegas!

Yelp

Yelp
By far, the best Korean BBQ place I've been in Las Vegas. Great prices, delicious food, best atmosphere (and great air conditioned, clean, nice restaurant) and the service was awesome!! We came last night with my family and they were so efficient and nice. The meat was fresh and the best tasting that we practically ate the majority of our food. My lycheetini was also yummy. I got the bill and was so surprised on the price. It wasn't expensive like other places I've been. Children under a certain height is free (usually 3-4 yo). I will be back!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Next up on my restaurant journey.... The restaurant was very upscale looking. There was a section where you can enjoy Korean BBQ traditional style. In seats where you must remove your shoes. Nice authentic touch. I was a little concerned at first because the female hostess had the personality of a wooden sawhorse with rusty nails protruding from it. No smile, very robotic, almost like her teddy bear fell down an elevator shaft. The server we had was much, much better. They have 3 all you can eat options. All of the food we had was high quality and great flavors. Portions were adequate. I only have 2 gripes. The server kept turning down our grill EVERY TIME he came near our table. Leave it alone. It's fine. We just want our food to cook sometime today and can't if you keep turning it down on us. There was Iced coffee on the menu, I was told they were not serving it because it got cold....(?!) . Iced coffee, " it got cold." Does ANYONE know what that even means??. I love discovering new Korean BBQs. This one is very good. Try the spicy pork.

Yelp
First time here! My husband loves Korean BBQ, so I finally gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! Very tranquil restaurant. They have traditional tables in the middle of the restaurant where you take your shows off and the table is low. They didn't have any room when we arrived, so we sat at a regular table with the hibachi grill in the middle. The waiter was very nice and attentive. I truly loved the food. The only drawback is that it's not truly all you can eat. There were specific items listed where you can only have one. And, of course, those are the ones I wanted more of. I am hoping they change that approach, I'd rather pay more, so it's truly all you can eat.

Yelp
This AYCE spot is quickly becoming a favorite KBBQ destination. The quality of the cuts of meats seems to be better than other KBBQ places; nice fatty pieces like the hanger tender and medallions of beef. The ribeye cut wasn't at the level of the other cuts, but still tasty. Broad selection of banchan to whet your appetite. The private rooms have traditional chairs with the BBQ tables (seats six per table). Dining in the private room has its drawback though. They seemed short staffed as the servers weren't as attentive (confirmed later they were short four servers). Parking is challenging due to the small parking lot especially at peak hours.

Yelp
This was an exceptional experience. The cuts of meat were very high quality, the ambience was beautiful and not smokey at all, the service was awesome and so fast, and the variety was better than other Korean bbq menus! Changing the grills often to reduce smoke and inconsistent cooking was an excellent touch! Every single dish (we probably tried 8-10 unique things) were incredible, especially the sweet and sour pork, bulgogi, and the LA short ribs! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Yelp
First impression, excellence. Nothing was a miss, staff was attentive from service over the phone, to in person. The ambiance speaks for itself. We can happily report that Goong Korean BBQ lives up to the expectations. @Donna big thanks for making our experience top notch! Fiancé & I are big on beef tongue, if you are too then you'll most definitely enjoy this joint. Its incredibly soft & light. We noticed that everything we ordered was on the lighter side, feels healthier to consume. Not heavy/greasy at all. #quality We'll bring our family next time !

Yelp
This restaurant is another gem. A bit hard to find as it is towards the back of the parking lot. All you can eat Korean BBQ are becoming rare these days. If you find them they are expensive. This one Is more budget conscious but has a huge variety of delicious meats and seafood. Great banchan too! Enjoy!

Yelp
"The Korean barbecue at this place is excellent for an all-you-can-eat option at a reasonable price. However, there are some notable drawbacks. Firstly, the service can be inconsistent, with servers charging gratuity regardless of the quality of service received. Additionally, there are delays in bringing out more meat after the initial serving, which undermines the 'all-you-can-eat' promise. It's frustrating having to repeatedly request more meat and endure lengthy waits. Furthermore, the automatic inclusion of a tip, especially when service is lacking, feels unjustified. If the service matched the quality of the food and was more attentive, it would warrant a higher rating. Also, be aware that tipping is automatically added, potentially resulting in higher charges for groups. Given these factors, I would rate this establishment a three out of five."

Yelp
Try the Traditional seating! Very spacious and comfy and brings a nice ambience to your meal. I came in here with the loml and we ordered the Standard ($27). We were impressed with the service and the quality of the meat. The side dishes were also generous- we both really liked the salads. There were two different kinds. We also just really like brisket and New York strip, so we ordered a lot of that. For dessert, I also tried the Korean Rice Punch! It was cute and small, and it doesn't look like much-- but it was a refreshing to say the least. I drank mine and my boyfriend since he was too full to finish it. I definitely love this place and I'm happy we got to try it!

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place that wasn't an ayce but now offer ayce with premium beef if you order the premium tier that's about $58 with tax and tip. I have this place 5 star due to the premium selection of meats. The pros 1. Very good selection of beef ( that's all I eat) 2. The tiger prawns were large and deveined and de-shelled 3. They let you order as much meat at a time not like most places where they say only 3 meat items at a time etc etc but please don't waste food, too much waste in this world as is in terms of food. You can always order more. 4. You get a desert choice the Korean shaved ice is very good The cons 1. Bad ventilation and you smell like the bbq after your done. 2. The banchan (side dishes) very mediocre, kimchee, potato salad, steamed broccoli and fish cake slices. They need to step it up in this dept. This is suppose to be a premium kbbq place. 3. The service was a hit or miss, I give them a 3 stars for service. Overall very good meal if you like premium beef. Alot of the premium meats are one per person but trying to get thru every premium beef was very tough since there was so many choices. After getting thru the non marinated premium beef then getting to the marinated premium beef. It's a lot of meat. Make sure to get the kimchee pancake, cold noodles and the tiger prawns. Ask for a lot of butter and slatter that meat.

Yelp
Amazing as always! Service is great, ambiance is fun and normal sound level, seems like a great place to come to drink and eat after work. The food is my favorite, I literally can't eat anywhere else, and when I do, I just miss goong. I usually pick from the premium menu because my favorite items on the premium menu is the la ghalbi + the non-spicy cold noodle, don't forget to put in some vinegar and mustard which they will provide, for EXTRA flavor! Other items I usually order: beef tongue, wagyu brisket, spicy tofu soup, pork jowl, tiger shrimp, garlic butter shrimp, KING size beef short ribs Also for desert that you can only get on the premium menu is the red bean vanilla ice-cream shaved ice, AND THEY BROUGHT BACK THE MOCHI!!!!! I love it here!!!

Yelp
This was an amazing spot to get AYCE Korean BBQ. I loved how there was traditional-like floor seating, but where you could hang your legs below still. They also had booths and what looked like enclosed rooms as well. We did the Standard option and found all the meat selections to be really good. I think we pretty much tried everything except for the chicken and octopus. I wouldn't get the squid again, only because we weren't very careful with how quickly it'd cook. I absolutely loved the Tofu Stew. I would've gotten more if there weren't so much else to try! The Kimchi Pancake was also phenomenal. The salads were excellent as well. The servers were super attentive so we were able to keep ordering when they stopped by. Highly recommend! We came on a weekday so we did not have issues getting seated right away.
