20 Restaurants Worth the Drive From Chicago | Eater Chicago

"Half market, half restaurant, wholly delicious. Guests can have it all at Goose the Market, home to one of the finest Italian sandwiches in the country — the Batali. After chowing down on sandwiches, soups, and gelato, peruse the shop’s wine collection and head to the butcher for meats and charcuterie to take home." - Jeffy Mai

Google
the food and selection there is amazing but the service definitely needs some work. i wasn’t greeted once or even asked how can we help you. it was my first time in there and i was just standing trying to understand the menu while the workers carried on their own conversations quite loudly. it was like no one had even walked in! the restaurant doesn’t have a spirit to it which is so sad as it is a local based restaurant which offers breads from local bakeries, fresh herbs and such. you would think the community aspect of their business would show up in their service too. i have friends who go their regularly but it’s not like they are regulars because the staff doesn’t interact much and isn’t super friendly. a kind interaction + a great sandwich would make this place 5 stars

Google
I’ve had some incredible food here: a whole beer smoked chicken and their carrot cake gelato are things I still think about years later. Sandwiches are tasty. However I do think it’s overpriced, even for the quality. It doesn’t keep me from coming back, but it keeps it from being a regular spot. Also, the butchers are always friendly and helpful, but I’ve never had a good experience with the cashiers. Almost every interaction I’ve had at the register has felt like I’m bothering the staff with my patronage. This spot could easily become a great neighborhood joint, but the price and unfriendliness are probably the two things keeping it from being all that it could be.

Google
Very disappointing visit today. First problem - there's a cash discount that's not clearly stated on the menu. Only when I went to pay did I see the difference in price. Just feels sneaky because it would take five seconds to write "cash price" on the displayed menu or post a note about a credit card fee at the register. Second problem - I ordered a Batali and it was made with the wrong bread. Apparently Amelia's wasn't open yesterday so they couldn't get the usual bread and that's fine, it happens. Here's my problem - I didn't know this until I got home and started to each the sandwich! Even more shocking was that the bread they used instead was akin to a grocery store hoagie roll...very mushy and not able to stand up to the ingredients on the sandwich. What I can't figure out is why they didn't mention this when I ordered the sandwich?? When I returned it the woman explained that the bread wasn't available, but why did they have the sandwich on the menu without an asterisk or note? Makes me wonder what else they don't mention...If they wouldn't warn me that something so obvious about the sandwich had changed, what less noticeable alterations are they making? Disappointing for a $12 sandwich.

Google
Get the duck fat prosciutto and whatever cheese the person at the counter recommends. Seriously, the guy that helped us was incredible! Wabash Cannon Ball and Red Rock were my favorites from my first trip, but all of them were delicious! Next time we go we will definitely be getting sandwiches as well! They have everything you need for a unique charcuterie that will highlight local spots.

Google
I ordered the Batali, sea salt cookie, and a chai latte. The cookie was so good not too much sugar but the right amount. The latte.. I dont think that it was prepared right. It tasted like pepper. The sandwhich was so good! Its super tiny but it filled me up. It's very crunchy and a little bit spicy. 8.5/10

Google
I came here last week and the people are really nice here. They also sell x-large local eggs per dozen. I bought two dozen eggs, a snack, and some ice cream. All very good and tasty! I will have to come back next time for their sandwiches!

Google
Great selection of meats and various artisan foods. We enjoyed the Batali and Rachel. 4 stars because the kids grilled cheese isn’t “kid friendly” mozzarella and shredded Parm on a wheat berry bread don’t appeal to any kids I know. No description otherwise we would have ordered something else.

Google
I love this place to bits. I think they have best sandwiches in Indianapolis by a long shot. I’ll take the Goose Sandwich any day of the week and they also provide quick and warming service. I recently tried the butcher’s and the meats were phenomenal. I love everything about this place and thank you for such great service!

Yelp
I always love stopping into this place, wonderful sandwiches and a great selection of meats with a collection of other small items. I always have nice and helpful service. I recently purchased their All Indiana Board for a NYE party, it was a big hit and it came with a delicious baguette. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Great place to get wine and meat and cheese board with wonderful bar area in the lower area Very relaxed in a French feeling atmosphere and although it is small it allows everyone to chat with one another even strangers The charcuterie board is made up of interesting things. Not always good, for example squirrel mouse. (My dog loved it) The bartender is right there and committed to the customers in the area. She has time to chat or explained different wines, cheese, etc Overall it is a pleasant place to snack, have wine and forget where you are The very worst thing is you have to walk up a down about 30 stairs and no elevator. Our friend has a handicap and it was tuff for him

Yelp
I always have the BEST experience when visiting Goose The Market! Every time we step through the door, we are greeted warmly by multiple employees. This place literally has everything you need to have a good day. Sandwiches, wine, charcuterie and gelato! I love grabbing a sandwich and taking it down to the wine cellar to enjoy! The best sandwich on the menu, in my opinion, is the Batali!
google avatar

Thanh V.

Yelp
Ordered the Emmaline sandwich which was very tasty. I really enjoyed the fig jam with the sandwich. The soda and bag of chips were each $3.25 in addition to the sandwich. The place is a cozy spot with a downstairs cellar with additional seating. The sandwich came out pretty quick and the staff were courteous. I think I'd come back for a nice quick lunch in the neighborhood but probably skip on the extras.

Yelp
I feel like it's impossible I haven't reviewed goose the market before (not to be confused with my beloved smoking goose). Regardless I stopped by and tried the Tracy - I've had the batali (not for me) and the goose (always solid) but the Tracy was fantastic. Sorry I didn't get a picture I ate it so quickly. It's really made me want to grow cornichons? Anyways, I love that the market is more of a market (and always dreaming smoking goose will go the same direction or at least have alcohol??) but it was tough to find a snack to go with my sandwich that wasn't chips? Would love to see some more variety there.

Yelp
It's rare that I get over for lunch, but when I do, this is a perfect little place for lunch or something special. Love the Ravy sandwich, and when it's available, get the David sandwich. A lot of great cheeses, a secret little beer cellar in the basement, and the gelato - the GELATO - yeah, it's that good.

Yelp
Great to see a place stocked with locally owned items! For example baked goods, from Amelia's and 4 Birds. They also have unique shelf stable items that's hard to find in a grocery store. Their deli meat and cheese options are vast. Their made to order food items looked amazing and well thought out. Their hot sandwiches are the main draw and I could taste why. The veggie option on Amelia's bread with veggies and vegan mozzarella was such a treat and had a great flavor with a bit of heat. I couldn't leave without purchasing a couple of Amelia's bread bags and they were just as fresh as stopping by Amelia's. Street parking nearby and a small lot across the street. The employees were friendly and helpful answering questions about their items in store.

Yelp
I've loved Goose for years. Personally, I'm a big fan of their fresh-made sandwiches and local offerings. The Batali sandwich was just named "most save-worthy" sandwich in the state according to Yelp data. It has a spicy giardiniera on top that sets my mouth ablaze in the best way, but you can also get it without. They have freezer sales and you can score amazing local meat for a great price, especially on Mondays. The team is always friendly and helpful, and I love that they're always sampling to expand customer's knowledge and taste buds. The basement enoteca is awesome and I love that they not only have great wine, but NA beer options too. I also love Goose on a professional level. They're the best to work with and are always organized, helpful, and so creative. I recently bought a giant cheese wheel of raclette for another event, and they made it easy to order online and have someone else pick it up. They saved the day and I'm so appreciative!

Yelp
This place is a slam dunk, honestly! I love me some cheese and cured meat and this place just nailed it! I enjoyed the Goose sandwhich, which was delightful. The bread had a wonderful crunch and the soft mozzarella and tender ham, I mean it could not have been better. The fresh basil just nailed, and the price was very reasonable for what I got. I also enjoyed gelato, mint chocolate chip and it was soft and a sweet end to a delicious savory sandwich. We ate downstairs, where there was more items for purchase, wine and a little bar area. The space was super chic, warm, and inviting! Saving the best for last was the service I received! The cashier was so kind, I was so impressed by her thoughtfulness! She was restocking, chatting with customers everything, with such a bright smile! She Just embodied what service is thank you!!!

Yelp
I visited Goose The Market for a Yelp event and I immediately got drawn to the grocery shelves. Now mind you I am not talking greens, fruits and bread kinda shelves. These are the shelves that talk Spicy Pimento, Hand dipped ricotta, Caramelized Onion Jam and Red Jalapeno Mustard. Like stuff dreams are made of! All of which are local, local and more local! I love adding a dollop of Caramelized onion jam on my eggs or a little bit of mustard on my muffins. I love the little flavors and boy of boy Goose had this and so much more. Variety of cheese and meats and non alcoholic drinks (gosh that's my dream!) and a whole lot of soups, frozen goods and just so many variations of pasta and whole wheat items. It was lovely looking in and buying all the ingredients I love! Service was great and I can tell you my sunny side eggs with caramelized onion jam are amazing as I devour them now!

Yelp
The Batali - coppa, soppressata, capocollo, provolone, giardiniera and tomato preserves all on the most beautiful bread baked. That is all you need to know. Oh you want more? It's a small store so seating is at a premium both inside and outside but it's got such a great vibe. The staff is all super friendly. The bar keep downstairs was friendly and chatted with us about the beers. The meat case has a selection making me think about dinner despite inhaling my sandwich... lots of lamb and I love lamb.

Yelp
Obsessed. I think this is like my 117th review here. I love the small details the amazing service and all the charm in the small, local, butcher shop and grocery store. I have no words for the flavor of the made fresh sandwiches, and everyone feels like friends here. 10/10- visit for locally grown produce, smoked meats, and great wine selection :)

Yelp
I was visiting my friend in town, and he suggested that we stop by Goose The Market for lunch. He was excited to show me the oyster deal that they have on Monday, which was $18 for a dozen. I haven't had oysters in a while and was super stoked to go. We originally came at 12pm, but the oyster bar wasn't open yet. We decided to come by later in the day and got 2 dozen oysters to share. Each oyster was very fresh and a decent size. The homemade vinaigrette brought out a nice flavor to the oysters. Needless to say, we downed them pretty quickly because they were very tasty. For the price point and flavor, you can't beat this deal. I would love to come back again!
google avatar

Yelp
This isn't a new location or our first time here, but I needed a five star review!!! If you like deli meats and cheeses, this is the place to go! The pimento cheese with their chorizo is amazing. The pair is so good when it is heated up. Everyone behind the counter is super helpful and happy. They offer suggestions for their sandwiches and more. It is a small location, but today we found their wine cellar. They have beer and wine for sale, but there is beer on tap!! It is a great hidden little spot!! We will definitely be back
google avatar

Ann X.

Yelp
I'm shocked I haven't left a review yet for goose! I love that this store exists, so many great sandwiches, gelato, wine, beer, coffee, meats... definitely a neighborhood gem! I haven't had the chance to try their oysters yet but was excited to see that was an offering too. Anyway, any type of sausage/deli meat/frozen meat you get here is always delicious. Can't go wrong there. I'm a fan of the sandwiches on occasion but fair warning that they can be quite oily and for me, unsettles my stomach at times. Cheese selection is also great for gift giving, and the gelato is a welcome treat especially in the summertime! Love goose!
google avatar

Abbey A.

Yelp
I had the best experience ever getting Monday oysters with Tony behind the bar. This guy was the friggin bomb! Super knowledgeable and friendly and warm. A+++ Also, I didn't catch his name but the bearded guy behind the sandwich counter was also cool as hell and made us feel really welcome. Sandwiches were both excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Kiddos were hungry while we were out and about so we stopped in for grilled cheese and gelatos. Staff was very friendly and allowed kids to sample some gelato flavors! Grilled cheese had a great cheese pull! It's not American Cheese so if your kiddos have a specific taste in mind for grilled cheese, this will be a twist! There's also tons of meats, cheeses, pickles, wines, seasonings and more to stock your pantry while inside!
google avatar

Yelp
Thank you for hosting a lovely little free wine tasting Saturday! A lovely team was available to share some wines from the country of Georgia. They shared the history of the wine making and the special process that is still being used today dating back to at least 8,000 years ago! It was a really nice history lesson, and the wines were really tasty. The market also supplied some fun cheese and charcuterie samples to pair with the sips! It was my first time visiting, but I definitely want to return to try a sandwich! The deli counter looked amazing, and I discovered they have Gelato! They have a nicely supplied wine cellar in the basement. There were tables outside to enjoy your purchases and street parking easily available. Nice find in Indy!

Yelp
Goose the Market... I went in there for one thing and came out with five. The staff working on the Sunday when we went in are a blast. We had FUN being in there. I'm a sucker for a well stocked quality local business and this is one I will be adding to my list to regularly visit. We had Batali sandwiches, an oat milk latte, and ginger lemon shot - SPICY, but good and worth it if you need a morning boost. I chugged down the latte which was delicious. The Batali sandwich... is perfect... I'd had it once before and I swear it used to be bigger, but it was still flavor packed and plenty for lunch. I'm not a deli meat person, but I am for this sandwich. It's so flavorful and good - add the pickles and pickled red onions and it's heaven. I love everything on it and wouldn't change a thing. The shop has tons of local products. My favorite is Amelia's bread and i love knowing I can grab it here. I've never tried their cooking classes or order out items, but I'd trust they're awesome. Super friendly local atmosphere.

Yelp
The folks are goose just do it right! From cheese and meats to an excellent wine selection it's a favorite of mine. They have an incredible selection of local favorites and they can always find something special for you. Service is top tier! They take local serious and pays to come here. Get the muffuletta! You won't be disappointed
google avatar

Yelp
Love this shop!! There is plenty of parking across the street. Once inside they have so many things to choose from! I personally go to order sandwiches- as they are DELICIOUS!! Be sure to visit the basement as they have lots of wine ! They host events in their upstairs private room. I've taken a flower bouquet making class. It was a lot of fine and included charcuterie and wine! Love this spot and wish I lived closer.
google avatar

Afsoc X.

Yelp
First timer! Tried different sandwiches, a bit pricey but honestly.... OMFG! The most consistent and some of the best sub style French bread whatever you want to call it, but some of the best I've ever had from all my travels across Europe and in the USA. The choices of breads and quality meats with the pairing of dressings and adding is a kiss of perfection! 9/10 Go Try It Now!!!

Yelp
Goose the market is a butcher deli located right outside of downtown with parking on the street. They offer sandwiches, (vegan included), gelato, expresso, herbs, various meats and cheeses,. Local beer and wine. If you check out their website, they host events several times a month. You can even rent space to host events and they will cater. I chose the Batali sandwich, which is somewhat like an Italian. The giardinieria gave the sandwich so much flavor. FYI, the bread is on the tougher side, but good. I also tried the mint chip gelato. I felt it wasn't as creamy as other gelatos I've tasted. The staff was friendly and courteous. I look forward to returning in the future.
google avatar

Cassie T.

Yelp
Overall: good food, neat place to shop, fresh, friendly service, additional free parking in the lot across the street. This market is an Indianapolis staple known for their delicious unique sandwiches. They also offer coffee/espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches, soups, gelato, and baked goods. You'll find fresh produce, butchered meats, seafood, and many niche food products too. What i find wonderful is that you'll see many local businesses featured here. If you're feeling a bit cramped on the main floor, head down to the downstairs Cellar Bar and you'll find a varied selection of more snacks, wine, beers, and zero proof drinks. You can also enjoy beer and wine in house while casually chatting with a friend or date. The upstairs area is where i believe is reserved for events. I would visit their event page on their website for shopping deals and upcoming events as they offer some neat ones.
google avatar

Doug R.

Yelp
Great food, great products, excellent wine selection and a great downstairs bar cellar setting. The deli / sandwich bar is always top notch, and not sure anyone has better fresh soups or produce. Always friendly, helpful and efficient! Even got my fresh turkey here for the one Thanksgiving that I was cooking! Great place in the heart of Fall Creek neighborhood on Indy's nearNorthside. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
Where do I begin?!!? This local meat and sandwich shop is TOP NOTCH! They have great deli meat sandwiches and their menu is always changing. The workers are fast, friendly, and know the products well. It sits on the corner of 25th and Delaware with ample parking across the street. On this trip we got a charcuterie board to enjoy while watching the Super Bowl! They offer a selection of wine and beer downstairs in the cellar. The prices are fair for the exceptional quality you get! Goose the market is a must try!
google avatar

Lakeya J.

Yelp
Love this place! Such an awesome vibe when you walk in. Very clean and organized. I loved the decoration and all of the goodies they had. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had tons of questions and they answered all of them. This place is pretty cool, it's literally a market/butcher/restaurant. I got the Batali Sandwich with turkey because I don't eat pork. The sandwich was amazing, loved the French baguette. Thanks for letting us try the beef beef bologna and smoke cod..so good!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm really happy I was able to squeeze this into my schedule as I'd been wanting to try this place for a while now based on feedback from some friends who live close! I didn't know what to expect once I walked in, but what a great spot to buy a lot of the things you need for your weekly meals and a few other things. Their meat selection is stellar, plus a slew of cheeses and other items I don't know much about but all tasted delicious on my sandwich. I ended up getting their riff on a cuban with some giardiniera added to it, plus I indulged a bit and got a root beer, honey siracha chips (taste great!) and a chocolate and caramel bar to snack on later... also got the wife a grilled cheese. My sandwich was awesome with a ton of flavor and definitely different than you'll find elsewhere... it has brussels sprouts, what's not to love!? The chips were awesome and I'll definitely keep an eye out for them elsewhere. Overall, a super solid choice and happy to come by next time I'm there and it's meal time.
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
I've been to Goose the Market several times now, and it's ALWAYS an absolute treat. I've never had a sandwich that disappointed. They are all perfectly balanced combinations! Most recently I had the Batali, and it was spicy and crunchy and delicious. The atmosphere inside is lovely and the staff are friendly! I look forward to returning every time!
google avatar

Erika P.

Yelp
Great friendly and helpful service, quality food for lunch and to take home, and many special treats to try. I will definitely be back and recommending this place to my friends and family.
google avatar

Christopher F.

Yelp
The staff at Goose is so incredibly nice. Everyone is welcoming and happy to make suggestions or answer questions. I grabbed a fresh cut ribeye, some sometimes mustard and some local cookies. With fresh meats, cheeses, a sandwich shop, veggies and fruit, mustards, jams, wine and other drinks, this is a perfect stop on your way home or on a neighborhood walk for all you meal needs. Beautiful store. A must visit!
google avatar

Jorja L.

Yelp
It's really not fair for me to review this place. I'm not a huge fan of meat, especially cured meats. But, my husband is from the east coast and loves a good deli, with fresh meat and cheeses. We met a couple friends here for lunch. I got the kids grilled cheese (no clue what it was, but ended up being a grilled rye with mozzarella and another white cheese), and my husband got the Batali. He enjoyed the sandwich, but said it was a bit greasy and messy. I stole some of his giardiniera to add to my sandwich and it was great. If you're like me and don't gravitate to meat, there are plenty of options on the shelves. Olive oils, pasta, spreads, olives, sauces and so much more. It's a nice place to stop in for those extras to finish your meal or charcuterie board.
google avatar

Erin G.

Yelp
I love sandwiches and am so happy I tried Goose The Market! I didn't realize that Goose the Market was actually a deli too with fresh meats, cheeses, even a small section for fresh vegetables. And the canned goods, pastas and sweet treats drew me in. At check out, I snagged a bag of the Heidi Ho's chocolate chunk shortbread cookies... delicious and a must have dessert after your sandwich! I picked the Batali and took home a Goose for my husband, both were so good. Fresh and full of flavor! I got a punch card on my way out because I know I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Goose The Market is a neighborhood market and butcher/deli that features quality ingredients in a charming shop. Whether you're enjoying a sandwich and gelato for lunch, picking up ingredients for a handcrafted charcuterie board, or shopping for dinner, Goose the Market is an amazing local option. I love their Batali sandwich, which comes with Italian meats, cheese, pickled onions, and spicy giardiniera. Their sandwich menu has a few regular options but rotates daily with new combos. I noticed they have gluten free bread, vegetarian/vegan options, and a kids sandwich. A few things to know for your visit, they have free customer parking across the street and off the street spots available. If you plan to eat there, they have a counter indoors with several seats as well as outdoor tables when weather allows. Pro tip: Check their site for regular events they host on site like wine tastings, special menus, or even cooking classes!

Yelp
So this is my new favorite place to order from when I have to go to the office. If you're looking for locally sourced food and great sandwiches this is the place. I typically DoorDash my order but one day I did venture to the restaurant itself and it did not disappoint. I recommend the Batali. Lastly, it is super fast so if you're looking for a convenient lunch near downtown look no further.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
We visited for lunch today and absolutely loved the food and environment. The location is convenient and there's a gravel lot across the street for parking. My husband and I both loved our sandwiches. The affogato for dessert was such a delicious surprise!

Yelp
On this #thankyouthursday , I want to pour some love on an Indy treasure, Goose the Market. Not only do they create the best damn baguette sandwiches in all the land but they go out of their way to support fellow artisans and members of the food community when in need. I'm always so impressed by how they juggle it all- from private events to the grab and go counter to sending their delicious meats throughout the country. I'm always so proud to see Goose products on the shelves when traveling out of state. A few of my Goose favorites: -adding their giardiniera to every sandwich -the cheese and meat boards paired with an affordable glass of wine -whatever soup is on for the day is bound to be a winner -their vegan-friendly ways despite being a meatery -stocking stuffers galore- this is the place to go Big love to you, Goose the Market.

Yelp
The Wagyu Beef hotdog is eating steak on a hotdog bun! Wrapped in a natural casing that crunches and snaps with every bite. The flavor was truly "beefy" and the size of it enormous. They served it with Nashville hot sauce and pickles. I could've eaten it plain but condiments added to the artistry of the dining experience. The sauce had just enough heat to remind you long after you're done. Goose the market is known for their farm raised, slow, smoked cured meats. This hotdog didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Goose the Market is an excellent establishment in terms of food quality, speed of service, & customer service. One of the few places that I have ever visited that deserves all the praise & has truly earned 5 stars. There are staple items such as goose, batali, & gander that do not rotate but the rest of menu changes almost daily plus you can substitute whatever meat is in rotation with the main sandwiches. Their customer service is top notch & I really applaud them in that department. I also work in the food industry & they handle problems better than I would! There was a time when I thought I received the wrong sandwich & they handled the situation with so much grace & patience. I didn't understand what meat I substituted & was the one in the wrong about receiving the wrong sandwich & they still treated me with so much respect & let me keep the sandwich after much protest. I really appreciate this place- I haven't been in awhile because of my limited food palate but I've been thinking about this place so much recently that I had to write a review!

Yelp
My first visit to Goose the Market was actually to participate in a Yelp event, but I can easily see myself returning, and often! Free parking lot right across the street, cozy ambiance, friendly staff are all factors. Not to mention they make "out of the box" sandwiches to order, have a beautiful deli case, and carry products from many local vendors. Can't believe I forgot to take a single picture!

Yelp
Goose is always a good choice for gourmet sandwiches and meats. I love their Goose sandwich and the large selection of snacks from local business. They do an excellent job with group catering as well - my workplace has used them for lunch and it's always makes Indy look good to outsiders visiting our office for work. Head to the basement for a private-feeling laid back vibe serving charcuterie boards and a great selection of wine and beer.

Yelp
True. Hidden. Gem. As you walk into this chic, yet cozy market, you are hit in the face with astounding smells and curated, high quality products. I don't think there is a better lunch, than a well executed sandwich. My partner got the Batali which had a well balanced flavor profile. Zesty, and spicy, it packed just the right amount of punch. The meat and vegetables were extremely fresh. As for myself, I love the simple things in life. The Goose was ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE, (I never do caps.) The amount of prosciutto was perfect with the fresh mozzarella. The basil and olive oil left a wonderful end note. But for me the carbs always win. I could have taken that baguette (from Amelia's bakery by the by) home and it would have been gone by the end of the day. It's like the people behind the counter said, "you can't go wrong." Ain't that the truth.

Yelp
Sandwiches here were so delicious, generous, and definitely high quality. So glad we stopped while we were in Indy!

Great local meat market. My wife and I had two sandwiches and bought wine. The service is always great and everybody is very nice and helpful. Definitely will be coming back every chance we get!

Yelp
Holy hecking sandwich heaven! Saw this on yelp while driving through Indy. Stopped for lunch and got the Batali and the Gander for my Vegetarian Husband. When I say we demolished these sandwiches, I mean it. Fresh crispy bread, high quality ingredients, and so much flavor. Will be stopping again when we pass back through town!

Yelp
I got the Goose Sandwich which I think had cured ham on it. It was pretty good. The meat was tasty, but I personally didn't love how chewy it was. The bread was also kind of hard, and the cheese was in large chunks and not overly flavorful. Overall, I think the flavors mixed well, and I just didn't love the textures. I definitely liked the ambiance of the store, and the workers were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Stopped in here for lunch on a Monday around 11:30. They were packed already. We weren't greeted but they were busy! There were maybe 6 people waiting and 2 in line two order. While waiting to order we walked around and the just have so much to see. There is veggies, fruits, pasta, sauces, a case with fresh meat. So while waiting you are busy checking stuff out. The cool thing about this place is there is also a basement for over 21. Down there is beer and wine heaven. So much to choose from. There is also seating down there. (There isn't any upstairs). They seem to be reasonably priced. After ordering it was a nice day so it was perfect to eat lunch outside. The food was amazing and I totally recommend. Oh and we ordered a couple burger Patties and chicken burgers. Amazing Amazing!

Yelp
I want to give this place a second try because the day I went wasn't it. I got the house sandwich and when I bit in, it was all dough, almost like a take a bake bread. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or something but I couldn't eat that sandwich at all. The place itself was really cool and cozy with a bunch of different deli meats available. It definitely had a cozy vibe to it and the people behind the counter were really nice and had my food out quickly. It was just that darn bread that didn't do it for me.

Yelp
Coffee, wine, frozen desserts, and meats! What more could ask for, personally I am a fool for their sandwiches! And with a punch card you can even get a free one with a full card! Its a really cute shop with outdoor seating, wine cellar and on mondays they have a freezer clearance on meats! I love their fresh meat and everyone is always so kind and has wonderful suggestions if you are preparing a certain dish and need help with flavor blends! Prices reflect quality and its a refreshing spot to stop into!
