Food and service were great and parking was easy Food/Drink- 5 stars The lunch special is fantastic, as you're able to get an entree for less than $12 that includes all their banchan. Food was all excellent, as their tofu soup and BBQ pork were fantastic Service- 5 stars The servers are always excellent here. Been coming here regularly for the past few months and quality and service continue to remain top notch. We're in love with the kimchi here - unlike anything you find anywhere else. We come with a 5 yr old who devours everything here so 👍👍👍 for family friendly.

I came here during lunchtime and had their lunch special for $11.92. and it came with a couple the yummy sides. That's such a good price. I got their stir-fried pork (spicy). It was so tender, so flavorful. My family got beef brisket tofu stew, ham and cheese tofu stew, and kimchi cold noodles. The brisket is super soft and melts in the mouth, cold noodles were super refreshing, perfect for the SoCal weather. Ham&cheese has a lot of goodies inside. and they are all very flavorful, and go super well with rice. Btw, their rice is good!! Even though it was weekday lunchtime, the store was busy, but the service was fast. The servers are super nice & professional. Gave me good recommendations. The store looks so new and very clean, with mixed modern and transition decors. You can see the kitchen, it looks super clean as well. On the lunch special menu, they have a total of 11 dishes, I need to come back and try them all!! Located in a nice shopping center in Irvine that has plenty of parking spots. I will give this place a 5-star.

Like other reviews, the food and environment were both wonderful. The food was quality and tasty. I prefer un-marinated meats and usually avoid marinated meats at other places due to the marinade being too strong but this was perfect. Just enough for the flavor without overpowering the meat flavor. The service on the other hand was exceptional. We came with our kids who couldn't eat big pieces of meat and when one of our servers saw me cutting their pieces further, she without question started trimming down some pieces to their size and served them as well.

Strongly recommended. If you want to experience a premium Korean BBQ restaurant in Irvine, I strongly recommend this one. It’s slightly more expensive but worth the price. Pork belly and Kimchi noodle(cold) is by far the best ones in this area.

An elevated version of Korean BBQ using USDA prime beef. Instead of a large grill plate powered with gas, they used beautiful ceramic grill with gel fuel. It looked pretty. We tried their beef combo (with marinated short ribs). We loved both ribeye and short ribs. Salt would be good enough (they provided two other dipping sources). However, we found the beef rib finger a bit too dry. For the sides, we loved the chive salad and cucumber. It surprised us that they did not serve kimchi, but we are totally fine with that. The best part was, we didn't smell "BBQed" after the meal (it was not peak hours though). Yet, we hoped they can slower down the pace a bit... Please let us finish one before serving more meat. It would be a waste to chomp on those or to let them cold... As we are talking about a "luxury dining experience".

If you can handle eating beef intestines, this is a good place. I like that the place is clean not like other Korean BBQ restaurants, where everything from the floor, tables and walls are sticky. We shared the medium intestine combo for 3 adults to share, with the steamed egg, dang jang stew, and side dishes, it was plenty of food.

My 2.5 yo is extremely picky, and her food pyramid looks like pasta/bread/rice (much more than) broccoli (more than) meat. And yet, when we took her to Gooyi92, she'd feed herself with the meat that we cut up into little pieces for her, and asked for more. So that should tell you right off the bat the quality and taste of the food here. This place isn't too far from home for us, and is situated in a plaza that we frequent for a couple other restaurants. But eating in / Kbbq hasn't been on our radar much since post-pandemic, until an old-time friend came visiting recently and mentioned that they'd like kbbq food. So we checked Yelp and decided to try this place out. Long story short, the fact that we returned within a matter of weeks should speak volumes to how much we enjoyed our meals here. But, getting to the meat of the review (pun intended) - we ordered the meal sets so we could sample a number of different meats. The presentation of these on the cutting board and the cute grills was excellent to start. I was immediately drawn to the great color of the slightly tarred but raw meat. And then they grilled and torched it to perfection on your behalf worked well for a large party because they could be grilling on the side -- to avoid the kids -- and then bringing the cooked food on smaller plates to the center of the table. My picky 2.5 yo had to fight her meat-loving big brothers on getting all the pieces. I liked the marinated ribs but really they were all excellent. Ok so the price tag is a bit on the high side, but you're paying for quality food and service so what can I say :)

My meat was severely undercooked when I asked for medium doneness. The servers here did not seemed trained enough to be cooking the food like this, and the meat probably doesn't meet any food temperature regulations. We showed this to a team member, and with no remorse, he reluctantly cooked the meat a bit more to an edible temperature. No apologies were communicated to me and didn't seem like anyone who worked there cared for food quality, or service quality. I would avoid coming here unless you like your meat raw.

Their weekday lunch special is very affordable at $12 per dish. The tofu soup was very flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. The cold kimchi noodle was also refreshing, though I wish it came with some protein. I'd like to come back to try the bbq, the other tables that ordered it looked good and the waiter helped cook their meats. Service was quick, and the spot is located in a busy plaza with lots of other Asian restaurants next door, but parking is never hard.

"This restaurant slyly hides an 18% charge under the label of a "service fee" on the bill and then pressures customers to leave an additional tip." This kind of opaque practice alone leaves a bad impression, but to make matters worse, the food was mediocre at best. There are plenty of better Korean BBQ spots nearby, so there's no reason to choose this place. On top of that, the service was terrible. A female server, likely in her 40s or 50s, greeted us with an awkward smile, pretending to be friendly, but failed to explain anything about the menu properly. When we raised our concerns, our complaints were ignored, and the mandatory service fee was enforced regardless. It felt as if they added extra charges simply because we complained about the poor service. Unlike the voluntary tipping culture in the U.S., this restaurant employs an unpleasant practice of forcing hidden fees on customers. This place is a total disappointment. Save your time and money, and visit a better Korean BBQ restaurant instead.

I have to give this restaurant two thumbs up. The food was delicious and are good quality too. I ordered the meat combination, it doesn't come with rice. You have to order separately. The combination included meat, side dishes, soup and steamed egg. I have to say, the steamed egg with cheese on top went so well together. The steamed egg was amazingly delicious!!! I loved it. The service was wonderful! The waitress cooked for me. The restaurant is clean and so is the bathroom.

Husband and I got 꽃쌀 prime boneless short rib and small intestine tofu soup. Was bomb dot com. All the side dishes were so tasty and fresh. Our server grilled our meat very well.

Found this spot while we were nearby. Opted for it over baekjong. Probably should've gone to baekjong. The large intestine (daechang, large entrail) was okay. They start the cooking off for you but when I tried flipping the less cooked sides, m The plate didn't really get hot enough or stay hot enough to evenly render the fat on all the pieces. The prime ribeye was a total joke. Super tough. It says USDA prime guaranteed. Maybe it wasn't meat but the way it was cooked? The risotto tasted like it was made with creamer powder but to be honest, I liked it. The steamed egg was alright. I didn't try the creamy udon that was at our table, but it was all eaten so presumably decent. The feedback on the tartare at our table - one person liked it and two didn't love it. I didn't try it bc I was a bit turned off by frozen pieces and bits of ice. Yukhwe isn't my jam normally anyway. I appreciated the assortment of banchan that was a step above the usual tofu house type selections. The service was good and friendly. The inside was cozy. I wanted to give them three stars but honestly I don't think there's anything worth coming back for. I like their menu, the experience fell short.

We came here for lunch on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of a wait. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced at $11.92 per dish, which is a great deal. This way we can order a variety of items to try even though there was only two of us. The service was commendable--our waiter was the only one working, yet he was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The food, however, was a mixed bag and left some room for improvement. The stir fry pork was decent, but the flavor profile was one-dimensional--just sweet. I wish it had more char and the onions could have been grilled a bit more to add depth. The Steamed Egg with American cheese on top sounded intriguing, but the execution fell short. The cheese didn't melt properly and ended up separating from the egg, plus it tasted overly processed and didn't complement the dish. The Kimchi Cold Noodles were refreshing, but I missed the usual mustard and vinegar that typically accompany cold noodles. The noodles themselves weren't as chewy as I'd hoped. The Beef Tofu Soup was the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, making it my favorite dish on the lunch menu. Unfortunately, the Cream Udon was a complete miss. The sauce was watery and tasted like boiled milk, with no discernible flavor. I would definitely skip this one. On a positive note, they serve five different banchans, and the cucumbers were a standout--reminiscent of the cucumber salad from Din Tai Fung. Overall, this spot offers a decent lunch experience at a good price point, but the food could use some tweaks to truly shine.

Amazing! We've been to this plaza alot before but never really noticed this place until recently. It is smaller inside, but we haven't needed to wait to be seated for dinner so far. The quality of the food was top tier. We got the prime boneless short rib which comes with a good amount of banchan. I liked that it was a different assortment than I normally see at like kbbq. The banchan always elevates a meal for me lol We also got the cream udon. The sauce was a little thin, so I drank what was left in the bowl coz I didn't want to waste a drop teehee. Service was great, the staff was attentive and cooked the meat for you at the table. We're planning on coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Gooyi92 popped up on my Tiktok fyp so thought to head over there to give it a try. Making a reservation same day for 5 people was relatively easy. We ordered a beef combo, large entail, and pork belly. Thought it was going to be too much but we actually finished everything but was also a bit too full. The ribeye in the beef combo was tender but the rib finger and the non marinated short rib was pretty chewy. The large entail had good flavor but wished the server cooked it a bit longer so it crisps up more. The pork belly was really good and with the spicy green onions was definitely the highlight of the meal. There was also a wide array of side dishes: cabbage, green onions, fish cake, etc. all super tasty. Service was also super attentive with water and side dishes refills. Overall: 8/10

Gooyi is our go-to KBBQ spot in Irvine when we're craving a luxurious dining experience with top-notch beef that's cooked right at your table. What sets this place apart are the unique side dishes, like white kimchi, vinegar onions, and chive salad--definitely not your typical KBBQ sides. But the star of the show is the incredible quality of the meat. We ordered the beef combo, and everything was cooked to perfection. The cheesy steamed egg is hands down one of the fluffiest we've ever had. The beef? Buttery soft, tender, and packed with flavor. If you're in the area, Gooyi92 is a must-try!

From 11:00AM - 4PM is when they have their lunch special. That's when they offer more affordable options at $11.92 like stir-fried pork, etc. No beef options for their special though Pretty much everyone at the restaurant were ordering the lunch special, which makes the most sense/value here. I made the mistake and ordered the Prime Ribeye $51.92, which was not worth it at all. I think they need better dipping sauce options for the meat. The tripe fried rice was $9.92 and it was very super spicy, but also small portion. The banchan was not as impressive; there were no pancakes. This isn't your typical BBQ place where you cook it yourself; the server does it for you. I can see people come here for the lunch special, for the most value, but I don't find the other choices worth it.

With all the inflation and current economic conditions, it's getting harder to find places to eat that won't break the bank, not to mention under $15. However, I saw that there were 11 options for $11.92 lunch specials (one per person, 11am-4pm every day) and was curious to try. We ordered a beef brisket tofu soup, seafood tofu soup, and cream udon. Food arrived promptly and was nothing special, but for its price, it was filling and hit the spot. The tofu soups were around a medium spice level, and I appreciated how the rice wasn't soggy. Service was also good, as we didn't even ask for a refill on fish cake but our server saw that we were done and brought us more. Overall, restaurant is known for a luxury kbbq experience (which I will have to try some other time), but I like the addition of the more affordable options!

excellent meat quality, yes it's pricey and the portions are small but the quality is worth it. same owner as marble steak and grill but i remember the service here being better. ive tried the short rib and the beef tartare both very good, really want to go back again to get these w the new lunch specials good atmosphere for a date or w family

If you're into Korean food. This places is amazing. The food, the service, and the ambiance is all worth it. The servicer comes out and cuts and cooks the beef for you. No need to ask for anything. They constantly come by to take and give you side dishes. If you're in Irvine, you must stop by! This was the best restaurant in the area so far that I have eaten.

Delicious! Most of the meat is pretty top quality (except the first one in the set had some chewy pieces). However, the overall experience and the short ribs are amazing! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They cook at the side of your table and make it very entertaining (better than hibachi grill places). The place is a little pricier, but comparable to Kang Ho baekjeong. We brought the entire family (party of 12) and they were very accommodating. We called ahead and they welcomed us when we walked right in. The sangria is really yummy and light. I didn't prefer the creamy udon but we got it for the kiddos and they were fine with it. The kids also really enjoyed the pancake banchan. Definitely a great spot to bring the family when they're visiting from out of town. My parents were impressed and they rarely are. My dad kept saying the owner must be a good guy to have service this good!

Went to Gooyi for an early dinner on New Year's Eve. Dining room was pretty crowded and the three servers working that shift really hustled from table to table, making sure all meats at every table was cooking properly. We ordered the Prime Beef Rib, Prime Boneless Short Rib and Pork Belly. Thanks to the hustling wait staff, everything was cooked to perfection and we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely come back for another meal soon. Well deserved 5 stars.

This is a hidden gem. The food is really great quality, the service was excellent! It is hidden in the strip mall, so you would never know it was there. It is a little loud, but the food and service is the only thing we really care about. The risotto is insanely good ..we will be coming back for date night this Friday again

I had dinner at gooyi with my family. We got beef combo and pork belly. Their meat are all premium quality, very fresh and tasty. My favorite is their marinated beef and pork belly--super juicy, tender, and flavorful! Very Yummy! Every dishes are presented perfectly, and they even cook and serve the meat for you. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the mouthwatering meat and also enjoy their excellent serivce, which is one of the best! I had been here for couple times, the store is always so clean, servers are super friendly every time. Gooyi92 is one of my favorite resturants!

Stopped by for lunch on a Monday with a friend. There was no wait, although it was still a bit busy considering it was a Monday! There were only a couple servers, but they did a decent job of checking on us. During lunch they offer specials, which were great. We got the stir-fried pork, soft tofu stew, and cream udon. Split between two people it was more than enough food, with leftovers! It also came with the standard banchan. Everything was delicious!

Came here for lunch special with my dad. Only one order allowed per person for $11.92 each. We got the spicy story fried pork and the seafood tofu. Both were excellent and quite spicy!! The waitress working there was the nicest person ever. Like over the top service and quality. Very clean and empty when we came during opening hours.

This review is a few weeks overdue. Husband and I came and had the best experience. Staff was very nice they cooked the meat for us. Fresh from grill to your mouth! The ambiance is very cozy. I'm grateful to the lady server she noticed my big belly (preggo alert!) and automatically cooked the meat well done without me having to ask her. She served me with the warmest smile and said good bye to me personally at the door. I was very touched with her thoughtfulness. Food was 5/5. Husband and I ordered the beef premium package. Everything was delicious. Their side dishes really balanced out the meal for us. We will for sure return to try the intestines option.

Amazing service and cooking by Jane! She was very sweet and recommended the risotto (which was an overall fav)! The meat was delicious rick and high quality. We had the most popular and affordable combo on the menu, which included various types of meat, veggies, and banchan! The tartar was well flavored and perfect for a later snack. Also the wood tables and stone grills made the whole experience an interactive one and I'm so great full to GOOYI92 for having us!

Gooyi92 in Irvine offers an incredible lunch special menu, for $12 per person we got flavorful grilled pork and a tasty tofu soup along with unique banchan side dishes. The pork was super tender with an awesome marinade that packed a flavor punch. Their tofu soup had deep, savory broth and soft tofu. But what really stood out was their selection of banchan, which includes some items I haven't seen at other Korean spots. Between the high-quality proteins, homemade soups, and intriguing banchan, Gooyi92's lunch special provides fantastic value and a dining experience highlighting their flair for Korean flavors. This is for my true foodies out there who are down to try it all My top 3 items you must try at... Goo-Yi 9.2 Irvine, Ca This is the type of meal you want to treat yourself. Bring some friends to share more than one entree because it's a lot! You don't want to go in with one entree. I like to come in with a crew and order a few items to share. And all these are all shareable. Tag that crew you want to feast this with My top 3 items starting with a starter 1. Beef Tartare | From the menu, it doesn't look a lot but once it's in front of you, it is plenty Everything comes separately on one plate Raw Beef Quail Egg Sesame oil Sliced Pears You mix all together but the pears. Once all mixed take a piece or two of the and some tartar and eat up 2. Prime Ribeye Cap Steak Loved how they requested how you would like it cooked. Of course, I am getting it medium rare. It's the only way. I'm this is grilled over a stone grill. Love those beauty line marks on that meat. Take that bite-size steak and dab it onto the salt it gives you. 3. Beef Intestines Combo When I see this on the menu, it literally just makes me happy. And I have this one friend who is down to eat it with me. You get to choose 3 from the following Tripe Abomasum Gopchang Daechang Which 3 are you getting?

their lunch menu is so good! the cold noodles have an incredibly flavorful broth and the kimchi stew is super. I was a really big fan of their beef tartare with the korean pears. the service was incredibly sweet and checked up on us and cooked our meat for us. the experience is definitely premium.

It's been a while since I've been in this establishment for their famous Big Intestines and Small Intestines on a hot platter served with potato, asparagus, garlic, mushrooms and other vegetables! The service was great and foods were delicious but the price was exorbitant. I'm definitely recommending the establishment for the service and quality of food as well as the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant! Please, do try this place at least once! You won't regret it! Try Soju and Terra beer!

Me and my friend came here on a weekday lunch around noon. The place was quiet with few customers. We were seated right away. We wanted to checkout their "$11.92" lunch deals. It was pretty good. You can share the dishes as long as it is not just one dish for the entire table. We got their spicy chicken rice bowl, two kinds of soft tofu soup - seafood and noodle. Both were tasty. Side dishes were promptly replenished. Portion size is small but nevertheless satisfactory. I highly recommend checking out this place.

Gooyi92 was a splendid experience! Let's get this outta the way: it's prohibitively expensive. This is a luxury, premium dining experience (according to them) and the prices reflect that. It's similar to Baekjeong. You pick a package and your meats come out in a "prefixed" line up. This is not all you can eat. A server will bring your protein out along with banchan, a scallion pancake, tofu soup, and a steamed egg. Only the banchan is refillable while everything else is a charge. The sever, or A server, will proceed to cook your food for you on a small table top grill powered by flammable gel. The meats were phenomenal. Our favorite was the rib meat which was tender, juicy, and well marbled. The additions of the mushrooms and other veggies were very appreciated. The steamed egg might be one of the best I've ever had. Cheesy, steamy eggy goodness had me asking for more - only it's an extra charge. All of this was honestly a weirdly wonderful experience. I felt taken care of. Pampered if you will. It was a novel, ornate, and sort of silly dinner. Watching the server handle the meats with surgeon like precision was almost funny. The jazzy elevator music was soothing and added to the vibe of an near clinical dining experience. That being said, the atmosphere in Gooyi doesn't feel "fancy" or "luxurious". It's aggressively normal run-of-the-mill atmosphere feels like a betrayal when faced with the massive bill. I can't see myself coming back here unless someone else is picking up the check. I'm not sure if I can even recommend it. At the end, it didn't feel worth while. Although delicious, my satisfaction was short lived. If you have the means & you are craving quality over quantity Gooyi92 might be a match

As this was my first time, I ordered the cheese tripe fried rice and enjoyed eating that alongside the banchan. Our waitress was extremely attentive, entertaining, and hospitable! I will likely come back here.

My new favorite kbbq restaurant in Irvine! Friendly service, delicious food and nice ambiance. Located in a nice spacious plaza with lot of parking! I came in for dinner and ordered the beef combo. They cook for you at the side of the table and were very friendly and attentive. My favorites were the prime boneless short rib and prime ribeye! The meat was so tender and melted in your mouth. There were lot of side dishes as well! Make sure to reserve online, especially during dinnertime! I will definitely be back!

An unfortunate experience that started out great. We went in for their lunch specials, and had spicy pork, spicy chicken and bulgogi and all were wonderful. Service was good too. Then we decided to bring some back to our friends to try and ordered 3 pork and 3 chicken lunch specials to go. We got our order and left then returned to Pasadena. Once we arrived at our neighbors' house, we discovered we had been shorted one order: there were five in the bags when we ordered six. We called the store and kept getting busy signals on the phone. After a couple hours I called again and reached someone. Then when trying to explain my problem the phone disconnected. Well, that was bad. Blacklisted.

WOW! The lunch special here is amazing. Great value, great service, and the food is delicious. The banchan are unique, well-flavored, beautifully plated and the staff proactively refilled them! Speaking of the staff, they were so friendly and do everything with a cheerful attitude and a smile on their face. I ordered the pork intestine tofu soup. It came out quickly and was everything I could have wanted in a tofu soup - deep in flavor and piping hot. I did notice that the pot itself wasn't hot enough to cook my egg, but that's just a minor detail in my opinion given how quickly the food came out. Someone in my party ordered the stir fried spicy pork. WHAT VALUE! For $12, the portion size was quite large. Overall, our experience with the lunch special here was great. The ambience was nice, the service was great, the food was delicious, and we were in and out in just under 40 minutes, which I consider to be a plus for a lunchtime meal.

This Korean bbq place bills itself as "luxury" and it reflects in their price. Is the food worth the price though? That's debatable. The rib cap and the marinated short rib are very good, but the portions might be a bit small for $50ish and $45ish, respectively. Waiters were helpful, they cook for you, but once the cooking stops, the service slows. However the high quality meat does warrant 4 stars with one star taken off for price and slower service near the end of the meal. One thing I do really like is the smaller grill too - for our two meats they brought out two, and it cooks the meat more cleanly while cutting down on the smells

First time visiting Gooyi and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a minute! We had an early dinner before dropping off some out of town family, and the Beef Combo was the perfect choice. Pro-Tip: the Beef Combo will feed 2-5 people, depending on how much pple eat. And don't be deceived after the first platter, a second whole platter of meat is coming. Pro-Tip 2: it can get crowded at peak hours so consider coming in between 4-5pm if you can. The meat was super succulent, and even tho it's a little more expensive, the price point:value is honestly much better than AYCE places. They include a ton of delicious banchan and the jjigae are lowkey fire - I love spice and both had a nice kick. The staff were super attentive and made sure the meat was cooked to perfection. And the interior and ambiance were very classy and clean.

Expensive, but ACTUALLY worth the price. I'm not saying its value, but the meat is delicious and the service is amazing. The workers are very nice and very talkative. Not trying to be racist but I usually dont get much interaction at korean restaurants because I am not Korean. Here at Gooyi92, this was not the case. I can tell the management treats their workers very well too, as they really care about them. They can cook for you, which is great since these meats are higher quality and should be handled by ppl who know what they are doing.

Ordered the Prime Ribeye Cap Steak. Hyped it up in my mind since they limit it to 5 orders per day. It was good but nothing amazing. They cook it in front of you on a small grill and ask you how you would like it cooked. Also ordered the Beef Brisket Soft Tofu Soup and Kimchi Cold Noodle from their lunch special. The tofu soup was good but the cold noodle was a bit too cold. It came with ice which made the dish feel like a noodle slush. Glad I tried it but if I wanted kbbq I would probably just go to an AYCE spot.

Awesome lunch specials for just $11.92 with 11 options to choose from. The two of us came on a Friday afternoon and were immediately greeted and seated at our table. We opted for the small intestine soft tofu stew and stir fried spicy pork. Both of the dishes were solid and tasty with bold flavors. Lunch specials also came with unlimited banchan and side of rice. We left feeling full and satisfied with the portion. Service was friendly, and they refilled our banchan throughout the meal. Can't wait to be back to try the other dishes. They run these lunch specials from 11am - 4pm everyday.

I was satisfied with my dinner here. Their meat was tender, and soft, the steam egg was fluffy and smooth and the side dishes were refreshing and flavorful. Their service was amazing. Our server had a big smile on her face, making us feel very welcomed. It was a great dining experience at Gooyi92.

Beef quality is amazing!!! Melted in my mouth. I also love the overall ambiance, they play jazz instead of kpop like most places.

Food - The quality of meat was undeniably good. Tender and well marbled. My only complaint is the price. The portions are quite small and for ~$50 a plate, that is outrageous. Yes the meat is very good, but $50 is still a lot. Steamed egg was very fluffy and tasty! Soybean soup was lacking depth of flavor. Service - Very good. Our waiter cut and cooked our meat for us and was very attentive even though he was extremely busy. Ambiance - Decent amount of indoor seating. Clean and casual. The way they serve the meat was very cute and unique. Not many places use this kind of stone stove. Fun experience.

This is a must try! I really loved the ambiance here! We were greeted by friendly servers/hostess. We were seated right away! They were very helpful with their recommendations. We ordered the egg plate, short ribs, and kimchi risotto. Everything was just so delicious especially the meat. It was so tender and tasty! I was impressed how the servers help cook the meat for us; the grill was super unique and cool imo. I also loved the side dishes especially the salad and the kimchi! I will definitely come back to try more.

Came on a Friday at 12:30. Not too busy. Started getting busy as we left. Only 1 server so it was a slow start for them to take our order. Eventually 2 other servers showed up so things did pick up. Banchans...cucumber was so fresh and crunchy! Uhmook (fish cakes) were deceptively tasty! Ordered Prime Ribeye cap bbq. Comes out partly cooked. They finish it off on the small Japanese grill with veggies. I expected a higher quality of meat because the price is on the steep side for 1 order $50. It was heavenly! I usually like my a little bit past medium rare because it could get too chewy. But medium rare was perfect! Soft, juicy, beefy! Also ordered the tripe kimchi fried rice. Weird finish to that dish. No need to order it again. The daengjang jjigae with chadolbaegi was a revelation! I could just have that and banchans with rice and I would be a happy camper. The servers were very good and pleasant. They speak English well enough. They have well priced lunch specials and dakdoritang which you don't see commonly. So I would def try next time!

Me and my cousin were looking to try a fancier Korean bbq place and decided to check this place out. Plenty of parking space so no hassle there. There was no wait so we sat down immediately and browsed through the menus. We weren't really sure how the dishes would come out since our server didn't really explain much even when we asked but that's okay. We first attempted to order the rib eye but sadly it was sold out so we settled for the beef fingers and short rib. One thing you need to know is one order of a dish is probably good enough to fill up 2 people. The portions of the meat are generous so definitely keep that in mind. Our beef finger came out first and I have to say... the quality of the meat is really top notch. It was so juicy and tender! I couldn't wait for the short rib! Sadly that took about 15 minutes to come out. It seems our server forgot to take down the order of the short rib so that sucks. But eventually the plate did come out. I'm sure the ribeye would taste amazing here but this short rib is probably the best Ive had in a while. Really good marbling and balance between fat and meat. Extremely juicy and delicious! Some of the sides are good too. The little egg pancake, the green onion in some red sauce, and the sauces provided all are really tasty. Sadly, I can't give this place 5 stars only cause it seems like the service can be pretty shaky here. They cooked both our dishes at our table which is cool but they did forget to put down our order of the short rib which wasn't a deal breaker but still, I can't give it a solid 5 stars even though the meats we tried were absolutely delicious! Overall on the 2 dishes spent, (sides of rice weren't charged) it was around $59 tip included from each of us. I would say definitely come here if you're looking for more premium tasting meats to try! Keep in mind also the prices are pretty expensive for just one dish that can feed 2! Place can hopefully work on their service!
