We stopped by the Napa location of Gott’s Roadside, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The weather was perfect, the crowd was manageable, and the food absolutely delivered.
I ordered the double cheeseburger, paired with sweet potato fries and a New Glory Gummy Worms Chewy Pale Ale. My friend opted for the chicken sandwich daily special, garlic fries, and a Coke.
Double Cheeseburger: Succulent, juicy, and perfectly cooked. This burger rivals any top-tier spot like Super Duper or In-N-Out. Every bite melted in my mouth, making it a standout classic.
Sweet Potato Fries: Crispy with a satisfying crunch, they were the perfect companion to the burger.
Pale Ale: I’m not typically a beer guy, but this pale ale was refreshing, smooth, and surprisingly enjoyable.
My friend’s garlic fries were flavorful but just a touch soft for my liking, though that didn’t stop us from eating every last one!
And now for the star of the show: the crab sandwich. Though I only had a single bite of my friend’s, it stole the spotlight. Packed with fresh, flaky crab, crisp lettuce, green onions, and an incredibly refreshing sauce, this sandwich was phenomenal. It was generously portioned and bursting with flavor, easily worth more than the menu price. If I return, and I absolutely will, it’s what I’d order without hesitation.
Gott’s is a place that nails it on all fronts, food, atmosphere, and service. Whether you’re craving a classic burger or looking to indulge in the best crab sandwich you’ll ever try, this is the spot. Don’t think twice, go and enjoy a meal that’s truly worth 5 stars.
