Best Restaurants in Roswell, Georgia | Eater Atlanta

"Helmed by Ford Fry veterans Jasmin Willis-Slewitske and Conner Slewitske, this quaint Southern eatery instantly became a Roswell staple after opening its doors in 2019. The couple attempts to source as much local produce as possible for the kitchen at Gracious Plenty, including harvesting vegetables from an onsite garden. The results are a mouthwatering taste of North Georgia bounty with a rotating array of seasonal offerings alongside evergreen selections. The brunch-focused menu sticks to the staples, ensuring that each dish is well executed. Biscuits and gravy are scratch-made every morning, while a slow-roasted pork butt with a tangy apple cider barbecue sauce features in a hearty sandwich for those craving lunch. Before booking a table, keep in mind that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays." - Sarah Bisacca

I’ve been waiting to come here with my husband for a while now. Every time we come, the wait time is so long since we usually come with large parties. But this time we came by 10am and just had a party of 2 so we were seated immediately. The iced latte was way better than expected. And the food was wonderful as well. My husband had the Philly cheese steak and I had the breakfast burrito. They have a tasty jalapeño sauce to go along with the burrito, we also asked for hashbrowns and they made them just like we asked, with grilled onions and cheese. I would definitely come back again.

I stopped here on Friday morning and ordered a build-your-own biscuit sandwich with a scrambled egg, Swiss cheese and mushrooms. It was great! I also ordered a cup of coffee and a slice of French Almond cake. The coffee and food were delicious, and the service was excellent. I didn’t have any trouble parking on site, but I can see why it might be challenging on the weekends. I’ll definitely be back.

I have a friend who always thinks he’s right. And it bothers me to no end…he thinks he knows bbq and more importantly, southern biscuits…but Gracious Plenty was my moment where he was proven wrong in a matter of seconds and first bite. He thinks he’s had the best biscuit in his life. In Nashville. A place that was positioned by locals and THE place for biscuits… But now he is wrong as Roswell now holds that position in his mind. In the pantheon of southern biscuits (and breakfast), Gracious Plenty takes top spot in THE best biscuit on the planet. And I can’t figure out what they do…maybe it’s a mix of pixie dust, some unicorn dust or just people who care about their craft on making the most delicious breakfast that your soul can take. It’s that good. But never turn your eye on the other offerings at this southern gem hidden deep in Roswell. The breakfast bowls look amazing, the burgers are slap worthy and the lunch menu looks impressive. The staff is incredible and watching the cooks from my seat shows you the care they take with every hot plate delivered. If you can make it here to validate my review, get here early for the lines do form at peak times. Order my favorite - biscuit, friend egg and pimento cheese. Your soul with thank you in the first bite. And you can prove your own friend wrong as well…when they display that satisfied visage after taking the first bite.

Wow - what an excellent experience! A friend of mine ate here yesterday and wanted to go back today to try a biscuit sandwich. After driving from Cumming, I felt obliged to join him for the last half mile since it’s right around the corner. I’m glad I did. 😎 I had the breakfast burrito with a side biscuit and my buddy had an egg/cheese biscuit with a side of bacon. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. I read the low reviews and will agree with the following: Parking is tough, it’s a small restaurant and it is pricey. I will gladly plan ahead and pay extra for such a great meal.

When you first pull up there is a parking lot in the back with limited parking. You’ll notice two big green eggs outside and if you know about the big green egg grills then you’ll know they make an amazing smoke flavor on your foods!!!! The inside of the restaurant is cute and homey. I live that the menu is simple. We didn’t wait more than 5 minutes to order and our waiter Austin was very nice. I didn’t feel overwhelmed making a choice. I noticed their specialty deviled eggs promotion and decided to give them a try. They were sweet and savory not too much seasoning. I opted for the Bruce’s plate which includes 3 eggs cooked how you want, a chicken sausage link, 2 slices of bacon fruit and a biscuit. They also have create your own bowls with which you can create a base of grits hashbrowns or a sandwich then shoose your toppings. My husband got the breakfast burrito and the jalepeno cheese comes on the side. Thanks goodness because it is spicy! I loved it but my husband doesn’t like too much spice so it’s good that you’re able to put it on at your own leisure. My Bruce’s plate looked good the bacon was very flavorful and a little sweet. The biscuit was soft and buttery! and the jam tasted like orange sweet and tart. The chicken sausage was ok lit has a little spice to it. The eggs were cooked to perfection over medium. I was a little disappointed with the seasonal fruit as it was just and orange and I was expecting a small Medely so I would suggest asking what the current seasonal fruit is. My husbands breakfast burrito was good. It had eggs bacon and hashbrowns inside. they also have a green salsa verde that he tried with the burrito that enhanced the flavor as well. My only hiccup was that a small piece of what appeared to be dog hair was on one of my eggs but Austin saved the day he immediately took the food away and deeply apologized. He had the food remade in less than 5 minutes brand new eggs and all! I feel the price was fair for the quality of the food. When the bill came out Austin had comped the meal for me!!!!I was just appreciative that they had made my entire meal over without giving me a hard time. The biscuit was my favorite out of everything and yes BETTER THAN POPEYES. But we needed a nap after all that food! We will definitely be coming back!!!!!!

💥 What a treat! I've been in hospitality for over 20 years & this place nails it! 🎯 We were warmly greeted upon entering and invited to have a seat where we'd like. Grace, our server, was more than that...she was a gracious host who made us newbies feel right at home. She's kind, patient and genuine. I had the cheesesteak & it was a homerun! It's not 100% Philly for you purists, but it's one of the best I've had in the ATL area because of the house-made, fresh Amoroso bread & it's perfectly executed with the cheese being incorporated throughout! A++ The hashbrowns didn't disappoint with its perfectly browned & crispy exterior! Level them up with a side of house-made pimento cheese...yum!! Want hot sauce?- yep, made from scratch! My gf ordered the BYO bowl with fresh guacamole, perfectly cooked bacon(I know it's subjective), sautéed mushrooms and a spot on egg...delicious!! As a chef, myself, I was impressed with this gem of a place! You can see and taste the passion chef Connor puts into his crafted menu...well done, chef! Hats off to you & your staff!!

This was my first time being at this wonderful place! I met a friend there who was introduced to the place by one of her friends along time ago. I’m pretty sure that they get a lot of of their clientele that way. Because they are good enough to tell people about! Had the grits bowl and a biscuit🧑🏼‍🍳💋Their chicken sausage is delicious! Absolutely will come back. Hoping for a warmer sunny day so we can sit outside!

Gracious Plenty is filled with brunch love goodness. All food is cooked to order with perfection. Eggs, chicken sausage, monkey bread, hash browns, deviled eggs, breakfast burrito, and of course coffee were all to die for. Service was on par with a Michelin-rated restaurant. Yelp
I am always so happy when we eat here. Every food choice feels like it is made with love. The servers are super friendly and helpful. The coffee is rich and full. My favorite breakfast items are the biscuits and the grits. The biscuits come with homemade butter and jam!!! So, so good!! And the grits are so creamy and perfectly flavored--they're stone grits, too, and a really great consistency--both creamy as well as still grits, if that makes sense. If you can snag a seat outside, it's so lovely to enjoy the views of families and dogs strolling along Canton St. The whole experience is a treat!

Yelp
Last weekend John and I went up to Roswell to check out Gracious Plenty, which has been on our breakfast and brunch list for quite some time! They're on the cutest little house that smells like baking biscuits and coffee, while their menu is stuffed with everything from biscuits and gravy (my fave dish they have), sandwiches and burgers, salads, pastries, deviled eggs coffee, a few brunch cocktails if you wish, and of course, build your own BFAST! For mine, I built a crunchy and hearty hashbrown based bowl topped with a runny egg that saturated the creamy American cheese and topped with grilled sweet potatoes, tangy onion, and earthy mushroom! Amazing! But as I mentioned before, the biscuits and gravy have my heart. A rich and hearty dish with a fluffy, buttery, HUGE biscuit in the center and surrounded by a moat of creamy, savory, spicy sausage gravy! I'm still thinking about it today! We also enjoyed these menu favorites like the Southern burga. It is two juicy patties loaded with creamy and sharp pimento cheese and spicy, sweet pepper jelly, pickles for tang, and topped with some lettuce! So good! John and I really loved the Monkey bread. It is pull apart, crunchy and buttery outside, inside a cinnamon and sugar cake with a superb sweet icing drizzle over the top. In love. The Deviled eggs are savory egg stuffed with a tangy yolk filling topped with sweet pepper jelly and bacon crumbles. Yum! Johns beast was a biscuit base with American cheese and bacon. Plain and simple but he said it was delicious. The beast you can build any way you want from hashbrowns, kale, biscuit or grits then tops with choice of protein, cheese, and veggies! They also have mimosas with a variety of flavors! I got cranberry, but they have orange, pineapple and more! The staff really keeps you feeling welcome. Just note this is a small place and a wait is typical on the weekends.

Yelp
A wonderful place to have breakfast on a Saturday morning! Indoor/Outdoor seating available. Live music outdoors and a few pop up shops as well. The breakfast bowls are insanely delicious and great portions. Ask for the house made hot sauce. They also offer breakfast beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). There may be a wait time. This is a popular restaurant. The service was great and everyone is friendly as they are helpful.

Yelp
we have been there for a Saturday brunch around 10:30 AM and there was a 35 minute wait (not sure if we can reserve beforehand). We joined the waitlist and explored the streets around. There were nice halloween decorations and good vibes all around. We got our table in less than 30 minutes. We were seated inside near bar, it's a small but nice place inside and they also got ample patio seating. I am someone who always gets disappointed if there was no beverage (coffee & tea) selection and this place was one. They serve only black coffee (hot or iced) and some bottled drinks. The bottled oat latte that we ordered was pretty good. And the food had taken it all. Everything was so delicious and nicely curated. The biscuit is one of the best biscuits I had in the town. We will definitely revisit and adding this place to our favorite list.

Yelp
When we visited Atlanta for nine days, we found this brunch place full of people in line. The rule of finding a good restaurant is by the people lining up. So we tried it. The rule was still consistent because the place made us come back for another brunch with the family. We stayed in alfresco. The vibe is like a sunny Sunday morning with clean and crispy air. Their menu is simple but all fresh and organic. It's funny cause I ordered the same, so sorry. I had avocado toast and eggs sprinkled in pepper and peach coffee roasters (a must try! 'cause the peach didn't overpowered the coffee bean. Best coffee they have!) One thing that didn't stand out for me was its monkey bread -- the one that I had tasted like it's been baked three days ago. It's hard and too sweet for me.

Yelp
Never fails. Amazing service, food is awesome, too. Biscuits good enough to wait in line nom nom nom.

Yelp
Good gracious there is Gracious Plenty to save the day. I intended on taking my family to Fellows down the street for brunch and made the mistake of NOT making a reservation. We didn't even park as we drove past and saw the lines outside the door. Yelp came in clutch and pointed me in the direction of Gracious Plenty. It was 2021 when there was really only outdoor dining when eating out - and they had a quaint window to order from. The menu was super basic and straight forward. Options were limited, but to be honest, too many options make it harder for indecisive girls like me to choose just one thing. I started with an iced coffee (because it was the only caffeinated option on the menu) which I quite enjoyed, which makes sense because it's from my favorite Peach Coffee Roasters. I ordered a pimento cheese & bacon & sunny side egg biscuit - I was also tempted by the almond cake which was a perfect accompaniment to my iced coffee, and not too sweet. My parents went with the classic Bruce's Plate to share and my mom was SUPER adamant on ordering an extra side of hash browns, too and she was so pleased with it. Overall, everything I ate was tasty - nothing fancy but a solid breakfast. I'm assuming the menu may have gone back to more of a normal now - otherwise, many of the past items I tried I can make myself!

Yelp
This adorable spot is perfect for a weekend brunch or weekday coffee pick me up! The restaurant is small but they also have some bar seating (where we sat without a wait), and a patio (but it was a rainy day!). The bowls are big portions and customizable...and you HAVE to order a biscuit at least on the side. That combined with the homemade jam is life changing! The staff was kind and gave great tips for ordering.

Yelp
I love this place. Super cute and charming, great food and service. But (!!!!!!), their brew coffee is the worst.

Jenny M.

Yelp
What a biscuit gem in one of my favorite cities! Ordered at the counter to go and it was fast, easy and super friendly. Biscuit was soft with a bit of salt sprinkled on top got it with pimento cheese - a generous spread of the classic southern goodness. Next time we will dine in for sure!

Yelp
Dog friendly patio with all the biscuits you can eat! One of my favorite breakfast places to hangout at when the sun is shining and the coffee is hot. Give me a bacon egg pimento cheese biscuit please and another on the side to pair some jelly with. The bacon, cooked crisp and mouth watering to perfection.

Yelp
Yes!!!! I love a restaurants that support the community. I met Connor who is the owner with his wife Jasmine, they support local farmers from Athens, serving organic white eggs and honey from Woodstock served with a slightly flaky soft biscuit , the bacon was cooked just right !!! Plenty of parking in the back, online orders may be placed, seating outside with heaters!! Can see off of main street and Connor opened up a about ut 6 years ago!! Bruces plate was fatastic i was stuffed and yes i ate the whole plate with a side of hash browns. 3 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 1/ chicken sausage and orange slices with a biscuit for abiut $16 well worth it!! A cup of coffee, served with fresh cream and my favorite request sugar in the raw, from Peachtree Roasters, medium roast with tasting notes of chocolate, cane sugar, and dried fruit, I drink about half a cup I'm not a big fan of fruit notes in my coffee the coffee brand is good!! And then I ordered to go a mini cinnamon bundt cake known as monkey bread and a slice of almond cake dusted with powdered sugar the almond cake was moist I believe I've bit into maybe sliced almonds and is great paired with a cup of coffee or tea!! There is ice cream to go!! CM ICE CREAM, I'm not sure the story behind that but they are ice cream to go the only reason why I didn't try it is because I had drove quite a ways and I didn't want the ice cream to melt. Oh and before I sign off Grace your service is a waitress was good it wasn't too much as I sat there and enjoyed breakfast and caught up with the friend and you gave us our space and also checked on us, any small requests I had she swung right by to fulfill the request I appreciate that!! Well there ya go!!

Gwen O.

Yelp
Food was just amazing. I got the avocado toast with an egg on top and the bread they used was perfectly crisp and soft. The avocado itself was so fresh and flavorful. It took awhile to get our waters after we were sat but other than that, it's a great spot.

Yelp
Honestly the best breakfast we have had in our "Tour of Saturday Breakfast Places". Firstly, it's super cute but small. We got there about 8:30 an and had a 20 min wait to eat inside. Could have been sat immediately if we wanted to be outside. The food was delicious. Hubs got hash brown base, chicken sausage, 2 eggs scrambled...so good looking. Kids got a biscuit and bacon - and the bacon was good!!!! So yummy I got the avocado toast. It was good. But next time I am making a bowl like my husbands .. So yes this place is GREAT and we'll go back.

Erica K.

Yelp
The service is always great! Grace and Jake are the sweetest . I love their grits bowl it literally warms my soul. The chicken salad is also really good.

Yelp
Being originally from California, I have now lived in the Roswell area for a good amount of time. Oddly enough, I had never been to Gracious Plenty on Canton Street in the Historic Roswell area. I started my day by looking for a local place that serves breakfast all day. And yelp pointed me towards this restaurant, and the many great reviews sealed my decision. If you're familiar with Canton Street, then you know all too well about the parking challenges. This place actually shares a private parking lot directly behind the restaurant. Score...!!! When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted immediately by a friendly hostess with a big smile. Being that I was dining alone, I decided to sit at the small bar or counter area. Being that this was my first time here, I decided to try the ever popular Bruce's Plate. It's a traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, fresh fruit, and a buttermilk biscuit. Well, I'm not typically a big fan of biscuits, but their biscuit was great. It tasted freshly baked, buttery, and flaky. They serve honey, butter, and/or jam with the biscuit. The interior is relatively small, but there's also extra seating outside on the patio. The one element that made the biggest impression to me was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone, including, Lea, Tyler, and Scott, were overly friendly and quite welcoming. The only downside for me was the lack of soft drink options. They do carry Mexican Coke and Mexican Sprite in the bottle; however, they do not carry fountain drinks, and they do not have any sugar free soft drink options. With the lack of fountain drinks aside, based upon the taste and quality of the food combined with the friendliness of the staff, I would definitely consider returning here for breakfast Thursday through Monday, and I would highly recommend others consider visiting Gracious Plenty sometime soon. Cheers

Yelp
Good brunch spot. Food was good and service was above average. I will revisit and recommend it to others.
google avatar

Yelp
I love a good brunch but my husbands family is more of a traditional breakfast crew so I have to remember to tone it down and look for a delicious brunch that will satisfy everyone. This place was perfect for brunch and everyone loved their meal. I'm always down for some country cooking and a country brunch is everything. Biscuits & Gravy + pulled pork Bruce's plate Fruit Parfait Grit bowl + kale + onion + bacon + cheese
google avatar

Nina Y.

Yelp
The food here is outstanding. Service was friendly, efficient, attentive, and seemed well-coordinated. We ordered takeout and a Bloody Mary while we waited. They use the toast app so everything was clearly communicated and was perfectly prepared. There's a reason why people wait 40 minutes for breakfast/brunch here! I'd love to try dining in and the pastries next time.

Yelp
We came on Saturday for brunch & had about an hour wait. The restaurant is small with outside seating. We sat outside & our server came very quickly. The food was good & fresh! We did the breakfast plate and I got a side of hash browns. Hash browns were great! Overall, good food, atmosphere & service. I'd come back!
google avatar

Joyita B.

Yelp
It's a lovely hole in the wall breakfast place. They have a limited menu which is awesome cause if you are anything like me, I get major FOMO when the menu is excessively extensive. We got the sangria and Bloody Mary for drinks. It was served very quickly and was good. Parking is a breeze, they have their own parking lot which is behind the establishment. Also, the waitlist for the restaurant reservation was not too long at noon. Out server explained everything we needed to know and gave his recommendations. The whole ambience definitely had a small town charm which was warm and welcoming. Super cute brunch date spot and perfect for family breakfast/ brunch. For food, I got the avocado toast and the side salad. My husband got the hash brown bowl. We also got a biscuit to share. Our server had said that it was their best seller and he was right! The biscuit melted in my mouth with bursting buttermilk flavor. It paired perfectly with their house-made strawberry jam. Overall the food was amazing. I will definitely revisit.

Destinee B.

Yelp
Haven't had a bad experience yet. Service is great. Love the outdoor seating during warmer months. Breakfast is simple, but well executed. You can taste the quality in the ingredients. Great southern biscuit. I know every time I go, I will have a nice experience.
google avatar

Erica S.

Yelp
This is such a cute place to eat at. It's dog friendly and in a cute welcoming area. We came here for breakfast around 11 and there was a 45 minute wait with 16 parties ahead of us but the host told us they're really quick at to go orders so that we should order to go and sit immediately next door. The place next door is called North End and they don't open until dinner which was perfect because the space kind of merges into each other on the patio area. We got our food in 15 mins and I was still brought to us. The biscuits are heavy and good and salty. We will definitely be back and plan to check out north end later tonight
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
Ordered the Build Your Own bowl and the Biscuits with Pork gravy. Both were delicious but the Build Your Own Bowl definitely won because of the hashes browns and the avo smash! Tyler was our server and he was amazing and made our first visit to Georgia memorable. Had outdoor seating during end of April season and it was beautiful
google avatar

Yelp
My oh my this bakery is most certainly gracious and the portions are plenty. Never been to the Roswell area before, but Gracious Plenty makes returning a no brainer. Very reasonable prices. Great food and friendly staff. It was about a 10 minute wait at 1 pm on a Sunday. We got seated really quickly. The coffee is solid, and if you need your caffeine fix it's worth an order. I love that they have shishito peppers here. Such great flavor on them. I had the hash bowl with a biscuit and eggs. Such a good biscuit. The salt on top was perfection! Can't wait to return.
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
Excellent farm to table food and friendly service. Parking is sparse . The breakfast was fresh and portions large. The biscuits were perfect, buttery , crisp top and pillowy inside. It was our first visit but coming back for sure.

Yelp
I will no longer be patronizing this establishment. Yes, they have good food, but so does many other places, especially on Canton Street. I have told many people about this establishment...but will not longer. I am fed up with these restaurants and businesses Nickle and Diming customers. They charged for the actual container they put your food in if you do a takeout order. What happened to "thank you for your business". It's called "the cost of doing business" people. When will we say enough is enough! Charging customers for containers to carry out the food you just purchased...it's ridiculous! Then I ordered scrambled eggs. They charged me double because they assumed I wanted two eggs...well don't most people for a standard order!! Not to mention, I was not given TWO eggs...if so, they were from anorexia chickens! A hashbrown bowl for $18 dollars!!! This place is too expensive for this. After I arrived at my location ready to eat...no plasticware, no napkins... They can over charge for every little thing, but not give a customer what they need to actually enjoy the meal. Then to make matters worst...the food was an absolute MESS! Everything was tossed loosely in a box and my cheese container was wrapped with a rubber band and had moved around in the food...yuck! Very unsanitary! We just take what these places dish out like we don't have a choice. Well, no more for me. I work hard for my money and I will spend it where I am appreciated as a paying customer and not insulted and taken for granted.

Yelp
I've had my eye on Gracious Plenty for years and never got a chance to try it until this past December when I was in town visiting family. It took moving out of state to try it, but glad I finally got to! My family and I placed an order online while we were still over 30 minutes away. We ordered a variety of different breakfast items such as bowls, plates, sandwiches, and more. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was pretty busy. It was a Saturday morning afterall. At the time of our visit, they had a table set up outside where you can place an order as well as pick-up to-go orders. Pretty convenient. We didn't even have to step inside the restaurant, so can't comment on the interior. However, the outdoor area was charming and dog friendly. We didn't stay long since our order was ready and waiting for us. Highly recommend placing an order online to save time! Everything looked and tasted delicious. The only thing I was disappointed in was the monkey bread. I was super excited to try it, but was let down by how hard the bread was. We couldn't really enjoy it, but the rest of the items were great. I would go back!

Yelp
The service was excellent after we chose to sit at the picnic table under the big tree in the shade for brunch (for me) dessert for my father. It was all excellent and we will be back. The generous portion of Bruce's Plate with 3 eggs was more than what I could eat. The sauces included ketchup, peach vanilla jam, hot sauce and honey went well with everything. In fact, I dipped the bacon on honey for a wonderful experience ... OK a bit decadent. We will be back.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our BYOBs (build your own bowls) at Gracious Plenty! My only cons were the long wait and small parking lot, but the food and service definitely made up for it! Everyone was so nice and came around often for coffee refills! They were so busy but we still felt valued and not rushed at all! The pimento cheese here was bomb and all the veggies in the BOYBs were so fresh and seasoned well! They also have a homemade hot sauce (jalapeños and Fresno chilis) that was so tasty and went really well with our breakfast bowls. Can't wait to come here again!!
google avatar

Tanisha Y.

Yelp
This was a delightful experience! I had the most wonderful breakfast with the most wonderful staff. That being said, if it's a bunch day, there will be a wait. Get some hot tea or coffee from the to go counter and wait. The wait is worth it. I had the Bruce's Plate and a side of grits. My husband had the cheeseburger with hasbrowns. Bruce's plate is a playful plate: a biscuit, with bacon (pork), chicken sausage, eggs and fruit, then the side of grits. Everything was SO WELL SEASONED. I did not have to add anything to my eggs, and only apple butter to the biscuit. It made my mouth so happy. My husband had the cheeseburger which kind of lovingly tasted like a healthy big mac!! The hasbrowns were a beautiful mountain of golden brown potatoes. It was just beautiful. A great place to dine and enjoy a beautiful day.

Amazing Coffee, Delicious Food and Quality Service at this adorable spot! We can't wait to go back again soon!

Yelp
Really fresh and healthy breakfast spot in Downtown Roswell with plenty of patio seating. Came here on a Sunday around 1 PM with my dog and was seated outside with no wait! Super dog friendly place with plenty of water bowls for your pup. The food here is super clean and tasty. I ordered a hashbrown bowl with scrambled egg and marinated kale with a side of their house made Fresno chili hot sauce. So good!

Yelp
I'm a bit of a biscuit head, and although I'm no connoiseur, I've had my fair share. My mind was completely blown when I came here...Yelp had me drooling over the pics and I knew it'd look fantastic and probably be quite good, but I wasn't in store for how AMAZING everything actually was. I just had the basics, and every item was absolutely amazing: Biscuit: This was a fluffy cloud of buttery goodness. Lightly flaky with just the right amount of salt (that salt on the top YES YES YES!), it didn't even need any extra condiments to be delicious. That's not to say that the peach jam wasn't good...in fact, the peach jam was packed full of spices and peachy flavor, and just as good in its own right. We almost bought more biscuits to go, and I'm actually slightly regretting that we didn't get more. Grits: It was the perfect balance of seasoned and creamy (for some this may be the slightest bit salty), served in a large bowl with a sprinkling of chives. Absolutely fantastic and exactly what I wanted when I ordered grits. Chicken sausage: I daresay this was made in house (it tastes like it!). VERY soft and juicy, and as is the theme of this place....also bursting with flavor. I like that this did not seem greasy as with many "breakfast" style sausages, and the texture was meaty rather than crumbly. Everything was a resounding 10. Even the service was excellent; all employees were friendly, professional, and ready to help. We cannot wait to be back!

Yelp
Love the grits bowls and it's our go to spot and recommended dish when we have company. The monkey bread is also so yummy- but fyi it's not the typical monkey bread but rather made of biscuit dough- so delish. A southern twist on a classic

Yelp
My friend and I had brunch at Gracious Plenty yesterday and absolutely loved it! The food was tasty (I had the simple salad with some chicken salad and my friend had a choose-your-own-adventure breakfast plate), the service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the local small-business vibe of the place. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Birthday lunch after a 35 mile ride. The grit bowl with egg, bacon, sweet potato and avocado was delicious. Friends had a burger, a hash brown bowl, salad and a homemade biscuit, and all raved about them. We will be back to try more of their delicious food. Our waitress was amazing.

Yelp
I went this morning for the first time with a friend. We parked in the back. It was so nice not to have to search for parking. They have a patio if you want to eat outside, but we chose to eat inside. The music was quiet enough that we could talk and hear each other without a problem. We both had "The Bruce" which had 3 eggs (hers was scrambled perfectly and mine over medium) chicken sausage, 2 pieces of bacon, a biscuit, and fresh fruit. I had everything except the biscuit. It was A LOT of food, but we were hungry. It was all delicious! Our coffee was fresh brewed and just right. The waitress was attentive and lovely. All in all it was a wonderful breakfast. I will definitely be going back. I think it would be a great place to take out of town guests.

Yelp
Perfect weather, so we are outside. Housemate hibiscus strawberry sorbet for the mimosas was a great starter. Husband had the breakfast plate, and took one bite and said, 'mmmm, that's a good biscuit!' We enjoyed everything. The house made pimento cheese on the burger with the red pepper jelly was so good. The yogurt parfait was enough for two. We couldn't even eat it all. The caramelized banana was a nice touch with the house made granola. It didn't hurt that a live band was playing next door and the Vickers Apartments. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful, and Katie didn't steer us wrong with he recommendations.

Yelp
Super adorable and quaint restaurant. You walk in, and you are quickly greeted by the aroma of freshly baked biscuits and friendly conversation. If it's a nice day, grab your breakfast and enjoy it outside on their patio! Small interior does not allow for parties larger than four, however. I opted to make my own hash brown-based bowl for breakfast. Ordered a biscuit on the side and was not disappointed at the buttery flaky goodness!. Had to take home one of each dessert just to try and was not disappointed. Not over-the-top expensive, yet quality good-tasting simple food. CON: hardly any vegetarian options

Yelp
Great outdoor breakfast site. Usually a little wait but the muffins are delicious. We take our out of town friends here.
